    Family Trip

    I visited Kurokawa Onsen for the first time with my mother, who lives alone. With so many Accommodations to choose from, it was hard to decide, but I’m glad we chose this one. We made a Reservation for the “Sazanka” Room. Located near the front desk, it offered easy access to the rear entrance, the indoor bath (private family bath), the dining area, and the open-air bath. The balcony facing the river had a wonderful view, and in the morning we woke up to the sound of flowing water. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious and more than enough for all three of us—we had a truly lovely mother-and-child trip. I take my mother to an Onsen area every year, and she said this was the best one yet. Thank you very much.

    I had a relaxing time.

    The staff greeted us with warm smiles. They informed us about the chance to see fireflies at night, and when we went to check it out after our bath, we were amazed by the numerous fireflies. We also appreciated that the lighting was dimmed for better viewing. The Room was spacious, and both the private bath and large public bath were excellent.

    It was a highly satisfying stay. There were six private baths available for free, and I used all of them. Personally, I liked the rock bath the most. The quality of the hot spring water was excellent. Additionally, the meals were extremely delicious. This is a Ryokan I would definitely like to visit again. Thank you very much!

    A property where you can leisurely enjoy Kurokawa Onsen.

    This was my third visit to Kurokawa Onsen. I had visited during the summer before, but this time it was a stay in December when the cold was severe. Yamabiko Ryokan was different from the previous properties I stayed at, and it was my first time being taken care of here. In a quiet environment, especially the Sennin Bath, the water temperature was just right, and I was able to enjoy a slow bath in the slightly milky onsen to warm my body. Additionally, I was satisfied with the six private baths that I could use without worrying about time. The dining area is a private room type for each room, so I could enjoy my meals without worrying about other guests. Overall, the property is not flashy, but I think it is suitable for quietly and slowly enjoying Kurokawa Onsen.
