We do not recommend arriving by car.

I stayed in a Corner Suite for 2 nights and 3 days starting on 8/18. [Parking] The parking lot is quite far. Even when unloading or loading luggage with a suitcase, you cannot park for long. Also, the IKYU Reservation listed it as JPY 2,500 per night, but it had actually increased to JPY 3,000. [Guest Room] The Room was exactly as shown in the sample photos at the time of booking. The mattress was high quality, and the bathrobe and bath towels were nice; switching the shower temperature was also easy with a single button. The slippers were comfortable, and the pajamas were good as well. If I had to mention one thing that bothered me: the moment I entered the Room, a Marriott group commercial played at very high volume on the large-screen TV. [Lounge] My impression of the top-floor lounge was average. The aperitif selection was limited, and it was extremely crowded around 5:30 PM on the second day. There were fried chicken pieces, pizza toast, cheese, vegetables, and (possibly) Fukusaya castella cake. [Dining] (Dining rating applies to breakfast restaurant only) Overall it was very average. The Goto udon was memorably delicious. Because breakfast at Unzen Toen (where I stayed the previous night) was excellent, this inevitably felt less impressive by comparison. The omelet showed some creativity but was a bit hard to understand; I would have appreciated being able to choose classic fillings such as onion or ham as well. The rice and miso soup were not great, while Nagasaki’s local dish “Noppe” was delicious. [Staff Service] On Day 1 at breakfast, the male staff member who escorted me to my table provided outstanding service—his attention to detail in every movement stood out. On Day 2, however—the female staff member’s lack of capability was noticeable and disappointing. The front desk felt somewhat lacking; explanations often came only after the fact. That said, since this applied only during check-in support, it wasn’t enough to be a major complaint. [Access] The location is convenient for getting anywhere. There are no steep slopes nearby; Urakami and Glover Garden are both within about 10 minutes from the taxi stand in front of the station. It’s faster and more convenient to take a taxi from that stand than to call one. A taxi ride up to Mt. Inasa’s summit cost JPY 6,900 round trip (plus an additional JPY 1,000 summit parking fee).

    A comfortable and convenient Hotel

As it is a new Hotel, my stay was very comfortable. The view from the Room balcony was wonderful and made for great memories. The breakfast buffet was lavish and delicious. The Hotel is right in front of Nagasaki Station and close to the tram stop and bus terminal, which was very convenient.

    Excellent!

We stayed at the Nagasaki Marriott for two nights, in a Harbor View Suite on the top (13th) floor. With the summer Plan, Child Sharing Existing Bedding and breakfast were free for our child, so it was an excellent value. We also arranged a sofa bed for an additional fee (8,960 yen), and it was very comfortable. The Hotel is directly connected to Nagasaki Station, so access is outstanding. It’s easy to dine and shop at the station building, which was extremely convenient. Because we checked in late, we used room service, and every dish was high quality—we were very satisfied. In addition to Goto udon and burgers, there were plenty of kids’ menu options as well. From the room we could see large cruise ships, and the Harbor View scenery was truly spectacular. As it has only recently opened, the property is very clean throughout, and the modern, sophisticated interior design left a strong impression. The bathroom had a spacious round bathtub; the vanity had an easy-to-use double sink; and with two toilets available as well, our family stay was very comfortable. We had breakfast on both days; some items changed between days so we never got bored. Local Nagasaki specialties such as kakuni buns and sara udon were all delicious, as were the shumai. There was also a wide selection of cheeses, dried fruits, and breads. Both Japanese- and Western-style options were plentiful—something international guests would enjoy too. We couldn’t use the lounge during food service hours, but since it’s open 24 hours a day, it was nice to relax there with coffee. In terms of location, rooms, dining options, and service overall satisfaction was high—it was a very comfortable stay. This is a Hotel we would definitely like to stay at again when visiting Nagasaki.

I’m glad I chose to stay here.

For me, the most important thing about a Hotel is its location. Step out of the Hotel entrance and you’re at Nagasaki Station, which has a tourist information center, a dining area, and souvenir shops. Next door is a department store with a supermarket, and it also has a restaurant floor. The airport bus and streetcar are also just steps away. The Hotel is new and clean. As an international-brand Hotel, the Rooms are comfortably sized and the beds are large, so you can relax. I liked the breakfast venue setup—it was neither too big nor too small, and I thought the table layout and sizing were well done. Breakfast is buffet-style, but everything was arranged compactly, with plenty of local dishes included, which I really appreciated. I liked both the atmosphere and the food so much that I ended up staying for about 90 minutes. I stay at many Hotels, but this was a first for me—so I must have really enjoyed it. At this Hotel, I think it might have been worth booking a club-level stay as well. As for my overall evaluation of the Hotel itself: front desk service, hospitality, Room amenities, cleanliness—none of these stood out as exceptional; they were simply average. Still, there was nothing to complain about, and my stay was comfortable. When I visit Nagasaki again, I will stay here again.

    Petit Monaco?

We made a Reservation for a balcony harbor-view Room. The Room was just as lovely as we had hoped, and we were mostly satisfied. One downside was that even with the light on the bathroom magnifying mirror, it was still hard for me to see clearly due to my presbyopia, which was disappointing. When we heard a ship’s horn and stepped out onto the balcony, the cruise ship and scenery were beautiful—we got excited and joked that it felt like “Petit Monaco,” laughing together. At the breakfast buffet, the “Ago-dashi” curry and omelet were delicious. With Nagasaki Station right outside the entrance, I think the location is excellent as well. All of the staff were kind, and we were able to enjoy Nagasaki for the first time in about 30 years. Thank you very much.

    Highly satisfied

This Hotel opened two years ago, and the Facility is new and spotless. The breakfast buffet and the French lunch are both excellent. It is also right next to the station with very convenient access, making it a Hotel I would like to visit again.

    It was comfortable.

Whenever I visit Nagasaki, I stay here every time. This time, the Room faced a different direction than before, and the night view was beautiful. The Room is spacious and has a sturdy table, which is convenient when using a laptop. Since this Room did not have a bathtub, it was fine for this season, but in winter you may prefer a type with a bathtub.

A Hotel with outstanding staff hospitality and exceptional convenience

I chose to stay here because of the excellent convenience of being directly connected to Nagasaki Station, but it turned out to be an outstanding stay that far exceeded my expectations. It was easy to get anywhere for sightseeing, and I was able to get around very efficiently. What impressed me most was the staff’s service. Everyone spoke to me warmly at just the right moments, allowing me to truly relax. The Room was thoroughly cleaned down to every detail, and for the Accommodation Fee, the Room size was more than sufficient and felt wonderfully spacious. The view from the club lounge was breathtaking, and I enjoyed a relaxing time there. The afternoon tea not only looked adorable but also tasted fantastic—I was completely satisfied. When I visit Nagasaki again, I would definitely like to stay here again.

I’ve traveled all over Japan and to many places abroad, but this Hotel can be summed up in one word: outstanding. It’s even better than Marriott properties overseas.

    Thank you very much.

I had a very comfortable stay—thank you very much. Two minor points: Regarding the Room called “Corner Junior Suite,” the term “corner” felt different from what is generally expected. This may not be directly related to the Hotel, but the SMS messages from the sushi restaurant before and after use were a bit bothersome.

    New and comfortable

The property was new, conveniently located, and had a great view. However, we had to wait quite a long time at check-in, and when I asked for a shipping slip for courier service at checkout, I was told to request it elsewhere and was refused. It was disappointing that someone declined even though it would have only required handing over the form. I understand they seemed busy, but overall it left a poor impression.

    It was excellent.

We were given a complimentary upgrade to a Room with a balcony overlooking the ocean. The Room was spacious and spotless, and the bathtub was large and comfortable enough for my 183 cm husband to stretch out and soak. The breakfast buffet offered such a wide variety that we couldn’t try everything, and it was all delicious. As expected of Marriott, it was a Hotel we would definitely like to stay at again.

A Room You Won’t Want to Leave

This was my first time staying here. The Room was wonderful. It was a bit disappointing that check-out is as early as 11:00. I would have loved to spend more time in the Room.

    Couples’ Trip

It was our first trip as a couple in over 17 years since our child was born, and we stayed here for the occasion. The location is excellent, right in front of the station, and the bell desk stored our luggage even before check-in. They also provided thorough sightseeing guidance. Despite the unfortunate weather disrupting our plans, we still enjoyed sightseeing, had coffee on the 13th-floor lounge, and enjoyed desserts as well—so we were able to relax and spend unhurried time at the Hotel, which left us completely satisfied. The in-room coffee was espresso only, which felt a little lacking, but the Room was spacious and wonderful, making it a truly lovely travel memory.

    Dinner was excellent.

The view from the 7th-floor check-in counter really made me feel like I was in Nagasaki. The Room design is modern and clearly crafted to delight guests. However, international Hotel rooms tend to be built to overseas standards, so they felt a bit large for Japanese guests. The best part was the French dinner. The night-view location was great, but the food itself was outstanding. Even the meat dish—something I don’t usually expect much from—was truly delicious. The staff’s hospitality also reminded me why it’s Marriott.

It was new and very comfortable!

Twin room with double beds The beds were incredibly comfortable! It was their 2nd anniversary. When I visited Nagasaki last time, the Marriott hadn’t been completed yet, so I’d been hoping to stay here on my next trip. An amazing location close to the station!! A Hotel I definitely want to stay at again!!

    A Hotel with Warm Hospitality

I stayed here with my elementary school-aged daughter during the Christmas season. I was torn between Marriott and Hilton, but chose Marriott because it offered better value for children. When choosing a Hotel, cleanliness and breakfast are always the deciding factors for me—and both were truly five-star! Breakfast featured many handmade items, and everything—from the steamed chicken to the Japanese oden and each stir-fried dish—was delicious. The fruit was fresh as well, and we were very satisfied. As for cleanliness, both the bathroom and toilet were thoroughly cleaned down to every corner and were spotless. The air-conditioning system was excellent too: it didn’t feel dry, and adjusting the temperature was effortless. On Christmas Eve, there was a gift of sweets hanging on our doorknob, and at the breakfast restaurant we could feel the staff’s warm smiles and calm professionalism, which made our stay very pleasant. It’s close to the station so it’s extremely convenient, and even in unfortunate rainy weather we didn’t have a single inconvenience. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality.

Adjacent to Nagasaki Station! A very clean and wonderful Hotel!

We stayed for three nights in a harbor-view Room for my husband’s birthday trip. The moment you step into the Hotel’s first floor, there is a wonderful fragrance. It’s new, spaciously designed, very clean, and we felt comfortable throughout our stay. The staff were also very kind and helpful. In particular, many of the housekeeping staff were from overseas, and I was impressed by their warm smiles and very courteous service. Two things I personally found especially convenient were: “Power outlets are everywhere!” and “The toilet is separate from the bathroom!” Thank you for taking care of us. A highly recommended Hotel!

    Convenient for sightseeing in Nagasaki!

Directly connected to Nagasaki Station, with convenient luggage storage available before check-in and after check-out. With such great access, we were able to take the shuttle bus to Mt. Inasa at night and catch the bus from Nagasaki Station to Iojima the next morning. The lounge also offered a wide variety of food and drinks, making for a very enjoyable stay. They even helped us celebrate our anniversary, which made it an especially wonderful experience. We’ll definitely stay here again when we visit Nagasaki!

    Convenient access.

The view from our Room was outstanding. However, I was surprised that the amenities were on the level of a Business Hotel. Even though we were on a Multiple Night Stay, when we returned to the Room on the second day, only the partially used items from the first night were left as they were—no new supplies had been added. If this is meant to be a refined, top-tier international Hotel, I would like to see more generous hospitality in this area. It was disappointing, especially because Nagasaki is such a wonderful place. The steakhouse manager’s service was five-star—we told each other that we would love to see him again.

    Too stylish

The Room was difficult for an elderly guest who is not used to traveling. It was a spacious, stylish Room with no wall between the washbasin area and the bedroom, but I was surprised to hear afterward that they didn’t know how to use the partitions and ended up bathing with everything left open, feeling cold. I’m not sure whether guidance to the Room or an explanation of the facilities is omitted at check-in, but fortunately they returned from the trip without catching a cold. We chose this Hotel near Nagasaki Station to reduce the burden on my travel-inexperienced parent, but sadly it turned out to be inconvenient instead. They seemed satisfied with the breakfast buffet, saying each ingredient was delicious.

    It was amazing!!

The hotel's location is excellent, and the room is lovely. The night view could be enjoyed from this room. The front desk staff and restaurant staff were very kind, smart, and professional in their service. Breakfast included Nagasaki specialties with an overwhelming variety of dishes, all of which were incredibly delicious. I was truly impressed. I will definitely visit again! Thank you very much.

    I’ve come to love Nagasaki.

We enjoyed a Multiple Night Stay in the “Kamome Suite.” From the moment we arrived at the parking lot, the staff’s hospitality was outstanding—I was truly impressed and thought, “This is Marriott.” The Room features a luxuriously spacious balcony that you can walk around 180°, creating an open, airy feel. There are also two comfortable sofa areas. It was a hot day, but a pleasant breeze flowed through, and spending time with a glass of wine in hand was simply wonderful. The view from the club lounge was also spectacular, and we were able to relax and enjoy unhurried time. Here as well, we were comforted by the staff’s warm smiles and attentive care. For dinner, we dined at Sushi-Ten. Chatting with the chef was so enjoyable that we lost track of time while savoring both the food and drinks. Every dish was delicious, and we could truly appreciate each one. I even got full midway through the course and later found myself thinking I should have asked from the start for smaller rice portions and lighter seasoning. It had been a while since our last trip to Nagasaki, but we were blessed with great weather, enjoyed our drive, and had an incredibly happy time. We would love to visit again.

    Excellent

This was my first stay, and the service was truly outstanding. The room was thoroughly cleaned and very comfortable. The lounge offers a great selection of drinks, but the variety of snacks seemed a bit limited. It seems like the options have decreased in both Nagoya and Tokyo as well—perhaps it can't be helped? Still, the taste is excellent! For breakfast, I tried it at the breakfast venue instead of the lounge for the first time, but it didn't leave much of an impression. That said, everything tasted delicious! The meat and potato stew was slightly bland, and the rice was a bit too soft for my preference. Nonetheless, I will definitely stay at Nagasaki Marriott Hotel again when I visit Nagasaki!
