    Each dish was delicious. We also enjoyed the Onsen in the morning of the day after our stay. This is an accommodation we would like to visit again.

    A standard tourist Hotel

    1. Amenities: Standard selection. 2. Guest Rooms: While some signs of aging were noticeable, the rooms were impeccably clean, ensuring a pleasant stay. 3. Dining: The revolving observation restaurant was a delightful surprise! It's rare to see one still in operation, and the meals were absolutely delicious and satisfying. 4. Onsen & Bath: We used the private bath; it was pleasantly standard in a good way—highly recommended! 5. Hospitality & Service: Truly standard in the best sense of the word. Some staff members are from overseas, but their service felt seamlessly natural. Overall, this is an excellent example of a first-class tourist Hotel with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The variety of seafood at breakfast was so extensive that it was hard to choose!

    Visit Ise Jingu Shrine

    We stayed at Todaya during our trip to Ise-Toba for a visit to Ise Jingu. While the building felt a bit old, the room was renovated, spacious, and beautifully clean—almost too large for two people. The meals were served buffet-style with a live kitchen offering a wide variety of delicious options. The open-air bath was comfortable, allowing us to enjoy a relaxing time after quite some time. Its proximity to Toba Station made it very convenient. Thank you very much!

    Disappointing

    The buffet-style breakfast and dinner seemed to be the highlight, so we stayed with our grandchild. However, considering the cost-performance ratio, it was quite disappointing compared to places like La Vista in Hakodate. The breakfast, in particular, felt only slightly better than a standard Route Inn offering. This was my third visit to Toba, but personally, this experience felt like the least satisfying. While the location near the station is excellent, the meals that are supposed to be a selling point were underwhelming.

    An accommodation that conveys a strong corporate philosophy

    After reviewing various websites and reviews, I decided to stay at Todaya this time. The exterior of the hotel feels a bit old, but the interior was very clean and comfortable. The buffet menu had its hits and misses; perhaps my expectations were too high, which left me slightly disappointed. However, the sashimi was very delicious. I also felt that it would be nice if used dishes were cleared a bit more promptly after meals. Overall, I could sense the hotel's intention and effort to provide hospitality to its guests, and their service was excellent. There is great potential for further improvement, so I hope they continue striving forward. Despite my comments here and there, staying here created wonderful memories for me—thank you very much!

    Family Trip

    Stayed here for the first time in decades. While the accommodation shows its age, the room has been renovated and was very comfortable. The view from the room was fantastic, offering a great sense of openness. I wanted to hang my bath towel after returning from the bathhouse but only noticed a bar under the sink at checkout, which was unfortunate. It would be nice to have a separate towel rack to help prevent dampness in the room. The live kitchen during meals was popular and delicious. Other dishes were quite ordinary, with fewer options than expected and not as elaborate as hotel buffets typically are. All staff members—from front desk to room service, restaurant staff, and shuttle service—were incredibly polite and refined; truly impressive!

    Always excellent.

    Although I had some dissatisfaction last time, this time was truly exceptional hospitality. The staff greeted us with smiles as we passed by, and it was impressive to see a gentleman in a suit waving to children. Additionally, the international staff member who guided us to our dinner table was polite, spoke excellent Japanese, and made the dining experience very pleasant. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. I didn’t visit the Onsen but enjoyed relaxing in the large public bath. The Room was spotless and comfortable for my stay. I would love to visit again. Thank you very much!

    It was an accommodation full of hospitality.

    The hotel exudes a nostalgic Showa retro atmosphere, likely due to its age, but the staff were kind and pleasant. Upon arrival, we enjoyed relaxing with the lobby's drink service. Our room was on the first floor, offering a view of the sea and access to the garden, which delighted our children. The Onsen was located in an adjacent building and a bit far for my elderly parents, making it inconvenient. Additionally, there were limited washing areas in the Onsen, and during Golden Week it was crowded so we had to wait—this was a downside. However, the buffet meals offered a wide variety of delicious dishes.

    Reasonable for the price, but the bath could be improved.

    Stayed during Golden Week. This Hotel stands apart from the modern, trendy hotels of today, offering a nostalgic Showa-era charm in a good way. While the overall aging of the Facility is undeniable, considering the price, it offers decent cost performance. However, for a Hotel that promotes its 13 Onsen baths for both men and women combined, I believe renovations to the baths should be considered. Both indoor and outdoor baths lack rotation between genders and have poor design aesthetics that detract from the experience.

    This time...

    I have used this place several times. The meals are delicious, the Onsen is available, and I always have a comfortable and satisfying stay. The location is convenient, and the staff are polite, making my stay pleasant. However, this time I chose a Plan where I couldn't select the Room type and was assigned a Japanese-style Room. One concern was the smell from the air conditioner, so I opened the window. Additionally, during the night, there was a dripping sound at intervals of a few minutes coming from either the balcony or ceiling, which made it difficult to sleep well. Still, I will use this place again.

    The room was assigned under the "Accommodation's Choice Plan," but they kindly prepared a Japanese-Western style room with twin beds as requested. The renovated bedroom was clean and very comfortable to stay in. The exquisite kaiseki dinner was beautifully presented, with thoughtful details in plating and tableware, making it enjoyable not only for the taste but also visually. It would have been perfect if the panoramic rotating restaurant allowed us to view at least 180 degrees of the scenery. I would love to stay here again if I have the chance.

    Highly Satisfied

    The service and both dinner and breakfast were very satisfying. During our stay, we encountered some issues, but the staff responded flexibly and were extremely helpful. My parents were also very pleased. We would love to stay again if we have the chance.

    Relax and unwind wit...

    Relax and unwind with a luxurious meal in your room featuring abalone, spiny lobster, and a variety of dishes while enjoying the stunning ocean and mountain views from your room. The hotel, located right along the coastline, was truly impressive! The staff at the accommodation greeted us warmly with smiles, and we thoroughly enjoyed the large open-air bath.     Everything is satisfying.

    It was a rainy day, but the Shuttle Service from the parking lot to the Ryokan and the excellent hospitality were impressive. We chose in-room dining, and the meals were luxurious and delicious, allowing us to relax and enjoy quality family time. The variety of baths available, including free private ones, was also a highlight. Experiencing Doctor Fish was an enjoyable addition to our stay.

    The private bath, available for free, was very enjoyable. The course meal, thoughtfully prepared for pregnant guests, was excellent (the spiny lobster was incredibly delicious). All the staff provided warm and friendly service with smiles, making our stay highly satisfying. We would love to visit again with our family.

    It was our first sta...

    It was our first stay in about six years. We used the accommodation for a three-generation trip to celebrate my parents' golden wedding anniversary and my child's graduation. From the warm welcome to the farewell, every staff member provided excellent service, making our stay very fulfilling. The timing of room meals and futon preparation was perfect, allowing us to enjoy a very comfortable time. However, since check-out is at 10:00 AM, which felt a bit early, I wished it could have been an hour later. Our room was the Japanese Suite in Kishuntei with a stunning veranda overlooking the sea, which delighted my parents and made me happy as well.

    Prime location

    It is an excellent location for train travelers. The view is also superb. It's what you would expect from a long-established Stays. The breakfast and dinner were buffets with a wide variety, and it was especially nice to be able to make a hot pot or grill fish at your own seat. I used the self-checkout, but it was difficult to find where to return the room key.

    The bath and meals were both excellent.

    As expected from a place that prides itself on its baths, there was a wide variety of baths to enjoy. Additionally, complimentary drinks were provided after bathing, making it a spot you'll definitely want to visit again.

    At check-in, the front desk was staffed by a foreigner who only asked for a formal signature and check, without providing sufficient explanation. Dinner was at a revolving restaurant, but despite many empty seats, we were immediately moved to a seat by the entrance aisle, unable to enjoy the view, showing a lack of consideration. At the breakfast buffet, a man with hair down to his shoulders was cooking, which was insensitive. I expected a traditional Ryokan, but it was very disappointing.

    I was able to spend a relaxing time.

    I visited for sightseeing in Ise and around Toda. The Stays had a great Onsen and delicious meals, allowing me to relax. I would like to visit again if I have the chance.

    It was as per the Review.

    It was a very good Hotel as per the Review. The size is overwhelming, and it feels like staying at a good old-established Hotel. The meals were buffets both at night and in the morning, but there was a wide variety, and the taste was very good. Both check-in and check-out were handled by foreign staff, but they were very polite. If an acquaintance said they were looking for a Hotel in Toba, I would definitely recommend this Hotel.

    I want to go every year!

    Thank you for taking care of us during the New Year holidays. When my elderly mother fell at the entrance, you promptly responded by bringing a wheelchair and providing ice. There were New Year's soba and mochi-making events, plenty of Onsen, a great view from the Room, and the buffet was delicious. Although we couldn't visit Ise Jingu, it was truly a memorable trip. It was a Hotel we would like to visit every year. Thank you very much!

    It was a very enjoyable New Year's trip.

    We visited as a New Year's trip with my daughter's family. The room was newly renovated and beautiful, and we were able to have rooms next to each other with my daughter's family. The view was great, and the room was spacious enough, which made my grandchild happy. The large public bath was also very clean, but it was a pity that it was not an onsen. We had a meal at the Tenchikai buffet, and every dish was very delicious. If my stomach had no limits, I would have liked to try all the menu items. The tuna cutting show was impressive. My 3-year-old grandchild, who saw a tuna cutting for the first time, seemed to find it interesting. From the Shun-tei where we stayed to the South Building with the front desk and shop, there is quite a distance, so I thought it would have been nice if there was at least a small shop in Shun-tei. My husband and I, as well as my daughter's family of a younger generation, were very satisfied. It was an enjoyable New Year's trip. Thank you very much.

    It was good.

    Perhaps because it was the off-season, I enjoyed the open-air bath both at night and in the morning, and it was like having it all to myself. The interior was also very spacious and clean (I expected it to feel older, to be honest). The dinner buffet had a wide variety and was delicious! On the way back, we were taken to the station by a cute bus. Thank you very much.

    Fried oysters are the best!!

    Close to the station and within walking distance to Toba Aquarium. The Room had an ocean view, was spacious, clean, and very relaxing. The open-air bath had a great view, but the path was far and had some steps, which was a bit challenging as I was with my elderly mother. It would have been better if it was a bit more gentle. The meals were all delicious!! The sashimi was fresh! There was also a pizza oven, and the fried oysters were especially amazing. I would love to use it again. Thank you very much.

    Healing Stays

    Thank you for taking care of us on 11/23 and 11/24. We stayed for the first time in three years, and the room was clean, and the staff in charge of the room was very kind. We were able to enjoy dinner slowly in the room, and it was delicious. The event hall was decorated for Christmas, so we took pictures with the family. It's a property we love, so we would like to stay again. Next time, we want to stay in a different room.
