AWAKAN – Tsuri to Kazoku no Taiken-gata Ryokan –

Thank you, Awakan, for your warm hospitality. My mother has loved traveling since long ago. We were poor when I was little, but she managed to take me to Awaji Island. I wanted her to be able to take her time and look out at that sea again. The weather wasn’t great, but as expected of a special room—we could relax on the spacious sofa and share many memories. The meals were generous, luxurious, and delicious. Most of the staff were international, but everyone was very kind and treated my mother in a wheelchair with gentle care and courtesy. With so many staff members, the place felt lively. It was heartwarming to see small children from other families greeting the staff in cute English, while what seemed like grandparents looked on happily. We also enjoyed the lovely view from the window of parents and children having fun fishing. I felt this is an Accommodation that families can enjoy no matter what stage of life they are in.

This was our second stay. Just like last time, the foreign staff were truly wonderful.They greeted our children with big smiles and treated them with great kindness and care.We will definitely come again next year!
