    The accommodation met expectations in terms of service, cleanliness of the facilities and room.

    The service, cleanliness of the accommodation and room met expectations and were satisfactory. However, the dinner/breakfast menu felt slightly lacking. The "Joshu Beef Roast Beef" served at dinner was very delicious, but the appetizers, warm dishes, sashimi, etc., seemed to lack distinctive features in terms of ingredients. The "Japanese-style breakfast buffet" also felt ordinary in content. Overall though, it was a good accommodation.

    For a special 60th b...

    For a special 60th birthday celebration, we decided to indulge a little and reserved a room with an open-air bath. The room was clean, comfortable, and offered an exceptional view. The private open-air bath was fed by natural hot springs, with the perfect temperature for relaxing anytime. The large public bath was spotless, and we enjoyed the snowy scenery from the outdoor bath. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options that made it hard to choose. Freshly fried tempura and even shabu-shabu were available in the morning! Dinner was served in a private room, allowing us to enjoy our course meal without worrying about others around us. The tableware was stylish, and even the chopsticks seemed custom-made—they were so easy to use that we purchased some as souvenirs from the Hotel shop. What stood out most was the excellent service provided by young staff members; their hospitality made this stay at such a wonderful Hotel truly satisfying!

    I had a pleasant solo Onsen trip.

    A well-maintained large public bath where you can enjoy both the Golden and Silver Hot Springs, dinner at the Western-style Ryokan Pinon, and a breakfast buffet utilizing local ingredients—all of these were satisfying. The staff were pleasant, allowing me to relax and enjoy my solo trip without hesitation. Although I felt the washroom in the single room was slightly old, it was functional without any issues. At this price point, the service offers outstanding cost performance. It's also conveniently located near an express bus stop, making access easy; I would like to use it again.

    I enjoyed the room with an open-air bath.

    I researched on this site and stayed at the property. The room was a bit pricey, but it had a spacious living room with a large balcony equipped with a sofa to enjoy the view of Ikaho. Another balcony featured an open-air bath with free-flowing hot spring water and an attached sauna room. The indoor bath could also be used as a cold bath, making it a self-contained relaxation space within the room. The creative cuisine combining Japanese and Western styles was very delicious, and the staff responded politely to our accident, allowing us to have an enjoyable stay. Thank you very much.

    The best hospitality

    As it is a historic onsen town, there are many traditional ryokans lined up, and the property features a refined and clean interior from the entrance, with a luxurious space spread throughout the entire property. The onsen, guest rooms (with private open-air baths), and meals were of excellent quality, providing great satisfaction. However, what was most impressive was the very courteous and kind service provided by all the staff involved, from the attendants at the parking lot, during check-in, room guidance, and meal service, offering the best hospitality. I definitely want to stay again and would like to recommend this property to family and friends. Thank you very much.

    This is a Hotel I would like to repeat.

    This is my second time here. I would like to repeat my visit! The Onsen and the food were, of course, excellent and perfect. The interior was very clean and well-maintained. The staff were very kind and made me feel comfortable.

    Casual and cost-effective Ryokan. Comfortable stay.

    Considering the price for a stay with two meals, this is a Ryokan (Hotel) that can provide sufficient satisfaction. The young staff members are all polite, kind, and respond quickly. While this is expected in the service industry, it was a pleasant experience. The room was renovated and clean, but the internal layout couldn't be changed, so I thought the flow was poor. Meals are served in the same place for both dinner and breakfast. Dinner was a "mountain village kaiseki focusing on local vegetables," and breakfast was a buffet. Among the dinner dishes, the "Joshu beef low-temperature roast sukiyaki style" was delicious, with tender and not greasy meat. The baths switch between men and women in the morning and evening, and you can enjoy two different colors of water at Daikoku no Yu on the 2nd floor and Kissho no Yu on the 8th floor. The open-air bath views are completely different on the 2nd and 8th floors, so a bath on the 8th floor is a must. The parking lot is a bit far, and you have to cross the road in front of the hotel, which is a little inconvenient and slightly dangerous. The staff will guide you. If you want to visit the stone steps street at night or in the morning, it's convenient because the hotel car will take you halfway up the hill (it would be even more appreciated if they provided shuttle service both ways).

    It was a very nice and heartwarming Stays.

    Since I often visit Ikaho, I was unsure which Stays to choose this time, so I opted for this Property to stay with my father and niece after returning from golf. Upon arrival, we were guided, shown the parking area, and our luggage was carried to our Room. I informed them that we would be arriving late as my father injured his leg and we had to stop by a nearby hospital. They expressed concern and kindly prepared a Room closest to the entrance for our private dinner, which was greatly appreciated. 〇 Positive Points - The staff were all heartwarming and provided wonderful service. - The Onsen water was excellent. We enjoyed both the male and female baths as they alternated. - The golden Onsen and silver Onsen on both the 2nd and 8th floors were enjoyable. - The open-air bath on the 8th floor offered a pleasant view of the night scenery and a comfortable breeze. - The quality of the spring water seemed better than other Stays in Ikaho, making my skin feel smoother the next day. - The meals were creatively prepared and delicious. - Breakfast had a wide variety, with plenty of vegetables, which was delightful. - The original dressing was delicious, and I bought two bottles as souvenirs. - The Room was spacious, newly renovated, clean, and comfortable. - There was a charger by the bedside, which was convenient. - The welcome tea and jelly upon arrival were delicious. - I was pleased that the Room's hairdryer was a Refa, allowing me to dry my hair leisurely in the Room instead of the public bath. - The pouch for the key was a nice touch. - The variety of women's half-coats with different patterns from other guests was great. □ Points of Concern - It would have been better if there was a nightlight in the Room for late-night bathroom visits. - The dinner's closing dish of hayashi rice and fatty pork roast was heavy. - The golden Onsen on the 2nd floor was small, making me hesitant to enter when others were using it. - It was disappointing that the landlady's nameko soup ran out quickly, and I missed it. - Choosing breakfast at 8:30 resulted in many items being out of stock. Although the staff would replenish them upon request, it became cumbersome to ask each time, so I gave up. It was disappointing given the variety. Also, those who chose 8:30 were told it would close at 9:30, making it feel rushed and shortening the meal time. The next day, we were lucky to see the sea of clouds and enjoyed a leisurely morning bath before breakfast. (The image is from the restaurant, so the sea of clouds had mostly disappeared.) During checkout, they loaded our luggage into the car, providing attentive service. It was a heartfelt Stays. I would like to visit again. Thank you for your hospitality.

    I reserved a room wi...

    I reserved a room with an open-air bath. The ryokan seemed newly renovated, as both the lobby and the room were very clean! The toilet and bath were also clean, and I was very satisfied! Since I am pregnant and was worried about the large public bath, I chose a room with an open-air bath, and the bath was very clean and comfortable! At night, it was too dark to see the view, but in the morning, the view from the bath was all mountains and it was wonderful! It was very convenient to have the TV on, as I could check the time even from the bath! Thank you for accommodating my pregnancy with the dinner. The menu was more Western-style. Every dish was delicious! I eat a lot, so I regretted not ordering a large portion of rice... just a little... haha. The dressing was delicious, so I chose lemon dressing for breakfast as well! It's a bit of a walk to the Ikaho (Ikaho) stone steps, but I thought it was convenient as there is a convenience store nearby. The staff were all kind and it was great.

    Firstly, the parking lot being far away was inconvenient. We had high expectations for the meals, but they were quite ordinary. The staff were hardworking and pleasant.

    The two-colored Onsen was as expected.

    Attracted by the two-colored Onsen, I made a reservation. The large bath on the 8th floor was spacious and met my expectations. The room was also clean and convenient to use. As for the meals, since everyone gave good reviews, I wonder if the standard Kaiseki I chose was of a different grade... It was described as a "local seasonal bounty Kaiseki," but I mistakenly thought it was a "Japanese Kaiseki" (though guests who preferred Western cuisine had the option of dining at a sister property). There were a few fusion dishes, and the local grilled salmon was a bit dry, and the pork dish wasn't particularly juicy. It was disappointing, especially since they had thoughtfully considered the table arrangement. Additionally, it was challenging to request a tea refill in the dining area, as everyone was busy with their own responsibilities and didn't face the guests. However, considering the price for a stay in Ikaho, this might be expected. On the afternoon of our arrival, we were taken to the stone steps street, and we enjoyed the autumn leaves at Kajika Bridge.

    A wonderful Hotel overflowing with hospitality

    I stayed with my mother and aunt on a girls' trip to Ikaho Onsen for the first time. From the smooth guidance of the pick-up car, our expectations were high as we entered the property and were immediately welcomed with a welcome drink and plum jelly. While many places offer commercial sweets, the handmade plum jelly felt elaborate and was elegantly delicious. The room was clean, with amenities well-prepared, and the basket bags and room wear showed a good sense of style. The onsen was also very nice, but the most memorable part was the deliciousness of the food. Each dish was beautifully presented in lovely dishes, with exquisite seasoning, leaving us completely satisfied. The staff working here ranged from young to senior, and everyone was full of hospitality, providing attentive service with smiles, which was impressive. We had enjoyable conversations, and whenever we had questions, they prepared materials and explained everything thoroughly, for which we are truly grateful. It was evident that a lot of effort is put into employee training, and the photos of all the staff working together at the property gave a warm, homey feeling. Thanks to this, it became a memorable and wonderful stay. It is a property I would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

    Three Women Miyoma Trip

    I stayed for one night. The welcome jelly and black soybean tea upon arrival had a refreshing taste. The female staff at check-in provided courteous service. Although there was a notice that the scaffolding for repairs might spoil the view, it was not a problem at all. The Western kaiseki served with chopsticks at Pinon was beautifully presented and very delicious. The nameko mushroom soup the next morning was also a warm gesture. However, it was unfortunate that the large bath on the second floor had many steps, so I had to be careful with my footing, thinking it was dangerous. The four Onsen were pleasant, so I hope they will be renovated. Also, the breakfast buffet might have been late, but the dishes were not plentiful on the plates, and it would be nice if the food was well-stocked at any time. Nevertheless, I liked it very much and might become a repeat visitor. Thank you.

    It was a wonderful anniversary.

    I stayed here for an anniversary with my girlfriend. The service was attentive, and the atmosphere made it easy to ask questions and have conversations, making it a comfortable stay. The facilities felt a bit old, but they were well-cleaned, so it didn't bother me. The bread sold in the lobby was also delicious. It was an accommodation that made me want to stay again.

    Not recommended for female guests.

    While I was in the women's bath during a quiet time past 10 PM, two men entered without washing their bodies and soaked in the bath for about 20 minutes, wandering around. Fortunately, I was in the outdoor bath and it seemed they didn't notice me, but I was very scared thinking about what might happen if they did, or if there were cameras set up in the changing room. The men's behavior seemed habitual. The hotel staff did not come to patrol, so I cannot recommend using the women's large bath. When I inquired with the hotel, they asked, "What should we do?" which was disappointing in terms of their response. A fun trip turned into a terrible experience.
