We had a wonderful one-night stay.
This was our first stay here. The view of Mt. Kinka and the sea from the Room window was wonderful. The bath in the Room was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the scenery outside while soaking. The large public bath also warmed us up nicely. The staff greeted us with smiles and gave clear, courteous explanations, and the meals were truly delicious. The Room was also thoroughly cleaned, which we really appreciated. Thank you very much for a wonderful time. We would definitely like to visit again.

Special Guest Room
I stayed one night in the newly renovated special room on the top floor. The view from the window was amazing, and the bathtub was spacious, allowing me to relax. Wi-Fi worked perfectly. The free private bath was also large and comfortable. For dinner, there were abalone sashimi and whale dishes, which were delicious. Breakfast was a buffet with a limited selection but still tasty. The staff were always smiling and very friendly. Thank you!

Mt. Kinka
Stayed here during a visit to Kinkasan. The accommodation has a resort-like atmosphere, and you can enjoy views of Kinkasan and the sea from the lobby and room, making for a relaxing stay. The open-air bath I was looking forward to had limited views when seated, which was slightly disappointing, but the water temperature was just right for a long soak. I stayed in a Japanese-style room where the sink and toilet were new and clean. Since guests lay out their own futons, it would have been nice if they were prepared in advance. I would love to stay here again when visiting Kinkasan. Thank you!

We stayed as a couple with a one-night, two-meal plan. This accommodation is located in a remote area, about an hour's drive through the mountains. Perhaps because of this, the building and room feel somewhat outdated, so some renovations would be appreciated. In particular, there is no door separating the toilet and sink area in the room, which should be addressed. The souvenir corner is understandably limited due to space constraints but could use more variety. As for meals, dinner was very delicious but felt slightly lacking in portion size; younger guests might find it insufficient. Breakfast was similar to what you’d find at a buffet in a business hotel—adding more local specialties would enhance it. The bath facilities were excellent—the quality of the hot spring water and the view from the open-air bath were wonderful. Especially notable was the private family bath service: 45 minutes free of charge—a great offering that we hope continues! The staff included young individuals of foreign nationality who worked very hard; their efforts are commendable and worth supporting. Overall, this accommodation has potential but could improve in several areas to provide an even better experience.

Family trip to Tashirojima. Although our plans changed due to the typhoon, the staff checked the ferry operation status until the last minute and provided alternative suggestions, which was truly appreciated. Many of the staff members were from overseas, but they were very polite and accommodating! The Hotel Facility itself has been renovated and is clean, but the bathroom has a retro feel... Also, while the guest rooms are air-conditioned and comfortable, the hallways and elevators were quite warm. The food overall was delicious. It would have been even better with more options for children!

The Room was as expected and satisfactory, but
The food did not meet our expectations and was disappointing. The abalone was a small-sized Tokobushi, and the shark fin—was this really locally sourced?! Moreover, the portions were extremely small. However, the bath, sunrise the next morning, and the yogurt at breakfast were all absolutely wonderful!

Recommended for adult travelers
As an accommodation located on the island, it takes a full hour's drive from Ishinomaki City, passing through small coastal villages along the way. Since it's quite a distance from the final stop of the public bus, transportation options other than by car are limited to the accommodation's shuttle service. The view from the room offers a stunning sight of "Kinkasan" right in front, with visible tidal currents that highlight its reputation as an excellent fishing area. The staff seemed to include many foreign nationals but provided courteous service, making for a pleasant stay. The large communal bath was appropriately sized for the scale of the accommodation, and private baths were available free of charge. These private baths featured stone construction and included a clean Japanese-style room where you could relax after bathing—an exceptional experience. It is recommended to reserve these baths immediately upon check-in. Dinner was part of a senior plan and thus lighter in portion size, which suited us well as we often enjoy local lunches during our travels. Despite this, dishes such as fresh sashimi platters, abalone sashimi, and whale cuisine were delightful in quality. A complimentary drink was included with dinner; we enjoyed draft beer as part of this service. Breakfast was served buffet-style. Our twin room had an entryway where shoes could be removed for added comfort. The room also featured chairs with ottomans for relaxation and provided yukata robes not only within the room but also allowed guests to choose their preferred patterns at no extra cost. The sink area was spacious despite being single-sized, while the toilet offered convenience with its automatic door and bidet function. This accommodation is perfect for those seeking a leisurely adult getaway experience!
