  This was my first vi...

  This was my first visit to Kaga Onsen. The room was renovated with an open-air bath, and it was clean and wonderful. All the meals were delicious, but I was especially surprised by how tasty the rice was. I would love to visit again if I have the chance.

  Stayed in December 2...

  Stayed in December 2024 on a weekend with my spouse and one toddler. When we entered the Room, there was no futon prepared for the toddler, but they brought it immediately when we asked. Dinner was a full course of crab in a private room. Everything tasted delicious. The portions were sufficient. They also provided a place for the child to sleep. The open-air bath in the Room is a natural hot spring. Excellent. The public bath has a spacious sauna, highly recommended. Breakfast was buffet style. There weren't many options, so it was disappointing.

  A nostalgic traditional Onsen Ryokan

  I stayed with my mother and husband. The room had an onsen, and my mother was pleased to enjoy a relaxing bath in the morning and evening, finding the onsen water soft. The dinner featured fresh sashimi served on a boat platter, and the simmered sea bream head was delicious, prompting my husband to indulge in sake. The property is located on a quiet hill, and I found the staff to be kind and attentive.

  Aside from the fact ...

  Aside from the fact that the building is old, everything was great except for the view from the room. Anyway, the food was luxurious and very delicious! The hot springs were nice, and the staff were kind and courteous. I recommend this inn.

  Dinner was mediocre.

  I chose the boat platter course, but the quantity was too small, and the seafood wasn't that good. Overall, it left a weak impression. Honestly, it didn't suit my taste.

  It was wheelchair-friendly and cost-effective.

  There is a wheelchair user in my family. When I informed them in advance, they kindly accommodated us by selecting the type of car for pickup, assisting with getting in and out, providing necessary items in the room, and attending to us during meals. The bed, in-room bath, and dinner were very good. It was unfortunate that there were only low chairs in the room. Also, it would have been perfect if there were a few more soft dishes for breakfast. I think the cost performance is good.
