    Thank you for your patronage.

    Although it is located on a hill, it was a luxurious open-air bath that felt like having Mount Fuji all to yourself. The staff were very kind, and they even accommodated our request to make rice balls from the leftover rice, which was much appreciated. The entrance of the Hotel is on a very steep slope, so if you reserve the shuttle service, you can be picked up and dropped off. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

    You can enjoy a great view of Mt. Fuji!

    Stayed for the first time in mid-October last year. This was my second stay. During my previous stay, despite the bad weather, I was moved by the view of Mt. Fuji changing through the gaps in the clouds, visible from the room, the open-air bath, and the dining area! This time, on the way back from Kanagawa Prefecture, I decided to stay one night at New Hakkeien. However, my schedule was not decided until the last minute, and I was lucky to find a room available at the last moment. On January 14th, the weather was clear in Kanagawa Prefecture, and I could see a beautiful Mt. Fuji, but from the summit of Omuroyama, which I visited in the afternoon, Mt. Fuji was hazy, perhaps because the weather was too good. However, when I arrived at New Hakkeien after 4:00 PM, I was delighted to see a clear view of Mt. Fuji. I was also pleased that the room had a better view of Mt. Fuji than last time. I could see Mt. Fuji well from the open-air bath and kept gazing at it. With such a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji, delicious food, and attentive staff who offered to take pictures of my husband and me during meals, and who quickly carried my husband's luggage to the car the next morning, I had a pleasant stay. The room was comfortable too. (Although the next morning was cloudy, and I couldn't see Mt. Fuji at all...) With Mt. Fuji visible up close from the room and delicious meals, I think this price is a great value. I would definitely like to use it again on my way back from Kanagawa. Thank you for your hospitality.

    I was healed!

    Starting with the parking staff, to the front desk, dining area, and farewell... the staff we encountered were truly wonderful! The view of Mount Fuji from the Room and the panoramic bath was beautiful, allowing us to spend the New Year in a refreshing mood. The dinner was lavishly prepared with high-quality ingredients, which delighted my son. A calm and pleasant time flowed, and we ended up staying longer than expected. At the breakfast buffet's live kitchen, the staff were always engaging, making it lively and easy to order. This time, we used the facilities for four people, and it was convenient to have hand towels and toothbrushes prepared in four different colors. It was a Hotel we would like to use again when visiting Izu Nagaoka. Thank you very much.

    It was my first time using it, and I was very satisfied.

    I have stayed at Nagaoka Onsen many times before, but this was my first time staying at Hakkeien. The meals, onsen facilities, scenery, and customer service were the best I've experienced so far. If I have the opportunity, I would love to stay again.

    I made a last-minute stay for business on the same day.

    Stayed with No Meals Included. Since it is an annex, you need to go back and forth on a steep slope to use the main building's bath. The Onsen on the top floor was the best, as you can bathe while gazing at Mt. Fuji.

    Stays at a separate villa for two generations

    This time, I was able to take a sudden break, so we made a last-minute stay with 9 people from two generations. The 6LDK room was spacious enough, and with three open-air baths, the family was delighted. Since we had small children, the separate villa was specially isolated from other rooms, allowing us to relax without worrying about noise. However, the room is only accessible by stairs, which might be tough for the elderly. We added options like abalone, Ise lobster, and golden eye snapper to our meals, so we were very full. The view of Mt. Fuji from the open-air bath in the large public bath of this property is the best, so even though the property is not new and the service is not particularly outstanding, considering the ease of access from the city center, we were overall satisfied. We will visit again if we can all take a break together. It would be even better if the separate villa offered late check-out and in-room dining.

    Stays with a Spectacular View of Mt. Fuji

    Stayed on November 24th (Sunday). I checked in after dark and was worried if I could see Mt. Fuji the next day, but the next morning, even though it was a separate room, I could see Mt. Fuji while lying down. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. Above all, the view of Mt. Fuji from the open-air bath was wonderful, and I ended up taking a long bath for the first time in a while. The view from the entrance was also excellent, and I left with a heavy heart, feeling reluctant to leave the Property. The separate room with a semi-open-air bath was quiet and very reasonable. Thank you very much.

    Onsen is the best!

    It was my first time in Izu Nagaoka, and I went with my child. Unfortunately, due to the cloudy and light rainy weather, we couldn't see Mt. Fuji, but we had a great time. Since the pick-up from the station is scheduled at specific times, we took a taxi. It would be nice if there was a pick-up service available even before check-in. The staff were warm and kind, making us feel relaxed. The meals were plentiful, and the children's meals were luxurious and delicious, allowing them to eat a lot! It was disappointing that the mist sauna in the Onsen wasn't operating, but the open-air bath was fantastic, allowing us to soak leisurely with a great view. Everything felt better in person than in the photos we saw beforehand. Even though the building is old, it was well-cleaned, and the amenities were well-provided. We enjoyed riding the ropeway that was recommended to us and taking walks in the mountains, which was very refreshing and satisfying. I definitely want to come again. Thank you!
