Hida Hotel Plaza

We stayed here for a family trip.We love Hida furniture, and we were delighted with the table and sofa in our Room.For amenities, I wish there had been a towel for washing the body.We only had breakfast, but there were also dishes served in small bowls, which made them easy to pick up.Everything was delicious.It’s a Hotel we would like to stay at again.

We stayed on the first day of Silver Week, and with places fully booked everywhere, this was the Accommodation we finally managed to find. It looked a bit old, and I (rather rudely) assumed it might be a large Hotel geared toward group tours, so I didn’t have high expectations—but you pleasantly proved me wrong. We were truly satisfied, and it was absolutely the right choice! Thank you very much. (And thanks to IKYU as well.)The Room was spacious, and we were able to relax with beautiful Hida furniture. Given the location, I suppose there’s not much that can be done about the view from the window...As for the meals, there was no rigid dinner start time restriction that’s common during busy seasons, so we could take our time at our own pace while enjoying drinks. In particular, the timing of serving freshly fried tempura was truly impressive. Even a family member who is picky about rice said, “The rice in Takayama was really delicious!”This time we ended up staying in Takayama as part of our trip along the way, but next time we’d like to visit again with Takayama as our main destination. When that happens, we hope to stay with you again.
