Very satisfied
True to its name, the baths were excellent. The large public bath was spacious, and the open-air bath in the Room was a comfortable size, so we were able to fully enjoy the baths. The meals also offered a wide variety; we had rice with simmered golden eye snapper and left completely satisfied. The rice was especially delicious, and we ate more than we should have. We would love to stay again.

It was a wonderful, long-established Accommodation.
This was a long-established, wonderful Accommodation in Izu Inatori. It was likely expanded over the years. The corridor ceiling heights varied slightly, but the sound of the waves was soothing, and we enjoyed a panoramic view of Sagami Bay. Many of the staff are from overseas, but their Japanese is excellent and their dedication really comes through. At our age, the meals were too generous for us to finish, but the simmered golden eye snapper (kinmedai) as the main dish was outstanding. We also appreciated how thoughtfully it was portioned for us. We were lucky to be able to make a Reservation when the Kawazu cherry blossoms were in full bloom, and just before Hinamatsuri.

The advertisement promised a seafood feast, but the meals were quite disappointing. It was a mistake.

Staying at Inatori T...
Staying at Inatori Tokai Hotel Yuen was an unforgettable experience, with the most impressive highlight being the breathtaking ocean view from the room and open-air baths. Opening the window revealed a vast expanse of Sagami Bay, creating a liberating feeling as if floating above the sea. Although my room did not have an open-air bath, the large public baths on the 5th and 3rd floors were conveniently close to my room and posed no inconvenience. The beauty of the sunset was truly exceptional, melting away daily fatigue. Soaking in Onsen while listening to the sound of waves was an unparalleled luxury. The warm hospitality of the staff added to this wonderful experience, making it a perfect stay for both body and mind. If I had to point out one drawback, it would be that views of the sea from some open-air baths were obstructed by frosted glass, which was slightly disappointing. Nevertheless, this accommodation offered satisfaction well beyond its price point!

Very satisfied!
We were surprised when our room was upgraded to a higher grade, but since the change was made at no additional cost, we gladly accepted it. The welcome drink included draft beer, which was a delightful service for beer lovers. We were fully satisfied with the food and other aspects of our stay.

For my mother's 88th birthday celebration
We stayed here to celebrate my mother's 88th birthday as she has difficulty walking. The room was on the 8th floor and featured an open-air bath with a lift. We chose this accommodation because of this bath. The room was barrier-free, had a great view, and was very comfortable. However, the lift only moved up and down, which wasn't quite what we expected. Still, with my daughter's help, we managed to get my mother into the bath safely. It required some effort—having her sit at the edge of the bath first, then moving her to align with the center of the machine while lifting her legs into the tub before operating it—but she was very happy in the end. The food and scenery were exceptional at this accommodation. The dishes included simmered golden-eye snapper (Kinmedai), a large sashimi platter featuring Ise lobster, grilled abalone, and other delicacies that allowed us to fully enjoy Izu's flavors. The bath also had a sauna with stunning views that my daughter and son thoroughly enjoyed as well. We would love to stay here again if given another opportunity!

Sisters' Trip
The thoughtful hospitality, delicious cuisine, comfortable room, and relaxing Onsen were all exceptional. I was extremely satisfied and able to relieve my fatigue and stress. I would love to visit again. Thank you very much!

Stayed for one night...
Stayed for one night from 8/8. The Room had a great view of the ocean from the bed, and the moonlight at night was beautiful. We chose a Room with an open-air bath, which allowed us to relax fully. The amenities were well-prepared, with several types of yukata available and even instructions on how to wear them, which was very helpful. The meals were plentiful and satisfying; however, some staff at the front desk and serving food were non-Japanese speakers, making it a bit difficult to understand their explanations about the dishes. I felt that having Japanese staff at the front desk might be better. While there were Japanese staff present, I noticed areas where more thorough training could improve service quality, which was disappointing.

I had a disappointing experience.
During dinner, an incident occurred where an alcoholic beverage was mistakenly served to an elementary school student. Since it was a sweet alcoholic drink, the child consumed all of it, resulting in vomiting and requiring the arrangement of an ambulance. Serving alcohol to minors is against the law. The Ryokan's response was reportedly to use straws as a measure. Personally, I strongly believe that more proactive measures, such as revising the drink menu, are urgently needed. The location and meals at the Ryokan are excellent. I hope it becomes an even better place in the future.

Beautiful Scenery and Relaxing Accommodation
The onsen with a view of the sea is exceptional. The warm hospitality always makes this accommodation relaxing. The breakfast was healthy, and the rice was delicious. I would love to visit again.

It was an accommodation I would like to visit again.
As the tagline "Accommodation with Stunning Onsen Views" suggests, we enjoyed breathtaking views of the beautiful sea and Izu Islands from both the onsen and our room. The cuisine met our expectations, featuring dishes like simmered Izu golden-eye snapper, spiny lobster, and fresh sashimi. The staff kindly served the golden-eye snapper in portions for us, which was much appreciated. The lobby offered complimentary drinks, snacks, and beer, allowing us to relax while gazing at the sea after an early check-in. We were fortunate to have our room upgraded. The view from the room, the semi-open-air bath in our room, as well as both the bedroom and Japanese-style space were immaculate and exceptional. We woke up early to watch a stunning sunrise from the balcony with an open-air bath. As part of a special suite privilege, we also enjoyed access to an esthetic treatment room where we experienced onsen water facial steaming. The hotel staff at both reception and restaurant were warm-hearted and attentive, providing excellent service throughout our stay. It has been challenging to find reasonably priced accommodations in Izu or Hakone that we'd want to revisit; however, this place is one we'd love to return to again—next time taking a leisurely stroll along the beach right in front of this hotel! Thank you very much!

About the Cuisine
I was drawn to the "Seafood Feast Accommodation" and made a reservation, but the sashimi lacked freshness, and the simmered golden eye snapper was terrible. I had delicious simmered golden eye snapper in Inatori before, so I went with high expectations, but the fish was dry and had an unpleasant smell. It seemed like they used frozen fish. I thought there would be no disappointments since I booked through IKYU.com, but it turned out to be a letdown. Additionally, the staff's hospitality upon arrival was poor, showing that this accommodation lacks proper training.

The cuisine is
The food was very delicious. There was so much that I couldn't finish it all by myself (laughs). The golden eye snapper was delicious. The Facility felt a bit old, but it was so clean that it didn't bother me much. The view from the Room was breathtaking. I would love to visit again if I have the chance.

The view is excellent.
The Hotel offers a good view of the horizon and the Izu Seven Islands from the Room, but the interior is old and different from the brochure!

For the first time in six years,
We stayed with a family of four (two elementary school children). It was our first time in six years due to COVID-19. We were very satisfied with the onsen and meals during our previous stay, so this was our long-awaited second stay. We used it at the beginning of the year. The hotel building feels old, but that's part of its charm as a long-established property. What made us happy was the welcome drink service! Having a beer while looking at the sea upon arrival was the best. This time, we splurged on a room with an open-air bath. The renovated room was very stylish, with mineral water, coffee, and snacks in the room, and the bathroom was well-equipped with amenities. It was even better than before, and we were very satisfied. The onsen's large public bath is nice, but the charm of the room with an open-air bath is being able to relax and soak while watching the sea, which was very healing for both body and mind. At night, we enjoyed the starry sky, and the children were delighted. Since it was our second time, we got a special card to use the VIP room! There, we experienced a slightly upgraded space with a stone sauna, massage, and steam. However, the heating in the room wasn't working well, and it was a bit cold. It would be better if the stone sauna was a bit warmer. The long-awaited dinner was as expected, with delicious seafood, and the local simmered kinmedai was tasty! I remember being overwhelmed by the amount of food last time, and this time was just as expected. I think the children, who have grown since last time, will remember it this time! We will definitely visit again. Thank you for the lovely New Year's gift on our way home.

Private open-air bath
We used it for an anniversary trip. When we requested a plate, we were touched to receive a celebratory gift from the Hotel. Also, the Room was very clean, and the open-air bath was also clean. However, the bath water was hot, and we asked the front desk several times to lower the temperature, but the temperature hardly changed. We were looking forward to relaxing in the Onsen, but we could only enter for a moment. It's very disappointing that we paid a lot of money to reserve a Room with an open-air bath.

The food is delicious, the room is clean, and the Onsen is nice.
The dishes made with fresh ingredients and satisfying portions were excellent. I was relieved to be able to enjoy the Onsen in the room without any issues, and the Plan included free use of a private bath, which was a great change of pace and very satisfying. The drink menu also had a sake tasting option, which was nice. The staff, who seemed to be foreigners, spoke polite Japanese and served accurately, making the stay comfortable. The beautiful ornaments and decorations placed here and there were also a feast for the eyes. My friend highly recommended this Hotel, and staying here was the right choice. It became a wonderful memory. Thank you very much.

Showa-era hot spring inn
The room has been renovated, but since it is basically a building from the Showa or Heisei era, it feels old and dirty. It's hard to determine whether paying nearly 30,000 yen for a room with an open-air bath is cheap or expensive. There are many foreign employees, so there is no sense of Japanese tranquility. The Japanese women at the front desk and guides are also unfriendly, and their unclear, commanding explanations of the facilities made me feel uncomfortable as soon as I entered. We booked for three people, and although they explained at check-in that one bed would be prepared during dinner, it wasn't ready when we returned from the meal. During dinner, the dishes were served quickly, making it difficult to enjoy a leisurely meal. The older of the two elevators has doors that close too quickly, making it very dangerous, and the floors are very dirty. This is an accommodation that does not convey a sense of hospitality.

Various disappointments.
When I tried to have a welcome drink at check-in, only hot water came out from the coffee machine, and I had to wait until it was fixed. When I went back to check, a staff member made a comment implying it was my fault, saying the coffee didn't come out because I pressed the power button. I am familiar with using machines due to my profession, and I only pressed the extraction button. However, since the staff member said it with a smug look, I just replied, "I see, sorry." It was painful to watch the staff scrambling as if only certain staff members could fix the machine. I think if there were written instructions on how to operate it, anyone could understand, and there wouldn't have been any mistakes. The room was quite different from the photos, with a cramped and dark color scheme. Even though I upgraded, I wasn't satisfied. The room's safe was dusty, the key didn't work, and it was broken, so I couldn't use it. Additionally, the cleaning was noticeably sloppy, with fingerprints on the window glass and dust left on the toilet exhaust fan, which dampened my mood. Usually, I can overlook such things, but this time it was beyond acceptable. Overall, only the disappointing aspects left an impression. Compared to other accommodations in a similar price range I've visited, there hasn't been a hotel with such careless attention to detail. I mentioned this to the staff at check-out, but their response was a casual "sorry." Perhaps because customer perceptions vary, I felt the hotel was accustomed to apologizing.

Old but otherwise good.
It was older than I expected, but everything else was good. The service was polite, the place was clean, the food was delicious, and the hot springs were pleasant, making it a satisfying stay overall. Perhaps due to cost reasons, the younger staff were foreigners, but they all worked hard on their Japanese and served with constant smiles. While I did feel the age of the building, the effort they put into doing their best within their means was evident, and it was a comfortable place to stay. Especially the hairdryer! (laughs) Whether an old inn is good or not is a personal point for me, and they had a certain brand's hairdryer with proper airflow. Old inns that skimp on this tend to cut corners on cleaning and service, but here, they paid close attention to ensure guests could stay comfortably. The open-air bath in the room was a free-flowing hot spring, so I could enjoy a nice bath multiple times without worrying about the time. The meals were plentiful, and I actually ate too much. The free drinks at check-in and check-out were also nice. I am grateful for the bus shuttle service, even though I was the only passenger. Right in front was a spectacular view of the sea. I could relax while listening to the sound of the waves. It was an inn I would like to visit again. It's within walking distance from the station, so maybe I'll visit in winter next time? I look forward to it then.

Relaxed and full.
A typhoon was expected to approach, but since my goal was to relax in the hot springs, I decided to go. I didn't expect much since it was a casual hotel, but perhaps that was a good thing because it turned out to be a surprisingly comfortable one-night stay. My room was upgraded to a newly renovated space. The ocean view is wonderful. Both the open-air bath in the room and the large public bath were not too hot and not crowded, making them comfortable! I ended up taking a bath five times. Both dinner and breakfast were standard but very filling. Although I felt the service was somewhat lacking, I think it was sufficient for a casual hotel. I was a little concerned that the simmered golden eye snapper at dinner was dry and the grated yam at breakfast was too sour. After the typhoon passed, the sea was calm, so I went to the free beach right in front of the hotel after breakfast. It's a rocky area, but it's as calm as a pool, the water is clear, and there are many fish, making it enjoyable. The large public bath is open until 9 a.m., but since the open-air bath in the room can be used until checkout, I was able to take a shower and soak in the hot spring, feeling refreshed as I headed home. The drawstring bag I received as a souvenir is cute. I was sent off with a smile from the front desk staff, making it a satisfying stay.
