A Hotel I Don’t Want to Tell Anyone About, but Still Highly Recommend

This stay was simply outstanding in every way. Even though I don’t play golf, this is a Hotel that truly heals you—and one I definitely want to return to. Parking is free with valet service. Guests can enjoy barista-made coffee and soft drinks in the lounge as many times as they like. From the Room, we had a beautiful view of the golf course and a large pool, with the ocean visible in the distance—just looking out was so relaxing. The bathroom feels seamlessly connected to the Room when you open the door, and you can even pull out the TV to watch from the bath. The amenities were L’OCCITANE, and I loved that a full skincare set for both morning and night was provided. The attention to detail was impressive: a brush that doesn’t feel like typical amenities at all, a toothbrush with its own case inside a pouch with the PGM logo, fluffy cotton swabs—everything felt thoughtfully chosen. Above all, I was amazed by how thick and incredibly plush the slippers were! All drinks in the refrigerator were complimentary, and it’s OK to take home the water bottles, pool bag, and beach sandals. The turndown service also impressed me. The dinner buffet was delicious; prosciutto was sliced on the spot. There were plenty of cold dishes as well, and everything we tried tasted great. The staff noticed what we needed right away and took care of us promptly, making dining very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was also excellent—multiple kinds of smoothies and 100% juices! There were so many options that I couldn’t possibly try them all. Best of all, it’s available until 12:30 p.m., so we could take our time in the morning and feel truly pampered. Since it has only recently opened, there weren’t many people yet—it was quiet and very pleasant. The sauna’s “cool sauna” option was fun too, and the detox water placed before entering (packed with lots of fruit) was unbelievably delicious! The only disappointment was that there didn’t seem to be anywhere suitable for walking outdoors. The gym is open 24 hours so I used it in the morning, but I would have been even happier if there had been somewhere nearby for a relaxed morning walk. I’d love it if you could tell me where guests can go for walking. Even so, it was an extremely satisfying stay. It will likely get busier over time, but I hope this level of quality never changes. This has become another one of my favorite Hotels—and I absolutely want to come back again.

Go now while you still can.

I visited “PGM Okinawa Resort,” which just had its grand opening in July 2026! It has a refined, high-end atmosphere that Halekulani lovers will adore—the sophisticated design and overall vibe feel very similar. Since it has only just opened, there were still few guests and nothing felt crowded anywhere, so it was a lucky stay for me and I was truly satisfied. The Facility and service were genuinely outstanding, so I’m posting this Review to show my support! Room & Amenities The amenities are all L’OCCITANE, and the lovely scent is incredibly soothing. I also appreciated that the in-Room drinks were complimentary. Dining (Breakfast) A huge variety, including Japanese, Western, and Okinawan dishes—absolutely satisfying! As it’s newly opened, we were smoothly seated with no waiting time no matter when we went. *For a Multiple Night Stay, breakfast is held at the same venue on the second day as well, so it would be even better if guests could choose between venues. Service & Hospitality The staff’s service was truly excellent and full of hospitality. They took tons of photos for us—almost to an impressive extent—so we came home with lots of great memories (lol). Outdoor & Indoor Pools Outdoor pool: Located next to the golf course, offering lush greenery and an open feel that’s different from a seaside pool—fantastic! You can also use the covered poolside gazebo for free. Indoor pool: Spacious, with three kids’ slides—great for families. Sauna Options: Three types—a sauna with löyly (steam), an aroma sauna, and a cooling Snow sauna. Snow sauna: It was my first time experiencing snow falling from the ceiling in a sauna—I was amazed! It felt incredible on my heated body. One thing to note Because everything is such high quality overall, the only disappointment was that there isn’t a large public bath where you can soak up to your shoulders. Overall, this resort exceeded expectations in hospitality, Facility quality/specs, and comfort. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who loves refined spaces like Halekulani or wants to enjoy Okinawa in true luxury!

    We had a wonderful stay.

I have stayed at various Hotels in Okinawa, and this was the best Hotel I have ever stayed at. Perhaps because it is still a new Hotel, it wasn’t crowded and I was able to relax. Above all, the staff’s hospitality was outstanding, and I was truly impressed. The buffet was also high quality, and I was very satisfied. The walkway to the Room was outdoors, but insects and rain did not bother me. However, the toilet is located near the entrance, so you have to pass through the entryway to use it; I would have appreciated having slippers. Also, although it can’t be helped since it’s surrounded by nature, I noticed a few millipedes by the poolside. Even so, it is a truly wonderful Hotel and became a great memory for me. I would definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much.

Even if you’re not playing golf, it’s still well worth a visit!

We stayed at the Hotel during a trip to Okinawa that coincided with a wedding, as my husband also used it to play golf with his family. Since I don’t play golf, I spent time sightseeing nearby instead. Because of that, my husband and I checked in separately, but when I left my luggage before check-in, the staff seemed to remember me and welcomed me back with “Welcome home,” then kindly escorted me all the way to our Room. On departure, they even surprised us by attaching a tag with a handwritten message to our luggage. Not only the front desk team, but everyone at the pool, restaurants, and bar provided warm service full of hospitality—I was impressed throughout our stay. The Room was very clean, the location was great, and it felt truly comfortable. In addition to L’OCCITANE amenities, we also appreciated the original amenity pouch and tumbler—such thoughtful touches. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, and everything was delicious. Even though I don’t play golf myself, I would love to visit this Hotel again for its beautiful ocean views and outstanding hospitality.

I didn’t want to go home.

Deluxe Twin stay From the moment we arrived at the drop-off area to check-in, there was no waiting—an unhurried start to truly attentive service. A welcome first drink in the lounge. We rarely ran into other guests, relaxed indoors during the day, enjoyed live music by the pool from our balcony in the evening, and were lucky enough to catch fireworks as well. Even after dinner, we spent time at the night pool and enjoyed staying at this wonderful Hotel throughout. No matter where we were, the staff always greeted us with a smile. And the breakfast was absolutely outstanding!!! Ah—I want to go again.

    Wonderful!

The hospitality was outstanding. The Room was also excellent. I’m already considering my next Plan. I chose a twilight half-round of golf so I could meet my friends for shabu-shabu in a separate building, but next time I’d like to play a full round. The à la carte dishes on another day were delicious as well, and the breakfast was wonderful—perfect in every way.

    That’s great.

Since it is not close to the beach, I think you can have a great stay if being near the ocean is not a priority. As I didn’t have a car, I asked for help and they kindly picked me up at the Fuchaku bus stop, which I really appreciated. On departure, there was also an excellent Shuttle Service bus to the airport. Other than that, without a car there is no public transportation from the Hotel besides taxis, so it’s best to enjoy staying at the Hotel. I thought it would be even more convenient if there were a Shuttle Service to the nearby beach as well.

Meals should be one of the joys of travel, but

I was really looking forward to my stay after seeing the high Review ratings. The approach to a Resort Hotel is important for guests. The stream in front felt abrupt, and I wondered where it came from. If there had been a grove of trees there, it would have felt more natural. Likewise, the parking lot visible from the entrance could feel calmer by adding trees. For safety and convenience at the exit, please reconsider whether direct access to the road is appropriate. At Restaurant “Lahaina,” the saimin and the paella at “Nangoku” were more like risotto, which was very disappointing, though I hope for improvements in the future. Among Resort Hotels with attached golf courses in various areas, the view from this terrace—overlooking a downhill slope—was wonderful.

    Luxury Hotel for Adults

Drawn by the new opening, we returned to Okinawa. As it was a pre-opening period, there were few guests, making for a truly luxurious stay. About 40 minutes by car from the airport. Taking the expressway, we arrived in no time (note: entry/exit is left-turn only in one direction). We had lunch at the golf course restaurant—reasonably priced and a great way to enjoy Okinawan cuisine. With beautiful views, it’s recommended even for non-golfers. After check-in, we took a break in the lounge with complimentary drinks. The upscale atmosphere really lifted our spirits. The Room was spacious, new, and impeccably clean. Above all, the golf course at night felt wonderfully magical and relaxing. The breakfast buffet featured delicious roast beef and an excellent variety of dishes. We had seen Reviews saying dinner felt rather formal and were considering eating out, but chose Lahaina and Nangoku instead for something more casual. We enjoyed drinks as well and had a relaxed evening. It’s understandably pricey so there are some points to consider, but next time we’d love to try night golf too.

    Breakfast is excellent.

Among the luxury Hotels I have stayed at, I think this one had the best breakfast. There was a wide variety of options, and everything was delicious. I also appreciated the shuttle bus service to and from the airport. This is a Hotel I would like to stay at again, along with playing golf.

    It was very comfortable.

I stayed with two friends. Everything was comfortable throughout our stay, and we were very satisfied. The breakfast buffet was especially outstanding—each dish was carefully prepared, and it was the best we’ve had among all the Hotels we’ve stayed at. The Room was clean and cozy, and we were happy to find L’OCCITANE amenities. We also really appreciated the complimentary service offering free drinks from the refrigerator, including alcohol and juice. All of the staff were consistently courteous and kind, making our stay truly pleasant. It was a wonderful Hotel that we would definitely like to stay at again.

    I stayed for three n...

I stayed for three nights starting from the pre-opening date. The view from the room was wonderful, and it was a clean, stylish, and comfortable Hotel. I also used the on-site golf course, which made the trip very enjoyable. Hoping for further improvements, I would like to note a few points that stood out. While relaxing in the jacuzzi of the indoor pool, an adult entered while filming with a smartphone, which made me uncomfortable. The staff did not intervene either. Although everyone enjoys leisure in their own way, there may be room to improve manners and etiquette guidelines. It would also be great to have a dinner-included Plan and room service. In addition, the free-drink hours in the lounge were only about two hours after check-in, which felt slightly different from what was explained at the time of Reservation. I also thought it would be helpful to have one more bath mat for moving between the bathtub and shower booth in the room. I would like to stay again.

    The Room is lovely.

I love Okinawa and often stay at various luxury Resort Hotels. Ever since I saw the news that PGM Hotel Resort Okinawa would be built in Onna Village, I had been looking forward to staying there. The Room was spacious and beautifully designed. Everything was wonderful—the bed was the most comfortable I’ve experienced at any Hotel, and the ocean view over the golf course was stunning. Breakfast is served in small portions, making it easy to pick up, and the many small dishes are carefully prepared and delicious—I think you should try every single one. There were also several kinds of smoothies; I only tried two, but they were so good that I’m sure they’re all delicious. Since it was only a one-night stay, I didn’t use the pool, but the outdoor pool is large and has cabanas and a bar. The indoor pool felt like it was designed almost like an outdoor pool even though it’s inside. It seems great for rainy days or winter, or if you want to avoid sun exposure. Relaxing in the jacuzzi also sounds lovely. Perhaps because it was during the pre-opening period, the Hotel felt quiet—ideal for anyone who wants to enjoy a relaxing holiday away from crowds. Next time, I’d like to book a Multiple Night Stay and enjoy the pool.

    Deluxe Twin Room

After staying two nights in a Deluxe View Bathroom Room, I returned after a two-day break for one night in a Deluxe Twin Room. Both were in the Center Building, with the pool directly below and wonderful views of the golf course, sea, and sky. The bath is inside the Room, but being able to stretch my legs while lying down—and using a bath cushion—helped relieve travel fatigue. Each Room had its own charm. For those planning to stay: regarding breakfast, if you have flexibility, I recommend avoiding the 7 o’clock hour. It gets very crowded, and it’s unclear where to line up at the live kitchen or when it’s okay to speak up and order. On the first day I went around 10:00 and staff kindly suggested things like smoothies, so it was very comfortable. On the second day I went just after 7:00 and it was packed with golfers before their start times. On the third day I went around 9:00 and enjoyed breakfast comfortably. The indoor pool was pleasant. However, there didn’t seem to be many chairs, so when it’s busy you may not be able to sit where you’d like. In the sauna—perhaps because it felt novel—some guests were chatting inside; for those who prefer quiet time, that may be disappointing at times. Since it isn’t very large, chatting is enjoyable when only your group is there, but consideration is needed when others are present. Also, there is no clock. Unfortunately I couldn’t use a deck chair at the outdoor pool due to poor weather, but on a sunny day it would definitely be comfortable. As I wrote in my previous Review as well, the staff truly work incredibly hard. With a grand opening there may be many situations where people are not forgiving—but I sincerely hope they keep going. Thank you again to all staff involved: those who contacted me first to confirm that my Accommodation booking was not double-booked; those who replied by email (I couldn’t thank you directly); the female staff member who assisted me at check-in (it was fun talking with you), as well as the male staff member; whoever replied to my previous Review; and everyone else who supported me so pleasantly throughout my stay.

We enjoyed our stay even during the typhoon.

I always stayed at Halekulani when visiting Okinawa, but through my husband’s connection as a PGM member we were introduced to this Hotel and decided to stay here. To sum it up, it was so wonderful that I now feel I would definitely want to stay here whenever I visit Okinawa. The facilities were flawless, and the amenities were L’OCCITANE (including body cream). The hair dryer was—amazingly—a Repronizer, which made me so happy I could hardly contain myself. The entryway of the Room was very spacious; even with two caddie bags there was still plenty of space left, and I really appreciated being able to clean our clubs comfortably right there. I’m not a fan of noisy Hotels, so I was grateful that many guests seemed to be adults who love golf. In the dining area, families with children and adult-only groups were gently separated into different sections as well. This stay coincided with a typhoon. It was my first time experiencing an Okinawan typhoon and it honestly scared me, but even during a power outage the emergency power came on immediately, and we also received clear guidance about staying during the typhoon, which helped us feel safe and at ease. We couldn’t go outside at all, but thanks to thoughtful arrangements—such as allowing us to enjoy the breakfast buffet any number of times until lunchtime—and the wide range of activities (pool, sauna, simulation golf lessons with a teaching pro), we had a great time even staying entirely within the Hotel. Most impressive of all was how wonderful the staff were. Whenever we looked even slightly unsure or lost, someone would quickly ask if we needed help. Thank you very much for everything. We look forward to visiting again in the future.

    Surprised.

I stayed for two nights in the Deluxe View Bathroom Room. Since there weren’t many photos of the Room, I was worried the balcony might be small because the bath is on the balcony side, but there was absolutely nothing to worry about. It was fun to have a great view of the golf course’s Deigo Course. Of course, I also enjoyed night golf. The staff work very hard and it makes you want to cheer them on. What surprised me was that after checking out, I stayed at another Hotel, and when I had the PGM Hotel bag they gave me, a staff member at check-in asked, “Did you go to the PGM Hotel?” They said they had stayed there themselves last week and that it’s their favorite Hotel (lol).

The nicest Hotel I’ve stayed at in a long time.

I’ve stayed at many Hotels in Okinawa, but among the newer ones, this was the most impressive experience I’ve had in years. I loved everything—the solid, elegant building, the quiet atmosphere, and the resort feel. Even though I stayed for just one night, it made me want to stay another. The vanity area in the Room was very spacious and comfortable. The coffee in the café lounge was also excellent, and I was happy that it was complimentary. The valet parking service was greatly appreciated as well. I’d love to stay here again soon.

    A Rewarding Stay

As it was a pre-opening, we were able to stay at a really great price. The Hotel grounds are spacious, and the Facilities are well equipped; you can also feel the attention to detail in the materials and interior design!! The balcony on the 8th floor with views of the golf course and the ocean is relaxing and refreshing. The Hotel Facilities are excellent—you can fully enjoy an indoor stay even on rainy days! There’s a café, indoor golf & pool, fitness center, and spa (a bit intimidating for me). It’s been a while since I found such a great Hotel! Breakfast was very satisfying as well—not only a great variety, but high quality too. Thank you to the staff for your courteous hospitality.

    It was a wonderful Hotel.

I live in the prefecture and have stayed at almost every Hotel here. Since this one had just newly opened, I decided to stay. The lobby, rooms, and sauna were all extremely luxurious, and I felt it was among the very best in the prefecture. In addition, the staff’s hospitality was outstanding. I had a very comfortable stay. Thank you very much. For dinner, I had sushi at Kanesaka, and it was exceptional. It made me want to stay again just to eat the sushi. Breakfast was also delicious—everything about this Hotel was wonderful.

    For a Wonderful Time Together

I stayed here as a gift for my golf-loving husband. From our Room, we had a sweeping ocean view of the beautiful golf course, and we could also enjoy the scenery from the view bath while being surrounded by the scent of L’OCCITANE—truly a luxurious time. The cold sauna with falling snow was unique and impressive. Breakfast was delicious across the board with a great variety of dishes. I especially loved the freshly baked croissants. The staff were courteous, and my husband was very satisfied—it became a wonderful memory for us.

    This is a wonderful Hotel!

Simply breathtaking. From valet check-in to being personally escorted all the way to the Room, everything was fully attended. The Room was spotless and stocked with everything we needed, and every drink in the refrigerator—alcohol included—was free. I was also surprised that even snacks like chips were complimentary. On top of that, the lounge offers free beverages such as coffee and tea at any time.\n The gym was comfortable with state-of-the-art Technogym equipment—and then there’s the sauna. I didn’t get to experience auto löyly in the hot sauna, but the two cool saunas recreate a midwinter Finland climate, complete with falling snow! It was the best sauna experience in Okinawa.\n For dinner we went to the steakhouse. It isn’t cheap, but you get truly memorable dishes worth it. We enjoyed locally grown vegetables and seafood, as well as wagyu.\n The next morning, breakfast surprised me even more. Japanese, Western, Chinese—every kind of cuisine imaginable is available. Even cold-pressed juices! There’s no way you can try it all. Everything is carefully prepared, and I was impressed that it’s also available after checkout—it really shows they understand guests who want a relaxed resort morning and a leisurely sleep-in.\n I can’t think of anything negative; if I had to mention one thing, restaurant food and alcohol prices are generally on the high side. Still, considering the Hotel’s level, it feels unavoidable. Even without playing golf, you can easily enjoy a full day within the Hotel grounds and savor an extraordinary getaway in a high-quality Room. The staff were all wonderfully hospitable—an outstanding stay!

Even more luxurious in person than in the photos.

This was a pre-opening stay. The Room felt more spacious than it looked in the photos, and it was very comfortable with a large sofa and two sinks. The amenities were L’OCCITANE, and they also provided facial products and body cream. They smelled wonderful. Drinks in the refrigerator were also free-flow. I don’t play golf, but the golf course was beautifully maintained, and I was impressed by the ocean view beyond it. The course lit up for night play was beautiful as well. At the tea lounge, anything other than coffee and tea cost extra. However, the tea was very delicious. I wasn’t sure how many times we were allowed to use it. In the evening we dined at Restaurant Nangoku. A palm-sized steamed dish in a small bamboo steamer cost 2,400 yen, and a similarly palm-sized small hot pot with wagyu beef and winter melon cost 3,800 yen—far too expensive for the portion size. To feel satisfied with dinner, it’s better to budget tens of thousands of yen. The food tastes good, but I think satisfaction drops because you end up disappointed by portions that don’t match the price. Breakfast at Nangoku had many items and was very satisfying. It can also be used after checkout, so we didn’t need to wake up early and could relax. Because dinner felt like a drawback, I’m unsure about staying again at regular rates. The pool is reasonably large, but both the sauna and cool sauna were much smaller than they appear in photos, so I felt usage might be restricted during busy periods.

We stayed for two nights at my golf-loving husband’s request. It was our first visit, and I wasn’t sure how it would be with children, but there were many kid-friendly touches and our whole family truly enjoyed the stay. The Room was spacious and new, so everything was spotless and very comfortable. The view—ocean in the distance, the pool in front, and a golf course in between—felt like a true resort. In the evening, we relaxed on the balcony, enjoying the scenery and the pleasant breeze. We had breakfast both mornings; there was a great variety, everything was delicious, and we really enjoyed it. There were plenty of Japanese options that our child could eat as well, which we appreciated. I was impressed by how many smoothies they offered, and I had lots of French toast because it was so good. Many Okinawa hotels serve Okinawa soba at breakfast, but this one was by far the best! It was still too chilly for the outdoor pool, so we used the indoor pool instead. It was very spacious and even had three kids-only slides—more than enough to keep us entertained just with the indoor facilities. All of the staff had wonderful smiles and were very kind to our child, speaking to them often—that left a strong impression on us. Thank you very much! If you’re wondering whether this is only a Hotel for golfers: I highly recommend it even for families with small children. We’d love to come back again. Thank you for taking such great care of us.

    Overall, it was really great.

I had reserved a triple Room, but you kindly changed it to two connecting Rooms, which was a huge help. The Rooms were clean and quiet, and I was truly impressed. All of the staff were very pleasant, and I was touched that they would stop what they were doing to greet us. However, I’m not sure if they were a manager or not, but it was disappointing that some people in black clothing would only glance at us when we bowed or said hello and did not respond. We had the breakfast buffet, and the food and presentation improved day by day. I wished the live kitchen had a bit more variety. If possible, I would have liked to enjoy French toast served hot as well. The smoothies, fruit, and chilled vegetable soup were all delicious. It was disappointing that the black amenity kit in the Room had almost no shaving foam inside (it seems it is normally included). Also, on the first day, it looked like a used toothbrush from the black amenity kit had been neatly put back; I almost used it by mistake. I know this may be inconvenient, but I think you should check that each item is sealed every time or replace everything each time. The fitness center being open 24 hours and kept very clean was excellent. This may sound critical overall, but even without playing golf we were extremely satisfied with our stay in total—8 nights/9 days didn’t feel like enough. Next time, we’d love to stay longer.

    All the staff were wonderful.

When I stayed last week, it poured with rain and I couldn’t play golf, which was very disappointing—so I couldn’t give up and came back again the following week. This time I was able to play a full round, and I had the best time surrounded by Okinawa’s beautiful scenery. What surprised me even more was being reunited in Okinawa with a staff member from the golf course I usually use. I was truly happy you spoke to me, and it felt like a wonderful connection. Wishing you all the best in Okinawa. Although I don’t know her name, I really enjoyed talking with the female staff member who transferred from Nagano Prefecture; her courteous and warm hospitality left a strong impression on me. I understand this is PGM’s first Hotel business, but every staff member greeted me with a smile and kindly assisted me throughout my stay, making it comfortable from start to finish. It was an extremely satisfying stay, and I would definitely like to visit again. Thank you very much for such a wonderful time. Lastly, I am truly sorry for overflowing the bathwater. Thank you to the staff member who brought bath towels and a bath mat to my Room, and for handling everything so politely without showing any displeasure. Thank you very much.

I stayed for two nights because there was an affordable Plan during the pre-opening. Since everything is new, the Room was clean and spacious, and the staff were very helpful—I was completely satisfied. I only had breakfast, but it was very stylish and delicious.

    Thank you for your support.

After making a Reservation, I contacted you with a few questions, but there were issues such as having the call disconnected even after it went through. I was also told, “We’ll check and get back to you,” but never received a return call and had to contact you again, which left me feeling uneasy. However, the staff member who handled my check-in reassured me with their warm smile and attentive service. Unfortunately, it rained and we couldn’t play golf, but it was still a very satisfying stay. Thank you to all the staff. We’ll be back for another try.
