    Hotel near the station with great views

    The view from the lobby was stunning. There is a small lounge with juice and snacks, allowing you to relax while enjoying the scenery. Depending on the Room, views may vary, but the Room we stayed in this time did not have a scenic view. Breakfast felt slightly limited, but the curry was exceptionally delicious and overall of high quality. Would love to stay again!

    Would love to stay again.

    Directly connected to the subway station, offering an excellent location. The overall stylish design appeals to many women. The lounge accessible to all guests was great. The bathroom is spacious with a washing area, and amenities even include hand and body cream, which was very satisfying. However, it was disappointing that there were no body towels provided.

    There are some drawbacks, but we look forward to improvements in the future.

    The front desk located on the top floor or a floor with a great view, along with the terrace offering an outdoor view, lived up to expectations as characteristic of GATE HOTEL. I stayed in the lowest category Modest type room. The view was west-facing, which is considered the least favorable direction. Since I didn’t expect this type of room to be located on the north or east side with better views, it wasn’t disappointing but rather as expected. For those who only need a place to sleep, it’s sufficient. The room size is also adequate for one person. While I understood at the time of reservation that there would only be a shower booth and no bathtub, it was disappointing that unlike other room types, the toilet was not separated but integrated into one space; all rooms could benefit from having separate toilets. Regarding breakfast: I visited around 9 AM when operations run until 10 AM; it wasn’t crowded and allowed for a calm dining experience. However, I found it surprising that the buffet station was placed near the restaurant entrance instead of centrally or towards the back in an L-shape layout as commonly seen elsewhere. Additionally, being seated at one of the farthest tables meant multiple trips back and forth without large trays available—this proved inconvenient. The limited-to-30-servings Japanese set meal stood out due to its small quantity compared to other main dishes offered—it felt insufficiently balanced in availability and variety compared to alternatives like Eggs Benedict (which I chose). If this limitation aims at encouraging guests during earlier hours (7–8 AM), then perhaps discontinuing such offerings might be better unless pre-reservations are implemented during check-in so interested guests can secure their choice beforehand. As for beverages: options included coffee/tea/Yame tea alongside water plus three others available via buffet stations—though refills weren’t proactively offered nor clarified whether self-service applied here too! Most food items were nearly depleted except salads/breads while sausages appeared overly diced down likely avoiding waste concerns yet fresh replenishments even smaller portions would've improved satisfaction overall! Lastly—the guest-exclusive lounge provided excellent amenities rounding off my stay positively! That concludes my review this time around!

    A highly satisfying Hotel

    The corner Room was spacious with excellent lighting and views. The overall design was simple, but the clean and modern interior was also appealing. Having two sinks in the bathroom was convenient. As a new Hotel, the young staff were quick to respond and very pleasant. It is directly connected to Tenjin subway station and located in the center of department stores and restaurants, making it an excellent location.

    It was a wonderful Hotel.

    I have stayed at several hotels in Fukuoka, but this hotel had exceptionally kind and attentive service. For breakfast, there were three options to choose from—I ordered the French toast, which was delicious. There was also a buffet that left me feeling full and satisfied. The room I stayed in this time was a bit small as it was the only one available, but it was very clean and comfortable. The views from the terrace during both day and night were stunning! This is a hotel I would love to stay at again. Thank you very much!

    Close to the station

    The entrance of the Hotel is connected to the subway Tenjin Station underground, making it convenient without needing to go outside. However, it is located quite far inside and there were no clear signs, so it was a bit hard to find. The Room did not have a ladies' skincare set, so I had to prepare my own, which was slightly inconvenient. Usually, hotels of this class provide one, so that was disappointing. The Room itself was spacious and comfortable to stay in. Both the toilet and bath are completely separate, which is another good point. For breakfast, the Japanese set meal was limited in quantity and unavailable when we arrived. We could only choose between French toast or eggs benedict; however, both were very delicious. There is also a buffet available with fewer options but still tasty dishes overall. The orange juice especially stood out as being very delicious!

    Located in the heart of Hakata Tenjin, the convenience is excellent. The double Room offers a great view, but unfortunately, the view from the twin Room is disappointing. As for breakfast, the menu selection is limited, and the 30 servings of Japanese-style breakfast are sold out by 7:30 AM. For those on a Multiple Night Stay, this lack of variety can be inconvenient. Additionally, it is inconvenient that you cannot go directly to the first floor from your Room via elevator; you must first stop at the front desk on the 19th floor.

    This is the perfect place to stay in Hakata!

    If you're visiting Hakata to see Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, enjoy a meal outside, and then fly back, this place is very convenient. The lounge is a great feature, especially for relaxing with tea after returning from outside. The French toast at breakfast was also delicious. If you're staying in Hakata, this location is highly convenient.

    I stayed with a brea...

    I stayed with a breakfast-included plan. The direct connection to the underground shopping area was very convenient. As a Diamond member, I received a gift of chocolate and a glass of sparkling wine—thank you! From the lounge offering complimentary soft drinks and more, I enjoyed views of planes taking off and landing at Fukuoka Airport, as well as cruise ships on the sea—it was refreshing. The staff at both the lounge and breakfast venue were attentive, making my stay comfortable (I was especially pleased when they noticed I forgot to take a spoon for my baked curry at breakfast and brought it to my table). If there’s no additional payment required, checking out with just one phone call made the process smooth.

    Clean

    I stayed at the accommodation during my trip to Fukuoka. It was my first time in Fukuoka, but the location was easy to find as it is directly connected to the subway, and it offered great access to shopping and various tourist spots. The view from the room was absolutely stunning. The room itself was clean and comfortable, making my stay very pleasant. I would love to use this accommodation again when I visit Fukuoka next time.

    Directly connected to Tenjin Subway Station. The Room is moderately spacious, with a comfortable table and sofa, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The color scheme is also pleasant. The view from the Room was excellent. The bathtub was large and deep, allowing for a relaxing soak. The pajamas were very comfortable and cozy. The view from the Hotel lobby terrace is breathtaking. From the terrace seats, you can see the sea, Aratsu Bridge, and the cityscape of Fukuoka. Although it was too hot to stay long, enjoying a beer there would be perfect. The guest lounge was also fantastic. It offers great views as well. Since there is no alcohol service, it was quiet without people lingering for long periods, allowing me to enjoy tea while taking in the scenery. I would love to stay here again. This time I skipped breakfast, but the bakery right next to the elevator on the basement floor had delicious sandwiches.

    Reception on the 19t...

    Reception on the 19th floor. No car drop-off area. No taxi waiting area. To reach the ground level, you need to go up to the 19th floor first and then come back down. During check-in, breakfast was added but was somehow not included in the bill and had to be corrected later. The only highlight was the view from the 19th floor. Not recommended for business meetings with clients during a business trip.

    No parking available.

    There is no affiliated parking lot, and the parking fee cost around 9,000 yen. Some hotels offer free parking for Diamond members. Additionally, the Japanese breakfast was disappointing; the rice was too soft, and the side dishes were not tasty at all despite their appearance. I had high expectations but was left disappointed.

    First-time Use

    Stayed here during my trip back home. A clean and extraordinary Hotel. The interior had a scent reminiscent of overseas hotels, making me feel as if I were traveling abroad, which was refreshing. The lobby on the top floor offers a fantastic view from the terrace. As a native local, I felt a sense of new Fukuoka.

    It was comfortable.

    Opened just this April, we were initially concerned due to the limited number of reviews, but the facility was clean and well-equipped. The bathroom with a washing area and separate toilet, though compact, had everything necessary for a comfortable stay. We chose a breakfast-included plan, and the Japanese-style meal (limited to 30 servings) featured local ingredients and was delicious. Perhaps due to its location in Kyushu, there were many foreign guests, particularly those speaking Chinese or Korean.

    The location and view are excellent.

    Stayed for one night at the opening price in late August. Since it was too hot to walk outside, the direct connection to the subway and central location in Tenjin were perfect. Although there was no view from the room, it wasn't an issue as I spent little time there. The view from the lobby floor was excellent, and I enjoyed relaxing in the lounge for guests. The staff's service during check-in and check-out was very satisfying. For breakfast, I had a special Japanese meal, but the buffet lineup, including drinks, looked delicious and filling. I would love to stay again if given another opportunity.

    It was a comfortable stay!

    Conveniently located with new and user-friendly facilities. The corner Room was spacious enough, and the night view was stunning. We had our meal at the Hotel's grill, which offered satisfying options at a reasonable price considering the location and ambiance. Would love to stay here again!

    Conveniently located near the Tenjin area!

    Not knowing which accommodation would be convenient in unfamiliar Fukuoka, I chose this place because of the great deal during the sale... and it turned out to be a perfect choice! Guests can enjoy the lounge for free, have tea, and since it's directly connected to Tenjin Station, you can move around easily without getting wet on rainy days! The access was excellent not only to Fukuoka Airport but also to anywhere else. I will definitely visit again!

    A beautiful hotel directly connected to the subway, newly opened in April. Highly convenient for transportation, making it an excellent choice for visitors traveling from afar to explore Hakata. The hotel is connected via underground pathways to the subway airport line, Tenjin Bus Center, and department stores, allowing smooth and comfortable movement even on hot days. Nearby the hotel, you can enjoy plenty of "Hakata gourmet" options. Relax in the exclusive lounge for hotel guests while sipping matcha latte and enjoying views of the blue sky and sea.

    Clean and nice

    The hotel is new, so it’s very clean and pleasant. I stayed in the Essential Hollywood Twin room, and while the room was small and a bit challenging to move around in, the bathroom and sink were fine. The bathtub filled quickly, and the shower pressure was great. Being directly connected to Tenjin Station is extremely convenient. I’d like to stay here again when visiting Fukuoka. However, the staff could improve a bit—there’s no issue, but it feels minimal. With better hospitality, this would be an even better hotel.

    Highly satisfied!

    The Hotel was newly built, so it was very clean. Additionally, since the Hotel is directly connected to Tenjin Station, I was able to spend the day comfortably even though it was raining. For breakfast, I had French toast. It was incredibly delicious!

    Disappointing Experience Despite High Expectations 【Room & Amenities】 The furniture and bedding were new and clean, as expected from a recently opened hotel. However, the first thing I encountered upon entering the room was a metal SIM pin on the floor. Thankfully, no injuries occurred. The shampoo and body soap were good, but overall amenity quality felt like that of a business hotel. Shower labels were small and hard to read. Considering the hotel's target category, I would rate this 3 out of 10 points. 【Service】 I approached the counter 30 minutes before check-in time to inquire about my stored luggage while two groups of foreign guests were being assisted. The staff member who retrieved my bag lacked a smile and simply said "Here you go" as their first words to me—far from what I had hoped for upon arrival. During my stay, I informed three different staff members that as part of my multiple night stay, turndown service was unnecessary but requested towel replacements be delivered instead. However, when I returned to my room in the evening on the following day, turndown service had been completed despite my request not to do so—a miscommunication with housekeeping according to their explanation. Service rating: 2 out of 10 points. 【Onsen & Bath】 Slightly larger than those in business hotels with stools and washbasins available at washing stations; however, showers were difficult to use despite good water pressure. Having sinks, changing areas, and toilets all in one space was not ideal for me personally. Rating: 4 out of 10 points. 【Facility】 As a new facility overall cleanliness stood out positively; elevators/security systems/air conditioning exceeded standard levels too—but beds felt slightly firm while cushions/pillows lacked quality or variety options entirely! Phone instructions appeared too small making usage inconvenient alongside TV/internet setups being average yet remote controls proving troublesome similarly… Roomwear offered limited stretchability thus reducing comfort further still!
