Significant impact due to reduced operating costs

Stayed three times since the opening. Room: The walls are entirely glass. Opening the blackout curtains brightens the room even on cloudy days, and from higher floors facing east, west, or north, you can enjoy views of the Ishikari Plain without obstruction. On sunny days, strong sunlight enters from the east in the morning and can make it quite warm even in early summer despite supposed UV-blocking glass. The downside of full-glass walls is soundproofing; train noise is noticeable on the east and west sides, while car noise is audible on the north side. I haven't stayed on the south side but expect similar issues as it faces a JR railway overpass. The bathroom has ample space but lacks areas to place amenities. Amenities: Except for toothbrushes, all amenities are available at a central location in the lobby with sufficient variety provided. Bath and hand towels are prepared per person in each room; these towels must be brought to use at the spa but there are no replacements for wet hand towels afterward. For two-night stays without cleaning or towel replacement services, you may end up using damp towels for three days—this needs improvement. Service: Staff numbers seem limited as queues form during certain times. Check-in machines are not user-friendly and online pre-check-in offers little benefit. Spa: Moderately spacious with minimal lighting at night making it hard to assess water cleanliness in bathtubs. Shower areas have partitions but some guests (likely Asian tourists) stand while showering causing water to splash onto others—this was unpleasant for me personally. Parents also fail to address loud children here; guidelines about public bath etiquette should be provided by Hotel management for international visitors. Dining: During my first stay two weeks after opening, I was impressed by menu variety and attention to detail in preparation; however quality declined noticeably during my second visit—and further so this time likely due partly due increased crowd levels. Cleanliness & Maintenance: Dust becomes visible under downlight illumination when using hairdryers within bathrooms while larger debris like thread pieces remain uncleaned across carpets inside rooms which raised concerns regarding overall hygiene including spa waters' condition too ultimately leading decision against returning again unless operational improvements occur given otherwise excellent building design potential overall!

    It was a beautiful Hotel.

I booked the reservation to use the large public bath. Thanks to that, my child was very excited. We brought towels from the room, but it would have been helpful if there were baskets available. While I understand the eco-friendly approach regarding towels, it might be convenient if more were provided in the bathroom. The hotel itself is wonderful, so these are minor suggestions. It was comfortable overall, so no issues there. It would have been better if taxis were more readily available or waiting nearby. However, this is not a major complaint either. Overall, we had a great time!

    Comfortable and satisfying stay.

The newly opened Hotel is clean and provides a comfortable stay. The Room lacks space to place items or bags, which can be slightly inconvenient. The clothing rack near the entrance is dark without lighting, making it hard to see the safe's numbers! It might feel cramped if two people bring suitcases. However, the view is great, offering an extraordinary experience. Rooms other than those on the south side might be preferable. The Onsen was relaxing, especially the bath where you can lie down like in a stone sauna—it was excellent! Breakfast featured plenty of Hokkaido ingredients and allowed us to enjoy delicious local flavors; it was very satisfying. The lounge's hayashi rice was hearty and tasty, so if you don't feel like going out of the Hotel, having a simple dinner at the top-floor lounge with its great view could be a good option. Both Rooms and elevators incorporate stunning Hokkaido scenery, reflecting an effort to convey Hokkaido's charm effectively. As residents of Sapporo City ourselves, we felt this Onsen Hotel offers an extraordinary escape for when you're tired or need refreshment. We hope for pricing that allows Sapporo citizens to use it casually!

    Is it worth the price?

The hotel is new, but overall, it did not offer value for the price. The location is based on the future extension of the Shinkansen to Sapporo, with a new station expected after 2038, making it inconvenient at present. From check-in to check-out, services are minimized and feel similar to a Business Hotel. The room amenities are also minimal. Breakfast does not justify its price of 4,000 yen.

    Hotel for inbound travelers

The Room was new, clean, and spacious enough for a comfortable stay. However, there was no sanitary box or tabletop mirror, showing a lack of attention to small details. The public bath was generally dark, with slippery floors and what seemed like mold or black stains. It felt as though the dim lighting was intentional to hide the dirtiness. The most disappointing aspect was the breakfast. There were no standout delicious dishes, and the grapefruit slices were halved even further, which left me speechless. Considering there are many great restaurants outside, I regretted opting for breakfast here. Additionally, this was my first time staying at a Hotel where guests had to clear their own plates in a self-service manner. For the price charged, the service felt equivalent to or even below that of a Business Hotel. The location is also not very convenient; I will definitely not be returning.

    It was refreshing!

I stayed at a Hotel near Sapporo Station with a large public bath for a memorial service. My elementary school sons were thrilled with the bunk bed (loft) Room. The Hotel is new and clean, and the smart service was very comfortable. The Room wear and amenities were well-prepared, making it a Hotel I would like to use again. However, I gave it 4 stars because I was concerned about the slippery bathroom floor, possibly due to the Onsen's components.

    Cleanliness and luxury

The excellent points were: - The staff's hospitality - The spacious lobby and comfortable sofas - The rich hot spring quality and the view from the high floors - Designer Room with ample space - Breakfast menu and luxurious chairs - A space where you can experience an extraordinary atmosphere - Proximity to the nearest station - Attached convenience store - Bar on the top floor As a suggestion, it would be great if more hairdryers could be added in the large public bath area to avoid waiting.

Convenient Hotel with the Completion of Sapporo Shinkansen Station!

We stayed for 3 nights during our family trip to Sapporo. Since we loved the Granbell Hotel in Tanukikoji, we chose this hotel, which opened in March 2025. The natural Onsen bath on the 25th floor was perfect. We used it twice daily, at night and early morning! The front desk service varies by staff, but overall it was satisfactory. We were especially pleased with the service provided by the female staff. Although it's a bit of a walk from Sapporo Station North Exit, it's manageable if the weather is good. On rainy days... well, let's not imagine that! Haha. Once the new Shinkansen station opens in 2030, this area will become even more convenient! Depending on future room rates, this is definitely a Hotel we'd love to make our regular accommodation!

    The Onsen spa is amazing!

I stayed at this conveniently located Hotel near the station for one night during my visit to Sapporo. The Onsen spa was exceptional, with a large bath on the 25th floor offering a panoramic view of Sapporo. There were various options such as a sauna, semi-open-air bath, and herbal bath, which I enjoyed both at night and in the morning! As it is a new Hotel, everything was clean and comfortable. Next time, I’d like to try staying with breakfast included!

A Hotel You'd Want to Visit Again

The staff who assisted us during check-in were kind, making for a pleasant start to our stay. The room was spacious and comfortable. The Onsen featured a variety of options, including lying baths, herbal baths, and two types of saunas, which were great. I especially appreciated the mist sauna. The lounge was very spacious with large windows! Although I visited at night, being on a high floor suggests that the daytime view would be enjoyable as well. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, including ramen and seafood dishes, making it very satisfying. Overall, the experience was highly enjoyable with cleanliness and comfort throughout the facility. I will definitely return!

    I had a comfortable stay.

The accommodation was very clean and comfortable, as it is newly opened. The breakfast was delicious and satisfying. However, there were two points of dissatisfaction: 1. The toilet was in the same space as the bathtub and sink. While this might be unavoidable to maximize room space, considering the accommodation fee (from a Japanese perspective), it left some dissatisfaction. 2. The men's large public bath changing area had a noticeable damp smell. From the next day, I used the room's bath instead.

    Clean

The Facility is clean as it is newly built. However, the coordination among staff seemed lacking. I left something behind in the Room, but I was told it couldn't be found. It wasn't a small item, so I believe it should have been noticeable... I wonder if the cleaning staff might have discarded it.

The view from the Room was excellent.

The Hotel, which just opened in March, was very clean and comfortable. The Room had large windows that provided a sense of openness and offered a great view. The Onsen spa was spacious, featuring an auto-loyly sauna and a mist sauna, allowing for complete relaxation.

Enjoyed the food and scenery of Hokkaido.

The buffet offers a wide variety of dishes, and as it was my first time visiting Hokkaido, I was delighted to enjoy local specialties. Additionally, freshly made fluffy omelets were prepared on the spot. The Onsen and guest rooms provided great views of Sapporo, which were especially beautiful at night. The Hotel itself is clean and has a stylish atmosphere.

I will make this my regular accommodation in Sapporo.

Two types of saunas and an onsen, a live kitchen offering a breakfast buffet with seafood and Hokkaido specialties. Stunning night views of Sapporo city from the room. Everything was excellent. The staff provided attentive service. Having a convenience store inside the accommodation was also convenient. I will stay here again when visiting Sapporo.

    The facility is excellent.

I decided to stay here as I had used another hotel in the same chain before. The facility, including the room and bath, was overall satisfying. However, it seems like they rushed to open, so there are a few minor issues. The front desk staff seemed overly flustered, which made me feel a bit sorry for them. As for the concept of the lounge after bathing—it’s not very relaxing. Since you're in loungewear, it’s neither a stylish bar nor a proper resting area. It’s unclear who or how they want guests to spend time there. On a personal note, I have an allergy to yam and was disappointed that it was mixed with salmon roe in one of the dishes served. Also, please note that elementary school children are charged at the same rate as adults; however, loungewear is not provided unless you specifically request it. The facility itself is great—I look forward to seeing improvements in the future!

    The breakfast buffet is delicious.

I stayed at a newly opened hotel near Sapporo Station. The variety of breakfast options was particularly impressive. I enjoyed delicious Hokkaido specialties such as ramen, soup curry, and seafood rice bowls.

Luxury Hotel Appearance with Business Hotel Services

Stayed during Golden Week. Since it opened in March, I was looking forward to the new facilities. However, as it was newly opened, I felt that staff training might still be insufficient. Overall, the services seemed designed to address a lack of staff and felt comparable to those of a business hotel. - Check-in and check-out are done via an automated check-in machine (there is a staffed front desk, but it seemed understaffed). - With automated check-in, there is no explanation about the facility; you need to gather information yourself from the room's TV or other sources. - Necessary amenities are placed near the elevator. While I knew this from reading reviews beforehand, some guests might overlook them due to lack of explanation. - Stayed for multiple nights; cleaning was only done every two days with no towel replacement or water replenishment (though they might have provided these if requested). - Being a new hotel, I had high expectations for breakfast but found it underwhelming. If ordered on the day, breakfast costs 4,000 yen—this felt overpriced considering you also have to clear your own dishes like in a business hotel setting. - The lounge by the large bath area was advertised but turned out to be paid access (this was my oversight). - You need to bring towels from your room when using the large bath area; however, there’s no towel replacement for multiple night stays and no basket or bag provided for carrying them. While you can use loungewear and slippers within the facility, loungewear lacks pockets. - The lounge had great views and ambiance but walking around left my feet covered in dust. There were many other points of concern as well—the exterior and facilities were so impressive that overall service didn’t seem up to par with them. Since everything is new—including exterior design, interior decor, facilities like baths—it all looked clean and pleasant overall. Perhaps my concerns stood out more because I stayed during one of their peak pricing periods!

The new Hotel was clean and beautiful!

The hotel is new, so everything was clean, and the room was functional and very nice! The breakfast was a Japanese-Western buffet, with ingredients like salmon roe and sweet shrimp available for making your own seafood bowl—it was delicious! The bath area included an open-air style bath where you could feel the outside breeze, which was very refreshing. There were also both a regular sauna and a steam sauna, as well as a reclining bath—offering plenty of variety to relax! However, it was disappointing to see a large amount of dust around the sinks in the dressing area. Regarding the hotel's location, although it stated that it’s a 7-minute walk from Sapporo Station, this seemed farther than expected because it's measured from the nearest exit. Additionally, room cleaning is only done every other day for multiple night stays; towels and loungewear need to be picked up at the front desk yourself, which felt inconvenient. It would have been better if this had been clearly mentioned during reservation. Overall though, it was clean and pleasant!

    The Onsen is excellent.

I stayed in a Junior Suite. The room was spacious with a great view, and I was very satisfied. The Onsen had an excellent view, with both hot and lukewarm baths, allowing me to relax and recover from fatigue. Having a convenience store nearby is very convenient.

    Onsen is highly recommended!

I hesitated to reserve due to many critical reviews, but I chose this accommodation because of its convenient location and new facilities. Although it says a 7-minute walk from the north exit of Sapporo Station, it actually takes more than 7 minutes. Using the east exit might be more convenient. One inconvenience was that after returning to the hotel during the day and going out for dinner at night, it was difficult to find a taxi or bus nearby. You either have to call a taxi or walk back to the station. This location may not be ideal for those who want to move around frequently. The room was not spacious but comfortable enough for my stay. As is common in many recent hotels, necessary amenities were placed near the front desk so you could take only what you needed. For stays of two nights, there is no room cleaning or towel replacement unless requested; however, towels can be exchanged if needed. The bed used a Serta mattress and provided a very comfortable sleep experience. The onsen on the 25th floor was exceptional! The women's bath included five types of baths (including cold water), as well as mist and dry saunas, offering great relaxation options. The view of Sapporo city from the bath was also stunning. This time I chose a breakfast-included plan, which featured dishes made with local ingredients and creative touches that made it thoroughly enjoyable. At reception, it mentioned that breakfast usually costs 4,000 yen per person—perhaps slightly expensive by Hokkaido standards—but I’m glad I opted for this plan. Check-in and check-out were smooth without any issues, making my stay pleasant overall!

The stay was disappointing and did not meet expectations.

The room we were expecting, as shown in the photos, turned out to be much smaller and simpler without a desk. The explanation was insufficient, and there was no proper guidance during check-in, leaving us confused. Additionally, the phone response from the front desk staff was very disappointing, lacking courtesy and consideration. Furthermore, only one towel was provided for both the large public bath and the room use, which was highly inconvenient. When we tried to request an additional towel, the poor response made us give up. Both service and facilities were below expectations; honestly, I would not want to stay here again.

    Unfortunately, the service was disappointing.

The facility is new and clean as it just opened, but I felt the service aspect has not caught up with the hardware. It was disappointing not to experience flexible responses to waiting guests at check-in or a sense of professional attentiveness in customer service. Having lived in Sapporo until last year, this was a nostalgic visit for me, but I probably wouldn't choose this place again. While there seems to be a FamilyMart opening on the first floor, it's still quite a walk from Sapporo Station North Exit, so improvements are needed in various aspects.

    Is it worth the price?

The Facility is new, clean, and well-maintained. There were no operational issues observed after opening as mentioned by others. However, the touch panel of the self-check-in machine is not very responsive, which may take some time. Amenities in the Room are limited to a toothbrush; additional items can be picked up near the front desk on the first floor. The closet lacks lighting, making it completely dark inside. The safe is entirely black and easy to overlook. Please be mindful of leaving any belongings behind during check-out.

A hotel with a great view.

The Room is functional and stylish, featuring wide floor-to-ceiling windows that offer great views. There is a sofa that can be converted into a bed, but personally, having two comfortable chairs would have been more convenient. A mirror that can be placed on the desk in the Room would also be helpful for women. The lighting options are versatile, and the glass lights on the desk and bedside were lovely. The large public bath located on an upper floor offers excellent views, and the daily herbal baths seemed effective and enjoyable. There is also a relaxing lounge with great views (drinks available for purchase) at the top of the stairs—provided it’s quiet without noisy children around. The attached gym is free to use. Breakfast had a decent variety of dishes; highlights included the chef's omelet, French toast, corn bread, and pudding—all delicious! While there were various ingredients in the soup curry, it was overly salty—perhaps due to over-reduction—and could use some improvement. I’d like to stay again if there’s another good Plan available!

Please provide the text you would like me to translate.

Stayed in a Corner Junior Suite This time, I stayed at five hotels for a total of seven nights due to a work transfer. Unfortunately, this accommodation left the impression of being "just new." Wi-Fi: The connection was weak and unusable (iPhone worked when Wi-Fi was turned off). Bathroom: The view from the high floor and variety were good. However, the shower was far away; even sitting down to wash, it was hard to reach for the shower (I am 170 cm tall). There were no pajamas or amenities for children, and the response ended with "we don't have any." The room's usability also felt lacking. Out of the five hotels I stayed at consecutively, this one is the newest and among the most expensive. However, my impression is that once is enough for this hotel. It wasn't extremely bad, but compared to other four hotels—despite being older—they offered better service and hospitality that made me want to make another reservation in future visits. While it's still new now, I hope improvements will be made over time.

    Noisy

The noise from the neighboring Room and the Room above, including voices and footsteps, was surprisingly loud. Throughout the night, there was a constant "whooshing" sound from outside, making it an overall noisy Hotel. While the sauna was great, the guest Rooms were very disappointing.

Newly opened Hotel accommodation on March 30.

Newly opened Hotel with an impressive building, but some aspects fall short. Parking is conveniently located on B1 and B2. Breakfast is comparable to a low-cost Business Hotel; paying an additional 4,000 yen for it feels overpriced. Limited bread options and no appealing seafood dishes. Coffee is served in paper cups. The bath temperature is around 38°C, which might make you feel cold when walking around after bathing unless you warm up in the sauna. From the sauna, you can enjoy a view of the JR Tower Nikko Hotel. The dressing room and post-bath lounge have glass walls offering excellent views. The Room is excellent but reflects its price point. There are six elevators, and hallways are clean and spacious. Many day-use bath visitors relax in the lounge area; this may be necessary for promotion purposes but could affect repeat customers' decisions to return.
