    Relaxing Accommodation

    This was my first stay, and I was impressed by the warm welcome from the staff. The room provided a relaxing space where I could comfortably stay with my dog, featuring cushion tile flooring that was considerate for pets, which made me very happy. The meals were delicious, and the beautiful tableware added to the enjoyment of dining. The onsen was also excellent, allowing for a relaxing soak. One issue was that Wi-Fi was not available. However, it was still a wonderful experience to relax with my dog in comfort.

    A comfortable Hotel near Osaka where you can stay with your dog.

    The staff's hospitality is exceptional. The meals are delicious, the Room is clean as it was recently renovated, and the bath temperature was just right. It would be perfect if there were a dog run on-site... However, there are several dog-friendly cafes with dog runs nearby that we used instead. Overall, this is a highly recommended Hotel.

    I’m glad I visited.

    We visited Himeji for some errands and decided to stay at an Onsen accommodation with our family of three. The Facility overall felt a bit old, and upon entering the premises via shuttle bus, we were initially worried seeing the worn-out exterior walls. However, the front and interior were well-maintained, which was reassuring. The meal portions might feel insufficient for big eaters, but they were just right for us. The buffet included local dishes, making it an enjoyable experience. The Onsen was truly relaxing and absolutely wonderful. Compared to the photos on IKYU.com, the Room felt smaller than expected; however, it had a great view. We enjoyed complimentary somen noodles that were delicious and also tried some paid sake—though its usage instructions could have been clearer. The display in a black case made us hesitate momentarily about whether we could take it out ourselves or not. In fact, another guest nearby seemed confused about which sake was available as well; clearer signage would be helpful here. After checking out, I realized I had forgotten souvenirs in the fridge and called immediately. As requested, they kindly shipped them to my home via cash-on-delivery cool service promptly. To my surprise upon opening the package at home—they even included welcome sweets we hadn’t eaten during our stay! Their thoughtful gesture left a lasting impression on us—thank you very much!

    The food was delicious, and I had a great night's sleep.

    I recently stayed at a Hotel I had been curious about for some time, and it turned out to be a very satisfying experience. First, the staff were friendly and provided excellent service, making the stay very pleasant. The food was also outstanding, allowing me to enjoy each dish thoroughly. What stood out the most was the environment that ensured a restful sleep. In a quiet and calm atmosphere, I was able to enjoy comfortable sleep after a long time. This is definitely a Hotel I would like to visit again in the future.

    Disappointing despite high expectations.

    We chose this accommodation because it was pet-friendly and labeled as a "Welcome Baby" accommodation, but we wouldn't want to stay here again. The photos on the website raised our expectations, but we were disappointed. While it's understandable that the entrance for guests with pets is separate, upon being guided there and stepping out of the car, there was a strong smell of tobacco. This might be due to the nearby smoking area, but in this day and age, we didn't expect to encounter such a strong tobacco odor. The room was dimly lit with no option to adjust brightness. We wanted some lights on, but turning off one switch would turn off almost all lights in the room. It made putting our child to sleep very difficult; after they fell asleep, my husband and I had to use an emergency flashlight for lighting. A business hotel would have been better than this. The bathroom drainage in the room was poor and water quickly accumulated. There were cobwebs around the room which made it far from clean—being pet-friendly shouldn't mean compromising cleanliness like this! Despite requesting bedding for our child beforehand, none was provided; when we opened what seemed like a closet(?), mattresses and futons were stuffed inside haphazardly—it felt unpleasant just thinking about using them. At least areas visible to guests should be kept tidy and clean! The curtains were thin without blackout or lace options; everything inside could be seen from the dining area outside—it felt uncomfortable staying there at all times. As for breakfast, there were hardly any options suitable for children—what does "Welcome Baby" accommodation even mean?

    This was my first time using this service.

    My mother's friend, a repeat guest, recommended this place to us, and I stayed here for the first time with my mother. We were soothed by the view from the Room and the open-air bath. If I may suggest, while I understand the rotation system for the open-air baths, one side had a hair iron equipped while the other did not. It would be great if both sides had one. The baths and bathrooms were clean and easy to use. Thank you very much!

    A wonderful place

    I was very satisfied. The food was delicious, and the staff were cheerful and pleasant. It made me want to visit again. For bath and Onsen lovers, it’s perfect! There are various baths where you can relax at your own pace. I thoroughly enjoyed my 1-night, 2-day stay.

    First Stays with a Dog

    I had stayed here before and forgotten about it, but when I was looking for a place to stay with my dog, I found a Dog Plan available. It was the beginning of the year, but the desired date was open, so I made a reservation months in advance and was looking forward to it! Good Points ● It was my first stay with my dog, but we had no problems and were comfortable in the room. ● The food was delicious, and the staff in charge of the meals were courteous. ● There was a long bench-like seating area along the wall of the room, with a dining table and two movable chairs. There was also space to place small items and an outlet by the bedside. This space was very convenient, allowing us to place a lot of luggage and charge our devices, making it very user-friendly! Disappointing Points ● There was a false nail on the floor of the room. It seemed to belong to a previous guest, and although I believe it was cleaned, I wish they had checked every corner. ● Men's outdoor bath: A father and daughter from another guest entered, and the daughter did not tie up her long hair, letting it float in the bath as she started swimming. Seeing this, the father said, "This is how you do it, watch!" and started swimming with her, spitting out water onto the walking space without even rinsing it away. This was not an issue with the Ryokan but rather the poor manners of the guests, which was truly unpleasant. ● The attitude of the night shift staff was quite cold. When I went to the front desk around 11 PM, there was no staff, and an older man acting as a substitute was there. His manner of speaking was quite cold. I thought it would be nice if we could take pictures with the dog in the garden on the main building side (since dogs are not allowed on the main building side). I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity. Thank you very much.

    Good Stays Nearby

    Overall, an affordable and good Stays. I use high-class Stays every month, and sometimes to adjust travel expenses, I use the reasonably priced and good Yumenoi. It feels like having dinner and maybe taking a dip in the Onsen. From the open-air bath, you can see a sky full of stars, which is satisfying. The meals are decent and can be eaten normally. I like the dining area because it's spacious. I don't usually eat much at breakfast buffets, so this price is helpful (I generally avoid buffets). It might be rude to categorize, but it's a Stays with value beyond its price. There was a mishap at check-in, but it was properly handled at the time of payment upon departure, which was impressive. It's a Stays that makes me want to repeat next time. There are aspects that are not inferior to the premium Stays I stayed at for two nights in November.

    It was amazing!! We used it for a family gathering this time. There were people who needed care, but we were grateful for the various considerations provided. We were also able to enjoy our meal in a private room with everyone (7 people), which allowed us to relax. The matsutake kaiseki was excellent in taste, appearance, and aroma!! It sparked lively conversations among us all!! We'll definitely come again!!

    I went for a one-night stay with my mother and aunt. I was worried because my aunt is elderly, but the service was perfect, such as bringing a wheelchair immediately upon arrival. The front desk staff were also very nice. However, I was concerned about the dust on the lampshades. I would like to visit again.

    First Trip with Baby and Dog

    We used this property for our first trip with our 9-month-old baby and 4-year-old dog. We were very grateful for the assistance in arranging the rental of baby goods via SNS DM in advance. Although the property is located in the mountains, the sky was high, the mountains were beautiful, and the air was fresh. We couldn't see many stars, but we were very satisfied. Since it was a dog-friendly room, one adult had to stay in the room to watch the baby and the dog while the other visited the main building's shop, enjoyed free drinks, and snacks. However, this was not a problem. In fact, it was a nice change of pace to explore the property alone and take a break from caregiving. The sukiyaki served in the room was very delicious, and we felt sorry for not being able to finish it. The private bath was very clean, and although we couldn't relax much due to the baby's mood, it became a good memory. After putting the child to sleep, I also went to the large public bath. I was able to relax very much, and after getting out, I further relaxed with the massage chair and slept more comfortably in the room than at home. In the morning, I naturally woke up and spent time with the child in the kids' space until breakfast, enjoying a leisurely time. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet in the dining room. It was very abundant and delicious. The baby and the dog were actively moving around in the room, and we were able to spend our time with peace of mind. Thank you very much.
