    A 4-day, 3-night family trip

    I stayed here last May, and this was my second visit. Due to traffic delays, I missed my original outbound flight, and my arrival airport had to be changed from Shimojishima Airport to Miyako Airport. Even so, you responded quickly—especially with the rental car arrangements—which was a huge help. The breakfast was delicious again this year, and we were looking forward to it; the morning rice porridge was also a favorite with our child. The service was excellent, so we had no inconveniences during our stay and were able to relax comfortably. We were worried about the weather because of the typhoon, but it passed us by—there wasn’t a single rainy day—and we were glad we could enjoy activities as well. Perhaps because of the typhoon you had put the chairs away, but I think it would be nice to have chairs on the terrace so guests can enjoy coffee while taking in the view or stargazing at night. I would love to stay here again on our next trip.

    The meals and the hospitality/service are outstanding.

    We had both dinner and breakfast, and almost everything was handmade. Someone described it as a casual Italian trattoria, but that’s completely off the mark. They offer several kinds of house-made pasta, and even the side potato salad is made with potatoes sourced from a well-known contracted farm—potatoes aged for two years in snow huts (kamakura) in Hokkaido. We chose steak for the main, so there may be even higher-end options elsewhere, but the local Motobu beef was delicious. The opening salad and soup were also carefully prepared with no shortcuts, fully comparable to upscale Italian restaurants in the city. The reason the morning toast looks dark is because they use their own smoked butter—anyone complaining should listen to the explanation more carefully. If I had to mention a weakness of this Hotel, it’s that it’s small-scale (which is exactly why the service is wonderful), so those who prefer a gorgeous Resort Hotel with a private beach and snorkeling on-site may find it lacking. If you have enough time and budget, staying at both this Accommodation and, for example, Shigira Mirage would probably cover everything you can do on Miyakojima. Personally, I strongly recommend staying at both types of Accommodation rather than going halfway to Hawaii or Guam.

    A Hotel you should visit at least once in your lifetime.

    After being deeply impressed by my stay last year, I returned again this year for a birthday trip. The view from the Room was truly spectacular, and I felt this may be the Hotel where you can enjoy the sea and the Irabu Bridge more than anywhere else in Miyako. The staff were also naturally attentive and provided pleasant service; I rarely come across a Hotel with so many wonderful people. Since the Room is mainly white, I was a little worried at first, but housekeeping was flawless—there wasn’t a single stain. I also had lunch at the restaurant and was equally moved by both the view and the food. Whenever I stay at this Hotel, it always seems to turn sunny even if the weather is bad the day before, so perhaps it’s just a good match—I’m already planning my next stay. This is a Hotel I can confidently recommend to others.

    A sense of discomfort due to differences from the initial description

    I stayed for two nights. Regarding Room cleaning, I was asked what time I would prefer, so I said I would be out in the morning and asked them to do it then before heading out. When I returned in the early afternoon, cleaning had just started. I was told I still couldn’t enter for another 30 minutes and was asked whether they should stop midway and resume later or if I could wait 30 minutes. Since I needed something inside, my husband asked them to pause the cleaning and we waited. Then another staff member said it would be finished in 15 minutes and asked whether we still wanted them to stop… Because this differed from what had been explained, it made me uneasy, and the way they said “15 minutes” sounded like “Do you still want us to stop anyway?”, which was disappointing. The food was all delicious, and the staff served us with smiles, making it a very pleasant time. The bagna càuda in particular was outstanding—I was genuinely surprised by how good it was. The seasoning on the morning avocado dish was also excellent. We were told that the chef is famous for being one of the first to popularize bagna càuda in Japan. The Room itself was wonderful! The pool was also very clean. One issue was a musty/mold smell around the washbasin area. Since there is no window, there may not be much that can be done even with ventilation, but as someone with a mold allergy it made me nervous. Also, Rooms on the first floor can be seen by people walking along the poolside walkway, so we had to keep the curtains closed most of the time and couldn’t fully relax.

    The views are stunning.

    Truly breathtaking views. I stayed on the third floor, and kept the curtains open the entire time. The interior is beautiful, and just being in the Room feels wonderful. The drink service and amenities were also well stocked, which was great. On the other hand, many of the staff seemed young and inexperienced, so there were a few moments of confusion here and there. The restaurant is tasty, but it feels more casual than a luxury Hotel fine-dining dinner—more like a cozy Italian restaurant for a small weekend treat. It’s not so much a complaint as simply different from what I had imagined. Since it’s still under construction, there are probably quite a few parts that aren’t finished yet overall. Even so, everyone did their very best to take care of us. Thank you very much.

    Absolutely amazing!!

    We stayed in “Royal Suite A” as a family of four (my mother-in-law, my wife, my daughter, and me), combining my mother-in-law’s first trip to Miyakojima with a celebration of my birthday. The moment we stepped into the Room, we were all moved to exclaim at the breathtaking view of the Irabu Bridge and the stunning Miyako Blue stretching out before us. As it was her first time visiting Miyakojima, my mother-in-law couldn’t stop smiling at the beautiful scenery, and we were able to create truly wonderful memories. What impressed us even more was the surprise you prepared for my birthday. A lovely towel-art cake and a luxurious fruit platter were set up in the Room, and our whole family was deeply touched. We sincerely appreciate your thoughtful attention to detail. The Room was very spacious, impeccably clean in every corner, and extremely comfortable. The view from the terrace was simply spectacular—I found myself gazing at it for so long that I lost track of time. We had originally planned to stay our entire trip at a Resort Hotel on Kurima Island, but I really wanted to surprise my family by staying on our last night at Santorini HOTEL&VILLAS—a newly opened place with incredible views where you can overlook the Irabu Bridge—so we chose this Accommodation for our final night in Miyakojima. All three of them—my mother-in-law, wife, and daughter—praised it highly and said they “definitely want to come again,” and it became an unforgettable stay for me and for our family. My heartfelt thanks to all the staff for your warm hospitality. This is a wonderful Hotel that I can confidently recommend to anyone who wants to spend a special time in Miyakojima.     Indulge in Luxury

    I’m truly glad we were able to visit after the typhoon. Thank you for calling us from the day before through the day of our stay and for your warm hospitality. After we arrived, we were about to head to the airport due to a flight change, but you ran over to let us know the airport was closed. Thanks to that, we didn’t waste valuable time and were able to enjoy a relaxed dinner. We also appreciated your advice that if we chose all the dinner courses, we could share them and enjoy everything together—we were very satisfied. Both dinner and breakfast made excellent use of fresh ingredients and were delicious, and our friends were very happy as well. The location was wonderful, and we took lots of great photos. The drinks in the Room refrigerator were complimentary, so we could relax and enjoy them in our Room too. It’s a Hotel I’d love to visit again.

    Luxurious time to do nothing

    This was our first trip to Miyakojima—a 6-night, 7-day getaway as a couple. Since we were staying at Tokyu Hotel in Miyakojima, we also wanted to experience a Hotel with a different atmosphere, so we chose Santorini on Irabu Island for two nights thanks to its great location and highly rated restaurant. Unfortunately, the weather was terrible, so we couldn’t enjoy the stunning terrace views or the infinity pool, but the spacious Room—with an arflex sofa set and carefully selected furnishings—was very comfortable, and we were able to spend truly luxurious time doing nothing. From a casual conversation with the staff at check-in, they surprised us with a message plate and a small gift; their warm hospitality became an unforgettable memory. The food at the restaurant was also excellent, and above all, every staff member was pleasant and made us feel at home. Because it’s a small Hotel, bad weather basically means relaxing in your Room is the only option, but we heard that this summer a new villa wing will be completed and the property will expand with additional facilities such as a chapel, gym, and bar—so we’re already looking forward to our next trip to Miyakojima.

    It was a wonderful anniversary trip.

    We stayed here to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. Thanks to the lovely gifts and the attentive service from all the staff, we had a truly fulfilling time. Not only was the Room wonderful, but the views from our guest room and the dining venue were also stunning, allowing us to relax and forget about everyday life. We also appreciated the wide variety of beach items available, so we didn’t need to bring anything from home. We stayed with our 2-year-old child, and child-friendly items and amenities were provided, which made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. We sincerely appreciate everyone’s thoughtful hospitality. If we have another chance to visit Miyakojima, we would love to stay here again.

    A consistently reliable stay.

    I previously stayed at Blue Ocean and loved being able to lie in bed and gaze at my favorite Irabu Bridge, so this time I stayed at the newly opened sister Hotel to enjoy an even higher view of the bridge and the stars. I couldn’t have been more satisfied. I’ve been switching to each new villa as they open, but I think I’ll stick with this place in Miyakojima from now on.

    It felt like staying at an overseas Hotel.

    For my first trip to Miyakojima, I researched various hotels and chose this Hotel because it was newly opened, the white-and-blue exterior was beautiful, and the Room was spacious. Since the Hotel is located right after crossing over to Irabu Island, I could enjoy views of the Irabu Bridge and the Miyako-blue sea from my Room every day, which really lifted my mood. The refrigerator had complimentary drinks, including beer, so it was convenient—I didn’t need to go out to buy anything when relaxing in the Room. I only used breakfast dining, but it was a half-buffet style with a beautifully presented main dish, and I was happy to have items like umi-budo (sea grapes). I didn’t use dinner because my stay was short and I wanted to experience Miyakojima’s unique atmosphere outside. The bathroom had a spacious Japanese-style soaking tub, which I loved—it helped me unwind every day. The double-sink vanity was also very convenient. When dining out, I used taxis. The Hotel can call one for you; it took about 15 minutes to reach Nishizato Odori in the downtown area and cost around 2,000 yen. The only reason I rated slightly lower points was regarding the restaurant. You need to go up and down stairs to use the half-buffet area, which felt inconvenient for anyone with mobility issues. It would be nice if coffee and similar items were served at your table or available on the same floor. Also, dinner is course-only; if there were à la carte options or a setting where you could simply enjoy drinks as well, it would have been easier to use. In exchange for declining daily Room cleaning during my stay, I received vouchers such as Blue Seal ice cream coupons. For a short stay like mine, that felt more than sufficient. This is definitely a Hotel I’d love to stay at again.

    We were able to relax and unwind as a family.

    The staff were kind and courteous, and we had a comfortable stay without any unpleasant experiences. The bath was spacious, so we could relax and unwind, and our whole family enjoyed bathing several times. Breakfast was light and easy on the stomach, and we also enjoyed the wide selection of drinks in the refrigerator. Above all, the views of Irabu Bridge and the ocean were stunning. This is an Accommodation we would like to stay at again on our next visit.

    We visited Miyakojima for the first time on our 5th wedding anniversary trip and stayed at this Hotel, which is well known for its view of the Irabu Bridge. Right after we checked in, we were given welcome fruit to celebrate. All the staff provided wonderful hospitality, everything was kept very clean, and we had no inconveniences at all. Breakfast was a half-buffet, and I was especially happy they had mozuku seaweed and umi-budo (sea grapes). The views from the Room and Facilities were outstanding. When we visit Miyakojima again, we would definitely like to stay here again.

    The Iconic Miyako Blue

    I’ve admired the Irabu Bridge ever since it opened, and I’m truly happy to have stayed at Santorini, where I could enjoy the stunning Miyako Blue and the bridge right from my Room. Even in March, there were plenty of places to enjoy, and I was completely satisfied with the clean, open, spacious Room where I could relax. The Italian meals were also delicious—overall, I couldn’t be happier. Thank you to all the staff for your hospitality. I’d love to visit again.

    Wonderful Hotel

    From the check-in explanation onward, everything was so courteous that it made me even more excited about my stay at the Hotel. The Room was wonderful, and in particular, lying back on the chair on the deck and looking up at the Miyako sky was breathtaking. At night, I was also moved to be able to see the stars. The Italian meal was absolutely delicious. The Miyakojima vegetables served with the salad and bagna càuda were fresh, and the balance with the sauce was excellent. The rice porridge set I requested at breakfast was also superb. I also enjoyed chatting with the staff who served us in the restaurant. Thank you for a wonderful trip to Miyako. If I have a chance to visit Miyakojima again, I would definitely like to return.

    Just like the photos!

    The exterior and rooms of this hotel are just as beautiful as they appear online, with no exaggeration. Although it rained or was cloudy during our stay, the white hotel and the blue ocean view from the hotel were still breathtakingly beautiful. We stayed in a Junior Suite for three people, and the room's elongated layout allowed each of us to relax in our preferred space comfortably. Being a relatively new hotel, everything was clean and pleasant. Small details like Imabari towels, beach sandals, Marshall speakers, and Balmuda kettles added to our satisfaction. The drinks in the refrigerator were replenished daily; we especially appreciated having Orion Beer and Sanpin Tea restocked every day. Most importantly, the hospitality of the staff was exceptional and truly elevated the hotel's quality. It became an unforgettable memory for us—thank you very much!

    Everything is excellent.

    I visited Miyako Island for sightseeing, and my first night's accommodation was at Santorini. It was a 4-day, 3-night trip, and the hotel was very clean with a stunning view of the Irabu Bridge and the sea. The front desk service was excellent, making for a very comfortable stay. This is definitely an accommodation to consider again when visiting Miyako Island.

    The Room was lovely, but there were a few disappointments.

    The staff were all friendly and welcoming, as mentioned in the reviews, making my stay very pleasant. The room was on the second floor, spacious, modern, stylish, and clean with a fantastic view of Irabu Bridge. However, the first-floor rooms are too close to the pool, making them less private. It felt awkward to stroll or linger by the poolside as it was visible from those rooms. Additionally, I couldn't fully enjoy the terrace due to strong winds from the outdoor unit despite its great location. Some concerns include creaky bathroom floors that caused rattling noises from the toilet door when walking and how hot it gets inside the toilet area—I'm not sure how comfortable it would be during peak summer. The location is excellent; after breakfast and snorkeling at Nakanoshima Beach, I could take a bath before checking out. However, I felt hesitant about returning because I couldn't fully enjoy the pool area and found breakfast slightly underwhelming for this price range. On a positive note, amenities like shampoo suited me well, and complimentary drinks in the room were a nice touch!

    A World of Blue and White

    We stayed here on the third night of our 4-night, 5-day trip to Miyako Island. Our first impression was how refreshing and pleasant everything felt, and we were amazed by the attentiveness and care of the staff. Even though we arrived an hour and a half earlier than the check-in time due to our scheduled activity, we boldly asked for beach towels from the Hotel. The staff kindly prepared them along with water, for which we are truly grateful. The Facility, Room size and design, as well as the view from our Room (the Irabu Bridge and stunning Miyako Blue), were all absolutely perfect! Since we spent much time outside for activities and dinner, we regret not enjoying more time at the Hotel itself. Next time, we'd love to spend a more relaxing stay here. The contrast of blue & white combined with breathtaking scenery provided an indescribable sense of healing that felt purifying in every way. To all Hotel staff members: although it was a short stay, thank you so much for your hospitality! We look forward to staying again when visiting Miyako Island in the future!

    I discovered the Jr. Suite through an online search and had a very comfortable Multiple Night Stay as expected, leaving me highly satisfied. The modern, new Facility with a white Greek-inspired design, the exceptional staff who never fail to provide attentive service, the stunning location overlooking Irabu Bridge, and the outstanding quality and quantity of meals were all perfect. Additionally, I fully utilized the Diamond Member benefits this time and enjoyed an indulgent stay to the fullest—thank you very much!

    A Wonderful Vacation with Santorini

    The Hotel was just as beautiful as the photos. The Room, amenities, and service were all excellent. The view from the Room was especially stunning, with Irabu Bridge right in front of us. There were a few things we noticed: Since there’s nothing nearby, it would be great if the restaurant had a more diverse menu. With only course meals available, it wasn’t possible to just enjoy some drinks with appetizers or have a light dinner. It would also be nice if the pool bar could be utilized more effectively. While there isn’t any shopping or souvenir store inside, we managed since there’s a nearby sea station; however, without convenience stores around, having no rental car can be inconvenient. We didn’t rent a car but decided to explore by bicycle instead—an electric bike made it manageable for us. As for the pool, there was some moss making it slightly slippery; more frequent cleaning would improve this experience. The staff were very kind and helpful in many ways. Since my husband is foreigner, having staff who can speak English fluently would enhance communication further.

    Santorini of Irabu Island at its Best

    We chose this hotel for a mother-daughter trip. Although the weather during our stay was not ideal, the view from the hotel was absolutely stunning even under cloudy skies! We stayed in a Deluxe Room, which was spacious and very clean. The staff's service was exceptional. At check-in, they provided detailed explanations, brought an umbrella to the parking lot on rainy days, recommended activities and even made reservations for us, and offered cold water at check-out. Their hospitality truly made our stay special! Thanks to this hotel, we had an amazing trip. We would love to stay here again! Thank you so much!

    Stay here for your trip to Miyako Island.

    We stayed at this accommodation again for our trip to Miyako Island. The staff kindly responded to our inquiries via email beforehand, allowing us to have a comfortable stay. As always, the ocean view from the room overlooking Irabu Bridge was breathtaking, and both breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious, leaving us impressed once again. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, making this another wonderful trip to Miyako Island.

    I was deeply moved and grateful for the heartfelt hospitality!!

    I have been traveling to Miyako Island for about 20 years as a reward for my birthday, and during my stay at this Hotel, I received many birthday wishes from the staff who were involved with me! After check-in, there was a dessert in the Room prepared for my birthday celebration. On the day itself, I was surprised with a dessert plate during dinner and received a printed photo with a message card, making it an unforgettable day! Of course, the Facility is well-equipped, and the view from the Room on the third floor was absolutely stunning! It was truly exceptional service! This has become a Hotel I want to stay at again!

The outdoor pool can be enjoyed privately during certain times, with towels provided and complimentary float rentals available. For meals, dinner is Italian cuisine, and breakfast is a self-select style from several options. Initially, I wondered about having Italian food despite being in Miyako Island, but the dishes incorporated Okinawan ingredients, offering a local touch! Every dish was delicious, making the dining experience thoroughly enjoyable. What impressed me the most during this stay was the exceptional service from the staff. Their hospitality was not overly intrusive but thoughtful, with each staff member genuinely considering the guests' needs. I would love to visit this hotel again.
