    SABO

I reserved the SABO floor. Located on the 28th floor, I enjoyed tea and had a wonderful experience. I also used the pool, which had both shallow and deep areas, making it very convenient. I took a taxi from Osaka Station, and it wasn’t too far. It seemed to be popular among foreign visitors.

Four Seasons offers 5-star facilities and 3-star personal service.

The Room, pool, gym, and bath (on the top floor) were all excellent Facilities. I believe they are very satisfying amenities. However, the staff's service was not very good. For example, some staff members were engrossed in conversations with guests while leaning on the table or chair I was sitting at, which felt a bit different from other 5-star Hotels. If you think of it as matching the image of Four Seasons, then perhaps it does fit that image. This Hotel is recommended for those who prioritize Facilities.

    Thank you!

I stayed for one night on the 28th-floor Gensui Floor. The room, spa, front desk, and other facilities were very clean, and I especially enjoyed the spa! As for the service, my request did not arrive even after two hours, so I ended up calling. The foreign staff spoke basic Japanese but provided polite service, which was nice. At breakfast in the lounge, there was one item missing compared to the menu description. During the explanation of dishes, I felt a bit unclear about what was said and hoped they could improve their Japanese for important parts. Overall, it was a great experience and I would love to stay again!

Having frequently stayed at the Four Seasons in Kyoto and experienced its excellence, I decided to try the newly opened Four Seasons in Osaka. The front desk service was excellent, and the room decor was characteristic of the Four Seasons, which I found very satisfying. The bath attached to the spa was especially popular with my family. However, there were some disappointments. Firstly, there is no valet parking service available—only self-parking options—which feels lacking for a five-star hotel. Additionally, the bell staff's service quality varied greatly depending on the individual; while some were kind and attentive, others were completely unhelpful. Shockingly, one even mistook a driver picking up international guests for an actual guest! This level of service is embarrassing for a five-star hotel's bell staff. I will not be returning here again.

    Last time, I stayed ...

Last time, I stayed in a tatami floor room and was concerned about the view, so this time I chose a standard floor. Being on a slightly higher floor offered a different and less obstructed view. The room, with its white-based design, was very relaxing. As my main purpose this time was attending a live event, I couldn't fully enjoy the hotel life. However, I had lunch and breakfast at Jardin and enjoyed cakes from the patisserie at night. I especially loved Jardin's breakfast; the salmon chawanmushi was absolutely delicious. The live venue was about 15 minutes away by car, so it was convenient to return to the hotel when tired and enjoy stress-free relaxation. One thing I forgot to mention in the hotel's survey: it would be wonderful if Natura Bissé products were available for purchase! Thank you very much!

    Even more than I expected...

I was very satisfied with the Room, the large public bath, and the amenities, but perhaps because most of the guests were inbound travelers, I felt the overall quality had declined. I ordered truffle fries and alcohol via room service, but the truffle fries arrived completely cold. They apologized and prepared a new one, but it really dampened my mood. Then there was the room-service breakfast. The simmered pumpkin pieces were clearly far too large for Japanese tastes, and the mushrooms were cut very roughly; in any case, it was an enormous portion. As a Japanese guest expecting a delicate traditional Japanese breakfast, I found it quite disappointing. Also, there was water left inside the teapot for after-meal tea—at a first-class Hotel, I would expect it to be properly wiped or dried before being served... I have stayed at many Ryokan and Hotels before, but this was my first time experiencing anything like this.

This is solely a personal opinion.

The facilities, including the building, were new, very clean, and comfortable. However, the service aspect, including the staff, was quite disappointing compared to other hotels in a similar price range. While I appreciated the proactive use of ICT technology, it was not functioning effectively at all. Below are some specific points that I found particularly disappointing: - Despite being an international brand hotel operating in Japan, I believe there should be more effort to improve staff members' Japanese language skills. Many staff members could not communicate in Japanese properly; when I spoke to one of them, they responded with "Huh?" which surprised me. Even foreign staff at business hotels tend to use more polite language these days. For a hotel costing over 100,000 yen per night, this was extremely disappointing. Additionally, when we were shown to our room and requested a stool for our child to use the sink more easily, it was never brought to us. If stools were unavailable altogether, we would have appreciated being informed. - The Room had a tablet installed that allowed guests to request amenities and supplies—a feature I found very convenient as I had caught a cold and struggled with speaking clearly that day. However, despite sending requests through the tablet multiple times (even specifying delivery times), nothing was ever delivered. After confirming on-screen messages like "Your request will be delivered by XX:XX," we waited until those times but still received nothing on two occasions. When using the chat function within the same tablet system for inquiries about this issue later on that evening—there was no response either—I eventually clarified via chat that my requests were no longer needed before going back-to-bed disappointedly exhausted instead! The next morning upon trying again accessing said-tablet functionalities anew—it displayed error messages indicating complete unavailability across all features/functions entirely! Ultimately giving up altogether felt inevitable under such circumstances… During checkout process afterward though front desk personnel asked regarding unresolved-chat-inquiries made prior yet claimed having zero-records/logs whatsoever concerning submitted-request-history itself? Suggesting perhaps user-error occurred during submission-process instead? Regardless whether true-or-not hearing such explanations left lingering-frustrations unresolved especially given broader-context surrounding overall experience thus far!

    Thank you.

It was an enjoyable stay. We arrived earlier than the check-in time, and while having tea, they kindly brought us coffee. Although there was a mistake with the spa reservation, they handled it well, allowing us to have a pleasant spa experience. The turndown service was impeccable, truly living up to the Four Seasons Hotel standard. While there were minor concerns during our stay, the male guest manager provided excellent service and hospitality at checkout, leaving us in high spirits as we departed. They even arranged a taxi to Shin-Osaka Station with care. Osaka has many wonderful accommodations that we've stayed at before, but we’ve truly fallen in love with Four Seasons—laughs!

Exceptional meals, comfortable beds, and stunning views.

This might be a Hotel you fall in love with more each time you stay. This trip was very special for us as a couple, celebrating an important anniversary and enjoying the Expo. Dinner was at the Chinese restaurant, and breakfast was a buffet on the first floor. Both were perfectly delicious. Accommodation and meals are especially important to make a trip enjoyable. With many professional staff members, we felt completely at ease and relaxed. Thank you to all the staff!

A refined space offering a premium stay with panoramic views of Osaka’s cityscape

A sophisticated space with panoramic views over the Osaka cityscape. I had a truly high-quality stay. First, the Facility is impeccable. The design is refined, beautifully blending modern aesthetics with Japanese elements. The guest rooms are spacious, and the furniture and interiors feel luxurious—truly creating a sense of an “extraordinary” escape. The complimentary large public bath, pool, and fitness gym are also well equipped, and you can enjoy bathing while taking in breathtaking views from the 36th floor. The quality of these Facilities really feels worthy of Four Seasons. The location is also convenient—right next to Kitashinchi and close to Osaka Station. On the other hand, although it has been six months since opening, the staff service still felt somewhat inexperienced. There were moments of awkwardness during check-in and at the restaurant, which at times fell slightly short for an international luxury Hotel. That said, their polite attitude and sincerity came through clearly, and with more experience I expect their service will become even more polished over time.

    Wonderful Hotel

This was my first time using this accommodation, and I was very impressed with the staff's excellent service, the beautiful building design, and the stunning decor. The room offered a great view of the Osaka Station area and the Umekita Phase 2 side. I would love to stay here again.

    Had a great time.

Thank you for the wonderful surprise of delicious sweets and balloons to celebrate my retirement. I was deeply touched. The young staff members were bright, charming, and courteous, and their enthusiasm for building this Hotel's future was truly inspiring—it made me feel proud (like a grandmother, perhaps!). The dishes at the Chinese restaurant and the unique sukiyaki breakfast were both delicious. If I may suggest, having complimentary drinks and light snacks available in the lounge would enhance satisfaction even further. The spa Facility here is just as excellent as Otemachi’s. I look forward to visiting again!

    It did not meet expectations.

Stayed for one night without meals. At check-in, while completing the Check Reservation and signing, I noticed something being placed slightly to the right. It seemed that mineral water and a paper towel were provided as a welcome service, but since it was placed silently, it was unclear who it was for or why. Even when leaving the front desk after receiving the room key, no explanation was given by the staff. My family member later mentioned noticing something being placed during check-in procedures. When I explained that neither the person who placed it nor the front desk staff said anything about it, they told me that after we left, they saw someone quietly putting away the mineral water and towel—this made us realize they were meant for us. The mineral water came in an aluminum can with no indication of its contents; without any explanation, it's hard to understand what it's about. Next, unlike most five-star hotels where guests are guided to their rooms, there was no such service here. We got slightly lost finding our room after exiting the elevator and struggled with adjusting room temperature due to unfamiliar modern equipment. Additionally, at check-in a deposit payment via card was required despite having already paid accommodation fees online beforehand through card payment on their website. At checkout when paying only Accommodation Tax in cash, there was no explanation regarding deposit refunds or issuance of an accommodation fee breakdown—this lack of clarity felt disappointing. The room itself appeared new with fresh walls and furnishings due to its recent opening; however cleanliness left much to be desired which added further disappointment. Having frequently stayed at domestic five-star hotels and ryokans before this experience stands out as particularly regrettable one. While understanding challenges like understaffing or lack-of-experience among newly opened establishment’s team members—it’s evident improvements are necessary especially considering accommodations cost ¥100000 per night alongside reputable brand name attached ensuring services align better matching both price-point & reputation would greatly benefit future guests experiences overall!

    お休み好き好き

    Not recommended for Japanese guests.

    1. Despite completing the Reservation on IKYU.com with breakfast included, I was charged for breakfast at checkout. This was explained during check-in and again in the morning before entering the restaurant. Although it was corrected, there was no apology, which left me feeling uncomfortable. 2. The delivery of luggage to my Room after check-in was delayed, causing me to be late for my restaurant Reservation time. 3. While waiting in line to enter the bar, I was skipped over by staff who allowed three groups of foreign guests to enter first. 4. I requested an additional bed; however, its placement made it difficult to move around the Room and blocked drawers from being opened, preventing access to amenities. 5. At the pool and fitness Facility, only a top wear item was provided for rental attire—no bottoms were available (was I expected to proceed without them?). Although there were Japanese staff present who seemed fluent and enthusiastic when interacting with foreign guests in English (perhaps eager to showcase their language skills), their service towards Japanese guests felt careless and inattentive compared to other Hotels where training is more thorough. With many foreign staff members employed here as well, it appeared that this Hotel prioritizes inbound tourism while neglecting Japanese customers. For example, at Conrad Osaka or Ritz-Carlton Osaka—both of which also cater heavily towards international clientele—the service has always been exceptional with a genuine sense of hospitality conveyed. Mistakes can happen anywhere; however, most Hotels handle them gracefully without leaving guests dissatisfied or uncomfortable. While this Facility itself is excellent overall, I did not feel that my experience matched its price point value on this occasion. Having consistently used IKYU.com for Reservations in the past and enjoyed wonderful family moments through your platform until now makes this disappointment even greater. To prevent others from experiencing similar dissatisfaction at this Hotel moving forward—I kindly request that you consider removing it from IKYU's listings altogether. Thank you very much!

    It was wonderful!

I stayed here to celebrate my mother's birthday. We had a very comfortable stay, and my mother was delighted. If I had to mention something, I felt the towel mats in the bathroom might not be necessary, but it's a minor detail... The timing for offering drink refills and other services at the restaurant was excellent. Access to Umeda is also convenient. I would love to stay here again.

At check-in, I mistakenly waited in front of the concierge near the entrance, which took some time (check-in is further inside), but other than that, I had a pleasant stay. It was unfortunate that the sushi restaurant was fully booked, but right outside the hotel is an entrance to Dojima Underground Shopping Center with curry and beef bowl options, and a short walk leads to Hanshin's deli section—so no problem at all. (The room service menu displayed on the iPad was in English, so I skipped it.) Next time, I'll make a reservation a month in advance to try the intriguing sushi and French cuisine collaboration that I couldn't quite understand just by asking about it.

    In-Room Dining Available

During the Lunar New Year period, the red elevator hall (originally red) leads to an elevator with announcements in Chinese following Japanese. Due to the staff mentioning it was slightly crowded with inbound guests, I decided to use in-room dining. The Room was upgraded to a DX Room, making it perfect for staying in. Requests could be made via a bedside tablet through chat, but it initially displayed only English and required a restart to switch to Japanese. I enjoyed a glass of Pinot Noir, duck confit, and cheese macaroni (adjusted to kids' size due to its large portion). Although the portions were generally large, everything was delicious. For breakfast, I tried the vegan healthy menu—not being vegan myself but curious—but found the quinoa bowl overwhelming with quinoa; perhaps just ordering a fruit plate would have been better. From the bakery shop on 1F, I bought baked goods and croissants and enjoyed them with Nespresso in my Room. Next time for breakfast, I'd like to try dining at their restaurant instead.

    As expected from Four Seasons.

The tasteful yet understated interior design and the warm, home-like hospitality were truly characteristic of Four Seasons. From my experience, even the international staff were fluent in Japanese, making my stay completely hassle-free. Although prices may rise during the Expo period, I definitely plan to stay here again.

    Highly recommended.

Recommended for international guests. The atmosphere is different from Otemachi or Kyoto. I stayed in a tatami Room on the 28th floor, which has an exclusive lounge for 28th-floor guests. Check-in/out and breakfast are available there. Breakfast can also be served via room service for an additional ¥5,500—was this not mentioned? The public bath is a must-visit; it was as good as The Prince Gallery in Tokyo. There was no scale? A cordless phone near the window would be convenient. Staff at the first-floor desk do not greet from afar and lack friendliness.

    Overall, it was good, but...

The guest room, breakfast, and spa were excellent. However, it was unfortunate that I had difficulty understanding the female front desk staff member (possibly not Japanese?) during check-in. Both the breakfast and spa staff communicated in English, which was very clear and easy to understand (as it was in Otemachi as well).

    The food was absolutely delicious.

This is my second stay at this accommodation, and no matter how many times I visit, the cuisine is simply outstanding. I had meals at the first-floor all-day dining "Jardin" for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and I was particularly amazed by the excellence of the breakfast. Not only was there a wide variety of Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes to choose from, but each dish was so well-prepared that it felt like more than just a morning buffet. For instance, even something as common as tomato beans for breakfast tasted so exquisite that it could easily be served as part of a dinner menu. It was my first time ever finding tomato beans at breakfast to be this delicious. Lunch also surprised me with its high quality—good enough for dinner—yet incredibly affordable. The restaurant was nearly full with discerning female guests who appreciate both taste and value—a testament to its appeal. Dinner exceeded expectations with not only excellent ingredients but also creative presentation and techniques that went beyond what one might imagine from appearances alone. The flavors were truly captivating. The dishes were so exceptional that they made me feel staying here just for the food would be worthwhile. I look forward to visiting again!

There was a slight lack of explanation at check-in, and perhaps because it’s newly opened, the staff seemed a bit inexperienced. Also, there seemed to be a slight lack of knowledge about their own Facility. Well, time will likely resolve these issues. For these reasons, I rated the service as 4.

    Excellent cuisine

A newly opened and meticulously designed Hotel, offering an exceptionally clean and pleasant stay. The food was absolutely delicious with excellent value for money. Each ingredient was carefully selected, resulting in outstanding dishes that left us amazed with every bite. The bakery's Danish pastries were incredibly crispy and delightful. The Room was comfortable, the bathroom very convenient to use, and the bed had just the right firmness for a great night's sleep. It was a truly enjoyable stay. We would love to visit again!

In every aspect, I had the best time.

From the moment of check-in, I was impressed by the beautiful and wonderful space, and upon entering the Room, I was even more amazed by the incredible atmosphere and presentation. I am truly glad I chose this Hotel. At night, I had a wonderful time at Sushi Labis Osaka on the 37th floor, enjoying the warm hospitality and delightful conversation with the chef and staff. The night view from Bar Bota was also beautiful and enchanting. The morning swim in the pool offered a great view, filling me with happiness and a deep appreciation for life. I will definitely visit Four Seasons Osaka again. Thank you very much to all the staff for your kindness and warm hospitality.

Stay after visiting the theme park

Since it was my first time in Osaka, I had no sense of the area, but in terms of location, taking a taxi from Shin-Osaka Station gave the impression that it suddenly appeared amidst the surrounding cityscape. Perhaps because it is a condominium-type Facility, the scale is modest, and the reception and lobby are compact, but it has a refined and sophisticated design typical of Four Seasons. The designers of the restaurant and guest rooms are different, allowing you to enjoy each of their unique features. The interior is new, so the equipment is comfortable, but I don't think there was a speaker. The view varies depending on the direction, but I was a bit concerned about the relationship where the NTT building's signboard faces directly in front. However, if you extend your gaze further, it was a view with a sense of openness. The pool in the Facility is not large in size, but it has two levels of depth, making it enjoyable for small children. It is rare for such a Hotel to always have a staff lifeguard, which I think provides reassurance. I was a little surprised that even on the upper floors, the windows of the large public bath and changing rooms are completely transparent, allowing a clear view of the opposite building. Some people might find this concerning. I also used the bar, and it was a lovely space with both design and night views, which I recommend. Basically, including the staff, there is a high proportion of international guests, and I felt that phone calls from the room and room service staff interactions were primarily in English. The staff were pleasant, and I was able to fully rest my tired body after a day at the theme park. I would like to visit again when I go to Osaka for fun.
