Even without an Onsen, ultimate satisfaction guaranteed
I have always been interested in Vacation Rentals, but I used to prioritize Ryokans or Hotels with Onsen. This time, the accommodation was introduced as a "villa" on IKYU, and after staying there, I feel it is quite close to a Vacation Rental. I didn’t have high expectations initially, but the moment I opened the living room door after passing through the entrance, I couldn’t help but gasp at the space before me. While I’ve never particularly longed for a luxurious standalone house, the sophisticated interior and beautiful design left me slightly moved. The sofas in the living room were all incredibly soft and comfortable; every time I sat down, I felt like lying down right away. The design and interior reflected great taste and attention to comfort—truly professional work that deserves respect. The sauna was already preheated and ready for use upon arrival. The butler provided excellent service beyond just being present in name. There were four beds—either king-size or queen-size—which is quite an unusual setup for solo travelers like myself! This extraordinary experience was so enjoyable that I had my own little party (apologies for leaving things a bit messy…). As for meals, they were delicious overall. Breakfast preparation was self-service style, which turned out to be very enjoyable. However, with dinner’s spare ribs dish specifically—I wasn’t sure about how well-done they should be cooked; even after cooking them thoroughly some redness remained so unfortunately had to leave them unfinished. Perhaps providing guidance on cooking methods would help? (On another note: those who regularly handle household chores might appreciate if breakfast could also be prepared by staff.) Lastly here are some minor suggestions: First—the bathtub floor felt slightly slippery; adding handrails or anti-slip measures would enhance safety especially considering its spacious size where accidental falls could pose risks. Additionally—a small step between rooms leading towards toilets may concern elderly guests accompanying families during visits. Moreover—for post-sauna experiences having thermometers available near cold baths adds convenience too! Finally—for group stays involving children renting board games enhances rainy-day entertainment options significantly! Looking forward visiting again within this year! Thank you very much!

The perfect accommodation to enjoy being yourself. Everything offers a wonderful and luxurious experience.
Thank you for the wonderful stay yesterday. It felt like having my own vacation home in Karuizawa, allowing me to relax completely and enjoy a perfect moment. The spacious area surrounded by beautiful interiors was so comfortable that I found myself wishing I could live there. The jacuzzi was large enough for two people, and after relaxing in it, we enjoyed sweating it out in the sauna followed by fresh air on the terrace. It was so delightful that we indulged multiple times. Breakfast was pre-set in the refrigerator the day before, requiring only heating up. Being able to enjoy hotel-quality meals at my preferred time and style was fantastic! A hearty salad, gratin, soup, small dishes to pair with rice—everything had generous portions. Each dish was carefully prepared and deliciously complemented our meal perfectly. Having breakfast around a hot plate wasn’t something I expected but turned out to be innovative and fun as we worked together to prepare it. Although this time it was just a one-night stay, there’s even an independent study space where online meetings wouldn’t be an issue at all. With great access to Karuizawa Station and shopping plazas as well as amenities like a drum-type washing machine fully equipped—it seems ideal for family stays too! Next time, I’d love to invite my family for a workcation while enjoying several nights of leisurely relaxation... That would be amazing! *Since one night isn’t enough to fully enjoy such happiness-filled moments here, staying two or more nights is highly recommended!* This thought alone motivates me to work harder until then. Thank you again for providing such an exceptional experience during this stay—I look forward to visiting again soon!

Excellent
We stayed for two nights during the Golden Week in May. Both the facilities and services were impeccable and truly outstanding. Having stayed at many highly-rated accommodations before, this one was exceptionally remarkable. It was our first time cooking meals while traveling, and it was so much fun, offering a different experience from home. As we are usually busy, living without checking the clock felt incredibly stress-free and moving. We would love to visit again in the future. Thank you so much to all the staff for taking such great care of us!

It was truly the best experience.
We stayed during Golden Week to celebrate my partner's birthday. It was an absolutely stunning villa hotel. All appliances were BALMUDA and Vermicular, cutlery was Cutipol, and the accommodation featured luxurious amenities such as a wine cellar, sauna, fireplace, and washer-dryer. The interior design was impeccable and very inspiring. Relaxing on the large terrace sofa with champagne after a sauna session was pure bliss. The meals were incredibly delicious and fresh, with the highlight being breakfast served in the room—simply perfect. The staff provided exceptional hospitality as expected from the Fufu group. This is truly the first accommodation that made me feel I must stay again someday. My partner was also delighted! Thank you so much!

It was the perfect stay that makes you want a Multiple Night Stay.
Due to a late Golden Week plan, we managed to secure a reservation for just one day despite limited availability. Our stay as a couple with our 4-year-old was absolutely satisfying in every aspect, and we strongly wish to use this accommodation again on our next trip to Karuizawa. The services offered seem even more enjoyable for a multiple night stay, and there were many aspects we couldn't fully experience during our one-night visit. Next time, we definitely want to book for multiple nights. The room was incredibly spacious for three people, featuring multiple bedrooms, restrooms, bathrooms, and even an office space. There is also a private sauna and rooms where you can enjoy a fire pit. If owning your ideal vacation home is the dream, this place embodies it perfectly. Amenities were fully stocked without any shortages; the service was attentive and the staff were exceptional.

A Highly Satisfying Stay
We stayed for two nights with our dog and had a wonderful experience. The Facility was exceptional, exuding luxury, and every piece of equipment showcased great taste and attention to detail. For our dog, the amenities included a spacious playpen with a dog bed, stylish food and water bowls. The toilet area was neatly arranged with silicone mats covered entirely by small sheets. Our dog usually takes time to settle in new places due to unfamiliar scents but felt at ease here almost immediately. The second-floor bath featured a large jacuzzi tub and sauna. Although I usually avoid saunas, this one was clean, private, and complemented by the soothing sounds of birds during outdoor cooling breaks. It made me realize how enjoyable saunas can be for the first time. The electric bicycles we rented were very comfortable to ride as we explored Kumoba Pond and Old Karuizawa on our cycling adventure. My husband particularly loved the large TV and enjoyed watching movies on it. A couple of minor inconveniences were figuring out all the switches in the room and ensuring our dog didn’t wander off since there wasn’t a fence on the terrace. The space was more than enough for just two people; next time we plan to bring our children along for another visit. Thank you so much to the butler staff for making this stay so pleasant!

The moment you open the door, you are enveloped in a dreamlike space of refined natural colors and elegance. Each piece of carefully selected interior decor feels like a work of art. It almost feels too luxurious to have such an extraordinary space all to yourselves. What makes this exquisite accommodation even more special is the heartfelt hospitality of the staff. Their thoughtful attention, such as accommodating dietary preferences with ease, was truly appreciated. We were fortunate to enjoy clear skies during our stay, allowing us to admire Karuizawa's stunning scenery from the terrace. Time seemed to stand still as we became captivated by the breathtaking views. "We should visit again during a season when we can enjoy the warmth of a wood-burning stove," we found ourselves planning our next stay already. Having stayed at numerous accommodations before, this was undoubtedly one of the best experiences we've ever had. Despite its convenient access from central Karuizawa, this accommodation offers tranquility away from the hustle and bustle. Exploring Karuizawa’s nature and charming streets leisurely on provided electric-assist bicycles would also be delightful. One night was simply not enough to fully enjoy everything here; next time, we will definitely plan for a multiple night stay. Celebrating a special occasion with loved ones here will surely create unforgettable memories and bring unparalleled satisfaction.

Wonderful Hotel
I have visited Karuizawa many times, but "GLAMDAY STYLE HOTEL SUITE Kawanoto," where I stayed this time, was the best accommodation I have ever experienced. I truly enjoyed relaxing at the hotel and decided to opt for a multiple night stay next time. Even before my stay, they kindly answered my questions via email, and during my visit, the staff's warm hospitality allowed me to enjoy a comfortable and pleasant time. The room was incredibly spacious, the facilities were excellent (though there were many switches I didn’t understand how to use—haha), everything was clean, and both breakfast and the complimentary drinks in the refrigerator were plentiful and delicious. It felt like a luxurious escape from everyday life. This time, I was lucky enough to book at a very reasonable price thanks to their "Grand Opening Sale." Next time, I plan on staying longer so that I can fully enjoy this wonderful hotel. Thank you for everything!

Truly Small Luxury
A few years ago, I visited GLAMDAY STYLE in Okinawa and was very impressed. After that, I stayed at their affiliated "Fufu" last year and the year before, and I was fond of their concept of "Small Luxury" and the cuisine. At the end of last year, I saw that this Yamano-Fumoto, where you can bring your dog, had opened, so I immediately made a reservation. The dog-friendly building we stayed in this time was very spacious, with a real wood-burning fireplace, lovely furniture, RIEDEL glasses, Cutipol cutlery, Simmons beds, Miele washing machines, and Balmuda cooking utensils, all of which showed a commitment to quality. (The speakers were also stylish and had great sound!) It was truly filled with a sense of "extraordinary," allowing for a relaxed and leisurely stay. Each building had a private sauna that seemed large enough for about four people, and there was a balcony to cool off, providing every comfort. In the evening, if you have a dog, meals are served in the room. Two staff members came to serve us; one returned midway, but the other stayed until after the meal and breakfast preparations were completed, which was pure luxury. There are few places where the food is delicious even when you bring a dog, making this property truly valuable. I deducted one star for the meals because, while dinner was impeccable, I would have preferred a breakfast similar to what is served at a ryokan, given my age. However, the taste was delicious. I think it's a matter of preference, and younger people might enjoy it. Usually, having an onsen is a must, and I often choose places with one in the room. It's a shame there's no onsen, but the sauna makes up for it! The sauna warms the body sufficiently, and the private sauna is truly luxurious and very satisfying. My husband liked it so much that he made another reservation for two weeks later... And I am also planning to visit again with my family in May, currently adjusting the schedule. I plan to make a reservation soon. I highly recommend this wonderful one-building rental property.

A luxurious Hotel
I stayed with my beloved dog. Having stayed at several properties in the Fufu series before, my expectations were high, especially for the cuisine. However, I was overwhelmed by the sheer luxury that far exceeded my expectations. The property is a two-story building with a dining area featuring an 8-seater table, a fireplace, a jacuzzi, and a sauna. All the furnishings are modern and stylish, and the appliances are high-end with beautiful designs. It made me feel like I wanted to live in this house! (I hope this conveys my feelings...) Both dinner and breakfast were served in the Room, with dinner being fully served by the staff. The cuisine was as expected—top-notch in both quality and quantity. Breakfast was self-service, but the volume was surprising. I enjoyed it thoroughly with freshly cooked rice. I also fully indulged in the large jacuzzi and sauna. The staff were kind and attentive, allowing me to spend a precious and comfortable time. Thank you very much.

A hotel in Karuizawa that makes you want to retreat in winter.
Even though we weren't there for winter sports, we stayed in Karuizawa during winter with my two daughters who love saunas. The room, which was said to accommodate four people, indeed had four double beds. It was luxurious compared to the usual setup of two singles and one king bed for four people. I regretted not bringing another person along. We went out for dinner, but they provided a car ride for us. It would have been even better if we could choose the welcome drink. I strongly wish to have a Multiple Night Stay next time.

I had a happy day.
Since I made a reservation during the opening sale, the price was very reasonable, but it was a bit difficult to gather information about the hotel. Nevertheless, I enjoyed a family trip with my dog to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. Thanks to that, it became a very happy and wonderful trip. First of all, the location was very convenient, close to the station and outlet, and it was very easy to move around as the hotel offered electric bicycles for rent. Furthermore, the hotel's facilities, from the layout to appliances, daily necessities, and dog supplies, had a luxurious feel, allowing us to enjoy a lavish atmosphere. My dog, who tends to feel stressed in new environments, had no problems at this hotel and enjoyed the dog bed comfortably. The meals were also luxurious and could be enjoyed leisurely in the room. The staff's response was courteous, and I felt their meticulous attention in explaining the dishes and preparing drinks. I was impressed by their high level of professionalism and experienced an indescribable sense of satisfaction. The ingredients were fresh, and I was very satisfied. I definitely want to make a reservation again! This is the most recommended hotel so far.
