    We were extremely satisfied with this accommodation.

    It was very different—in a good way—from the impression I had years ago. The guest rooms have been renovated and were clean. The two lounges also offered free-flow drinks, and we enjoyed beer as well. In the lounge near the large public bath, there was a large Calpis tap, with unlimited refills of two types of Calpis. The buffet also had a wide selection of alcoholic beverages. Among the dishes, the steak and nigiri sushi were especially delicious. It was my first time trying peach tempura, and it was very sweet. There were many staff members, and everyone greeted us with a smile, which was truly relaxing. I’d like to stay again during cherry season next year.

    Huh?

    I was so impressed last year—everything was wonderful—so I stayed again this year. However, right from the start I thought, “Hmm?” The person guiding us on arrival didn’t smile. Things I noticed at dinner: Most of the trays for plates were dirty! The glasses for alcohol had a fishy smell. Even though it was all-you-can-drink, I stopped after one cup despite the sake looking delicious. Paper cups may not be appealing, but they would have been better. The shrimp chili that was amazing last year was gone. There were about three items that didn’t feel like authentic Chinese cuisine. The steak was tough and overcooked! The amberjack smelled bad. At breakfast, refills were slow after the salad ran out. It would be great if items were replenished before they run out. The restaurant staff also didn’t smile. A smile in the morning makes guests happy! Good points: After check-in, the staff (men and women, including senior staff) at Lounge Sarasa were very pleasant and made guests smile with their service. Table tennis became free and was set up in a spacious Room. The Room was clean and comfortable! The freshly made breakfast rice balls and omelet were delicious! I wrote down what I noticed this time. It’s a bit harsh, but I’d be happy if even some improvements are made. Thank you for taking care of us.

    Local pride!

    I used to visit for a day trip with the Onsen and dinner, but this time I made a Reservation to stay overnight because I wanted to enjoy the Onsen and delicious meals! The SORA room was very clean, and the amenities and unit bath were excellent—absolutely wonderful. I ended up using the Onsen three times. Both dinner and breakfast were truly delicious, and I’m always impressed. I also loved being able to enjoy freshly prepared dishes from the live kitchen. That said, dinner felt like it could have had a bit more variety, and I would have been happy if breakfast offered a few more kinds of grilled fish—so I gave 4 stars. I really liked the renewed Juraku, and I will definitely come again.

    As expected.

    I chose this place because it had great reviews. The service was kind, polite, and at just the right level of attentiveness. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the Facility that made our stay enjoyable. It was a Japanese-Western style Room; while the hallway and doors felt old, the inside was clean and well maintained, with thorough housekeeping. However, our Room was quite far away, so next time I’d like to stay in the Sora building instead.

    An Accommodation recommended by my parents

    This time, the four of us—my parents and my spouse and I—made a Reservation for two Rooms at this Accommodation. My parents recommended it because they enjoyed their stay last year. We have stayed at Juraku in both Minakami and Ito, but this time Iizaka was the best. The meals were excellent, and the staff were very kind. This is an Accommodation we would like to return to again.

    Nothing to complain about!

    A welcome beer right after arrival, and the breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent. The Sora Room we stayed in also had a very pleasant indoor bath, and I couldn’t decide between that and the Onsen, so in the end I took four baths. It’s a wonderful Accommodation that I’d love to visit again soon.

    It was a stay that never got boring.

    From check-in, beer and drinks are available with free-flow service. Even after the Onsen, you can enjoy unlimited beer and Calpis, and at dinner there’s also unlimited sake, wine, and spirits. I don’t usually drink much, but in this kind of setting you naturally end up having some... Guest Room & Amenities: The Room was very clean, likely because it has been renovated. It was also nice that two sets of towels per person were provided. Service: Everyone we passed greeted us with a smile—it felt great. You can tell how often they clean; the hallways were spotless. Onsen & Baths: The open-air bath includes a standing bath and a reclining bath. Indoors there are three baths at different temperatures plus a dry sauna. The changing area was very clean as well. They use high-end hair dryers... There’s also a shampoo bar in addition to the shampoo at each sink, so you can choose your favorite. Facility & Equipment: With only one pillow and one power outlet for two people, it felt a bit insufficient. One USB outlet was broken and couldn’t be used... The Room key was also quite stiff when locking; it took some time to get the hang of it... Dining: Needless to say, there’s a live kitchen. The selection is so extensive that 90 minutes isn’t nearly enough. Overall Satisfaction: So well-rounded that I’d like to come again. The shamisen live performance was great too.

    We keep coming back because the buffet is delicious.

    As always, both dinner and breakfast were delicious. I love this buffet and have come back many times. This time, I stayed in SORA, and it was a wonderful Room where I could relax comfortably. The staff’s service was also excellent.

    A clean and comfortable Room

    This was my first time staying here. The Room was much cleaner and more comfortable than in the photos, and I was very satisfied. The open-air bath in the Room was not an Onsen, but it was kept warm throughout our stay, which was wonderful. However, I couldn’t find a towel rack in the Room, and I wished there had been one. Also, there were no brochures; information had to be accessed via a QR code. That may be fine for younger guests, but it felt a little disappointing for seniors. Even so, we were able to stay at an affordable price in a 10th-floor corner Room with an open-air bath. I’d like to stay again! Thank you very much.

    My first impression was not good.

    When we arrived at the Hotel, we unloaded our luggage and placed it on a cart, and my family and the staff member went inside first. When I parked the car and returned to the Hotel, my family was seated in the lounge, but there was no explanation from the staff member and our luggage had been left at the entrance. My family seemed too worried about our luggage to enjoy the welcome drink. Because the service at the Onsen Accommodation we stayed at the previous day was excellent, this contrast left an even worse impression. The Room had three beds prepared for us, so there wasn’t much space between them, but otherwise there were no issues. Meals were buffet-style for both breakfast and dinner; there was a wide variety of dishes and more than enough—we ate too much.

    The bath was so relaxing!

    This was my second stay at Juraku. This time at Iizaka Hotel Juraku, both the Onsen and the meals were excellent. The staff were also very attentive. I would like to stay again. If possible... Even if the price is a little higher, I would appreciate it if you could introduce a free-flow service like the one offered during my previous stay at Minakami Onsen, as well as similar services from other hotels.

    The bath and the amenity buffet are excellent.

    The bath was wonderful—relaxing and spacious. The amenity buffet was very well stocked; you’d be hard-pressed to find another Accommodation with such a complete selection. The staff were also very kind.

    The meals at Juraku ...

    The meals at Juraku in Minakami were delicious, so I decided to stay in Iizaka as well. The Room was clean, the food was delicious, the bath was well cleaned, and the service was polite—this Accommodation was also excellent. I would like to stay here again.

    A Stay at Your Dream Hotel

    Ever since I saw a striking TV commercial as a child, I’d wanted to stay here someday, and I finally got the chance. The world show was no longer running, but everything—from the hospitality and cuisine to the Onsen—was excellent. Since we stayed in the SORA Wing Room this time, we also enjoyed various perks. We arrived a little after 2:00 p.m.; check-in was available, and until our Room was ready we were offered complimentary soft drinks in the lounge. Our Room faced the town side so the view was average, but it was wonderful—we could enjoy the scenery from both the sofa and the indoor bath. Dinner focused on live cooking stations, and everything we tried—sushi, steak, and more—was delicious. The Onsen had separate facilities for men and women; inside there were lukewarm, medium-temperature, and hot baths, which made it easy to choose based on personal preference. The open-air baths also overlooked a waterfall and included standing baths, reclining baths, and a jacuzzi. At night we could soak while looking at the waterfall and moon—it was fantastic. Above all else, though, I found the staff’s service outstanding. Everyone greeted us warmly and showed great consideration throughout our stay, making it truly comfortable. I’d love to return if I have another opportunity. Thank you very much to all of your staff members.

    The staff’s greetings were wonderful.

    Thank you for your hospitality. As the title suggests, I was truly impressed by the wonderful smiles and greetings from all the staff. The Room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Both dinner and breakfast were buffet-style, and everything was delicious. I wanted to go back for seconds of the steak served at the live kitchen during dinner... but I was too full—what a shame. Even after checkout the next day, you kindly allowed us to leave our car in the parking lot, so we took a short trip by train to a nearby art museum. It was a great help. Thank you very much.

    We had a fun and delicious stay.

    The staff’s hospitality, the delicious food, and the Onsen—everything about this Accommodation was wonderful. Perhaps due to the season, I felt the corridor leading to the large public bath was a bit cold. Please consider this as you continue striving to make this an even better Accommodation.

    A Trip to Celebrate a 77th Birthday

    We stayed here as a couple to celebrate my 77th birthday. The Room was clean, and the Onsen was very relaxing. The meals were buffet-style with a live kitchen, and everything was delicious. On our return Shuttle Service, staff member K kindly showed us local sights along the way and took many commemorative photos for us, which made it a wonderful memory. Thank you very much.

    The hospitality is outstanding.

    Everyone at Juraku who assisted us from arrival to check-out was kind, courteous, and warm, which left a strong impression on us. I also felt that table tennis and the loaner games might be better offered free of charge rather than for a fee.

    An accommodation you can enjoy even on a solo Onsen trip

    I had the impression this was a large Accommodation in an Onsen area near central Fukushima City that often hosts group tours. I was glad to find they were also very welcoming to individual guests, and I had a wonderful stay. I really liked the gentle quality of the hot spring water. The meals didn’t feature luxury ingredients, but they made great use of local produce, and the overall quality was excellent. This is one of the Accommodations I’d like to visit again.

    This buffet may be challenging for elderly guests.

    The Room was clean and comfortable. The buffet meals were delicious, but it was disappointing that it felt hectic due to the crowds. Also, having a time limit for dining was a bit disappointing... It was difficult for elderly guests.

    The Room was also nice.

    I stayed in SORA. The view wasn’t great, but it was cleaner and more comfortable than the main building. I was disappointed because I had been looking forward to the carbonated bath, but I was told the main building’s bath is no longer available. The staff were all kind, and the magic show was fun.

    We had a relaxing stay.

    The view from the Room wasn’t very good, but it was thoroughly cleaned and I had a comfortable stay. The in-room bath was great because opening the window fully made it feel very open and relaxing. However, perhaps because the bathtub is stone, when I filled it there were some floating particles that looked like grime, which was a bit disappointing. The meals were fairly good for both dinner and breakfast. Personally, I don’t really like buffet-style dining because it doesn’t feel relaxing. I would appreciate being served in a private room instead. It would be nice to have a Plan that allows this option, even if it costs more.

    Live kitchen at its best!

    The SORA room is compact but newly renovated and impeccably clean, leaving nothing to be desired. I would definitely like to stay again. The buffet offered a great variety, including steak, beef cheek, Italian dishes, sushi, rice balls, and more. There were also plenty of desserts like soft-serve ice cream and freshly baked cheesecake. It would have been even better if the dining area was more spacious with higher ceilings for a more relaxed dining experience—that was the only downside. The magic show wasn’t as entertaining compared to the Karakuri Doll performance at Marumine Kanko Hotel. The Onsen "Hanamomo no Yu" was moderately uncrowded, clean, and very pleasant. During New Year's holidays, there were many free events to enjoy that showcased the staff's hard work and dedication!

    The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the Onsen was amazing.

    A memorable Hotel we visited as a family long ago. Despite its historical background, the Hotel has been renovated and is impeccably clean, making it very pleasant. As soon as we parked our car, an employee kindly took us to the entrance via shuttle bus. Even though it was a short distance, the frequent shuttle service was impressive. We were slightly worried about leaving the Room selection up to them, but it turned out to be a spacious Japanese-Western style Room which was great. Having enjoyed delicious meals at Manza's Juraku during summer, we decided to visit Iizaka this time and were not disappointed—the meals were equally delightful. The Onsen facilities were expansive with both indoor and outdoor baths that were clean and offered excellent water quality. Nowadays it's common for staff members in Hotels to be non-Japanese speakers; however, here all employees seemed Japanese and they provided exceptional service with great hospitality. The rates are already affordable but booking through IKYU.com even came with vouchers usable within the facility—everything exceeded expectations! If only it were closer to Tokyo, I would love to visit every month! I will definitely return again soon!

    Experienced the warmth of human kindness at Iizaka Onsen.

    I had visited Iizaka Onsen several times for day trips before. On this occasion, I was heading to the Tokyo area for an errand and chose Juraku because I heard good reviews about their buffet and they offered dinner even with a late check-in until 7 PM. The Shuttle Service picked me up at the station, and from the moment I checked in, I felt warmly welcomed by their hospitality. The Room was spacious and comfortable, and the buffet had a wide variety of dishes which were excellent. The outdoor Onsen was particularly enjoyable. The shampoo bar allowed me to try shampoos I'd been curious about—what a lucky experience! To my surprise, there was live piano music with singing at night, which healed my soul with its beautiful melodies. The next morning, I finally visited Sabako-yu as planned. Although the water was extremely hot, a kind local resident said it would be "a shame if you couldn't enjoy it" and kindly added cold water for me—I was deeply touched by their kindness. I loved Sabako-yu so much that after checking out, I went back for another visit! Once again, locals showed concern about whether I'd be able to enter comfortably—it warmed my heart to experience such genuine hospitality from everyone in Iizaka Onsen. Iizaka Onsen is truly a wonderful place!
