  The level of service was high, and it was a Stays with high satisfaction.

  On 11/23, thank you for your hospitality. The third installment of our 40th wedding anniversary plan. It was the second night of our 2-night, 3-day trip, visiting the famous onsens of Gunma, from Shima Onsen to Ikaho Onsen. Although we have visited Ikaho several times, it was our first time at Omori, and while we had expectations and a bit of anxiety, we were pleasantly surprised in a good way. The attentive service unique to a small property, and the relaxation of soaking in the rooftop open-air bath while admiring the mountains of Joshu, was healing. The meals were prepared with such care that both my wife and I were satisfied. Upon departure, both the proprietress and the owner saw us off, and we enjoyed the Mizusawa Udon shop they recommended. Additionally, on the day of our stay, a special feature on "Ikaho" was broadcast on Adomachi, and Omori appeared, with the proprietress also making an appearance, which remains a memorable experience.

We were concerned that you might compare us to the Shima Stays and not be satisfied, but we are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay. As a small property with only 35 rooms, we pride ourselves on recognizing our guests by face and name, allowing us to provide personalized service. Our 30-year-old head chef is dedicated to preparing meals that honor our recognition as a "Superior Local Produce Consumption" property in Gunma.   Wakachin no Stays

  The parking lot is too narrow, accommodating four cars in two rows, so I didn't want to leave my keys and parked at the back. There are no slippers, and it is said that you should walk around the facility barefoot. At first, I thought it couldn't be helped, but I was disappointed to see a Ryokan employee riding the elevator with slightly dirty bare feet. It felt like the front desk staff weren't paying enough attention. I have traveled to places like Shizuoka Prefecture, Mie Prefecture, Kyoto Prefecture, and Osaka Prefecture. Is the level different depending on the region?

  Dear Mr. Kim's Eldest Son, we are truly sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with your stay, despite choosing our property among many Stays. Regarding the parking issue, as Ikaho Onsen is located on the slopes of Mount Haruna, it is difficult to secure a large adjacent parking lot, so we have divided the parking into several locations. Out of the 46 properties, only 3 allow guests to park by themselves. This is partly due to the terrain, but it remains a challenge for us moving forward. We have adopted the style of removing shoes and using tatami mats to provide a sense of returning home, as in "Rai Sha Jo Ki" (来者如帰), a return to Japanese style. However, we will ensure more thorough cleaning and pay attention to the appearance and cleanliness of our staff in the future. Regarding the attentiveness of the front desk, it is our utmost priority to be close to our guests, and it is unacceptable that this was not the case. We sincerely apologize.
