    Family Travel

    The Accommodation Fee felt high, possibly due to being inclusive and during the summer vacation. The Room was spacious and comfortable, but it was disappointing that the floor felt gritty and dust had accumulated. It was appreciated that separate room wear for children was provided. Thanks to the inclusive service, drinks were readily available. We wanted to try pizza and other items but couldn't due to limited time on this visit. The buffet offered a wide variety of dishes, which we enjoyed. The seating area was spacious as well. Being able to prepare your own hot pot and having a large selection of seafood were great features. However, at the drink bar during meals, options like orange juice were only available in carbonated form, which caused trouble for children who couldn't find suitable drinks—this might be intentional but leaves younger kids without options they can consume easily. Although limited in number, free fireworks with buckets and lighters provided were a nice touch. The pool is small but not overly crowded; towels are also available for borrowing, which was very convenient.

    I want to visit again.

    It was so much fun and delicious! We stayed with a friend's family. On the first day, we enjoyed activities at the Hotel: pool → cycling → dinner → karaoke → festival games → fireworks → large public bath. In between, we had plenty of drinks. The kids were all smiles and fully enjoying themselves, while the parents were exhausted (haha). On the second day, after a delicious breakfast following dinner from the night before, we visited an aquarium. It was an incredibly enjoyable two days. The staff at the Hotel were very accommodating, and we would love to stay again!

    The cuisine is of a high standard. Complimentary drinks, including draft beer and wine, are available before and after check-in. During meals, you can enjoy Super Dry Extra Cold beer. Overall satisfaction was extremely high.

    It was a reasonable and excellent Hotel.

    All-inclusive plan with unlimited alcoholic drinks starting from 2:00 PM. Meals are buffet-style for both dinner and breakfast, featuring a variety of dishes such as salmon roe, snow crab, steak, sashimi, grilled turban shell, hamburgers, and more—guaranteed to satisfy! Highly recommended! Although the weather was unfortunate on the first day, you can still enjoy free craft workshops, table tennis, karaoke, and unlimited drinks for a fulfilling stay!

    This was my first time staying here. The staff were very pleasant, definitely 5 stars. While I understand it's due to the times, the amenities were a bit disappointing—it's better to bring your own. I especially found the lack of towels inconvenient. As for the Room's semi-open-air bath, it might not quite qualify as "semi-open-air." The meals were casual and delicious, with all-you-can-drink alcohol included. I'm unsure about a second visit, but since the staff were so welcoming, I might consider it.

    All-Inclusive

    It was my first time staying at an all-inclusive accommodation, and the room had a 2L bottle of water. Other alcoholic and soft drinks were unlimited, and there was even ice cream available at the bathhouse relaxation area—everything was perfect! The buffet meals allowed me to enjoy my favorite dishes, leaving me completely satisfied!

    We stayed as a family and had a wonderful experience. Being all-inclusive, it included welcome drinks, free drinks during dinner and breakfast, allowing us to relax without any worries. Although I haven't experienced this at other accommodations, there were craft activities available, which we enjoyed twice. I imagine maintaining these activities must be challenging, but I hope you continue them as they set you apart from others. The room, large public bath, and meals were all very satisfying. If I may suggest one improvement: there was only one key for the room, which required some coordination when entering or leaving with the family. Having two keys would be helpful. It would also have been nice to have tabi socks provided. I look forward to staying here again when visiting the Ibaraki area!

    Recently renovated and updated

    During my previous visit, the Ryokan still had a traditional image, but after the renovation, the Rooms have become more Western-style, and now you can enjoy a bath with an ocean view. The buffet venue has also been beautifully updated, offering delights like seafood grills and steaks. It was convenient not having to carry money around for various activities within the facility. I am planning to visit again in October with my grandchildren.

    Stayed with a baby.

    We stayed in the Superior Twin Room with a Semi-Open-Air Bath in the Central Building. The meals, from arrival to breakfast, were extremely satisfying. The buffet was excellent and worth coming for. The room itself felt slightly dated in terms of structure and wasn't ideal for spending extended time indoors, but the bath was clean and enjoyable. Due to family circumstances, we couldn't drink alcohol this time; however, non-alcoholic beer and cocktails were available, making the all-inclusive experience very enjoyable. We would definitely like to stay here again when visiting this area.

    Good.

    I heard the buffet was excellent, so I stayed at the accommodation for the first time. While there were moments where some guests' poor manners slightly dampened the experience, I found the food to be very delicious. They offered dishes like grilled turban shells, scallops, and individual hot pots you could prepare yourself. Of course, there was also crab available.

    Fun Hotel

    The exterior may look a bit old, but the interior is clean. The room offers a great view of the ocean! Drinks are unlimited, and you can enjoy free all-you-can-eat pizza and other delicious options with excellent service. Karaoke and table tennis can be reserved online and are also available for free. The bath is spacious, fully equipped, and very relaxing. There are various dining venues to choose from, which made it enjoyable; however, it was slightly disappointing to encounter some guests with poor manners—though this is not the Hotel's fault.

    We enjoyed our stay as a family.

    I stayed with my 2-year-old child. The building itself seemed old, but the room we stayed in was beautifully renovated and very comfortable. We enjoyed complimentary welcome drinks and light snacks as a family, which was a great experience. On the check-in day, it was raining heavily, so we couldn't play outside, but the craft activity provided was very much appreciated. Thanks to having stickers in addition to glue-required items for decorating photo frames, even my 2-year-old could participate and have fun. The buffet meals we were looking forward to were also very delicious and satisfying. Amenities are limited, so I recommend bringing your own moisturizing products.

    Family Trip Oarai Hotel

    I visited Oarai Hotel last year and had a great experience, so this time I brought my parents along to celebrate my grandparents' wedding anniversary. My grandfather uses a wheelchair, and we went as a group of four with his daughter and grandchild. Everyone was kind, making it comfortable even for those with disabilities. The buffet was luxurious both at night and in the morning—everything was delicious! We’d love to visit again as a family. The table tennis facility in the hotel closed at 9 PM; it would have been nice if it stayed open until 10 PM. Unlimited drinks and snacks within the hotel were amazing! The Room was also very clean!

    It exceeded my expectations!

    I stayed at the accommodation during a spring break weekend. When I arrived early at the hotel, there was already a line for check-in. Although one counter was open and there were many staff members at the entrance, it took some time to complete the check-in process, which could have been smoother. The hotel had been renovated, and the room was just as beautiful as shown in the photos—something you wouldn't expect from its exterior appearance. The room was also thoroughly cleaned and felt very comfortable due to its cleanliness. Given the number of guests staying, I expected that both the bath area and restaurant would be crowded; however, this wasn’t the case. The bath area was spacious and relaxing, while we could enjoy our meals leisurely in the restaurant. Since it was a buffet-style meal, I didn’t have high expectations initially; however, I was impressed by both the variety of dishes prepared and their quality—it must have taken great effort to prepare such an extensive selection! Additionally, watching how efficiently and professionally restaurant staff worked made for an even more pleasant experience. Thank you very much!

    The location and hospitality are excellent.

    It was close to Oarai Isosaki Shrine, making it easy to go see the sunrise. The all-inclusive service allowed us to relax and enjoy drinks. Playing table tennis with the kids was a lot of fun, and the monkfish hanging cut was impressive. We also enjoyed the crab. It was a wonderful Hotel!

    The breakfast buffet is wonderful.

    The location is great and the Room is clean. I was initially worried about the buffet meals, but the breakfast buffet had an abundance of salmon roe and an amazing variety. Dinner was also enjoyable both to look at and eat, with crab, turban shell, steak, and more. The bathroom in the Room might be slippery.

    The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere and the way the staff interact are superb. Highly recommended Hotel. I will definitely visit again.

    It was fun.

    There was a Beaujolais Nouveau service on the day of check-in. The sunrise from the Room is wonderful and clean. The meals are buffet-style, but they are creatively prepared and very delicious. I inquired about an item I left in the Room, and received excellent service. I would like to visit again.

    Memorable Trip

    The reason we chose to stay at Oarai Hotel this time is because my father, who passed away 13 years ago, once visited Oarai Hotel on a day trip with his day service and spoke about it with such joy. He was looking forward to coming back with everyone for an overnight stay, but unfortunately, that wish was never fulfilled. This time, my daughter, grandchild, and I were able to see the coast and scenery my father once saw, creating good memories for us and allowing us to reminisce about my dear departed parents while lying in bed. Thank you to the Hotel staff for your proper and kind service.

    The crab is delicious.

    The main attraction of the buffet, the snow crab, is very delicious. You can create a luxurious mini rice bowl topped with salmon roe and crab. The Haagen-Dazs ice cream is also a delightful treat. The inclusive beer, juice, and coffee maker are also excellent. I would love to visit again.

    A hotel beyond expectations

    To be honest, I didn't have high expectations, so I was pleasantly surprised in a good way. This time, I only had breakfast, but the buffet-style meal with plenty of fresh fish was very nice. The building itself isn't new, but the interior is clean. Being by the sea, the view is great. After checking in, I was pleased with the complimentary beer and snacks (nuts) in the lounge. I wonder if this service is offered every day? There were many guests, likely repeat visitors. Families with children will surely find their kids delighted. It seems some parts are being renovated, and there was a building under construction, which makes me quite curious about what the interior will look like. My wife said she definitely wants to visit again. As a hot spring enthusiast, I found the large public bath to be a bit lacking! This time, our room had a semi-open-air bath, and it was nice to bathe while looking at the sea in the morning. It would have been even better if there were bath salts provided in the room. Personally, considering the price and service, I think the satisfaction level is high.

    I was drawn to this ...

    I was drawn to this hotel after watching a YouTube video featuring crab, sashimi, turban shell, scallops, beef hot pot, and unlimited salmon roe for breakfast. As rumored, the hotel was clean, and the staff had a good attitude, making for a pleasant stay. However, I was disappointed that there was no boat-style sashimi platter. Since both the website and YouTubers advertised it, I didn't expect it to be unavailable, which was disappointing, but everything else was great. The free karaoke and all-you-can-drink service were wonderful. I would like to visit again if they start offering the boat-style sashimi platter.
