    This time we stayed ...

    This time we stayed in the dog-friendly Room with our daughter and her husband. My spouse and I have stayed here four or five times, and we keep coming back because the meals are delicious and the service is very attentive. It was our daughter’s first visit, and she was happy with how good the food was. Since it was our first time visiting in summer, we were surprised by how many insects there were and how crowded it was, but we were able to spend comfortably in the Room. However, one Room for four people and two dogs felt a bit cramped, so next time we plan to book two Rooms. The Room was clean and had no dog odor.

    The food is outstanding!!

    This was our first stay in a long time (over 10 years), and we were able to bring our dog with us. Considering the price, the quality of the food is outstanding—there’s no compromise on ingredients, not only at dinner but throughout. The breakfast buffet in particular is completely different from places that simply line up pre-made items bought from suppliers; everything feels truly homemade. It was the best breakfast buffet we’ve had in a while. To all the staff and management, please keep up the great work—we’re cheering you on!

    The bath is amazing.

    The hot spring was so good I wanted to soak in it again and again. The changing area was also clean and pleasant. The sofa by the garden where the Orihime and Hikoboshi baths flow out is a lovely spot, but it was too hot to sit there after bathing, so I left quickly. I would like a space where you can cool down. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The chawanmushi portion was small and just right. If I had to say one thing, the rice felt a little firm. Overall, my stay was more comfortable than expected. The hospitality is outstanding.

    It was great.

    This is our second stay in the dog-friendly Room. The Room seems to have been renovated, but it still feels a bit dated. We were a little worried that insects might get in due to things like torn window screens. However, we think the hospitality and service are wonderful. When we went for an early-morning walk and realized it was raining, a staff member immediately came out with an umbrella for us. Thank you very much for your thoughtful care—it made us very happy. We also happened to see staff handing out towels to each person in a group of motorcycle guests because it was raining, which really impressed us. We usually stay at Yuuyake Koyake Accommodation and enjoy a quiet time there, but we would like to stay again with our pet as well. The walking paths are extremely pleasant and soothing. This season was perfect with all the fresh greenery. Thank you very much.

    Stay in our dog-friendly room with your dog.

    We stayed in a dog-friendly Room on the basement floor. It couldn’t be helped, but the smell of a dog kennel had seeped into the entire Room, and honestly it was tough. We’ve stayed at many Accommodations, but this was the first time it bothered us this much. The price, meals, bath, and service were all very satisfying, so it left us feeling a little disappointed.

    The hot water was great.

    This was my first stay. From check-in, all the staff were kind and welcoming. I really loved the open-air bath and used it three times. The meals were also delicious. When I was leaving, the front desk staff kindly answered my questions. I would like to stay again.

    With your beloved dog and family

    Although the property is a bit old, it was kept very clean. There was no odor in the Room, and an aroma air purifier was provided, so we had a very comfortable stay. My son arrived late due to work, but we were allowed to take our meal back to the Room (except for raw items). It became a wonderful memory. Thank you very much.

    In-Room dining was partly self-service, which was a bit disappointing. Also, it was tough that Plus One could only be accessed by stairs, as we had an elderly person with us.\nHowever, the building was clean and the view was great.

    Satisfied

    The building is a bit old, and the Room is on a basement level? Going down one flight of stairs was something I understood in advance, but it still felt a little inconvenient. However, everything was very clean overall, and we were able to stay comfortably. There was a spacious crate area for our dog, so we felt at ease leaving him in the Room during breakfast. Since he is timid and usually won’t sleep anywhere but at home, it was great that he could rest peacefully at night. The meals were also delicious. We’d love to come again next time with our dog and invite our parents as well.

    Stayed for the first time.

    The warm smiles of the staff upon arrival, their detailed explanation of the facilities, and the young male staff member who kindly carried our luggage and shared helpful information made us feel truly welcomed. The food was delicious with a wide variety of options. Even on a weekday, we had the chance to meet an oiran and take photos together, which became a wonderful memory. We wanted to enjoy the open-air bath under the starry night sky but had to give up due to the cold weather—what a pity. We look forward to staying at this accommodation again. Thank you for such an enjoyable time!

    Your dog will be fully satisfied!

    We stayed for the first time with our two small dogs. The flooring was made of non-slip material, which was very dog-friendly. The walking course allowed us to relax in nature and was well-maintained, which impressed us. There was also a dog run, and our dogs thoroughly enjoyed it. However, while we stayed at a discounted price using a coupon this time, considering the original price or even the discounted price, the meals were somewhat disappointing... We chose in-room dining for our dogs' comfort. It was "half-self-service steamed dishes," but the ingredients were already wrapped in plastic wrap inside the refrigerator. We had to take them out ourselves, unwrap them, and set up the electric pot on our own... It felt more like glamping barbecue than enjoying an onsen ryokan meal. Since it's an onsen ryokan, I expected at least some preparation—like unwrapping ingredients or taking them out of the fridge and arranging them on the table—to be done for us beforehand. This would have enhanced the experience of enjoying in-room dining at an onsen ryokan. As it stands now, it felt less like half-self-service and more like full self-service. I think it would be better not to label it as "half-self." The bath was great; the room was clean; there were amenities provided for dogs; and our dogs truly had a wonderful time staying here! It's close by, so we’d love to visit again someday soon—thank you very much! However, due to this issue with meals, I’ve deducted some points from my rating.

    Perfect for family trips with children!

    Before our child was born, we visited the nearby Yuuyake Koyake twice and dreamed of staying at Yumeno-i when our family grew. This time, we traveled with our 2-year-old twins, and they were delighted with the toys and projector in the room, their sparkling smiles bringing joy to us adults as well. The abundance of amenities for children made our stay comfortable and worry-free. All the staff members were friendly and welcoming, which added to the pleasant experience. Every dish at dinner was delicious with just the right portions. Breakfast included a mix of handmade items and others that seemed not to be homemade; however, the anago rice stood out as particularly tasty. Overall, it was an excellent ryokan experience, and we would love to visit again. Thank you so much for a wonderful time!

    I had a relaxing time.

    We stayed with our dog and chose in-room dining for both dinner and breakfast. The freshly cooked rice was incredibly delicious. The staff at the shop were very kind, making shopping a pleasant experience. However, the room's doorknob was loose, making it difficult to lock. It was a bit confusing to find the way to the Onsen or front desk at first. We would love to visit again!

    Dog-friendly Facility

    Staff warmly welcome you outside the accommodation and guide you directly to a room where you can stay with your dog. The building itself seems aged but has been moderately renovated, offering spacious and comfortable rooms. It would be better if the free drink service lasted longer, and it would be great if hot drinks were also complimentary. The late-night snack service ends too early for guests who have dinner late; more consideration in this regard would be appreciated. Dinner was very delicious with a wide variety of options, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was a standard buffet, but unique items like Himeji oden and anago rice added originality. The curry and rolled omelet were simply delicious. The bath area resembles a small super sento with multiple tubs, allowing for thorough relaxation that keeps you warm for a long time afterward. The dog run and walking paths are located in dense forest areas, which might feel overwhelming at first but are part of the charm. Overall, it was an excellent facility!

    I had a relaxing stay.

    The location was closer to Himeji than expected, allowing for a relaxing stay. The amenities for dogs, such as the spacious pet cage, were well-prepared. The building allowing pets showed some age. While it wasn't noticeable inside the Room, the entrance and hallway had a slight musty smell. The various Facilities, including walking paths, were enjoyable with pets, which was a positive point. The system of marking spots where pets urinate was innovative! However, it might be better to require indoor pet diapers. Since we always use them, we could let our dog play without worry. It was also good that the fees for accidents were clearly stated. We would love to visit again. Thank you very much!

    I stay here with my daughter. The meals are delicious, especially the pudding at breakfast, which is irresistible. The Facility and amenities are reasonable for the price, making it a recommended spot for a quick getaway.

    Stay for a Celebration

    We stayed here to celebrate my father's 70th birthday! The meals were delicious, and when we mentioned it was his 70th birthday, they immediately prepared a celebratory hat, traditional vest, and even a message card! The staff were incredibly kind and made us very happy. The Onsen was relaxing, and there was also a play area for children, allowing us to unwind completely. We will definitely come back again!

    I wanted to relax.

    I visited with my mother, daughter, and dog. The building was a bit old, but the Room was clean. However, the meals were very disappointing. We didn’t expect to have to set up and clean up ourselves, which made it tiring when we wanted to relax. The meal content was also disappointing—the meat was full of fat, leaving almost nothing for us who don’t like fatty food. The portions were small as well, so we ordered additional dishes. The meals were different from what we saw in the photos; the taste was mediocre and overall very disappointing.

    A Thoughtful Accommodation

    It was a thoughtful and pleasant one-night stay. The road to the accommodation is a steep slope. After getting off at the bus stop at the bottom of the hill from Himeji Station, while climbing up, a staff member noticed us and kindly gave us a ride to the accommodation by car. The same service was provided on our way back as well. The hot water was not too hot, just perfect for relaxing and spending time comfortably. Although you can feel its historical charm, everything was impeccably clean, which I believe reflects the dedication of the staff's service attitude. I was able to enjoy a wonderful trip with my mother after a long time. Thank you very much!

    The cleanliness could be improved...

    This was my first time staying here. I decided to leave a review because I was concerned about cleanliness. The windows in the room and the dining area were extremely dirty. While the view from the room's window is beautiful, it was obstructed by thick spider webs and numerous spiders, which made it very unpleasant. It was not something I could enjoy looking at. In the dining area, there were also many insects on the windows. It made me think that a seat without a view might have been better. As for the baths, while the newly built outdoor bath is nice, there were floating debris and insects in it. I left quickly because of this. Additionally, it felt crowded and not relaxing. The older bath had fewer people and was more comfortable to use. Breakfast was enjoyable with freshly made rolled omelets that tasted excellent.

    Plan with Hime Sen Coupon was great.

    Stayed on 7/18-19 with my wife, daughter, and grandchild using the plan that included Himeji Central Park tickets. I think this ryokan is very friendly for both children and pets. There were various activities planned for children, which made me feel they were considerate. The facility itself feels a bit aged, but it was spacious enough for three adults and one toddler to relax comfortably. The onsen is not sourced directly from the spring but there are two baths available, which was nice. I would like to visit again in the near future.

    This was our second ...

    This was our second stay at the accommodation with our dog. Last time, we stayed in a room downstairs, which was a bit inconvenient, so this time we chose a room on the first floor. It was very convenient as it was close to the front desk, the bath, and the dining area. Additionally, we could take our dog for a walk directly from the room without having to carry them. The first-floor room seems less than a year old, but there was a slight odor when entering the room and getting into bed. Perhaps this is unavoidable in pet-friendly rooms. We decided to return because of how delicious the meals were last time, and once again they were perfectly portioned with gentle flavors that were very tasty. The young staff members were full of energy and had kind smiles that made for an incredibly comforting experience.

    We visited with two dogs and our family. The accommodation was comfortable for our elderly grandfather, and the dogs also had a delightful time. During dinner, a dedicated staff member attended to us with thoughtful care, which was greatly appreciated. The salt-crusted sea bream was impressive and made for a wonderful dinner. This is an accommodation we would love to revisit!

    We stayed in a dog-friendly room. There is a short walking path with a dog run along the way, which was perfect for playtime. The entrance had a paw-wiping station and even provided dog insect repellent spray, which was very helpful.

    A comfortable accommodation with views of the satoyama landscape.

    The building has an old charm, but the staff's warm hospitality and the serene countryside scenery are truly soothing. There are two Onsen facilities within the accommodation, allowing for a relaxing experience. Welcome drinks and snacks were provided, and although we stayed with our dog, there was no odor in the room. The meals were delicious, making our stay very pleasant.

    We stayed as a family of five during our spring break trip. The staff were incredibly kind, making our stay pleasant and enjoyable. Despite the late start for dinner, they accommodated us flexibly, for which we are very grateful. This is a highly recommended accommodation where you can feel comforted by the staff's genuine care and warm smiles!

    We stayed with our family of four and our dog. The hospitality was evident from the warm welcome we received. The room was spacious and very clean. Dinner included not only sukiyaki but also a variety of dishes, so much that we couldn't finish it all. We enjoyed the onsen twice, once before dinner and once before breakfast, without any crowding. Breakfast was buffet-style, and the children especially loved the pudding, going back for seconds. In the morning, we took a walk along a mountain trail with our dog. Along the way, we heard music from somewhere and discovered an open area like a dog run. The scenery was beautiful, and it had plenty of space for small dogs to run around freely. We would love to visit again!
