As an accommodation located on the island, it takes a full hour's drive from Ishinomaki City, passing through small coastal villages along the way. Since it's quite a distance from the final stop of the public bus, transportation options other than by car are limited to the accommodation's shuttle service. The view from the room offers a stunning sight of "Kinkasan" right in front, with visible tidal currents that highlight its reputation as an excellent fishing area. The staff seemed to include many foreign nationals but provided courteous service, making for a pleasant stay. The large communal bath was appropriately sized for the scale of the accommodation, and private baths were available free of charge. These private baths featured stone construction and included a clean Japanese-style room where you could relax after bathing—an exceptional experience. It is recommended to reserve these baths immediately upon check-in. Dinner was part of a senior plan and thus lighter in portion size, which suited us well as we often enjoy local lunches during our travels. Despite this, dishes such as fresh sashimi platters, abalone sashimi, and whale cuisine were delightful in quality. A complimentary drink was included with dinner; we enjoyed draft beer as part of this service. Breakfast was served buffet-style. Our twin room had an entryway where shoes could be removed for added comfort. The room also featured chairs with ottomans for relaxation and provided yukata robes not only within the room but also allowed guests to choose their preferred patterns at no extra cost. The sink area was spacious despite being single-sized, while the toilet offered convenience with its automatic door and bidet function. This accommodation is perfect for those seeking a leisurely adult getaway experience!
