This is a very good Hotel.
On a return visit after a while, we had a Multiple Night Stay and were satisfied. There were a few minor points: even though the Room’s open-air Onsen bath and the shower booth are separate, there was only one bath mat; and there is no temperature control for the Room’s open-air bath. Still, the Room, the staff service, and the Onsen were all wonderful. Valet parking had a 3,000 yen charge, but they always responded quickly. Overall, we were satisfied. The food, service, and wine selection at the main dining venue HITO by TAKUBO were also excellent. When I mentioned that breakfast drinks didn’t include tomato juice and I was disappointed, they kindly brought it for me even though it wasn’t on the list. I would be even happier if it were available from the start. We would like to visit again.

The meals are exceptionally delicious.
The meals are exceptionally delicious, and it felt like great care was taken with the tableware as well. The Facility is clean, quiet, and very pleasant. One drawback is that there were times when Japanese was not understood, perhaps because it caters to international guests. In Niseko, you may need to accept that this can happen.

It was a good Room.
The room was very clean, spacious, and relaxing. It felt like a one-night stay wasn't enough. There were no inconveniences during my stay. All the staff members were foreigners, but their service was very polite and professional. However, it seemed they assumed all guests were also foreigners as I was initially spoken to in English during check-in. Even after responding in Japanese, they continued speaking in English, which felt a bit frustrating. Additionally, I arrived after dark due to a late check-in time, and the parking area was hard to locate because it was poorly lit. When I called the staff for assistance, communication was challenging as they were not fluent in Japanese. It would be helpful if the parking information on the website could be made clearer.

A designer Hotel wit...
A designer Hotel with a Korean owner and mostly foreign staff. Most of the Hotel staff are foreigners, while most Asian staff are Korean. The restaurant staff, however, are predominantly Japanese. Check-in can be done in English upon request. The Facility is new and well-equipped for long-term stays, featuring in-room drum-type washer-dryers with kitchen utensils and detergents included. However, room storage prioritizes design over functionality. Located within the ski slope area, the Hotel offers an excellent location with lifts and lift ticket counters just a short glide away. Rooms on the valley side offer views of Mt. Yotei, while rooms on the mountain side may lack views unless situated on higher floors due to snow walls. The Hotel has two restaurants: Takubo and Hiyama. While Takubo offers good taste, its portions are small for its price point—something that might not appeal to international guests despite being marketed as stylish Italian cuisine for Japanese customers. In contrast, Hiyama is smaller but often fully booked due to its quality. The public bath area reflects less frequent cleaning compared to traditional Ryokan standards in Japan; towels may be scattered around or small complimentary water bottles left unattended by guests. Some foreign visitors unfamiliar with customs might enter wearing snow boots but generally comply when informed about proper etiquette. While pricing is more affordable compared to luxury hotels at overseas ski resorts (which can exceed 100,000 JPY per night), this Hotel should be viewed as a foreign-style accommodation incorporating Japanese elements rather than a traditional Ryokan experience. If you prioritize location and modern facilities without expecting traditional Japanese hospitality standards in detail-oriented service, this could be an excellent choice for your stay!

A highland resort overlooking Niseko Annupuri
This was my first time staying here, and among condominium-style hotels, it exudes a sense of luxury with its elegant appearance and room furnishings. The room I stayed in was equipped with twin beds and a luxurious foreign-made high-end kitchen within a moderately spacious area, making it very convenient to cook ingredients purchased from roadside stations or supermarkets if you get tired of restaurant meals. Additionally, the view of the Annupuri ski resort from the terrace connected to the room is refreshing. Furthermore, the electronic oven and dishwasher are very useful. For long stays or when clothes get sweaty, having a washer-dryer is also appreciated. Breakfast is chosen from four set menus, with drinks, salads, and fruits available in a buffet style, but I felt the buffet selection was limited. The large public bath is spacious and clean, but it feels dark due to the lack of windows and the color scheme of the walls. There is free outdoor parking and a paid underground parking lot, but the fee for the underground parking (with valet service) is 5,000 yen, which makes me hesitant to use it.

International resort luxury hotel and renowned Italian restaurant.
I heard that there is an Italian restaurant in the international resort area of Niseko, supervised by TACUBO, a Michelin-starred and hard-to-reserve restaurant in Daikanyama, so I decided to visit. I was guided to a spacious room equipped with an open-air bath, a system kitchen, and a drum-type washer-dryer. The entire hotel is geared towards inbound guests, allowing foreign visitors to stay for extended periods, and many of the staff are foreigners. There was also a Nespresso machine, and the amenities were comparable to those of luxury hotels in Tokyo. Although the open-air bath attached to the room and the shower booth are separate, which is understandable considering the harsh winter cold, it is vastly different from soaking in an indoor bath. The experience of bathing while watching the Harvest Moon rise over Mount Yotei is indescribable. At the hotel's main dining, HITO by TACUBO, we enjoyed delicious Italian dishes such as horse meat tartare, along with bottles of rosé champagne and glasses of d'Yquem. For breakfast, we had Japanese cuisine, which was also very delicious, and we were very satisfied with the salad, dessert, and drink bar. The entire family, including our six-year-old kindergartener, loved both the hotel and the restaurant, and we definitely want to visit again. The rooms on the first floor of the hotel are directly connected to the ski lift in front, which will surely be popular during the season. We are very grateful to the hotel staff and Ikkyu for encountering such a wonderful hotel, which is expected to be crowded during the summer for its cool climate and the autumn foliage season.

Clean hotel with delicious food.
Very clean hotel. The room was spacious enough, and I was able to relax in the in-room hot spring. I tried various dishes at the Italian dinner, but the steak was delicious. Breakfast was also plentiful with salads, bread, drinks, and you could choose between a Japanese or Western plate. It was a very satisfying stay. I would like to use it again.

I was looking forwar...
I was looking forward to staying at the new hotel, but I felt that the front desk staff's ability to converse in Japanese was insufficient. Even though the registered address was correct, I was asked to fill it out again, and at checkout, I was charged for parking fees (5,000 yen per night) that I did not use. The information inside the hotel was mainly in English, which made it hard to relax. The room was spacious and comfortable, but I don't think I will visit again. It was disappointing because I had high expectations.

I doubt whether the service will improve.
Upon Arrival -No greeting Parking (Valet Parking) -No greeting -No guidance -Had to find and park by myself Front Desk -Too hesitant -Many missing explanations -No guidance to the dining area -Charged 5,000 yen for parking at checkout Didn't return the key; even though it's valet parking, they don't do anything unless you ask Didn't carry luggage Breakfast -Rice was hard -Fish was cold -Semi-buffet, but limited variety I would like the 5,000 yen for parking to be refunded. Not worth staying.
