    Excellent value for money.

I stayed here during Golden Week and had such a great experience that this is my second visit. This time as well, even though I stayed on a great-value Plan with a Hokkaido residents–only credit, all the staff welcomed us with smiles and made our stay very pleasant. Thank you for your thoughtful consideration at dinner. At breakfast, I felt a bit uncomfortable sharing the center table. I understand it was probably busy, but perhaps because I use a wheelchair, during Golden Week you had reserved an end seat for us, so I was disappointed. Also, maybe the menu changes daily, but there were no baby scallop adductor muscles or your original bread this time, so I’m looking forward to them next time. Thank you for accommodating my request—we were able to watch the fireworks from our Room, and my child was happy to see them. Also, the USB port by the window-side bedside was broken and wouldn’t charge devices, so please check it. I also left something behind; thank you for checking right away when I contacted you. I already have a Reservation for next month’s long weekend as well, so we look forward to staying with you again.

First, the parking lot is hard to find. I think clearer signage should be added as soon as possible. The Room was clean, and the in-room bath was also an Onsen, so it was very comfortable. The lounge was great as well—the drinks and food were delicious. The disappointing part was the dinner and breakfast buffet. The selection wasn’t bad, but the layout could be improved; with a single line, it became extremely crowded. Considering the price, this is a very good-value Hotel.

Many families with poorly behaved children.

The Hotel’s facilities and service are excellent. The lounge service was very good, but it used to be split into two sessions and has now changed to three, and it felt like the light snacks had decreased. What concerned me was the increase in families with poor manners. There was loud talking in the hallways, people wearing slippers in the lounge and at meals, not following the designated Onsen hours for small children, and general noisiness everywhere—many things stood out. I wondered if many of them had never stayed at a Hotel before. I truly appreciate that families with children are welcome, but I would like the staff to thoroughly explain the rules at check-in and to remind guests who do not follow them.

Visit Niseko in the green season.

A new Hotel in the Niseko Hanazono area. The rooms are modern and practical, and the restaurant and bar are enjoyable. The food also seems designed with international guests in mind, and the international dishes were better than expected. It could be even more enjoyable if they develop a standout signature main dish in the future. The Onsen has a fairly typical water quality for this area, but it was still very satisfying. However, although the walkway to the open-air section is not wide, they have placed three relaxation chairs there; being made to bathe while looking at a middle-aged man sprawled out (relaxing) is a downside for those who prefer soaking in the tub. The staff are trying hard, but there were issues such as check-in congestion, running out of Onsen towels, and a vacuum cleaner left in the hallway for a long time—despite it being an off-season holiday weekend—so I hope to see improvements going forward. Still, compared with nearby foreign-owned Hotels, it offers great value for money overall.

    Great value with lounge access!

A new Hotel celebrating its 1st anniversary. It was a comfortable Hotel in the HANAZONO area. The lounge snacks selection is limited, but the atmosphere is relaxing. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, whether buffet or course. The disappointing part was the Shuttle Service bus. On the return trip (Hotel to Kutchan Station), we couldn’t board the scheduled bus because it was over capacity, and we almost missed our train. This seemed to be due to insufficient advance passenger count management by the Hotel, and we hope they will consider improving how such issues are handled in the future. It was a Plan we would definitely like to use again during ski season.

    Amazing value for money!!

I stayed for one night in the middle of my itinerary, and this was my favorite Hotel of the entire trip. The bar counter and lobby that come into view right after entering the entrance immediately got me excited. The Room was clean and stylish. The washbasin area was the open type with no partition from the Room, which is common in newer Hotels, but it didn’t cause any inconvenience. If anything, it made the Room feel more spacious than its actual square meter size. Although I didn’t use them, it seems they also offer a thoughtful selection of items for loan, which felt very considerate for guests on a Multiple Night Stay. The sofa and bed were comfortable as well, and I enjoyed having dinner in the Room that evening. The Onsen was also more than spacious enough and included an open-air bath. Maybe my timing was lucky, but there were few other guests, so it was extremely relaxing. Breakfast was buffet-style; even with a pleasant level of bustle, there were many attentive staff members who made it a great experience. In particular, having egg dishes cooked to my preference was fantastic (you order by QR code so there’s no line, and they bring it to you). A couple of small disappointments: - Parking (I assume it will be improved in the future, but there wasn’t any specific guidance; since it’s simply gravel ground at the moment, checking in at night was a bit confusing.) - The reception staff at the breakfast venue (I had planned on No Meals Included originally, but I was so impressed by how wonderful this Hotel is—and seeing available seats—I asked if I could join the breakfast buffet last minute. However, whenever I asked about seating or pricing details, I received guidance that strongly emphasized only negative points. It made me wonder if walk-ins aren’t really welcomed. That said, once inside—especially thanks to the excellent male staff member overseeing service—the experience turned out very positive.) I’m not sure what prices are like during peak winter season, but this is a Hotel I definitely want to stop by again whenever I visit Hokkaido.

    It’s a nice Hotel.

Overall, it is a good Hotel. One great point is that there are hooks for hanging bath towels—most Hotels don’t have anywhere to hang them. It was also nice to have both a luggage rack and an additional fold-out stand. The bathroom has a glass wall, which may be a Western style. You can lower the blind for privacy, but I didn’t really understand the purpose. The sink area also feels too open, so you need to be careful about splashing water. It’s good that the toilet is separate. Many recent Niseko Hotels use a Western-style layout where the sink, toilet, and bath are all in one space; when someone is using the toilet, you can’t even wash your hands. Is it common overseas to use the bath or sink while someone else is on the toilet? I find that kind of setup very unpleasant, so I was glad this Hotel has a separate toilet. The other Facilities were good. The Onsen uses a circulation system, so I noticed a slight disinfectant smell. The lockers do not have keys—there’s only an “in use” sign like in meeting rooms and an undressing basket—so in a changing room used by many international guests, I think key-lockers are necessary to prevent problems. Since most guests seemed to be from Greater China, it was unpleasant to see some people bringing smartphones into the Onsen area; using multiple towels despite signs saying “one towel”; or using hair dryers inappropriately as if they were at home rather than in a Hotel. The restaurant was also crowded. The food items are arranged in one line, but because the flow isn’t clearly defined, I saw some cutting in by companions and people reaching from both directions. The parking lot is hard to find. The entrance facing the ski resort is actually a back entrance; the main entrance and official parking are on the other side of the building. I felt that both the layout and signage/guidance could be improved.

    It’s a wonderful Hotel.

Although it was the green season, I have stayed at this Hotel several times because I love it. The staff are very welcoming and always check in with me, making it a place that makes me want to return and leaves me feeling refreshed. The Facility is clean, and I was happy that the hair dryer was a ReFa. The meals are also delicious. This stay was for my birthday, and I was able to spend a wonderful time that will stay with me.

    Family Stay

This is a new and very clean Hotel. Since it was just before Golden Week, it was quiet and relaxing. The Room had a great view of Mt. Yotei, and I was happy that the extra bed came with an Airweave mattress. The hair dryer was a ReFa, and I also liked the nicely scented shampoo. In the club lounge, we enjoyed wine and beer from the evening, and since we were allowed to bring in takeout from the restaurant, we ordered katsudon—the meat was tender and delicious. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options and was very satisfying! However, the egg dishes were a bit overcooked... It’s best to request your preferred doneness. The curry was excellent—an Indian chef’s curry that was perfect for breakfast curry. I’d love to stay again.

How We Handle Peak Times and Dinner Details

I stayed during the Golden Week period. It wasn’t fully booked, but it was lively with many families. The Room was new, clean, and comfortable. However, there were a few minor cleanliness issues that caught my attention, such as fingerprints on the door. I was happy to have a ReFa hair dryer and a BALMUDA kettle in the Room. It was also great to be able to use Onsen water in the bathtub in the Room. When I arrived for check-in around 3:30 p.m., there was a long line and it took quite some time. For guests on a lounge access Plan, I think it would be good to have some kind of separate arrangement. Later, I received a paper stating that check-in could be done at the lounge, but when I asked the staff member at the entrance at first, I was told that even lounge guests needed to line up. Other lounge guests were also waiting in the same line. Also, since parking guidance wasn’t well managed, many guests parked in the space beside the building. Clearer guidance and easy-to-see signs for drivers would be helpful. We ended up moving our car later as well. As for dinner, there weren’t many dishes I wanted to eat. There was frozen crab with little meat left on it, but no sashimi or similar items; instead there were many potato and pumpkin dishes, which was disappointing. There are three elevators, but perhaps due to their operating system—where if one is running the other two do not operate—I experienced long waits even though my Room was on the 7th floor. At dinner time, breakfast time, and during checkout hours especially, wait times were long because it stopped on every floor. Since everyone had been waiting so long anyway, people tended to crowd onto whatever elevator arrived. It’s a wonderful Hotel newly opened in Niseko, so I hope these points will be improved little by little and that it becomes a Hotel I’ll want to return to.

    Highly recommended.

In recent years, I’ve often stayed in spacious condominium-style Accommodations, but even though it was Golden Week, I found a great Plan with credits included and made a Reservation. When we arrived at the Hotel, someone who seemed to be the manager kindly carried our luggage to the Room. Getting around the Room was a bit difficult in a wheelchair, but since it’s a new Hotel, we had a very comfortable stay. For dinner, we used the credits and were able to enjoy an ikura salmon rice bowl and a hamburger steak set with only a small additional charge—very satisfying. Breakfast had fewer items than expected, but everything was tasty and satisfying. There weren’t many desserts; I would have been happy to see something like pudding. The Hotel’s original breads recommended by someone who seemed to be the assistant manager were especially delicious—particularly the bread filled with cream cheese and sweet potato, as well as the chewy bread. On departure as well, someone who seemed to be the manager carried our luggage to the car. Thank you very much for all your help. Next time, we already have another Reservation for my husband’s birthday in June, so we’ll be back again (lol).

    The lounge was disappointing.

The lounge and shop staff were very kind, and I was able to use the facilities comfortably. However, I was a little disappointed with the lounge. During cocktail time, the curry, fried items, and cheese I had expected based on Reviews were not available; in reality, there were only vegetable sticks, olives, and a few dry snacks, which felt somewhat lacking as light refreshments. As a result, I feel that next time I may not need to use the lounge.

We stayed here to celebrate a birthday. The towel art in the Room was adorable, and I’m truly glad we requested it. At dinner, they surprised us with a birthday plate; even though we hadn’t asked in advance, we were deeply moved by their warm hospitality. The staff’s service was excellent, and it was such a wonderful place that we would definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much.

It was a wonderful Room with a great view of Mt. Yotei. The amenities were just right, and we were very satisfied. It was also great to be able to fully enjoy the Onsen in the Room. The lounge staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. It was so good that we made a Reservation for seven days later at check-out before heading home. Very satisfied!

It had been a year, but it was great.

Another great day skiing in Hanazono this year, with snow tubing and fireworks too. The ski lockers were fully booked this time, but they’re close to the parking lot, and the front desk kindly stored our shoes and other belongings. The lifts and EDGE weren’t far either, and EDGE’s happy hour and DJ music were fantastic. The Hotel is wonderful: the bar on the first floor is lovely, the Room was spotless, and the large public bath was perfect—with an open-air bath, sauna, and cold plunge. We chose lounge access, so at night we enjoyed one hour of free-flow drinks plus unlimited snacks. Since our in-room bath has Onsen water, my wife skipped the crowded public bath. In the morning, the lounge continental breakfast had fewer options but was quiet with fewer people—more relaxing than last year’s restaurant breakfast. We stay at Hyatt in summer, but in winter we love Nikko. There’s also a microwave on either the 2nd or 3rd floor. I just wish the large public bath stayed open later than 11:00 PM—it feels a bit early.

Enjoy an overseas atmosphere without leaving Japan.

This is a newly built, very clean Hotel. It’s right in front of the ski resort. Because of Niseko’s location, there are many international guests, and the distinctive perfume scents and people leaving their room doors open reminded me of when I lived in the U.S., which felt nostalgic. Almost all staff seem to speak English, so even Japanese guests tend to start in English. Of course, many staff also speak Japanese, so it’s not inconvenient. There are only three elevators, so you end up waiting about 3–5 minutes each time. There are no stairs, which is inconvenient—I wish they would open the stairwell. There is one restaurant; the à la carte dishes were delicious, but the buffet didn’t have a wide selection and didn’t feel particularly luxurious. The large public Onsen bath was comfortable because it was always quiet—perhaps international guests don’t use it much. Overall, with its great location and cleanliness/comfort, it’s a good Hotel.

A Highland Resort You'll Want to Visit Again

This was our second stay this year. This time, we stayed in a different room from our previous visit and were very satisfied with the Deluxe Twin Room. The layout of the room was extremely convenient, spacious, and offered an excellent view. Additionally, the service at the front desk and restaurant had improved even further compared to our last stay, and we found the foreign staff's assistance to be at a satisfactory level as well. Instead of using the onsen bath in our room this time, we enjoyed the large public onsen bath (without using the sauna). Since it was during a quiet period, there were only two other users, allowing us to relax completely. We also booked a plan with lounge access and ended up visiting twice during our stay. The lounge provided light snacks as well as alcoholic beverages and soft drinks without any time restrictions. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in private sofa seating areas. We look forward to staying again!

The view from the Room was excellent, but

The location provided by Google Maps led to what seemed like a ski resort parking lot, with no clear signage for the Hotel entrance or parking. After getting out of the car and wandering around to find the entrance, staff inside did not offer assistance despite there being no other guests present. The Reservation details did not mention that dinner would be a buffet, nor was it stated that the restaurant was a buffet-style one. Expecting a small course meal, we were instead seated at a buffet table—disappointing. The food selection was limited; while there was an abundance of snow crab, they were thin and underwhelming. We quickly wrapped up dinner and bought beer and snacks from the shop before returning to our Room. It was also disappointing that there wasn’t a draft beer server in the lounge, and that draft beer in the restaurant wasn’t Sapporo Beer. At breakfast, we received an allergy chart (as allergies had been communicated beforehand), but it felt too late—"Now?" There had been no such consideration during dinner. If allergies are accommodated for guests, timing is crucial. The public bath’s water temperature was lukewarm and didn’t warm us up properly. Hoping to relax in our Room’s view bath while enjoying mountain scenery instead, we found that its windows couldn’t be opened; as soon as hot water filled the tub, condensation made visibility impossible. Could something be done to improve this? It felt like such a letdown since expectations for this feature were high. The bathtub itself was smaller than one at home and already showed yellow limescale buildup despite being less than a year old since opening—a disappointment given how much we looked forward to using it. On a positive note: staying on the top-floor corner Room offered stunning views of Mt.Yotei directly ahead with Annupuri visible on the right-hand side—the scenery truly stood out! Additionally impressive: an expansive balcony larger than even our Room added openness; beds provided ample comfort too! Ultimately decided value lay solely within accommodations themselves rather than meals included alongside pricing considerations here justified treating dining aspects secondary altogether when Mountain Resort Hotel to Enjoy Nature

This was my first stay, and I found it to be a high cost-performance accommodation. The hotel is located in a corner of the Niseko mountain range, allowing guests to fully enjoy nature. Being relatively new, it is modern, clean, and sophisticated. The guest rooms are spacious with floor-to-ceiling glass windows offering stunning views of the mountains, creating a pleasant sense of openness. Additionally, the private baths in the rooms provide natural Onsen water, making it so convenient that I didn’t even use the public Onsen bath during my stay. The utility area features dual sinks for added convenience when getting ready simultaneously. Depending on your room grade and plan, you can access facilities such as an exclusive club lounge for guests or healing spaces and fitness gyms available to all staying guests. The cocktail time at the club lounge was particularly impressive; although there is a time limit for its use, it felt reasonable given its quality offerings. The hotel staff seemed to include many from Asian backgrounds but were attentive and sincere in their service; I did not encounter any issues during my stay. I stayed under a Hokkaido Residents Exclusive Plan (with dining credit). However, at one restaurant we visited using this plan, we encountered large groups of Asian tourists using the buffet at that time. Their loud conversations created noise levels that made it difficult to relax fully—this aspect was disappointing despite an otherwise enjoyable experience overall.

    Used as a summer retreat.

I stayed for the first time in July and absolutely loved it. It’s a simple yet friendly Hotel. Being less than 100km from Sapporo and about a 2-hour drive, it’s very accessible. In August, I stayed for two nights to escape the summer heat, enjoying it like a vacation home. (I’ve already made a Reservation for September.) Next year, I’m planning to bring my son and his wife who live in the Kanto area. To attract more summer repeat visitors like us from Hokkaido, I hope you continue offering reasonably priced stays along with events such as the Yosakoi performance last time or this time’s fireworks on two consecutive nights. Perhaps due to being in a newly developed area, outdoor activities are relatively expensive and not particularly appealing to older guests. (Honestly speaking, the Hanazono gondola felt less impressive compared to Tokyu's gondola.) However, I look forward to improvements in the coming years!

The lounge received high satisfaction ratings.

The parking lot was not yet completed, so we were unsure if we were in the right place and arrived after some confusion. Being a new hotel, the facilities were impeccably clean, and although the club lounge had time restrictions, we enjoyed drinks there and our entire family was very satisfied. Even during the busy Obon season, the public bath was not crowded at all. The restaurant staff were very pleasant; however, despite checking in early, no one approached us or even made eye contact despite available staff being present. We ended up waiting for assistance, which was quite disappointing. Perhaps they were busy attending to many international guests, but considering it is part of Okura Nikko Hotels Group, it left a slightly negative impression. The high counter also gave off a somewhat intimidating vibe. That said, my daughter thoroughly enjoyed the crab for dinner and salmon roe for breakfast and smiled as she suggested staying here again next year when visiting Hokkaido! As this is part of an admired hotel chain, I am sharing this review with hopes of experiencing even better service next time. Nonetheless, we stayed at a very satisfying price point—thank you very much!

    Hotel with Various Issues

The accommodation is new overall, but the experience reflects "you get what you pay for." Not recommended. - Upon entering the room, there was trash left by a previous guest near the sofa, and even after informing the front desk, no apology was offered. - The public bath water was stagnant as it wasn’t properly circulated. - The parking lot was hard to find and located on a gravel road that kicked up dust, which was unpleasant. - Breakfast staff initially spoke in Japanese but switched to English midway as if they didn’t understand anymore. - The breakfast buffet layout was poorly organized, and staff attitude was unprofessional with limited menu options. - At around 10 PM after dinner, cleaning carts were still in the hallway as cleaning work continued. - The person in charge of cleaning did not greet guests when using the elevator together. Even though I tried to convince myself it’s good value for money, my stay left me feeling dissatisfied overall.

    2 Multiple Night Stay

A casual-style hotel. The staff wear black sweatshirts, which could be improved. Stayed at an affordable price with the hotel's opening credit. The restaurant offers delicious meals, both the breakfast buffet and evening à la carte, with well-thought-out menus. The room is not spacious but functional. However, there were water stains on the glass between the bathroom and living area, and the mirrors in the public bath were not polished enough to function properly as mirrors. Considering it's a new hotel, maintenance might need attention. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

    Thank you for your congratulations.

We stayed here during my husband's 60th birthday trip to Hokkaido. We were assigned a room with a great view of Mt. Yotei and were welcomed with amazing towel art, which made us very happy. Thank you! We've visited Niseko several times before and had been watching this Hotel being built from the neighboring Hotel, saying we’d like to stay once it was completed. This time, we took advantage of a very reasonable upgrade plan to the club floor, allowing us access to the lounge. However, when we visited at 5:30 PM each day, the lounge felt hot—perhaps the air conditioning is turned off until opening time? It was our first experience with such a warm club lounge. The food offerings were also sparse and didn’t change over two days; it made us think that perhaps staying on the club floor wasn’t necessary after all? Breakfast was similarly underwhelming for us and slightly disappointing. The room itself was new and clean—not particularly spacious but functional and comfortable for our stay. The highlight was definitely having Onsen water in our private bathroom! Since Onsen water is hot, we filled it early to let it cool down slightly before adding more hot water without diluting it with cold water—a perfect way to enjoy it. We also visited the public bath but found no one else there, so we had it all to ourselves! However, I wonder why locker keys weren’t available? While valuables could be stored in secure lockers, leaving clothes unsecured felt uncomfortable. Perhaps because it's off-season overall operations seemed somewhat relaxed? That said, many of the staff members were young foreigners who spoke excellent Japanese. Unlike neighboring Hotels where English seems standard practice, their effort to communicate in Japanese here left a great impression on us—it made our stay feel safe and welcoming!
