    Stylish Hideaway

    Very satisfied, it was excellent. The attention to detail in both dinner and breakfast was outstanding, truly living up to its reputation as a gourmet destination. In addition to the course meals, I enjoyed matsutake mushrooms for an additional fee—they were plentiful and delicious. I also tried the private bath; it was clean and very relaxing. The public bath was also well-maintained and pleasant. Highly recommended!

    A Charming Hideaway

    We stayed here for a girls' trip. The front desk and restaurant staff provided excellent service and hospitality, making our stay very comfortable. Above all, we were deeply impressed by the delicious cuisine. Each dish, from appetizers to desserts, was carefully prepared and left a lasting impression. The portions, seasoning, serving speed, and warmth were all perfect. Breakfast was also delightful. It reminded us of the importance of food and filled us with happiness. The Room was clean and contributed to creating wonderful memories for us. We are truly grateful to all the staff who took care of us during our stay. Thank you so much for such an enjoyable time! This is a hidden gem we will definitely visit again!

    Gourmet Delights Plus Alpha

    A delightful retreat where we enjoyed exquisite cuisine.     The meals are excellent.

    The restaurant's atmosphere was pleasant, and the waiters and waitresses were well-trained, making for a comfortable stay. Although the foreign trainee at the front desk seemed a bit inexperienced, everything else—especially the meals for both dinner and breakfast—was of quality and quantity comparable to that of a luxury hotel. It was an extremely satisfying stay. The onsen was also very enjoyable. The staff's smiles were truly refreshing and helped us forget our fatigue.

    I had a relaxing stay.

    I chose this place to spend some quiet time. As mentioned in everyone's reviews, I was able to relax peacefully even during Golden Week. The meals were highly satisfying, the drinks complemented them perfectly, and I had a great night's sleep. Although the stargazing was limited due to the moon and light clouds, it was wonderful to lie on a sofa with frog calls as background music while listening to explanations about the stars. I never imagined that I would learn about satellites passing overhead through an app—it was very educational. I also realized how rich in nature this area is when I heard that you might even catch the sound of nearby owls if you're lucky. I would love to visit again!

    The actual appearance was very different from the images shown.

    Old Business Hotel with a good impression of hospitality. Apologies for being critical, but the dinner course was Japanese-style and felt somewhat vague. While I understand the emphasis on dashi, relying solely on it makes the concept unclear. For breakfast, the soup and bread were particularly delicious. The Sri Lankan curry would be better enjoyed with naan—it’s tasty!

    I stayed with a plan...

    I stayed with a plan that included one night's accommodation and two meals. The view from the window is not something to expect, and you can hear the sound of trains clearly. While the building's age is noticeable, it was compensated by the staff's warm smiles and excellent hospitality. Both meals were highly satisfying. Dinner was a course meal that felt light yet delicious with every dish being delightful! Breakfast featured freshly baked bread with a wonderfully chewy texture. Choosing this accommodation turned out to be the right decision. Thank you very much!

    I decided to stay based on reviews mentioning delicious meals. As expected, both breakfast and dinner were excellent and very filling. The room felt a bit old but was clean and had a cozy, home-like atmosphere rather than that of a hotel, which was quite relaxing. I appreciated the availability of ReFa products, so I didn’t need to bring my straightener or curling iron. The onsen was accessible even at night, and since I had it all to myself, it felt like a private experience. The staff provided warm and pleasant service throughout my stay. It’s unfortunate that stargazing wasn’t possible due to the rain, and I would have liked more variety in the lounge snacks. I hope to visit again someday—thank you for your hospitality!

    The meals are excellent.

    We visited as a couple. Recently, we have often stayed at large Hotels, but this one was small, quiet, and very comfortable. There was an outdoor stargazing service; it was cold, but we were moved by the breathtaking starry sky that cannot be seen in the city. Both dinner and breakfast were elaborate and delicious. If given the chance, we would love to visit again in summer to see the stars.

    The food is always delicious and impressive. You can enjoy the wonderful meals made with the chef's ideas and skills, featuring the seafood and produce of Ise-Shima. Both dinner and breakfast are very satisfying. We are grateful for the hospitality of the staff, the bath, and the stargazing, all of which are excellent. It is a Hotel that makes you want to stay again.

    Astronomical Observation

    There is a place on the second floor of the Hotel where you can observe the stars, equipped with a telescope, and we received an explanation. It was the best experience. We could clearly see the patterns of Jupiter and the rings of Saturn. I am truly grateful to the astronomy enthusiast who explained everything to us. The food was also delicious.

    A few days before the trip, I checked the homepage again and found out that there would be stargazing on the day, which I was really looking forward to, but unfortunately, it was cloudy. However, the enthusiastic and enjoyable explanation from the observer, the photo of Saturn taken a while ago that I received on my smartphone, and the impressive telescope shown on the rooftop turned my disappointment into anticipation for the next time. What was truly disappointing was the dinner. This time, I happened to make a reservation on IKYU's sale day, and after reading everyone's reviews, I was delighted to stay at a wonderful hotel at a great price. However, in reality, it was just a dinner with reduced quality, not a bargain but a cheap menu. No one around had the same menu, and the poor dinner was quite upsetting. If you are displaying the sign of an auberge, you should be ashamed of having such reviews. It's really unfortunate because the stargazing service was good.

    Extremely Comfortable

    Not only can you enjoy the cuisine, but you can also relax in the exclusive lounge for guests before and after meals, and the bath is good too.

    The food is delicious!!

    All the dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. The portions were generous, and we were very satisfied. The breakfast, in particular, had a wide variety of items, so much so that we couldn't finish it all. There were four types of bread, each of which was delicious. A well-balanced and healthy breakfast was provided.

    I visited on October 4th. I had a very enjoyable time. As everyone says, the food was very delicious and plentiful, which was very satisfying. The coffee and juice in the lounge were also delicious. We are not strong drinkers, and there were many wines and such, but it was a shame we couldn't drink them. I would like to visit again. Thank you to all the staff for the delicious food and a fun day.
