    Satisfied

    This was my first time staying here. The view of the Seto Ohashi Bridge and the islands of the Seto Inland Sea was wonderful. The meals were plentiful and delicious. I would love to stay here again.

    Air conditioning out of order

    The view from the bath was great, but the Room's air conditioning seemed to be malfunctioning or not working well, making it difficult to sleep at night.

    That's unfortunate.

    A splendid Hotel, but is the price based on the view? The only positives were the view and the service of the senior staff at the breakfast venue. The Room seemed newly renovated and was clean, but the cleaning quality was... lacking. I appreciated being upgraded to a better Room, but unfortunately, even with that, I felt a dark atmosphere throughout the Hotel. The front desk staff also left something to be desired. Additionally, in the public bath area, I found myself questioning if the hairdryer was a toy due to its lack of power. I had to return to my Room and use my own hairdryer just to dry my hair properly. For such an impressive Hotel in this day and age, this kind of hairdryer feels unacceptable.

    Thank you for the excellent service provided by all the staff.

    The Seto Inland Sea and the Seto Ohashi Bridge were beautifully visible right in front. The bath was clean and comfortable. The delicate and beautiful Japanese course dinner we had was excellent, along with the service. All the staff were cheerful, and their courteous hospitality warmed our hearts. I would love to stay again.

    Comfortable.

    The view is absolutely stunning. The Room is clean, and the bed is close to that of a luxury Hotel, making it very comfortable. It has been renovated, but areas like the washroom show some age. The public bath was smaller than expected. The drinking water near the public bath was not cold. Breakfast was an ordinary buffet—neither particularly good nor bad—but having a wide variety of dishes was nice. Service from staff was proper and professional. There seemed to be no room service; there were no restaurant details in the Room either. It would be great if there were a bar on the top floor where you could enjoy drinks with a night view or even an observation deck on the rooftop! Above all, the scenery here is truly one-of-a-kind; it's just unfortunate that it was cloudy during my stay. I didn’t have dinner here, so I can’t comment on that aspect. There were many tourists from China—it felt almost like being in another country—and large groups made it quite lively, which might not suit those who prefer quieter environments.

    A Hotel with Stunning Views You'll Never Want to Look Away From

    A Hotel with a stunning view located at the foot of the Seto Ohashi Bridge. Enjoy a Setouchi Kaiseki dinner while admiring the illuminated bridge, and breakfast at the 9th-floor restaurant is also delightful. The view of Seto Inland Sea and Shikoku from the open-air bath was excellent.

    I am very satisfied....

    I am very satisfied. However, the information and operation of the Shuttle Service were insufficient. Also, while the bath and open-air bath were wonderful, the indoor bath was relatively small, which might be uncomfortable if crowded.

    Stayed for one night...

    Stayed for one night during Golden Week. The view from the room overlooking the Seto Ohashi Bridge was spectacular, and the dinner at Paul Blanc was exceptionally delicious. Great value for money, with first-class views and restaurant dining—truly a memorable and wonderful accommodation.

    I have visited Washu...

    I have visited Washuzan Highland about five times, but this was my first time staying at this accommodation. Until now, I had only used it for lunch. We came from Hyogo Prefecture with the purpose of relaxing nearby. The amusement park is close by, and the location is perfect with the Seto Ohashi Bridge right in front of us. For dinner, we chose Japanese cuisine. Chef Kinoshita's dishes were truly outstanding and made me want to stay here again. The seafood platter featuring octopus, Spanish mackerel, and tuna offered surprising textures; the shrimp dumpling soup delighted my palate; and the spice salt and balsamic sauce accompanying the Nagi Wagyu steak were delicious. The spring-flavored Spanish mackerel hot pot with bamboo shoots was so tasty that I drank all the broth. The final dish of sea bream rice had a refined flavor, and even down to the pickles and dessert, everything was highly satisfying. I appreciated that I could adjust the water temperature in the bath area to be hotter—it suited me perfectly. The 11 a.m. checkout time was also very convenient, allowing us to relax as intended during our stay. With breathtaking views of Seto Ohashi Bridge and surrounding islands changing from morning to afternoon to evening right before our eyes, it was truly healing. I will definitely visit again!

    It was excellent.

    Excellent location. You can see the Seto Ohashi Bridge and the sunset from the seats in the dining area (Japanese cuisine), and the food was very delicious. The Seto Ohashi Bridge is also visible from the large public bath, and cherry blossom petals floating in the outdoor bath added a touch of elegance. (Some guests from overseas tours were wearing shoes or slippers in the changing room, so please consider providing explanations or notices.) The night cherry blossoms around the hotel were beautiful, offering great views everywhere. This time, I made a reservation to visit Washuzan Highland (which is very close), but next time I would love to stay at this wonderful hotel just for its own sake.

    The view is outstanding.

    The Room offered a stunning view of the Seto Ohashi Bridge, and the scenery was exceptional. We had dinner at the Western-style restaurant on the top floor and were very satisfied. The staff's hospitality was excellent, making it a wonderful trip. Thank you very much. We will visit again.

    The Western cuisine was great!

    During my visit, I usually enjoy Japanese cuisine for dinner, but this time I tried the upgraded course as I had previously enjoyed the Western dishes. The wine selection, such as Okayama wine, was no longer available; instead, cocktails were on the menu. I tried one and found it quite good. The appetizers offered a variety of cold and warm dishes with light and rich flavors. While not surprising, they were filling. The main dish of sautéed sea bream with herb-infused soup was delicious—I even soaked bread in it to finish every drop. The roasted Wagyu beef with red wine and miso sauce was also excellent. Although I usually prefer meat dishes seasoned simply with salt, this red wine sauce complemented the dish perfectly. Additionally, the mashed potatoes served alongside seemed to have a hint of citrus flavoring that made them particularly enjoyable. I have two suggestions for improving dinner service: 1. Please bring back the warmed stone-lined bread container that kept bread warm—it used to be used here and is still utilized at Limani in Ushimado during breakfast. 2. Considering the price point of dinner, replacing coffee creamer with warmed milk would be a nice touch. For breakfast, I appreciated having grilled sea bream along with an array of side dishes perfect for rice lovers like me. However, I'd recommend making guests more aware of where ice cream is served—it’s currently easy to overlook despite being wonderfully chilled in metal cups. As always, the ocean view remains stunningly beautiful. Alongside Limani in Ushimado, this property continues to impress me with its breathtaking scenery and excellent cuisine!

    The Seto Ohashi Brid...

    The Seto Ohashi Bridge spreads out before your eyes, and it was truly wonderful. It takes less than an hour to reach Kurashiki town with just a little over 300 yen for the highway toll. If staying overnight, I think this place might be better than staying in town. Looking forward to visiting again.

    The front desk staff...

    The front desk staff and the dining staff were all very pleasant, and despite our sudden changes and requests, they kindly accommodated us, for which we are truly grateful. The view from the Room and the open-air bath was spectacular, and the dinner, featuring delicate dishes made with seasonal ingredients, was absolutely delicious. We used the facility as a three-generation family, from young adults in their 20s to an elderly mother, and everyone was extremely satisfied, making it a delightful trip. Thank you very much.

    It was a wonderful Property.

    The view was simply breathtaking, with the Seto Ohashi Bridge below and a panoramic view of the islands in the Seto Inland Sea. Dinner was delicious, and the bed, though firm (great for those with back pain), provided a pleasantly soft and comfortable sleep. The dried sea bream served at breakfast, split in half and lightly grilled, was a rare treat, neither too hard nor too soft, and absolutely delightful. Although the Wi-Fi occasionally disconnected during peak traffic hours, overall, we had a truly wonderful and satisfying stay.

    A comfortable Hotel where you can feel hospitality.

    I stayed on New Year's Eve and felt the hospitality with the serving of toshikoshi soba and the distribution of mochi on New Year's Day. There was also a free tour for the first sunrise and first shrine visit of the year, which I participated in. The tour went to a shrine in Shimotsui along the coast, where I could see the sunrise behind the Seto Ohashi Bridge. It was a place that only locals seem to visit, so it was a valuable experience. The view of the Seto Inland Sea from the Room was wonderful, and there is also an open-air bath, so I would like to visit again.

    The view is amazing!

    The view from the Room on the 6th floor was excellent, with a beautiful sight of the Seto Ohashi Bridge and the islands. From the open-air bath, we could see the stars, which was very satisfying. The breakfast buffet was slightly lacking, but considering it is aimed at families going to the amusement park, it was within an acceptable range. Overall, we were satisfied.

    Stunning location

    There are other properties in the area, but this hotel is located at the highest point, offering the best 360-degree views. After checking in, I mentioned that I was concerned about the smell in the room, and they promptly changed my room. I would like to use it again.

    Satisfied with dinner.

    It was built on a hill and had a very good view. It was unfortunate that the restaurant was crowded, and we couldn't start eating until after 8 o'clock. I think there needs to be some other measures considered. However, the content of the meal was very good. For me, even just the appetizers were enough to fill me up. Of course, the main course was also substantial, so I was able to enjoy a satisfying meal at the Hotel for the first time in a while. The bath was nice with a spacious open-air bath, but the indoor bath and changing room felt cramped. Also, there was one place in the washing area where the hot water didn't come out.

    On the second night of dinner, the soup was served before the oshibori, and although I ordered an aperitif, the bread and other dishes arrived first, which was disappointing. On the first day, butter for the bread was provided, but on the second day, it was not brought until I asked. I also didn't know that it was possible to get a refill of bread on the first day, but I realized it when I saw others ordering it. The food was very delicious, so I was quite disappointed. I had dinner for consecutive nights during my Multiple Night Stay, and I enjoyed it very much. Thank you.
