    It was amazing!

    The front desk staff were truly kind, the view from the corner Room was amazing, and I really appreciate that it was spacious and clean with all amenities properly prepared in the Room! The bathroom and other water facilities were spotless as well. The location is great, and when I come to Fukuoka again, I’d love to stay here. Thank you for taking such good care of me!

    This is a Hotel I would recommend to friends visiting Fukuoka. It is well located, the facilities are clean, and the breakfast is delicious. The staff are also kind. The views from the reception and restaurant are wonderful, making even familiar scenery feel like a luxury. It was a refreshing break for me.

    Great location, but several things fall short.

    With direct access to Tenjin Station, it was a big help to get here from the airport in midsummer without having to go outside. My expectations rose at the front desk with its great view, and then I headed to the Room. The spacious layout and nice view were excellent—no complaints up to that point. What concerned me was as follows. - No toner, emulsion, or cleansing products - Voices from other guests and the elevator “ding” could be heard clearly - When I boiled mineral water in the kettle and drank it, it tasted strange (is the inside being wiped with a rag?) - Breakfast wasn’t good (Japanese dishes: none had much umami; the buffet was also underwhelming; the milk in the milk tea tasted odd) I’d like to stay again if these issues are improved, but as it is now, I felt it wasn’t worth the price.

    A sophisticated, user-friendly Hotel

    Directly connected to the station via an underground passage, and just steps from the subway station—you can be on the subway in 2–3 minutes even from the lobby. However, there are only two elevators up to the lobby, so you may have to wait depending on the time of day. The view from the lobby is excellent, and the Room was new and very clean. There was no YouTube, and Wi‑Fi connectivity was spotty in some Rooms, but it worked fine in the lobby and lounge. The lounge, available to all guests, is one floor below the lobby and offers soft drinks and light snacks such as sweets. Alcohol was also available for a fee. Breakfast is a half-buffet: about four hot dishes, plus a buffet with salad, bread, one type of soup, smoothies, etc., and you can choose one main dish from three options. The “Koko no Kaori,” limited to 30 servings per day, sold out right around 8:30 on the last day of a three-day weekend. Many guests seemed to be international visitors as well. The location is outstanding—I’d like to stay here again.

    My regular Accommodation in Hakata

    The Gate Hotel is our second one after Yokohama. The view from the front desk on the 19th floor was just as stunning as in Yokohama, and the Room was chic, simple, and spacious—I was very satisfied. New Hotels really are great. Breakfast was the best quality I’ve had in the past year, and I enjoyed it at a relaxed pace while looking out over Hakata. If I had to be picky, it was a slight disappointment that there were no upper-body machines in the gym. I’ll be back again in September. This will definitely be my go-to Accommodation in Hakata.

    The view is great, and the open, spacious feel is wonderful.

    Overall, it was a good Hotel. If I had to mention one thing: Just before noon at checkout, the lobby sofas were full of foreign guests and tour groups. Since there was no one in the restaurant, they should have been flexible— let the tour group wait in the restaurant and give Hotel guests seats. I had asked for a taxi, so I went to the restaurant and, since it was empty, asked, “May I sit here for a moment?” and sat down. At 12:00 the restaurant opened, the tour group came in, and the lobby became completely empty. It’s those small moments of flexibility that determine whether guests feel it’s a good Hotel. If this is meant to be a city hotel rather than a Business Hotel, I felt that staff responsiveness and management flexibility could be improved. However, they kindly escorted me to the taxi while holding an umbrella for me. In the end, I left feeling good.

    A wonderful place to stay—I’d love to come again.

    The room and bathroom were very comfortable, and the staff were very kind. The lounge bar was thoughtfully prepared with a great view, and the breakfast had an elegant taste. The location was perfect. We loved it and hope to stay again next time.

    I am very satisfied ...

    I am very satisfied with the living environment, but I was very disappointed that laundry service was not available. Please note that this is an important service, and I hope you will consider providing a self-service laundry room to better accommodate travelers in the future.

    1 The amenities are about the same quality as those at a low-priced business hotel. 2 You can’t use streaming subscription services on the TV. That’s the only downside!

    It was a wonderful Hotel.

    Sorry for the late Review. I stayed here last month on my first trip to Fukuoka. The location is directly connected to the subway, and the Hotel staff were very kind, so I had a very comfortable stay. I booked a Plan with breakfast, and it was delicious with such a wide variety that I ended up eating too much. If I have another chance to visit Fukuoka, I would like to stay here again.

    A lovely aroma greet...

    A lovely aroma greets you from the entrance. Although we were told the view from the Room would be blocked by nearby buildings, they kindly accommodated us so we could still enjoy it. We even occasionally saw airplanes flying by, which was wonderful. It’s also close to the station, making it easy to leave your luggage and go sightseeing. Stylish and a great place to stay. We’d love to stay again if we have the chance.

    Although the weather...

    Although the weather was not great on some days, it was convenient because the property is connected to an underground shopping arcade. Also, when I went out before 11:00 and returned to the Room after lunch a little after 12:30, the Room had already been cleaned, so I could relax. This was very helpful—thank you very much.

    It was a bit inconvenient having to go to the front desk every time I needed to access another floor. Other than that, everything was great, and I really liked it!

    The male staff membe...

    The male staff member who assisted us at check-in was very kind and courteous, but at check-out there were three female staff members and not one of them said “thank you” even after we paid. It left us feeling uncomfortable.

    Kind and attentive service

    The guest-only lounge available from 2:00 PM had a great view and was very relaxing. When I contacted the Accommodation about an item I left behind, the housekeeping staff had already found it and they sent it to me by courier. There were many young staff members, so there were a few moments when they seemed not fully accustomed yet, but they were kind and courteous. The Hollywood Twin Room felt a bit small, but the Japanese breakfast included Hakata specialties and was very good. Most guests were overwhelmingly international travelers.

    Convenient location

    Just five subway stops from the airport, with direct access from the station to the Hotel lobby, the location was very convenient. There are many department stores and restaurants nearby. The view from the Room was also great.

    It was excellent.

    It was excellent! The Room was simpler than expected, but it had everything necessary. Above all, the complimentary lounge offered light snacks, tea, and juice, where I could work comfortably for hours. The breakfast was also wonderful.

    Satisfaction

    This was my first stay. The hotel is directly connected to Tenjin Station underground, making it very convenient. The design and interior of the hotel were also wonderful. I am very satisfied.

    Check-in takes too long.

    This is a repeat stay. Depending on the date, check-in around 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM often takes time, and this time I had to wait for 30 minutes. Not knowing how long the wait will be is very stressful, so offering drinks or guiding guests to the lounge during busy check-in times could greatly enhance satisfaction. Additionally, as an IKYU Diamond Member, I was supposed to receive certain benefits but only received some of them as listed. Other than that, I think the Room and service at this Hotel are excellent.

    Conveniently located near the subway station and Tenjin shopping area.

    The standard Room was not very spacious but was clean and had a nice view. I was looking forward to the Japanese breakfast set I had last time, but unfortunately, it had ended as I arrived late. It would have been better if there were women's amenities like lotion and if the TV were larger with more channel options.

    Great location.

    Repeat stay. The hard aspects are flawless. Great location, excellent room facilities. This hotel is ranked above a business hotel but below a luxury hotel. However, the hospitality is below that of a business hotel. The front desk lacks smiles. The lack of smiles gives off a harsh impression. Even from afar or during interactions, staff often appear stern, making it difficult to approach them. The same applies to the guest lounge. While greetings are offered, the staff seem tired.

    Arrival by Car and Dining

    It should be clear at the time of reservation that the hotel has no parking lot or driveway. I had trouble finding a place to park. The room was small and the view was not great for the price, but the meals were delicious, and the bar offered a wide variety of tasty cocktails, which I enjoyed.

    The location is excellent, directly connected to Tenjin Station on the Airport Line, which is very convenient. As it is a relatively new Hotel, it was clean, and the Room and amenities were satisfactory. I had breakfast at the restaurant the next morning, and I was very satisfied with the buffet's salad and fruits. However, I chose Eggs Benedict as my main dish from three options, but it wasn't quite what I expected, which was a bit disappointing. The main dish could have been skipped altogether. It might have been just a coincidence, but check-in took a little time due to many confirmation steps. That said, overall staff (especially in the restaurant) were kind and provided appropriate service.

    A new, convenient, clean, and stylish Hotel

    Opened this year, directly connected to the station Convenient access from the airport Less than a 10-minute walk to rent a car the next day The view from my Room was of nearby Hotels as I chose a more affordable option. The view from the lounge was spacious and beautiful, making me want to relax there forever. It's unfortunate that beer is not available in the lounge (paid). Breakfast was delicious, and I would love to stay again.

    Hotel near the station with great views

    The view from the lobby was stunning. There is a small lounge with juice and snacks, allowing you to relax while enjoying the scenery. Depending on the Room, views may vary, but the Room we stayed in this time did not have a scenic view. Breakfast felt slightly limited, but the curry was exceptionally delicious and overall of high quality. Would love to stay again!

    Would love to stay again.

    Directly connected to the subway station, offering an excellent location. The overall stylish design appeals to many women. The lounge accessible to all guests was great. The bathroom is spacious with a washing area, and amenities even include hand and body cream, which was very satisfying. However, it was disappointing that there were no body towels provided.
