The best Onsen Accommodation in the city center, yet quiet and relaxing

From welcome to farewell, the hospitality was outstanding, and every staff member assisted us sincerely at a very high level. The property is quiet, calm, and comfortable—hard to believe you’re in Ginza. A highly functional Room where attention to detail is evident throughout and everything feels thoughtfully designed. We also appreciated the semi-open-air style indoor bath spacious enough to lie back in, as well as the dimmable lighting system in the washroom. Above all, the cuisine was exceptional—fresh ingredients paired with unexpected combinations and seasonings that delighted us. The rooftop footbath and free-flow drinks were perfect for us. With not a single negative point during our stay, we can’t stop thinking about visiting other “Fufu” properties. Next time, we might choose “Jogashima.”

    Exceptional sushi and baths.

The sushi, carefully hand-formed, was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The course lineup was also excellent. The Room’s Onsen bath was truly one of a kind in Tokyo.

I stayed here to celebrate the birthday of someone who has helped me, along with our summer vacation. Being able to take off your shoes and relax like at a Ryokan made me feel at ease from the moment I arrived. The bathroom was more than spacious enough, and I truly enjoyed the Onsen. Since breakfast can be enjoyed in loungewear, I ended up taking it even easier than expected. It’s rare to find a Hotel in Tokyo where spending time in the Room feels this comfortable. One night isn’t enough—I’d love to come back for a Multiple Night Stay next time.

    Three-Generation Family Trip

Although this Hotel is directly connected to Ginza-itchome Station, once you step inside, you no longer feel the bustle of Ginza at all—time passes in peaceful quiet. The bathwater in the Room is said to be brought daily from Atami; it’s a spacious, comfortable bath where you can feel the warmth of wood. Breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, and the rice cooked in a clay pot was delicious. The staff were cheerful and kind even to infants. At check-in they asked for my grandchildren’s names, and during meals they addressed them by name, creating a warm atmosphere. It was only one night, but the time I spent at this Hotel left me feeling refreshed and renewed.

    A Heartwarming Accommodation

I stay here whenever I visit Tokyo. With excellent access, you can take off your shoes at the entrance and step into your Room, which also features an Onsen—making it wonderfully relaxing, as if you were visiting a hot spring resort while staying in Ginza. The staff are very warm and welcoming, and the delicious breakfast is served in a private room, making for a comfortable experience. I think this is the best Accommodation for refreshing and relaxing right in the heart of the city.

Enjoy a quiet moment in Ginza.

Although it is a little away from Ginza 4-chome, I was surprised to find such a quiet Hotel in Ginza. The staff who welcomed us were courteous yet warm and homey, and the moment we entered the Hotel, I felt my nervousness about visiting for the first time melt away. I am also deeply grateful to the butler who kindly gave us detailed directions to a shop we were unsure how to reach. Even though it was already evening, it was still hot, and when they realized we would need to walk about 800 meters to our destination, they provided us with bottled water. When we returned—though it was a different person from the one who guided us—they asked, “Were you able to get there without getting lost?” I can’t express enough how thankful I am. The Room was impeccably clean, and the single-stem flower arrangement was lovely. (I also loved that the light switches are represented by phases of the moon.) I have stayed at many Hotels before, but the nightwear here was completely different—comfortable to wear and stylishly designed—which made me very happy. The in-Room Onsen was also extremely comfortable and helped relieve my fatigue. Breakfast was wonderful as well; everything was delicious. (My daughter especially liked the “Koto-jiru” soup.) Both my daughter and I would love to visit again. We look forward to staying with you next time.

The ultimate relaxing retreat—perfect for an unforgettable parent-and-child getaway!

Following stays at Fufu Nikko, Atami, Hakone, and Jogashima, we were also able to stay in Ginza. There is nothing but complete satisfaction with everything—the Room, the bath, and the meals. Although we have stayed at Fufu many times, we felt thoughtfulness and warmth everywhere, and it was one moving moment after another. Being able to enjoy a drink while soaking in the footbath and taking in the city views truly felt like Ginza. My mother is currently undergoing treatment, but staying at Fufu also helps boost her immunity. We can only be grateful that we were able to spend such a happy time together as parent and child. I would like to express my sincere thanks to the General Manager and all of the staff who assisted us. We will visit again later this year. We look forward to seeing you all again.

This was our second stay, and just like last time, it was wonderful. My family who came with me couldn’t stop praising it. Since my mother is turning 77, I’d love to come back again to celebrate her birthday.

There are some good points, and some not-so-good ones.

The in-room bath is spacious and very nice. Being in the heart of Tokyo and still being able to relax in an Atami Onsen feels like a luxury. The rooftop footbath Facility was also playful and fun. The Facility, Room, and bath were all excellent. Two disappointing points: the quality of dinner and the service from non-Japanese staff. At the in-house restaurant Ginza Gayu, the meat quality was not great. Both the wagyu and duck loin were tough, sinewy, and hard to chew; two companions agreed. Another issue was that a staff member who could not understand Japanese handled the payment, so it did not go smoothly. Even though many Japanese staff were available, it made me wonder why. This place may be better suited for inbound travelers.

We stayed here as a couple to celebrate a birthday.

We stayed as a couple to celebrate a birthday. After we mentioned this in advance, you kindly provided such thoughtful service and consideration. Once again, we were deeply impressed by the wonderful hospitality of your Accommodation. Thank you very much. It became a truly wonderful and memorable stay for both of us. Thanks to you, dinner was excellent and delicious. Thank you. With many foreign-owned Hotels entering Ginza in recent years, we feel it is truly valuable and delightful that a Japanese Onsen Accommodation like this has opened in Ginza. At the rooftop footbath terrace as well, the attentive service from the staff was outstanding, and we were able to spend a very meaningful time there. The Comfort-type Room we were shown differed from the terrace bed photo image; with single beds set up, there wasn’t really space for two people to relax together, which was slightly disappointing. However, the in-room Onsen bath was very spacious and thoughtfully designed to add great value, so we were very satisfied overall. We heard that guests staying in Rooms ranked above Comfort can change dinner to in-room dining. If it becomes possible in the future—regardless of Room type—to arrange this service with an additional fee, we would be very happy. Also, although you introduced us to the souvenir shop corner, I forgot to make a purchase. Would it be possible to visit again just for shopping? We would definitely like to stay at your Hotel again when we have another opportunity. Thank you very much for your wonderful hospitality and thoughtful care during our stay. A highly recommended Accommodation Hotel.

Thank you very much for your exceptional hospitality.

I invited a friend for a day-use stay to celebrate their birthday, but when we arrived at the Hotel, they suddenly started feeling unwell. Thanks to the staff’s courteous and prompt assistance, my friend was able to rest in the Room. Later, they recovered and we were able to enjoy a bath and have dinner in the Room as well, for which we are truly grateful. It is a wonderful Hotel with swift, appropriate service and genuine hospitality. I would definitely like to stay again.

    The bath is excellent.

I have stayed here several times. Above all, the bath is excellent—spacious and very warming. The Room is also clean, and you can relax in a quiet environment. However, compared with when it first opened, the service in the rooftop footbath area has declined. It was difficult to walk through the footbath zone while carrying a tray, and no one was using it. Also, this Hotel has nowhere to get coffee outside of meals. The Room only has one drip coffee each, so even though you want to relax, you have no choice but to go out and buy some. It’s not available via room service either. At other Fufu properties, my impression is that these services are better provided, so this was very disappointing. Lastly, the food was delicious. After the meal, they brought coffee to my Room, which allowed me to relax a little—thank you very much.

    Consistently high-quality hospitality

We were greeted by name upon arriving by car, and I was impressed that the information had been communicated properly. From start to finish, the hospitality of all the staff throughout the property was pleasant, and we enjoyed a relaxing and satisfying vacation. We ordered the drink pairing with our dinner course and truly enjoyed it. If I may add one suggestion, a bit more explanation about each drink would have made it even more enjoyable. At other Fufu properties in Atami and Nikko, we received more guidance during pairings, which enhanced the experience.

    We recommend sushi.

I’d long been curious what an Onsen in Ginza would be like, so I stayed one night with the sushi course. Given the location, you can’t really expect great views, but the Room was simply designed and very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and had plenty of Onsen water (I was told it is brought in from Atami). It’s in-room only; there is no public bath. Before dinner, you can enjoy light snacks and drinks at the open rooftop footbath. The fresh sushi, prepared right in front of us by the chef, was outstanding across the board. The pacing of each course was just right, making for a very satisfying dinner. I highly recommend the sushi dinner! The late-night tempura udon was also delicious, with a rich broth and freshly fried tempura. Although it’s a Japanese-style Ryokan, they also offer room service, which I really appreciated as someone with a big appetite. Breakfast was served in a spacious private room where we could take our time. The sweet miso-based “Koto-jiru” soup was unique, and the white rice cooked in an earthenware pot was excellent. Service struck the perfect balance—attentive without being intrusive—so we could truly relax. Thanks to everyone for a wonderful stay!

    An Oasis in the City

Despite being in the heart of Ginza, this was a wonderful Hotel where I could enjoy a very peaceful stay. The Room was neither too large nor too small—just the right size, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing. What impressed me most was the in-room bath. It features natural Onsen water brought from Atami, and it was so spacious and beautifully designed that it hardly felt like a city Hotel. Being able to soak in an Onsen like this in Ginza feels truly luxurious. I was also very satisfied with the Japanese cuisine. Each dish was carefully prepared with great attention to detail, and everything—from the flavors and presentation to the overall pacing—was excellent. It was an extremely satisfying stay where you can enjoy both the convenience of the city and the relaxation of an Onsen Ryokan at the same time. I would definitely like to return.

An Onsen Accommodation in the Heart of the City

This Onsen Accommodation feels like a different world from a Hotel. It has become my favorite Accommodation in Tokyo. On the rooftop, you can soak in the foot bath while enjoying complimentary alcoholic drinks, but perhaps because it improves circulation, the alcohol hits you faster. I learned that about half of my usual amount is just right. Even though I made a bit of a fool of myself, I’m grateful to all the staff around me for their kindness. The food is delicious, and the baths are spacious—you can truly feel pampered.

Night views from the dining area, and a relaxing Onsen Accommodation stay in your Room

It was my first time using the dining venue, and I enjoyed Japanese cuisine with a beautiful night view. I was also able to relax and refresh in the Onsen in my Room. I liked the staff’s service. I will visit again.

    This was my first st...

This was my first stay. I don’t understand why I was questioned outside upon arrival. In the cold, while carrying luggage, being asked various things—what is the point? Especially for a Multiple Night Stay, it feels pointless. It seems like they want to screen guests, but there should be a more appropriate way to do it. Even then, it felt more like an interrogation than hospitality. It was very unpleasant. As for the Room, not only are there issues with power outlets, but it’s also not an environment where you can do even a little work—please keep that in mind. There was no clear explanation about locking the Room door; everything was vague. When going out, I couldn’t tell whether I should leave the Room key at the front desk—and on top of that, the front desk didn’t seem to know where the key was either. The upstairs foot bath was nice, but the drink service closes fairly early. Also, since there are no amenities in this Hotel, it’s basically just for bathing and sleeping.

I was able to relax and enjoy an elegant stay with Onsen in the heart of the city.

Having an Onsen Accommodation directly connected to Ginza-itchome Station was a rare and wonderful experience. We stayed in a suite, and they arranged an adjacent connecting Room for my mother who came with us. It can be surprisingly difficult for family members to go back and forth between separate Rooms, and before you know it everyone ends up spending time on their own. The connecting Room solved that perfectly—it was fantastic. We could come and go easily, and I feel it brought my mother (who traveled from Osaka) much closer to our children. What deserves special mention is the Reservation support. We originally planned to stay one night, but a sudden change meant we needed a Multiple Night Stay. I asked the property knowing it might be difficult, and at first they said it would be hard—understandably, as this is the heart of Ginza even on weekdays, so availability seemed unlikely. Then after check-in, while I was desperately searching for another place to stay the next night, the phone in our Room rang—it was the front desk. They had adjusted things so we could extend in the same Room for a Multiple Night Stay. It was such a relief, and truly helpful. After that we relaxed in the Room. The bath area was spacious with a washing area as well, so we could unwind comfortably. The terrace had a large sofa set up—an amazing moment to relax while looking out over Ginza. We enjoyed dinner via in-room dining; the menu felt slightly limited, but there was plenty of food and we were satisfied. I was also impressed by their dish return method—something I’ve never seen at any other Hotel—and how thoughtfully it protected privacy. Since our child is still small, I also appreciated their flexibility with breakfast timing. In the morning when we went to the restaurant, being welcomed by all staff members was genuinely moving—and it meant a lot that they remembered our child’s name. We had so many memorable moments here. I’m happy there’s such a wonderful Accommodation nearby. We’ll be back again.

    Second Stay

This stay was wonderful once again. Breakfast and dinner were as delicious as ever. The bath in our Room was spacious, and both the kids and adults used it four times—it felt amazing. At check-in, the staff greeted us by calling our child’s name just from seeing our faces, which made us very happy. We were also impressed that something we requested via room service during our previous stay had already been prepared this time before we even asked. Also, without going into details, we truly appreciate how you accommodated us due to our circumstances. Our child keeps saying, “Hehe—this is a god-tier Hotel!” (laugh). We’ll definitely come back to stay again!

    At the very end

I was satisfied with everything about this stay until checkout. I chose to have breakfast served in the Room, but I was told it could only be delivered around 9:40, which pushed my schedule back, and I was rushing to get ready. In the middle of that hectic time, a female front desk staff member repeatedly pressured me, saying she had come to pick up my courier package. The constant urging and insistence became unbearable. The first time, I told her I would contact them once I had finished packing the parcel. However, she continued to contact me persistently. At payment as well, I explained that I have lower back pain and wanted to enter my card PIN from a closer position, but she said nothing—no apology—and instead glared at me and spoke in a sarcastic manner. I am extremely disappointed that the checkout process was rushed so much that it became stressful and exhausting. I had been looking forward to this trip, but I will never stay here again. It was unusual to see such poor hospitality for a newly opened Hotel—staff training seemed seriously lacking. I have never written a Review like this before, but this behavior was far too rude. The female front desk staff member (listed as Ms. Uda on the receipt) needs improvement and proper training. This is unacceptable for Hotel staff.

The Facility, the front desk, and the breakfast service were wonderful. Everyone was very kind to our one-year-old child as well, and we are truly grateful. We were able to enjoy an extraordinary experience that didn’t feel like Ginza at all. The only thing that felt odd was the service on the footbath floor: we were given only negative remarks such as being told to be careful not to get the loaned outerwear wet, that it was self-service, and that taking it back to the Room was not allowed. We had borrowed the smallest size available, but we were also asked whether it might have been mistaken for an L size because I am short. I understand they don’t want it to get wet, but it left me feeling uncomfortable. Because everything else was so excellent, it stood out in my memory.

A refined anniversary stay wrapped in tranquility

Despite being in the heart of the city, I was able to spend a quiet and relaxing time. From check-in to check-out, the staff’s attentive service and comfortable sense of distance made the stay feel truly cared for. Both dinner and breakfast were thoughtfully prepared with well-balanced flavors, and the eel at breakfast was especially memorable. The Room and Onsen were also very clean, and I felt this is a rare Accommodation in Tokyo where you can relax this much. I stayed for an anniversary, and I appreciated the subtle thoughtful touches—it became a wonderful memory. If I have the chance, I would definitely like to return.

    The Best Ryokan

Having stayed at several "Fufu" accommodations in Nikko, Atami, Nara, and Kawaguchiko, our family might just be Fufu enthusiasts! We were excited to stay at the newly opened Fufu Tokyo. Despite being shortly after its opening, the staff's training was impeccable. The rooftop shared space with a foot bath and drinks was a delightful touch, and the room featured a terrace seating area that made it easy to forget we were in Ginza. It was truly a relaxing facility. While we didn’t have dinner here this time, the breakfast stood out as one of the best among all accommodations we've stayed at in Tokyo. The Japanese-style breakfast included miso soup served hot pot style, which my husband particularly enjoyed. With its variety of dishes that were visually stunning and deliciously prepared, along with excellent service and facilities, this accommodation exceeded expectations. We would love to stay here again!
