    Excellent

    This was my first stay, and the service was truly outstanding. The room was thoroughly cleaned and very comfortable. The lounge offers a great selection of drinks, but the variety of snacks seemed a bit limited. It seems like the options have decreased in both Nagoya and Tokyo as well—perhaps it can't be helped? Still, the taste is excellent! For breakfast, I tried it at the breakfast venue instead of the lounge for the first time, but it didn't leave much of an impression. That said, everything tasted delicious! The meat and potato stew was slightly bland, and the rice was a bit too soft for my preference. Nonetheless, I will definitely stay at Nagasaki Marriott Hotel again when I visit Nagasaki!

    The parking lot is far away.

    I stayed at this new hotel with high expectations. What I liked: The mattress on the bed was soft and very comfortable, just to my liking. What I found disappointing: The lack of a bathtub might be understandable given the price range. There is no parking lot in the hotel's basement, so I had to park in the neighboring multi-story parking lot and walk over. Since there is no connecting passageway, after parking on the 5th floor, I had to go down to the 1st floor, move to the hotel entrance, and then take an elevator up to the reception on the 7th floor—quite a distance overall. It felt inconvenient when going out by car again after checking in.

    Stayed for 2 nights.

    The hotel's layout seems good from a security perspective, but it does require quite a bit of walking. I stayed for two nights, and here are some points of disappointment: The breakfast buffet had little variety (only the miso soup ingredients seemed to change). On the first night, which was a Saturday, there were many business travelers and international guests. It was quiet, and I could enjoy my meal at ease. However, on the second night, most guests were families with children. While it's understandable to some extent, there were crying children and kids running around... As someone nearby described it perfectly: "It felt like a food court." Other similar accommodations in the area seem to handle this aspect much better, so it was disappointing. Even while I was still eating breakfast, dishes were cleared away very quickly... I hope this can be reconsidered from the guest's perspective as well. Perhaps my expectations were too high—this is just my personal opinion. (By the way, Marriott in Kagoshima was excellent.)

    The breakfast is excellent. The Room is clean with a large and comfortable bathtub. Finally, an authentic Hotel has been established in Nagasaki.

    Excellent

    We stayed here on the second night of our Nagasaki and Kumamoto trip. This was our first time staying at a city hotel, chosen for its convenient location to visit Nagasaki City and Gunkanjima. The room we stayed in was a Harbor View Suite, offering an incredible view of Nagasaki Bay as its name suggests. The facility was luxurious and well-equipped, making it an exceptional room overall. However, the round bathtub felt slightly inconvenient to use. We also visited the M Lounge during our stay but found it relatively crowded compared to the lounge at the hotel we stayed in previously. The lounge felt somewhat small for the number of guests (perhaps depending on the time of use). For dinner, we enjoyed a delicious course meal with just the right portions that left us satisfied. The breakfast buffet included local Nagasaki dishes, which added to our enjoyment. This was our first time staying at Marriott, and we were impressed by their staff's outstanding hospitality as well as by the quality of both their cuisine and rooms—well worth their price. Thank you very much!

    Amazing view from the Hotel window

    This was my first stay at the Marionette chain. I stayed on the club floor, but check-in was done at the front desk instead of the club lounge. The view from the room was amazing, and being a new accommodation, the cleanliness and functionality of the room were excellent. I visited the club lounge around 4 PM, but unfortunately, no drinks were being served at that time. During cocktail hour, it was crowded as expected for such a popular hotel, with usage limited to one hour and staff appearing very busy. Nevertheless, I was deeply impressed by how wonderful Nagasaki is and will definitely visit again!

    It was excellent service.

    During our stay, our room was upgraded due to the high number of reservations during the Nagasaki Lantern Festival. The room was well-equipped, and the breakfast offered a wide variety, making for an enjoyable time. We will stay at the Marriott again when we travel to Nagasaki.

    I made a reservation for a room with a balcony on the harbor side.

    I was assigned a room on the lowest floor, and more than half of the view was the roof of the lobby one floor below, which was disappointing. I usually make reservations directly from the Marriott Bonvoy site for Marriott, but this time I used IKYU for the reservation to apply part of the room charge to the hometown tax. The hotel's location was good, but it was disappointing to be assigned a room seemingly meant for group guests.

    As a newly opened Hotel, the overall cleanliness was impressive. However, I felt that areas like the check-in counter and lounge were slightly too simplified, considering they represent the face of the Hotel. There were also a few staff members who couldn't immediately answer our questions. The breakfast lineup and taste felt somewhat lacking as well.

    Spacious and clean.

    The view is great, and it’s a very beautiful and lovely Hotel. However, when I visited the bar and enjoyed some delicious cocktails, the manager's attitude was somewhat disappointing.

    Very convenient as it is a 0-minute walk from Nagasaki Station. The room and its facilities were excellent. However, since it is directly above the station, you can hear train and announcement noises clearly. For those sensitive to noise, rooms on higher floors or on the opposite side might be better.

    It was a wonderful stay.

    The Room was clean and very comfortable, perhaps because it is still new. Furthermore, the view was good, and I was able to relax in the Room. The staff's response was courteous, and I felt comfortable. The breakfast was also delicious. The sushi restaurant we visited for dinner provided a wonderful time with the fun atmosphere created by the chef's personality and the delicious sushi. It was my first time in Nagasaki, but it became a very good memory. Thank you very much.

    The excellent Facility and hospitality were outstanding. The view from the Room matched the scenery, and the amenities were well-equipped. The location was also excellent, allowing for a comfortable trip.

    In-room dining is...

    I had some business in Nagasaki and stayed for one night. The room was spacious and clean, with a bath that allowed you to see outside, making it comfortable. The bed was also very comfortable. However, I was surprised that the coffee maker in the room was broken and only a little coffee came out. I was planning to have a light meal in the lounge and then have in-room dining, but when I looked at the menu (which can only be viewed on the TV screen), there was no mention of alcohol. When I called, I was told that they do not serve alcohol. In the end, since I had already had a light meal in the lounge, the hotel's restaurant seemed too heavy, so I went outside. It reminded me of the COVID-19 pandemic... very disappointing. I wish I had known in advance. Also, the breakfast was overall not very tasty... The most disappointing thing was that the water for the tea was lukewarm. Since the displayed temperature was 82-83 degrees, it cooled down quickly due to the coldness of the cup, making it difficult to brew the tea, resulting in very weak tea. I tried warming the cup, but I couldn't drink hot tea. At the ryokan I stayed at the next day, I made tea with an ordinary electric pot, which wasn't stylish, but it was much better than this hotel because it was hot. I wish they would focus more on substance than style. Also, the foreign staff was bustling and noisy, which was unsettling. There were some good things, like being able to see fireworks from the room due to the opening of a nearby venue, and the location was excellent as it was directly connected to the station, but the service was typical of an international hotel considering the price, so I don't think there will be a next time... I hope they will improve as I think it's a new hotel. Thank you for this time.
