    Revisit with a Value Plan

    I found a great Plan on IKYU and couldn't resist revisiting. The addition of the sake service in the lounge made my stay even more satisfying. I thoroughly enjoyed the free-flowing Onsen and the semi-private dining for both dinner and breakfast. Thank you very much!

    A Relaxing Accommodation

    The bath and meals allowed for a calm and relaxing stay with minimal interaction with other guests. It was convenient to have bath towels and face towels available in the large public bath. One minor concern was the dust on the frames of the shoji screens in the dining area. While I understand that cleaning every corner can be challenging, I wanted to mention it respectfully.

    I want to visit again.

    The hot spring quality is excellent, keeping you warm for a long time. Both the open-air bath and indoor bath are enjoyable, with a low-temperature bath available for extended soaks. Fresh towels are provided in the large public bath area, allowing you to use a new one each time—very convenient! The meals were delicious, and the dessert was especially delightful as they prepared matcha Mont Blanc right in front of us. It was incredibly tasty. Depending on the time of day, there’s also complimentary alcohol and coffee service in the lounge. This was my first visit, but all the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making it a very cozy accommodation. I would love to visit again!

    The hot water is excellent, and with facility updates, it could become an even better accommodation.

    Some parts of the Facility show signs of aging. The location is excellent, being very close to Echigo-Yuzawa Station and various nearby attractions. However, the hospitality, or the feeling of "Welcome back," might only resonate with a select group of regular guests.

    6th Anniversary

    The private bath may not have the best view, but its spaciousness was impressive. Among the Kyoritsu Resort accommodations I’ve stayed at, this one felt particularly large. Coincidentally, my stay happened to fall on their 6th anniversary, and there was a lottery where I won a 720ml bottle of Niigata sake "Jozen Mizunogotoshi." Thank you very much! This is a reliable and classic Kyoritsu Resort accommodation.

    The hospitality was excellent!

    Completely Satisfied Again!

    I had such a great experience last year that I decided to stay again this year. The dishes made with local ingredients were as healthy and delicious as ever, leaving me completely satisfied. The private open-air hot spring in the Room and the large public bath with views of snow-covered scenery were both absolutely delightful. The hospitality was, of course, impeccable. It was a trip that inspired us, an elderly couple, to stay here at least once a year—and to keep ourselves healthy and strong for it!

    Recommended for those who want to travel alone!

    I booked this hotel for my first trip to Echigo Yuzawa. I am into solo travel, and since there was a solo stay plan and I wanted to enjoy local ingredients in a Japanese course meal, I immediately decided on this hotel that met all my needs! You can walk to the hotel from Echigo Yuzawa Station. It's easy to find as you just go straight along the road, and there's a Seven-Eleven on the way. I remember feeling even more excited when I received matcha and sweets at check-in. The staff were very kind and warm, and despite not having much prior information, they clearly explained recommended places to visit. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance from the hotel, and there's also the largest ropeway in Japan, so I was able to leave my luggage after check-out and walk there. The room was simply wonderful, with clean water facilities and prepared futons, ensuring privacy, which was perfect. I could relax as much as I wanted. I particularly liked the space with a reclining chair! The internet was smooth and not a concern. The Japanese sweets prepared in the room were so delicious that I was surprised and bought them as souvenirs. The tea and pickles were also incredibly delicious, making me fall in love with Niigata! For meals, I was provided with a private room for breakfast and dinner, allowing me to enjoy the local delicious ingredients with local sake while carefully looking at the wonderful menu. If you're concerned about being alone during meals, the private room allows you to fully focus on the meal and enjoy the delicious dishes. There was also a private bath, with both indoor and outdoor baths, which was very satisfying! It was very spacious! In the room, there was a prepared vinyl tote bag that you could take to the bath, which was convenient and had a cute design. In the lobby, guests could enjoy free coffee, which was a delightful service! If I go to Echigo Yuzawa again, I would definitely stay here! It's a very comfortable hotel, especially recommended for those who want to spend a relaxing time.

    A property that welcomes you with a wonderful spirit of hospitality.

    When I called the Stays from Echigo-Yuzawa Station with my elderly parents, they came to pick us up by car. At that time, they brought a discount ticket for the ropeway and even prepared the change when I handed over 10,000 yen, which surprised me with their hospitality from the start. The tea and sweets at the Stays were thoughtfully arranged so that we could relax in the room without any worries, allowing us to unwind and take it easy. Everyone working there had a homely feel. The handwritten menu and in-house guide also conveyed warmth. It is a recommended Stays.

    Onsen is the best

    This is my fourth visit to Echigo Yuzawa for the Ponshukan at the station, but the Onsen here was very good without any chlorine smell. The Room and the view of the garden with autumn leaves and koi were wonderful. The meals were delicious both in the morning and evening. The beef was sufficient in quantity, but it was a bit tough. The welcome matcha was also nice. It's close to the station, and it might become a favorite in Echigo Yuzawa along with the neighboring Yuki no Hana.

    Healing Stays

    I was welcomed back and felt as if I had returned home. The guest room had a stylish and striking atmosphere with a Japanese-style theme. The meals were wonderful, allowing us to enjoy the deliciousness of local seasonal ingredients. The service was courteous and impeccable. The large public bath was relaxing, with a view of the starry sky.

    Considering the acco...

    Considering the accommodation cost of the Hotel, the futon was thin and seemed uncomfortable to sleep on. The service also seemed somewhat less approachable compared to other Hotels I have experienced.

    This is a lovely inn where you can feel the charm of Japan.

    I stayed with my mother. The pick-up and drop-off service to the inn was very helpful. After arriving, we were served matcha and admired the beautiful garden, which made us feel very luxurious. The dishes were accompanied by cute illustrations, which made us feel happy. Everyone was very kind and taught us about the mountains in detail, which made my mother very happy. I would love to visit again.
