    "Five Senses" is amazing.

    Yoshiyume always offers exceptional hospitality, including the Sky Garden Bath, but this time we enjoyed a meal at the grill restaurant "Gokan." While dining at "Aun" is also delightful, the dishes at "Gokan" were truly impressive, featuring almost exclusively local ingredients such as fresh seafood and beef, all freshly prepared. We opted for a quality-over-quantity course, but the portions were more than sufficient and thoroughly satisfying. We look forward to visiting again.

    Couple's Short Trip

    The most memorable p...

    The most memorable part was the incredibly delicious dinner. Every dish was carefully prepared, and each one was both beautiful and tasty. Having a private room for our family allowed us to enjoy a relaxing meal, which was highly appreciated! The breakfast buffet was, of course, also delicious! We had many interactions with staff members from overseas, all of whom were kind and spoke beautiful Japanese—truly admirable. Naturally, the other staff members were also wonderful with their warm smiles and friendly service wherever we met them. However, about the bath... While the Onsen itself was excellent, it felt like it might be visible to fishermen nearby, which made it hard to fully relax. Since we visited specifically to enjoy a leisurely soak in the Onsen, this aspect was a bit disappointing. Additionally, as a tourist destination, there seems to be little else besides Kamogawa Sea World for entertainment. I hope the local government can work together to further develop the area! It’s such a wonderful accommodation that I hope it continues for many years. Thank you very much for your hospitality!

    First visit.

    The Onsen was great, and the meals were delicious. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making our stay pleasant. However, during dinner, I requested a glass of cold water, but the glass brought to me had a very unpleasant smell. I asked for it to be replaced (the male staff member wearing a mask). When he brought the replacement glass, he smiled and asked if it smelled bad but left without responding further after placing the glass down. (My companion mentioned that he seemed upset.) Unfortunately, we had some issues with one of the foreign staff members. (I work with people from dozens of countries in my company and have no prejudice whatsoever.) At breakfast, when we entered the dining area on the right side where guests were already eating, I asked a foreign male staff member at the entrance about seating availability. He told us to sit wherever we liked in an available spot. However, there weren’t any open seats on that side as we wandered around looking for one. When I asked if it was okay to sit on the left side instead since there were tables there too, he said that window-side seats were taken but directed us to other spots on that side instead. It would have been helpful if he had suggested sitting on the left from the beginning since those seats were available. Despite these minor inconveniences, my companion mentioned wanting to visit again someday—we look forward to returning. Thank you very much!

    The Best Accommodation

    The room was a renovated Japanese-modern style on the 8th floor. It had an ocean view and was beautiful. There was Biwa jelly chilled in the refrigerator, showing thoughtful attention to detail, which made us very satisfied. Meals were enjoyed at Ryotei Aun, where the attentive service and excellent cuisine left us extremely pleased. Everything we had was delicious beyond words. Breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, all so tasty that we ended up overeating. The crème brûlée pudding was especially delightful. This is an accommodation we would love to stay at again when visiting Kamogawa.

    A Favorite Hotel to Stay in Kujukuri

    This time, I stayed with my niece and enjoyed a relaxing time. As always, the warm hospitality was exceptional! I only requested breakfast, and as usual, it was delicious! The rooftop open-air bath is amazing! The expansive view of the Pacific Ocean and watching the sunset from the Room was truly moving.

    A wonderful accommodation where adults can enjoy even with children.

    The meals were absolutely delicious! The abalone was exceptional, and the portions were very satisfying. The half-buffet style allowed us to adjust the amount we ate, making it appealing to a wide range of age groups. The service was well-timed and made our stay comfortable. High chairs for children, both for infants and toddlers, were thoughtfully provided. The room was safe for children, and moving the bed closer to the wall allowed our child to sleep soundly with Child Sharing Existing Bedding. Although the water facilities and Onsen are slightly dated, efforts have been made to maintain cleanliness. The staff demonstrated excellent hospitality, making our stay pleasant. Despite its older exterior, this accommodation offered a highly satisfying experience. Thank you very much!

    It was a pleasant Onsen!

    The exterior was quite old and surprising, but the interior was well-renovated, making the room comfortable to stay in. The sashimi at dinner was very delicious, though the simmered golden eye snapper had only one piece and lacked richness, which was a bit disappointing. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of dishes, but overall it was underwhelming, so I left early. The large public bath featured soft Onsen water, and the open-air bath was very pleasant. The staff's service was excellent, so only the breakfast was a letdown. Thank you for the hospitality.

    An Accommodation That Cares for Guests

    We, a couple in our 50s, stayed for one night. The room had a jacuzzi, but we only used it once. Since we prefer quiet environments and are not fond of noisy settings with small children or large groups, we chose an accommodation where dinner is served in the room. It was nice to enjoy a relaxing meal together. We had informed the staff in advance about wanting to do handheld fireworks, and on the day of our stay, they provided everything from buckets and lighters to handling the firework waste. It became a wonderful summer memory for us.

    Mesmerizing Ocean View

    I reserved an ocean-view room. I was able to relax and enjoy the view of the sea both from the room and the large public bath. It was an incredibly luxurious experience. Both dinner and breakfast were sumptuous and delicious. This accommodation is a paradise for seafood lovers.

    Dining area, rooftop open-air bath, and excellent staff service!

    Gifted a one-night stay at a Ryokan in Kamogawa to my daughter's family who visited from Tokyo. They enjoyed their meal in a private room, and both the parents and kids were very satisfied with the food. Watching fireworks during dinner made it even more special. The rooftop open-air bath was also very relaxing. When I dropped them off at the Ryokan entrance, I noticed how hardworking and attentive the staff were, leaving a great impression. We're now considering staying there as a couple next time. Thank you!

    A relaxing Hotel.

    We traveled with my mother, who has dementia, and having dinner in the room allowed us to relax without worrying about bathroom issues. The room was beautifully renovated in 2023, making it very pleasant. Previously, we stayed in a special suite, but this time the experience was just as wonderful. Having meals served in the room was truly helpful since large crowds can make her uneasy. This trip was planned to coincide with a fireworks event, and luckily the weather cooperated so we could enjoy watching them safely. Since my mother rarely goes out, being able to see fireworks up close made this trip memorable for her—even though she forgets quickly! Showing her videos of the fireworks helps her recall memories of the Hotel. We hope to secure a reservation again next year and visit as three family members together. Two years ago, we also stayed here; although she forgets most things now due to dementia, she remembered staying at your Hotel when checking into the lobby this time—recalling even who accompanied us back then! This made us feel that it’s truly an excellent accommodation because otherwise she wouldn’t remember at all (laughs). Next time we’ve booked for celebrating my uncle and aunt’s special occasion. We apologize if there are any inconveniences caused during our stay and thank you for your understanding!

    The food was excellent.

    I decided to stay at this accommodation after finding some free time during the Obon holiday and reading the reviews. The food was absolutely delicious, and I found myself enjoying more drinks during dinner. The seafood was fresh, and the intricate appetizers were also outstanding. Although it was a short time, I got to enjoy fireworks at night, making it a fulfilling summer trip even with just a one-night stay. It would have been nice if the onsen was open a bit later, which was a slight disappointment, but overall, I was very satisfied. I hope to visit again with my entire family next time.

    Adequate towels are provided.

    The bath and meals were excellent, but only one set of bath towels per person was provided in the room, and no towels were available in the public bath. When going to the onsen, we had to bring the bath towel from the room. Typically, at an onsen accommodation, guests bathe three times: before dinner, before bed, and the next morning. However, after using the towel once, it remained wet, making it inconvenient to use again. When I mentioned this to the front desk, they provided a new towel, but it would be more convenient and comfortable if fresh bath towels were readily available in the public bath area. This is not a budget accommodation like Dormy Inn, but a proper onsen ryokan with a corresponding price. Such minor inconveniences should not cause dissatisfaction among onsen-loving guests. The meals were excellent, which made this issue all the more disappointing.

    I was very satisfied.

    We visited with four friends to relax! This time, we reserved a bedroom and stayed two people per room. The room was clean, had a sofa, and was very comfortable! Additionally, the TV allowed access to Netflix and Amazon Prime if you logged in, so the internet environment was excellent! For meals, we enjoyed a teppanyaki course at GOKAN. Unfortunately, we were too full to finish the last serving of meat. The seasoning was not too strong, and salt was served separately so you could adjust it to your liking—this was a nice touch! We definitely want to stay here again.

    It was amazing!

    This was our third visit, and we brought family along. As always, we enjoyed soaking in the Onsen, had a delicious breakfast, and felt refreshed.

    The large public bath was located on the upper floor of the Room.

    I upgraded to a spacious room on the 8th floor with a great view. When I tried to sleep around 11 PM, I heard footsteps from above. It turned out that the public bath was directly above my room. The footsteps continued until midnight when the public bath closed, and then there was noise from what seemed like a vacuum or some kind of machinery. The machine noise finally stopped around 1 or 2 AM, and I was able to sleep at last. However, in the morning, I woke up early due to footsteps from upstairs again—it seems bathing starts at 5 AM. It ended up being a trip with insufficient sleep. The room and meals were excellent, but the footsteps from upstairs were disappointing... Next time I reserve accommodation, I'll make sure to consider floor levels and facility layouts—lesson learned!

    Family Trip

    We stayed for one night as a group of three: my parents in their 70s and myself. Our goal was to relax without doing anything and enjoy delicious food, so we chose this accommodation, which is about an hour's drive away. We were looking forward to the cuisine and the onsen. When we made the reservation, we knew it wasn’t a newly built accommodation, and since it was a weekday, we thought it wouldn’t be too crowded. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a welcome drink and experienced the rare kindness of the staff’s hospitality these days—it allowed us to truly relax. The room was clean and comfortable. The meals featured fresh fish that was incredibly delicious; they served warm dishes one by one so that we could savor them at our own pace. They also accommodated allergies perfectly, allowing us to enjoy everything without worry. The onsen wasn’t crowded at all, so I could take my time soaking in it—though there were so few people that I felt slightly uneasy and kept glancing around while bathing (laughs). The open-air bath was pleasant as well; however, it was unfortunate that the weather wasn’t great during our stay. Breakfast left us full and satisfied as well! We achieved our goal of spending time leisurely to our heart’s content. Lately, I’ve mostly been staying at business hotels or city hotels where there isn’t much interaction with hotel staff—but this experience reminded me how nice such personal touches can be once in a while. It left an impression that many young staff members worked here—all of whom were very kind—and made this trip heartwarming. If given another opportunity, I would love to stay here again. Thank you very much!

    I was disappointed w...

    I was disappointed with the room in the annex without an elevator. As a senior, I wish I had been informed of this situation at the time of Reservation. The steep stairs were exhausting to navigate. However, the staff's service was excellent.

    Delicious cuisine and an amazing panoramic bath.

    We stayed as a group of five. We enjoyed a variety of seafood dishes for two hours. The abalone sashimi surprised the children. The scenic bath offered a great view of the sea, allowing us to relax.

    Quite disappointing despite the holiday.

    During the holiday period, we understand that prices can be nearly double the usual rate, but we were surprised by the small portions of lobster and abalone, which were barely enough for two people to share. While we understand there may be a limited number of staff, the half-self-service system was unexpected. We had high expectations due to the lovely name of the establishment but were left disappointed.

    The Onsen with an open-air bath is not shown in the Room photos, so please take note.

    Stayed for 1 night, 2 days during Golden Week with 2 adults and 1 young child for ¥130,000 due to good reviews. Be cautious as the room introduction photos misleadingly show a private Onsen bath attached to the room. Instead, they use photos of the public bath in the room description. I felt deceived. Upon entering the Room, there were food crumbs and hair on the sofa. The "private Onsen" was just a regular jacuzzi. The floor in the changing area was rotting with large gaps and felt unstable—dangerous enough to cause injury. The shower stopped running intermittently while in use, causing frustration. The floor was moldy, blinds were soaked with water, and squashed mosquitoes stuck to walls and ceilings in the changing area. The course meal: The lobster was no bigger than a crayfish. Every dish lacked effort; even tuna was full of sinew—nothing tasted good at all. It seemed like defrosted frozen food served as-is. Although there’s a chef's name on the menu, it didn’t feel like it came from an actual professional chef. You’d be better off finding a nearby restaurant instead. Toilet issues: It barely flushed properly; even flushing toilet paper required significant effort. Bedroom issues: Lighting fixtures were covered in dust. Morning aftermath: My child woke up covered in bites with itching all over their body. I genuinely don’t understand how this place has received good reviews. You’ll spend money and time only to create unpleasant memories. Absolutely not recommended!

    The view is spectacular.

    You can enjoy a relaxing view of the ocean from both the room and the large public bath, including the open-air bath. The meals were plentiful and very delicious. All the staff were kind, making it an accommodation you won't want to leave.

    The view is excellent.

    We stayed as a family. We used the Japanese-Western style room on the top floor. The view was excellent, and the room was clean. The exterior shows its age, but the interior was relatively well-maintained. Meals were served in a private dining area, and they were very delicious and satisfying. Breakfast was also enjoyable. The bath offers a great view, but its size is average. The open-air bath is quite small, so it might feel crowded during busy times. As for facilities inside the accommodation, if anything, the elevators are narrow and few in number, which could result in longer waiting times depending on usage conditions. Upon arrival for our first visit, we drove up to the front of the accommodation by car; however, there is a step that might cause concern about scraping your car's aero parts. Although I haven't lowered my car's height specifically, my family mentioned it was very close to scraping. If you're worried about this issue, you can park at an adjacent contracted parking lot and bring your parking ticket with you instead—it seems like a better option. Consulting with them beforehand could also be helpful!

    A very comfortable Room

    Traveled with my daughter and her family. The room was spacious enough and perfectly suited for two families. It was convenient to have TVs in two rooms. The bath was nice, but the smaller one felt a bit inconvenient. The meals were delicious, but the portions were too large. Especially for children's meals, I think the portion sizes could be reconsidered. The desserts and coffee at the breakfast buffet were not very tasty. However, the staff at the Hotel provided excellent service, and overall, we were very satisfied with our stay.

    Meals were served in the Room, allowing for a calm and leisurely dining experience, and they were very delicious. The bath offered a great view, with beautiful stars visible at night. However, it was slightly inconvenient to change clothes in the dressing room before heading to the open-air bath. Other than that, everything was well-maintained and clean, and the Room was very tidy. The stunning ocean view right in front of us made for a truly wonderful stay.

    We had a luxurious time.

    It was quite far, taking 2 hours and 20 minutes by car from the city center, but Kamogawa Bay was sparkling and beautiful, providing a soothing experience. I spent time in the open-air bath with a view of the sunset alongside another solo guest. Since solo reservations do not include dinner, I planned to visit a nearby Japanese restaurant, but unfortunately, it was their day off. This left me struggling to find dinner options and eventually resorting to buying food at a convenience store—turning what could have been an enjoyable trip into a slightly disappointing experience. It would be wonderful if meals could be prepared on a reservation basis at your restaurant for times when there are no dining options nearby. The room offered stunning ocean views as well, and I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast buffet while gazing at the calm morning sea. I thought to myself how rare it is in life to enjoy breakfast with such an incredible view of the ocean—it truly felt like luxury! Thank you for allowing me such a relaxing stay. I look forward to visiting again!

    Family Trip Across Three Generations in Boso

    This trip was a three-generation family journey to celebrate my daughter's 20th birthday and to honor my father's long years of hard work as he finally gets to relax. We were looking for an accommodation where different generations could enjoy their time together, and we decided to stay at Yoshiyume. We were truly very satisfied with both the room and the food.
