It was a truly wonderful stay.
The room was spacious, with enough space for two 28-inch suitcases. The bed was soft and comfortable, the amenities were plentiful, and the room had an open, unobstructed view. An underground passage beneath the building connects directly to the Midosuji Line. Getting around was easy, and Shinsaibashi-suji Shopping Street, Daimaru Department Store, and PARCO were all a short walk away, making it convenient for shopping.

Not quite perfect, but another very satisfying stay!
I had such a comfortable stay in June that I booked again. After checking in and entering my room, I encountered an issue on the hotel’s part. It did not bother me much, though it was surprising. Someone I believe was from housekeeping called to apologize and offer an additional service. I was impressed by how well the staff reported the issue and shared information. Had there also been a brief apology at checkout, the service would have felt on par with that of an international luxury hotel. That was the only missed opportunity. Overall, though, I was very satisfied with this stay as well.

The Trusted Gate Hotel Brand
I really loved the local Gate Hotel restaurant, so I chose this hotel for my stay in Osaka, expecting it to be just as wonderful. The location is excellent with direct access from Shinsaibashi Subway Station; the building is new; the room was spacious and functional; and the view was fantastic—I was very satisfied. When staying in Osaka, I would definitely like to stay here again, and I would also love to use The Gate Hotel wherever else it is available. The staff’s polished and pleasant service deserves high praise.

A new hotel with excellent service
The staff were very helpful, and we had a comfortable stay. The breakfast soup was delicious, and although the buffet selection was limited, we were satisfied. It was also great that the bathroom was separate from the toilet! We would like to stay here again.

A New Masterpiece from The Gate Hotel, Wrapped in Osaka’s Night Views
I’ve stayed at The Gate Hotel many times, and every property offers excellent quality for the price, making it one of my favorite hotel brands. Among them, the Osaka location I stayed at this time felt especially outstanding. First of all, as a new hotel, the interior is very clean. The design is refined and feels both vibrant and upscale, yet the rates are not overly expensive. For this price point, being able to enjoy such a luxurious atmosphere makes it one of the best values in Osaka right now. The location is also excellent—convenient for getting around and for dining—making it a very practical base for an Osaka stay. What I particularly loved was the guests-only lounge. At night, the lights of Osaka spread out below, and the view is truly beautiful. Being able to unwind after returning to the hotel while enjoying that scenery was a major highlight. That said, because it’s a guests-only lounge, when you use it casually you may be offered paid drinks or menu items, so at first I found myself wondering whether anything was complimentary at all. If this were explained more clearly, it would feel easier to relax without hesitation. Even with that minor point aside, the overall quality of the hotel is extremely high. A new and beautiful interior, a gorgeous atmosphere, an excellent location, and a lounge where you can enjoy Osaka’s night views—while still being reasonably priced for this class of hotel. I’ve always felt The Gate Hotel delivers satisfaction beyond its price range, and this Osaka property was especially memorable among them. I would definitely like to stay here again when visiting Osaka.

This has become a Hotel I will definitely want to stay at whenever I travel to Osaka.
This is a wonderful hotel in every way—access, the view from the lobby, and the staff’s hospitality. With direct access to Shinsaibashi Station and located inside the station building, it’s extremely convenient. Above all, the panoramic view from the 26th-floor lobby was stunning. It offers a different atmosphere during the day and at night, making it feel like a special escape. The staff’s service was also excellent, and we were very satisfied with our stay. Next time, we’d like to try breakfast as well. Thank you very much for everything. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Osaka.

The medicinal breakfast was very delicious! The Room, the restaurant, and the rooftop restaurant all had a wonderful atmosphere—this was a lovely Hotel. I would like to stay again.

A Hotel I’d Like to Stay at Again
I stayed here for a live concert. I usually use the club floor at a Hotel I always choose and have liked it, but since I’m often out until late and can’t make frequent use of the lounge, I had been looking for other Hotels. This is a new Hotel, and since I had stayed at one in Tokyo before, I booked it as a trial. The result: I was extremely satisfied. The staff were very courteous, the Room was highly functional and easy to use, transportation access was convenient, the view from the bar was great, and for one day we added Japanese cuisine for an additional fee, which was delicious. There are also many good restaurants around the Hotel area, so finding places to eat is never a problem. My daughter and I said, “We’ll stay here again next time.” I will definitely return.

A Hotel I’d Love to Stay at Again
A newly opened Hotel with a new building and Rooms, making it very comfortable. The views from the front lobby and the lounge and bar on the 28th floor were amazing, and the night scenery was beautiful. The interior had a sophisticated, stylish design. It was great to enjoy complimentary drinks and snacks in the lounge. The rooftop bar was wonderful, and we could relax while taking in Osaka’s night views. The location was also excellent—very convenient for shopping and going out—and I would like to stay again.

My Daughter’s First Hotel Stay
We stayed here for my wife’s birthday, and since it was our daughter’s first Hotel stay, I was quite anxious after making the Reservation. However, at check-in, the staff kindly offered to provide extra towels and showed great consideration in many ways. We also entered the breakfast venue with a stroller, and they guided us to a spacious private-room-like area where there was plenty of space for it, so we were able to relax and enjoy our meal. We were amazed by the Osaka cityscape visible from our room, and including the service, we felt again that choosing this Hotel was the right decision.

A wonderful Hotel that makes you want to stay again
Thank you for upgrading our Room, which made our stay very comfortable. After working up a sweat at the gym, we took a shower and headed to the lounge. The champagne we enjoyed while feeling the evening breeze became a wonderful travel memory. The freshly cooked rice at breakfast was also delicious, and the hospitality of all the staff was impeccable. This is an outstanding Hotel that I would consider number one among all the Hotels I have stayed at so far. When visiting Osaka, I would definitely like to stay here again.

We had a great time.
I stayed here with my daughter. I’ve stayed at many hotels and have also used exclusive lounges. However, I was told that this lounge is available to all guests, so I honestly worried it might be noisy with children running around. But it wasn’t like that at all—we were able to relax in a quiet atmosphere while enjoying the beautiful view. I’ve already made a Multiple Night Stay Reservation for the end of the year, so I hope you will keep it clean and peaceful. If possible, I would be happy if there were parking available (including partner parking). Looking forward to staying again at the end of the year.

We had a wonderful stay.
From the moment I arrived at the 26th-floor lobby and the elevator doors opened, it felt as if I had stepped into another world. Through the high ceilings, I enjoyed an unobstructed panoramic view of the Osaka Plain. The front desk staff’s effortless gestures and choice of words made me certain this would be a wonderful stay. Thank you for another lovely stay, just as in Kyoto.

Outstanding views and excellent access
The moment I arrived at the front desk, I was excited by the view right in front of me. I wish I had gone to see it at night as well. I had breakfast on the 26th floor and was lucky to be seated by the window, so the view there was great too. My Room was on the 16th floor, and I was surprised that I could clearly hear a street musician performing. Since it’s along Midosuji Avenue, it can’t be helped, but there was also some motorcycle noise. The location is excellent, and since it’s not an issue with the Hotel itself, it can’t be helped—but when it was quiet, it was wonderful.

My expectations were too high.
It was great to be able to get there without getting wet in the rain, as it’s located above the station. The toilet and bathroom being separate also made it very convenient to use.

It was quiet and nice.
The front desk, lounge, and guest rooms were all on the upper floors, so the views were amazing. We chose the Japanese breakfast, and everything was delicious. The portions were a bit large, though, and my companion couldn’t finish it. The room was a comfortable size and very relaxing. It was disappointing that we couldn’t stream YouTube or other subscription services on the TV. Instead, we enjoyed listening to music on a Bluetooth speaker. It was great to have both sleepwear and a bathrobe, but there was hair stuck to the bath towel, which was the only unpleasant part… I had already undressed so I gave up on asking for a replacement. We came to Osaka to celebrate our wedding anniversary and visit museums, and overall it was a wonderful stay. Thank you for taking care of us.

A Great Location and a Relaxing Atmosphere
I stayed here during a business trip to Osaka and for dinner with friends. After dinner, I took them to the rooftop bar, and they were delighted by the night view from the 28th floor—it really got the conversation going. When I returned to my Room and took a breather, I noticed several thoughtful touches that made it easy to relax: dimmable lighting in the Room; a bathtub with a recessed headrest that feels like a bath pillow; and a counter-style desk by the window where you can enjoy a decaf drink while taking in the night view. These may seem like small details for a new Hotel, but they made my stay very comfortable. With direct elevator access to Shinsaibashi Station on the subway, it goes without saying how much I appreciated having extra time in the morning.

Enjoy breathtaking views all to yourself from Shinsaibashi.
A highly rated Gate Hotel, well known in Kyoto and other cities. I stayed here because it has been creating a buzz as a newly opened Hotel right in the heart of Osaka. The view from the high-floor lobby is exceptional and instantly lifts your spirits from check-in. At the top-floor lounge, which all guests can use, you can enjoy breathtaking scenery along with carefully brewed coffee or tea prepared cup by cup. With so many lounges being self-service these days, the attentive service here felt truly comfortable. Breakfast is served in separate venues for Japanese and Western options; this time I chose the Japanese breakfast in the lounge. It was very filling and offered a highly satisfying selection. The Room features a smart layout and stylish interior, and the spectacular view from the window is soothing. This Hotel is perfectly located to enjoy beautiful views of Osaka’s cityscape from many different spots. The staff’s hospitality was outstanding—highly recommended!

It was excellent.
I stayed here with my daughter for a relaxing hotel getaway. I had high expectations because of the great reviews and because it’s a newly opened Gate Hotel, and it exceeded them. The view from the lobby on the 26th floor of the sparkling new building in Shinsaibashi was breathtaking, and the views from our Room and the lounge were excellent as well. The furniture and Room design were also wonderful. The Hotel staff were pleasant and welcoming at check-in, at the bar, and in the lounge. We only had breakfast, choosing Japanese breakfast in the lounge, and it was truly delicious—we were very satisfied. The lounge available to all guests was spacious and never felt crowded, so every visit felt elegant and relaxing. The night view from the lounge was also beautiful. The entire building where the Hotel is located has many great shops and restaurants, so even on a very hot midsummer day we could enjoy ourselves without going out much. If I have another chance, I would definitely like to stay again.

My daughter fell ill, but the staff were very considerate and supportive, which was a great help. Thank you very much. Of course, the Facility was new and clean, and we were able to relax in the lounge as well. The bar in the evening had a lovely atmosphere, and we truly enjoyed a leisurely Hotel stay.

Escape the everyday and recharge.
The lobby is on the 26th floor and is wonderful with its large windows. The Room also had a great view. There are two sinks, and bath salts are provided, but there are no cleansing products (makeup remover, etc.). I happened to have some from another Hotel in my pouch, but I’d like this to be clearly stated. The lounge is on the 28th floor and is quiet, so you can relax with soft drinks and snacks. I also enjoyed the Diamond benefit sparkling wine at a separate sky terrace. The northern night view is gorgeous, but it was hot and noisy this time, so the lounge felt more spacious and relaxing. There’s a small grocery store on the 1st floor, so even with No Meals Included it’s more than enough. For breakfast, I chose the Japanese set in the lounge because it had good Reviews, but it wasn’t as good as I expected. The rolled omelet and rice cooked in a clay pot were delicious, but instead of simmered pork belly in the morning, I would prefer lighter dishes. For fish, I prefer grilled with salt rather than Saikyo miso. You can choose the buffet as well. It was also disappointing that the miso soup was lukewarm. This time I was able to stay at a great price by using a coupon.

It was excellent. I think it’s among the best in Osaka. At the Western-style breakfast venue in the morning, I couldn’t find where the salad was at first, so I think some guidance is needed.

There is nothing unpleasant.
I have no complaints. I think it’s a wonderful Hotel. I was very impressed with how our requests were handled and with the guidance from check-in to the elevator. The location, security, and view were all excellent—I was very satisfied. From now on, I think this is the only Hotel I’ll stay at in Osaka.

A Cozy Hotel
The view from the lobby and the Room was wonderful. It was convenient with direct access to the subway. I was surprised that the Room pajamas did not have a front opening. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

About the Front Desk Staff
As the Hotel has only recently opened, the front desk service felt unpolished. Even while I was checking in, staff were chatting among themselves, which was unpleasant, and there was no explanation or service regarding Diamond member benefits. Since the Hotel is directly connected to Shinsaibashi Station, has an excellent location, and offers beautiful night views, I may stay again. I hope the front desk staff will be better trained by my next visit.

Excellent location! Amazing Japanese breakfast! Disappointing pajamas...
I had high expectations after hearing a new Hotel had opened in Shinsaibashi, and I was able to stay for one night at a great rate through IKYU. We also enjoyed the perks—sparkling wine, chocolates, and late check-out—which made for a very relaxing stay. The direct access to the station was incredibly convenient, right in the heart of Shinsaibashi, and the view from the 26th-floor lobby was amazing. What was disappointing was that our west-facing Room got intense afternoon sun, so we ended up keeping the shades down from check-in until evening. Also, noise from cars—especially loud vehicles at night coming from the Midosuji Line area—echoed more than expected and bothered us. Most disappointing of all: there was only one pajama size available. It was far too small for my husband (he is not overweight and normally wears men’s size L). Since it’s an over-the-head style rather than front-opening, he couldn’t even put it on (we quickly bought one nearby at UNIQLO). Even for me (162 cm tall and usually wearing women’s size M), it didn’t feel particularly roomy. (I confirmed with the front desk just in case, but they said there is only one size for all.) I saw a Review posted soon after opening recommending the Japanese breakfast, so I chose it without hesitation—and thanks to that helpful Review, it did not disappoint. Freshly cooked rice; freshly rolled dashimaki tamago; freshly grilled black cod; Osaka-style niku-sui with tofu; and many other delicious items in small portions. Thank you for such a pleasant morning on the 28th floor with its great views through floor-to-ceiling windows. The coffee cup was so large that I was shocked by how much coffee it held! I felt bad about it, but I ended up leaving quite a lot. It felt wasteful—I wish there were an option to choose cup size. Lastly, checking out directly from the Room went smoothly and was very helpful.

This is the best Hotel.
I’ve been staying at newly opened Hotels one after another to enjoy a break from everyday life, and among them, this Hotel is truly top-class. Although the price is relatively affordable, it provided a wonderfully relaxing space. I booked a Plan with breakfast, and it may well be the best Japanese breakfast. Freshly cooked rice, freshly made rolled omelet, and freshly grilled Saikyo-yaki—everything was delicious, and the wide variety of dishes was impressive. I want to recommend it to everyone.
