    I hurriedly made a reservation for the summer vacation without checking the accommodation plan. However, it turned out to be a great choice! After check-in, we enjoyed self-service soft drinks, draft beer, and light snacks. Both breakfast and dinner were buffet-style with unlimited alcoholic beverages, allowing us to eat as much as we liked. Our children and we had a very enjoyable and fulfilling time. We would love to visit again!

    Covering the age of the Facility with hospitality

    We stayed for one night with my daughter's family. While the room and large public bath showed signs of aging, the exceptional hospitality of the staff more than made up for it, allowing us to have a comfortable stay. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, with each dish carefully prepared, and the staff served us with constant smiles, making our meals even more enjoyable. If given the opportunity, we would love to stay here again.

    The buffet is extensive.

    The meals were delicious no matter what we ate. There was an all-you-can-drink option for beer and other alcoholic beverages, which I think is perfect for those who enjoy drinking. Although the bath lacked a cold water bath in the sauna, there was a complimentary massage chair available, and the services within the facility were excellent. The staff provided very kind and attentive service. Thank you very much!

    I stayed here during my solo trip.

    The bath, facilities, and service are all of a high standard. Meals are served buffet-style, but it would be nice to see more local ingredients. After the meal, there was a saxophone concert which was very relaxing. Since it was the season for Tsukiyono Firefly Village, we went to see it. Although the hotel provided a shuttle service, it was full so we went by private car. If it's in season, it's highly recommended. Overall, it was a satisfying hotel experience. Thank you very much!

    It was newly renovated and absolutely fantastic.

    I stayed here with my mother after a long time. The facility had been renovated, and we had a very satisfying stay. While the baths remained the same, the lounge at check-in, the guest rooms, and especially the dining area were all wonderful. The food was delicious, and I would love to visit again!

    Two nights, three days stay for a family of three Mizunone Room: Japanese-style room with a bedroom **Positive Points:** - Warm and welcoming staff upon arrival; most staff were pleasant throughout the stay. - Wide variety of yukata sizes and patterns available. - Lounge on the lobby floor offers drinks and light snacks (self-service). - Large lounge windows with beautiful greenery views created a relaxing atmosphere. - Enjoyed the soothing sound and scent of the bonfire, creating an excellent ambiance. Perfect for unwinding after dinner while listening to live music. The plum wine (self-service) was delicious. - Fell in love with the buffet's cold ice cream, available during breakfast and afternoon hours—especially loved vanilla × Oreo flavor! Had multiple servings! - Spacious restaurant tables with great views made dining comfortable, though rooms at the back felt slightly confined. - Afternoon service from 2 PM to 4 PM included beer, nuts, ice cream mentioned earlier—great selection of beers on tap; black beer was particularly tasty! - Borrowed playing cards from the lobby to enjoy card games as a family while sipping beer—a fun bonding moment! - Inquired about firefly viewing at night; it was fully booked but staff suggested waiting for cancellations—we got lucky and joined in!     Having stayed at the accommodation before the restaurant renovation (and being very satisfied back then), I was excited to visit again, especially knowing that the wonderful restaurant had been upgraded! The meals were visually stunning and delicious, with a wide variety to enjoy. The Japanese cuisine and sushi area were particularly outstanding. The renovated restaurant, including the rooftop observation deck, offered a pleasant atmosphere with refreshing breezes. The alcohol bar was satisfying as it allowed us to casually enjoy our favorite drinks. However, on a personal note, my father still fondly remembers chatting with an attentive bartender who crafted drinks for him during our previous visit before the renovation. It’s slightly disappointing that such an experience is no longer available. As for suggestions for improvement, I would have appreciated more detailed guidance during check-in. We were looking forward to enjoying free-flow beverages but only received information about the lobby lounge at check-in. There was no mention of other alcoholic options available in the upstairs restaurant besides beer. Since my family prefers highballs over beer, they felt disappointed in the lobby lounge when they realized highballs weren’t available there. As it was also a celebration for a family member’s birthday, I wish we could have provided them with their preferred drink like highballs to make it even more special!

    This was my second visit. The spacious Onsen ensures it never feels crowded, offering a comfortable and relaxing experience with excellent water quality. The highlight was the live kitchen meals, where I enjoyed freshly prepared dishes paired with sake—absolutely fantastic! The live saxophone performance after dinner added a soothing touch before bedtime. The Room this time had a very comfortable layout, and the freshly brewed coffee from ground beans was delightful! All the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. I look forward to visiting again in a different season. Thank you for your hospitality!

    I love this Hotel.

    Our family has loved this Hotel since our children were babies, and we have stayed here many times. We especially love the buffet, and every time we get excited wondering, "What will be on the menu this time? What should we eat?" Everything is truly delicious! The entire facility is clean and comfortable, making it a pleasant place to stay. Even on our way home, we were already saying, "We want to come back! When should we go next?" We will definitely visit again!

    - The staff were all very polite. Not only the service staff but also the cleaning staff paid attention to guests and kindly offered help when needed, without being intrusive. I was able to relax and enjoy food and drinks freely. - The food was delicious, and I gained 2kg. - (In the older Room) The comforter kept slipping off, and the bed was uncomfortable to sleep on. Next time, I’d like to stay in one of the newer Rooms. - The bath area is divided into two sections, which made it inconvenient as you need to put on a yukata when moving between them. The baths and water quality were average overall.

    Consistently High Quality

    This was our fourth stay, and as always, the service and hospitality were excellent. The entire accommodation was impeccably clean, allowing our family to enjoy a very comfortable stay. During breakfast, my mother had wrapped her medication in tissue paper, which my father mistakenly thought was trash and handed it to the staff for disposal. About five minutes later, my mother realized her medication was missing and panicked! We quickly informed the staff about the situation. Despite it being a busy breakfast time, the staff kindly said, "Let me look for it!" and went into the kitchen. After about five minutes of waiting... amazingly! The staff returned to our table with the medication! My mother felt relieved, and we were all deeply moved. We believe they must have searched through trash thoroughly to find it for us. This is truly an accommodation with such wonderful staff! If you're staying in Minakami, I highly recommend Juraku! Additionally, their all-inclusive system and high-quality meals set them apart from other hotels—simply outstanding!

    I made a last-minute...

    I made a last-minute Reservation the day before and stayed here. The exterior looked old-fashioned, which surprised me, but the interior was beautifully renovated, living up to its high ratings. The guest room had a modern design with excellent amenities, which was delightful. Both breakfast and dinner were prepared at a live kitchen and were so delicious that I ended up overeating. Plus, free alcohol added to the experience, making it an exceptional stay. The bath was thoughtfully designed, and even my family members who usually don't soak for long thoroughly enjoyed it. Also, I bought some bread to take home—it was delicious! I would love to stay here again. Thank you very much!

    Dinner, breakfast, all-you-can-drink, and the post-bath lounge Everything was absolutely excellent. See you again next year for my husband's birthday and skiing. The Onsen was amazing, the shampoo bar was great, and the Dyson hairdryer in the washroom was fantastic.

    I stayed alone. It was a twin Room, but the interior seemed to have been renovated as it was new, clean, and well-maintained. What I particularly liked were the basket provided for going to the bath and the coffee beans. As a coffee lover, I appreciated being able to enjoy coffee at my preferred timing and strength. With the all-inclusive service, I could enjoy beer, soft drinks, and snacks in the lounge after check-in, and I could even take them back to my Room. During dinner, there was also a wide variety of alcoholic beverages available for unlimited consumption, allowing me to drink as much as I wanted without worrying about additional charges. The biggest surprise was the buffet. Among all the Hotels I have stayed at, the food here was by far the most delicious, and I was thrilled. The venue was stylish, resembling a luxury Hotel in Tokyo. It was clean, uncluttered, and easy to move around without stress. In addition to Japanese, Western, and Chinese cuisine, there were also Korean dishes and Cold Stone ice cream, making it an incredibly enjoyable experience. Both dinner and breakfast were highly satisfying in terms of taste and quality, and I would love to stay again just for the meals.

    Renovation

    The entire building has a sense of age, but the guest rooms and other areas have been properly renovated. The meals are satisfying in both quality and quantity. The free-flow service is also appreciated. I would like to visit again.

    Clean guest rooms

    We stayed as a group of five, including our grandchild. We had two different types of Rooms, and both were very clean and convenient to use. The meals were delicious, and we enjoyed them at a leisurely pace. Buffets can sometimes be crowded and difficult to navigate, but that was not the case here, which was great. What surprised us the most was being able to take drinks from the lobby back to our Room, which was a delightful and unique feature. Even beer was allowed. The violin performance at the lobby concert was excellent, and we were completely captivated. The selection of music seemed enjoyable for all age groups. The only point I would mention is that if the checkout time were at 11 a.m., we could have relaxed a bit more. It was a wonderful Property, and we would love to visit again.

    It was good.

    There were many foreign employees, but everyone was very polite and kind. The room was old but clean. It was very nice to have unlimited drinks and alcohol both in the lounge and the dining area. Especially at the buffet venue, there were so many types of drinks that it was hard to choose. There was even a free 30-minute music concert, and we had a wonderful time. If I had to say, it was a bit disappointing that one of the open-air baths was a semi-open-air bath with a roof that didn't offer any view of the outside scenery. Overall, it was a very nice property.

    Classic dishes with a reassuringly delicious taste

    With a reputation for high satisfaction in all-inclusive services, I had been waiting for an opportunity to visit. The snacks and sweets in the lounge, including alcohol, available before check-in were decent, but the dinner buffet was very enjoyable, offering high-quality and delicious classic dishes like roast beef, tempura, sushi, and pizza, all served freshly made. As for breakfast, I didn't quite understand the popularity of the bread, but the French toast and open sandwiches were delicious, and I ended up having several helpings of the apple Danish. The onigiri, freshly hand-formed each time, was incredibly tasty. They were small, neatly shaped triangles, and I could eat as many as I wanted. Even though it was a buffet, both at night and in the morning, there were many people working in each corner, making it a well-prepared meal with a personal touch. As for drinks, the sake was decent, but I couldn't find a wine to my liking. Since I mainly chose this place for the food, it couldn't be helped, but the onsen was somewhat lacking. The lack of a view or atmosphere isn't really the main issue, but unfortunately, it didn't warm the body much. The warmth didn't last after getting out of the bath, so it felt like just a large public bath. It was nice to be able to choose the shampoo, though... If only there was a warm onsen with that delicious food, it would be truly perfect. As onsen lovers, we might not repeat our visit, unfortunately. The room was comfortable, with a washbasin that two people could use simultaneously, and the bed was comfortable. However, being on the third floor directly above the lounge, the concert sounds were quite loud (not just live performances, but also amplified sounds). I listened to the concert, but my husband, who wasn't interested and wanted to spend time quietly, eventually had to leave the room, so it would have been nice to have an explanation at the time of reservation. The staff were kind and provided pleasant hospitality. Thank you very much.

    Impressive value for money.

    The cost performance is excellent. At this price, usually the toilet is chilly in winter, or the air conditioning is not great, but from the entrance step to the washroom and toilet, there is floor heating, and the air conditioning is very well controlled. Even for someone like me who feels cold easily, I was able to stay without feeling cold at all, with the comfort of staying in a room that costs around 50,000 yen per person. I thought, "Why not always stay at this Hotel from now on?" There is no alcohol in the Room, but you can enjoy as much alcohol and soft drinks as you like in the public space. I stayed here quite a bit when I was little, and it was deeply moving to see how it has become such a wonderful Hotel over the past 50 years. It seems like I will be visiting many times in the future. The sushi at dinner was exquisite, with very little rice and elegant nigiri, just like a high-end sushi restaurant.

    The previous day, we...

    The previous day, we stayed at a hidden all-inclusive Stays with just over 10 rooms, and then headed north to be taken care of by Juraku in Minakami. Since we had a 1 PM check-in Plan, we were able to enjoy the Onsen with no one around and relax, making it a truly enjoyable day. The meals featured many live kitchens, and the staff kindly interacted with us, allowing us to enjoy freshly made dishes with beer, which was satisfying. I particularly enjoyed the Joshu beef stir-fry, while my wife liked the Neapolitan pasta at dinner (a different type of noodle than at breakfast). Although I didn't go, there was live music at night, and my wife said listening by the fireplace became a good memory. The Room was spacious, with a desk on the mountain side, making it seem comfortable for work as well. We would like to visit again with this Plan next time. Thank you to all the staff. It was a trip where we enjoyed the differences between two all-inclusive stays over 2 nights and 3 days.

    The quality of the buffet is high.

    I have used this place repeatedly, although it has been a while since my last visit. With the passage of time, the prices have increased significantly compared to before, which made me wonder. However, I was still satisfied. The buffet offers a wide variety of Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes, with plenty of volume, and it's impressive that they have maintained their quality during these times. Although the building is quite old, it is well-cleaned and seems to be managed with care. The customer service was proper, and I had no particular complaints. I would like to use it again.

    Used for three consecutive years

    This year's free flow has been further enhanced. We enjoyed it very much. From the parking guide gentleman to the entrance and the front desk, many people greeted us, making us feel very welcome. If possible, it would be great to have a pot for just tea or hot water during breakfast, so we don't have to rush and overlap with those who want coffee. Please consider this. We will be visiting again next year for my mother's birthday.

It was more comfortable than I imagined, and the quality of the onsen water suited my family very well, allowing us to relax.     The live kitchen and free flow are excellent.

    We stayed as a family of three, my wife, son, and I. For us, who love alcohol, the free-flow system was the best, allowing us to drink to our heart's content without worrying about money. It wasn't cheap alcohol either; both the beer and sake were of reputable brands, offering such a variety that we were spoiled for choice. In addition to that, the food was exceptional. Both dinner and breakfast were special, with the chefs preparing the dishes right in front of us with care and dedication. Overall, not only the food and drinks but also the high-quality Onsen and the mini-concert after dinner provided relaxation for both body and mind. The staff's service was also excellent.

    A Satisfying Autumn Journey

    I visited with my wife and 5-year-old daughter. Thanks to the staff's attentiveness, we had an enjoyable stay. The meals were as expected from Juraku, with the buffet being very delicious. Additionally, for a Multiple Night Stay of three days, there was a special dish (hamburg steak at that time). There is also an all-you-can-drink option for wine, sake, and beer, providing a wide selection of beverages. The Facility, with its historical background, has been renovated, so it doesn't have a new feel, but efforts to enhance the Facility's value are ongoing. With features like free-flow and local information provision, the experience value is elevated, and both my wife and daughter were highly satisfied.

    Stays of Interest

    I went on the first day of the long weekend. Unfortunately, it was raining, but they kindly informed me about the parking location. It was 80 meters away from the parking lot, and I was wondering what to do with my luggage, but the shuttle service was helpful. Although I arrived early, I was able to leisurely enjoy tea and sweets in the lobby. The staff is kind. The buffet is of high quality. On the downside, it was cold, so when I turned on the heater, there were three insects, and I used insecticide. The Onsen was lukewarm, so it didn't suit me. It was more comfortable than I expected. Next time, I think I'll visit another Juraku.

    The meals are excellent!

    I have stayed at the Juraku in Iizaka Onsen and Ito before, but the buffet here was the best. The bread baked at the bakery was also very delicious and impressive. All the staff were pleasant, making it a very enjoyable stay. The only disappointment was that there was a crack in the sink in the room, which I thought was dangerous. Although there was no problem this time, I think small children or elderly people might accidentally hurt themselves if they put their hands on it, so I would like some tape to be applied.
