    Club Lounge

    I stayed during the three-day weekend in October. Since it is difficult to make a Reservation at any Hotel in Kyoto, I booked a twin room on the club floor for two nights. Although I understand that the total cost of around 230,000 yen is unavoidable, the staff seemed clearly inexperienced in customer service, possibly due to the Property being newly opened. I had breakfast in the club lounge, but the egg dish I ordered was forgotten. Additionally, the rice in the rice cooker seemed to be leftovers from the previous night, as it was crumbly and hard, far from what one would expect of Japanese rice. It was especially disappointing since it was Japanese cuisine at a Hotel in Kyoto. The guest room was ordinary, not spacious, and felt equivalent to a Business Hotel. I have high expectations due to the convenient location. Overall, I felt that the experience did not match the cost.

    Overall satisfied.

    Located in the heart of Nakagyo Ward, the location is perfect. The rooms are good, and there are plenty of dining options around, so you won't have any trouble with No Meals Included. Breakfast is particularly noteworthy, with a strong focus on Kyoto's obanzai and Japanese cuisine, making it easy to feel the essence of Kyoto. Additionally, Kyoto has the highest bread consumption in Japan, so there are many bakeries. Collaborating with bakeries like Shizuya or Shinshindo might be interesting. If you're coming by car, it's not recommended to park around the Hotel. It is stated that large vehicles cannot be parked, and indeed they cannot. Regular cars can be parked, but the parking fee is 4000 yen for 24 hours. A round trip by taxi from Kyoto Station would be cheaper. Being in Nakagyo Ward, nearby coin parking is expensive, and it's common for there to be no maximum limit. Honestly, it's better to park in front of Kyoto Station and take the subway Tozai Line to Kyoto Shiyakusho-mae Station. Next time, I'll use public transportation.

    Large vehicles cannot be parked.

    I am very satisfied with the hotel itself, but the parking operation is the worst. I had a large vehicle, but the multi-story parking was designed for standard passenger cars, so I couldn't park. The multi-story parking here is very small. In fact, there are several multi-story parking lots in the area where parking is possible. I would understand if they informed me that it wouldn't fit when I arrived at the hotel, but directing me to the multi-story parking without any notice shows a lack of coordination. The previous customer was also furious. Moreover, I was directed to a relatively cheap parking lot in the area, but it was a 10-minute walk away and cost nearly 6,000 yen per night! There is a flat parking lot next to the hotel, but standard cars are parked there. Shouldn't they be directed to the multi-story parking? I think many customers come to famous hotels with foreign or large vehicles, but is everyone treated the same way?
