I had a zazen meditation experience and tried shakyo (Buddhist sutra copying). It was very relaxing. The zazen session was mainly for international guests, but I still enjoyed it and found it a great experience. They kindly mailed me the shakyo materials they had forgotten to give me, along with a letter—thank you very much. I was able to relax at such a thoughtful Accommodation. I also received a leaflet map of the temple district, but I didn’t have enough time to visit many temples, so next time I’d like to set aside more time for that as well.

It was my first stay, and I truly felt glad to have chosen this accommodation. Although it was a sudden decision for a no meals included stay, I was extremely satisfied. The moment I stepped into the accommodation, the scent of incense and the tranquil atmosphere immediately soothed me. The entire facility is impeccably clean, and the combination of tatami mats and low beds in the room provided exceptional comfort. The bed, in particular, offered an amazing sleeping experience that completely cleared my daily fatigue. The warm and attentive service from the staff was outstanding, allowing me to relax comfortably even as a solo female traveler. Thanks to its quiet location slightly away from central Osaka, I enjoyed a hidden retreat-like experience that felt uniquely personal. Next time, I would love to book a multiple night stay and participate in activities like morning rituals. I will definitely return again—thank you so much for your hospitality!
