Smooth and Silky Skin Hot Spring
The exterior gives the impression of a traditional hotel, but once inside, it feels like a bright and clean luxury Ryokan. The rooms and hallways have a touch of Showa retro atmosphere, yet everything is impeccably clean and well-maintained. The staff's hospitality is excellent. As for the meals, true to the hotel's name, there are many recipes featuring apples that were both enjoyable and delicious. However, the highlight was definitely the Onsen. The large public bath was almost always private whenever I visited, and the water quality was incredibly smooth—leaving my skin warm and moisturized after bathing. I also appreciated how they separated bathing areas for day visitors and overnight guests, which added to the special feeling of staying there. The welcome apple was not only delicious but also a charming idea that brought warmth to my experience. I would love to visit again!

Onsen large bath with 60 apples
The onsen large bath had 60 apples floating, which was delightful. The shuttle service to Hirosaki Station was also good. I couldn't reserve a room with a bed. Since I have been living with beds for a long time, it was difficult to stand up from the tatami due to the strain on my body. During dinner, another guest spilled soup or something similar on the floor (approximately 10cm in size plus some splatters). I pointed this out to male staff member A at the entrance reception, but it remained as is for about 30 minutes. It could have been dangerous if someone slipped and fell. I pointed it out again to another male staff member B before leaving the dining area. The next morning during breakfast, another guest dropped vegetables (onion?). Male staff member C noticed quickly and promptly cleaned it up. Please strive to become an excellent hotel professional like male staff member C who can proactively address issues even when busy or outside of their immediate responsibilities. Thank you very much!

Hotel Reviews
The accommodation is very considerate towards guests with children. The highlight I would recommend to others is the food, which was absolutely outstanding. You can enjoy unlimited 100% apple juice as a welcome drink or during breakfast and dinner. Although the building itself is a bit old, air purifiers are available in the rooms for those concerned about house dust, making it satisfactory unless you are overly sensitive. The private open-air bath had water that wasn’t too hot; while those who prefer hotter baths might find it lukewarm, it was perfect for bathing with young children and very satisfying overall. One downside I noticed was that while there’s a refrigerator in the room, I felt strongly that having complimentary water would have been nice. Additionally, vending machines are only located on the first floor regardless of how high your room floor is, which I found inconvenient. I also noticed that water had been left inside the kettle in my room without proper maintenance; as a result, I chose not to use it even though I wanted to. Lastly, when leaving and loading my luggage into my car with many bags in hand, one of the female staff members simply watched without offering any help—though she did bow—it left me feeling slightly uncomfortable. Despite these minor negatives outweighing them significantly were all positives leading to an overwhelmingly high rating overall!

Losing in business.
The bath facilities need improvement. Meals are average. The property feels outdated and not renovated. Is closure imminent?

The Dream Apple Land Hotel
The hotel name is cute. Apples are floating in the bath. I went thinking it was like a dream hotel. It's not fairy-tale-like, but the buffet meals are all delicious, you can get apples, and apple juice is all-you-can-drink. I'm glad I went.

A flawless Stays
I truly relaxed both my mind and body. The apple floating bath, the room arrangement, and the meals in the morning and evening. There were so many dishes I wouldn't have thought of, even as an apple lover, and I was delighted. The staff at the property were naturally attentive, making it really comfortable. Not recommended
The room was really old, and the cleanliness was not good. The bath area was the dirtiest I have ever encountered in Japan. The only positive aspect was the service. I do not recommend it.

It was as good as or even better than the reviews said. I want to go again!
I looked at the site and thought, "Is this a hotel mainly for children with a strong theme park vibe?" and made the reservation with some anxiety, but it was unfounded. I was very satisfied! I understand why the reviews are so good. At check-in, we were guided to our room and received a gift of "apples harvested from their own garden?" The garden has a variety of apple types, making it enjoyable to explore. There was something that looked like a Nebuta float in the garage at the back of the parking lot, and when I was peeking at it, a hotel staff member approached me, explained the Nebuta in detail, and even took a commemorative photo with the apple trees in the background. The staff member also participates in the Nebuta festival and even showed us festival videos on their smartphone, making it a very luxurious experience. When I opened the curtains in the room, there was a statue of Kannon right in front of me. Why??? I was surprised, but when I researched it online, I was moved. It was a statue of Kannon filled with the founding family's sentiments. During the day, you can visit it from the third floor. The food and drink offerings were also surprisingly abundant. There were many freshly made dishes, and the corn rice cooked in a pot was so exquisite that I had seconds. There were dishes using apples in the meals, and you could compare different apple juices, thoroughly enjoying the apples. Additionally, there was an all-you-can-drink selection of alcoholic beverages like beer and wine. Even after enjoying sparkling wine and apple juice from a tap in the lounge, we could relax and enjoy our meal. Hotels with wedding venues often have high-quality buffet meals, and this place was no exception. There was roast beef at the dinner buffet, and even the desserts were delicious, which was understandable. The quality of the hot spring water was good, and the onsen was, of course, excellent, but the hospitality of the hotel staff, the meals, and the onsen made it a hotel that was satisfying in every aspect. The building is a bit old, but it was clean and comfortable. I would love to visit again. Thank you very much!
