    The food could be better.

    The renovated room was excellent. The view and the private bath (indoor bath) with natural hot spring water were amazing. For this price, the room and onsen were great. However, the food and its serving location were really disappointing. I don't want to eat meals that seem like they were just taken out of a bag for both breakfast and dinner. The dining area felt like a wedding hall from the Showa era. Especially at breakfast, there was nothing I truly wanted to eat in the buffet. Dinner also felt like something from a public lodge. It's such a waste considering how good the onsen is. I couldn't reconcile the gap between how great the room was and how poor everything else felt. Maybe higher-priced rooms offer something different? I've been to many places, but even if it's similar food, atmosphere matters so much more here. Even though it’s "No Meals Included," there are almost no restaurants nearby, so there's no choice but to dine here... It’s really unfortunate because both the hot spring water and room were fantastic! I wouldn’t mind paying more if only they could improve their meals properly!

    Accommodation with a Great View

    The view from the room was excellent, and the private bath in the room was spacious and relaxing. The dining venue on the 6th floor also had a great view, and the meals were delicious. The abalone and sashimi were fresh, and breakfast, including grilled fish, was also very tasty. The seagull feeding attraction was entertaining as well. It was an accommodation with thoughtful hospitality from the manager and all staff members.

    It was excellent.

    We stayed with 10 people for a 60th reunion. The location was fantastic, with views of the lake from both the room and the open-air bath. During dinner, we were pleasantly surprised by a non-alcoholic sparkling wine gift from the hotel to celebrate our 60th anniversary. Everyone who participated was very happy, making it a truly satisfying stay. Thank you very much!

    It was full of attractions, and the Onsen was also great.

    The meals and quality were very satisfying. The bath was also pleasant. The water temperature of the open-air bath was lukewarm. The Facility shows signs of aging, but it is within an acceptable range.

    I was able to relax very much.

    I was able to relax at the long-established Ryokan. The room with a sauna is the best, and you can enjoy an authentic sauna (Löyly) instead of just a sauna. There is also a cold bath, and cooling down on the deck chair next to the open-air bath is also great. It's quite rare. I was completely relaxed. Thank you, I will visit again.

    It was a property I would like to stay at again.

    The staff who guided us to the room was a foreigner, but their Japanese was so good that it was hard to believe they had only been in Japan for six months, and their service was excellent. The room was spacious and clean, with a panoramic view of the lake from the window, creating an extraordinary space from the moment we stepped in. The meals were delicious, and the onsen was pleasant, making us glad we chose this property. The morning view from the window was truly wonderful, and I definitely want to stay again. The one point I would like to see improved is the futon. The futon was thin, and although there was something like a mattress layered on top, it made my back hurt. The zabuton also looked fluffy, but when sitting, the board of the chair hit directly and it was painful. I would appreciate it if the futon could be improved.

    I was extremely satisfied.

    Stayed during the October holiday weekend. We were warmly welcomed, and the room we were shown to was incredibly lovely, with an onsen overlooking Lake Togo. I was delighted to find a water server in the room, as I often drink water. The dinner was so plentiful that it was hard to finish (laughs). Tender Tohaku beef, abalone steak, salt-grilled sweetfish, fresh sashimi, pork soy milk hot pot, appetizers, etc. I think half the amount of meat and dessert would be sufficient. Breakfast was a buffet, so I adjusted my portions while eating. The abalone porridge was very delicious. I was worried that the price might be too low... I would love to visit again.

    Enough.

    For my family, it was a very satisfying stay. The staff who welcomed us in the parking lot in the rain, those who handled the procedures at the front desk, and those who took care of our meals, all the employees treated us well. Also, the room was clean, the amount of dinner, and the variety of the breakfast buffet were all very satisfactory. Thank you very much.
