    The staff members we...

    The staff members were very polite and provided excellent service, which was truly satisfying. Additionally, after checking out, when I was about to take a photo, a male staff member outside kindly offered assistance and took the photo for me. Thank you very much!

    A Historical Accommodation

    The twin smoking Room felt a bit dated, especially the plumbing. However, being able to smoke in the Room was very convenient for my heavy-smoker husband. As a woman, I appreciated that the large public bath offered Kose Predia and Lux shampoo and conditioner. It would leave an even better impression if more effort were put into amenities in the changing area. The location of the Hotel was perfect for taking walks around the area.

    I had a relaxing time.

    The Room was clean, and the large public bath was not crowded, allowing for a relaxing time. This content is more than satisfactory for this price.

    First Trip to Kochi

    For my first trip to Kochi, I chose Sansuien. It is within walking distance to Kochi Castle and Hirome Market, and you can also take the tram, making it very convenient for sightseeing. Although I checked in at 7 PM this time, the hotel staff greeted me at my car. Everyone from the front desk staff to those at the breakfast venue and even those passing by in the hallway greeted me with a smile, which was very heartwarming. The meals were served as a breakfast buffet featuring Tosa's specialty dishes, all of which were delicious. While it takes a short walk from the room to reach the bath area, strolling while looking at photos along the way made it enjoyable and not bothersome. The bed in the room is slightly low but seems more suitable for families with small children. It was a very comfortable trip to Kochi. I didn’t know that the hotel's entrance gate is Nagaya-mon built by Yodo Yamauchi of Tosa Domain and designated as an Important Cultural Property of Japan. I would love to stay here again when I visit Kochi next time. Thank you!

    During Golden Week with the kids

    Stayed during the middle of Golden Week with a total of 3 people, including a child. The bath was very clean, and the open-air bath was very relaxing. The parking lot and staff inside the Ryokan were extremely kind, offering assistance such as carrying luggage, which made us feel their great hospitality. However, there were some disappointments. Guests are supposed to choose their own yukata and bring it to the Room, but this was not explained at check-in. We only realized this after going to our Room and noticing there were no yukatas, so we had to go back to the front desk. Additionally, while towels, toothbrushes, and even cushions were prepared for 3 people, there were only 2 sets of yukatas, sashes, and jackets provided for some reason. We had to go back to the front desk again for these items. I understand it must have been extremely busy during Golden Week; however, I deducted one star because of this issue. As for breakfast buffet options—having more kid-friendly menu items would have been nice. That said, it is an excellent Ryokan with clean Rooms and restrooms; we were very satisfied overall! Thank you so much!

    Staff are well-trained.

    From the moment we arrived at the Hotel by car, unloaded our luggage, and checked in, several Hotel staff members assisted us with bright smiles and a cheerful attitude. Thanks to their smooth and stress-free service, all three couples were able to settle into their respective Rooms comfortably. I chose this Hotel because of my time spent in Kochi during my student days, and I was relieved that the other couples were also highly satisfied with their stay.

    Thank you for having a wonderful New Year!

    All the staff were courteous and warm, allowing us to have a very pleasant time. The meals were luxurious and delicious, and the Room and the facilities were clean and comfortable. The bingo tournament was also a lot of fun. If I have the opportunity to visit Kochi Prefecture again, I would like to use this place.

    I think the service is good.

    The Room and building had an old Showa-era feel, but all the staff had a good attitude towards customer service. The breakfast had a wide variety, tasted good, and was reasonably priced, so I would like to use it again.

    Everything was great.

    All the staff members were courteous and warm in their service. The meals were delicious, and the Room and the entire facility were clean and comfortable. I would like to visit again.

    Three-generation family trip

    We used Sansuien for our three-generation family trip this time. Although it was unfortunately raining on the first day, thanks to Sansuien, we were greatly assisted with parking the car outside of hours and bringing in our luggage. Additionally, my elderly parents were very pleased with the private room for dinner. The course was more than we could eat, but they were very satisfied, saying, "This is what we wanted to do." They were a little concerned about the low height of the beds, but the Japanese-style room was very clean, and the view from the window was excellent. With Hirome Market and the Sunday Market nearby, it was a memorable and wonderful trip for the whole family. Thank you for the heartfelt hospitality.
