  A Fun Family Trip to Ise

  For this trip, we chose to stay at Toba Kotoran, near Ise Jingu, because we could ride a limousine with our family of three. From Toba to the Hotel, we were delighted to be taken by limousine. The Room was spacious, relaxing, and comfortable. Also, the Room had a semi-open-air bubble bath, allowing us to enjoy a leisurely and pleasant bath. Additionally, my wife and child mentioned that the women's bath on the first floor had bathing suits, which was nice. The meals were generally warm, but we enjoyed them. [If one warm dish could be replaced with a cold one, I think it would allow for a more leisurely dining experience.] The room attendant was efficient and served the dishes promptly. Since I thought Toba was a fishing port, I would have been happier if there were a bit more sashimi.

  One of the pleasures...

  One of the pleasures of travel, the food, was disappointing. It was a trip from Osaka. The flavors were so strong that I felt the need for water. There were some dishes I wished to eat as they were, without any alterations.
