Hotel Provence

Just as past Reviews said, the food was simply outstanding. The seafood in particular was superb—I couldn’t help saying “So delicious” with every bite. Even though it’s a Hotel, each dish was carefully served one by one like a restaurant course, so both hot and cold items were enjoyed at their best.Breakfast also had an uplifting menu that started the day off right, and I was very satisfied.All of the staff were kind, cheerful, and left a great impression.The top-floor club level had a lovely atmosphere, and the complimentary sweets felt pleasantly refined.As for the bath area, it was thoroughly cleaned and I didn’t notice anything unpleasant such as stray hair.I didn’t have high expectations for the stargazing experience, but the telescope was better than I imagined and the host’s fun talk made it another highlight of this Hotel.Thoughtful touches like welcome gelato and hot coffee when seeing guests off also made me want to stay again.Although the Hotel has been around for years, it never felt dated—this is definitely a Hotel I want to visit again.

While the building and furnishings show their age, everything is very clean. Rather than feeling outdated, the space has the charm and warmth unique to antiques. The meals were beautifully presented in a Western style, yet featured dishes with distinctly Japanese flavors. Both the presentation and taste were excellent, and we enjoyed them very much. If I had to ask for one thing, I wish there had been beer available in the lounge... Unfortunately it rained this time so we couldn’t do stargazing, but we’d love to visit again next time to enjoy a sky full of stars.
