    The building and facilities were clean, and the satisfaction level was high.

    Thank you for accommodating us for a short stay of 2 nights and 3 days. The building and facilities were very clean and excellent. The pool was also a great joy for the children. We would love to use your accommodation again when we visit Ishigaki Island next time. It was a bit disappointing that there seemed to be no IKYU Diamond benefits at the time of reservation (apologies if I am mistaken), and although the benefits were available during our stay, we could not take advantage of them.

    Perfect for your needs

    The Room had direct access to the pool, a float was available, and there was a washing machine in the Room—everything our family needed. We enjoyed the buffet meals for breakfast and dinner without getting bored of the options. It became a wonderful memory for us. Thank you!

    Unfortunately.

    I have been visiting Ishigaki Island for decades and always look forward to both the island and hotel life. The facilities at this hotel are new, clean, and nice. However, explanations are almost non-existent as they rely heavily on QR codes. This can be inconvenient for older guests who are not tech-savvy. When I checked the location of certain items, they were in a different building than described, which was disappointing. A map of the hotel's facilities would make things much clearer. It seems like the hotel might be targeting younger guests, but unfortunately, the hospitality was lacking. My friends and I agreed that we probably won't return next time.

    The premises may be initially difficult to navigate.

    For those planning to stay here, here's some information based on my experience. Stayed for 2 nights. The weather was great, allowing us to fully enjoy the view. Check-in and check-out are primarily done online, and the Facility guide is also accessible online. While this approach avoids unnecessary interactions, the buildings are separated, so it's easy to get lost if you don't pay attention during the check-in explanation. If your Room is in a building far from the front desk, note that parking lots differ; it's wise to ask for recommended parking at the front desk before unloading your luggage. I wanted to relax by the poolside; however, unfortunately, the central pool is very small with only about five chairs available—making it less relaxing. Rooms with private pools are highly recommended. Room cleaning service only includes towel replacement and trash collection. They do enter your Room but seem to do just that—slippers were left untouched (laughs). Meals are buffet-style with one main dish served at dinner time. There were many Okinawan dishes available. The Hotel has a shop mainly selling drinks (including alcohol) and several vending machines on-site. However, there’s no convenience store within walking distance. Lastly, as a Diamond member: It seems new Diamond benefits have been introduced recently—I couldn’t take advantage of them since I booked early—but apparently you can receive a ¥3,000 voucher now!

    Comfortable Seaside Hotel Stay

    The spacious room with an ocean view featured a clean design and was very comfortable. The staff provided attentive service, giving a sense of security. The room we stayed in had convenient access to the parking lot and restaurant, with well-thought-out pathways. The restaurant had a great atmosphere, and the food was delicious. As travelers who like to make the most of our mornings, it would be even better if breakfast started earlier. Additionally, since this hotel has such charm that makes you want to stay longer, offering more variety in main dishes for dinner could further enhance satisfaction.

    The Room had a great...

    The Room had a great view, was clean, and spacious enough to relax comfortably. The pool is small but very clean, with vibrant and beautiful plants; enjoying a drink by the poolside was delightful. Due to an activity requiring an early ferry departure at 8 AM, we had to rush through breakfast. It seems others experienced the same situation. Starting breakfast 30 minutes earlier would make it even better.

    This is a Hotel we hope you will support!

    My husband and I stayed at VIVOVIVA for the first time. Since it’s a new Hotel, everything was incredibly clean. The Room was very spacious and functional, with a stunning view of the beautiful ocean right in front of us, especially on a clear day. However, we felt that the variety of dishes for breakfast and dinner was somewhat limited. The Ishigaki beef steak we ordered as an extra was delicious, but some items were shared between breakfast and dinner menus, making the dinner options feel particularly limited. Compared to other places we often stay at like Fusaki or Granvrio, this stood out as a significant difference. That said, everything else was very satisfying! We hope VIVOVIVA takes this feedback into account and continues to improve—best wishes!

    The accommodation for this 4-night, 5-day stay was "VIVOVIVA Ishigaki Island." The front desk is housed in a stylish, horizontally long building with high ceilings, and as it has been open for about a year, the check-in process involves operating a screen. The front desk staff provided service with bright smiles and cheerful voices. The accommodation building is three stories tall and horizontally long. Although there was some distance to the room, we enjoyed walking along beautifully maintained pathways lined with tropical plants. Our room was on the third floor and consisted of a living room, dining area, and bedroom. From the terrace beyond the living room window, you can enjoy views of the blue ocean. Listening to gentle waves while relaxing creates an unparalleled sense of happiness. In the bathroom area, there is a washing machine next to the sink/dressing space and beyond that is the bathtub/shower area—this washing machine comes in handy after playing at sea! The kitchen includes appliances such as a microwave oven, refrigerator, IH stove top cooker (induction), coffee maker & electric kettle; however note: no cooking utensils are provided so actual meal preparation isn’t possible here. For meals: separate restaurant-and-poolside-bar facilities exist onsite where breakfast/dinner services occur within same venue but differ slightly between times-of-day offerings... Dinner allows guests choice main dish selection alongside buffet-style accompaniments which rotate daily ensuring variety remains fresh/exciting throughout stays! Deliciousness guaranteed especially notable highlight being “Agu Pork” praised highly due its aroma/tender texture/flavorful taste though personal wish-list item might include Ishigaki Beef Steak someday perhaps? Directly outside hotel lies expansive ocean view yet swimming/snorkeling discouraged given strong currents/muddy conditions post-rainfall instead nearby beaches recommended alternatives meanwhile family-friendly pool available indoors catering younger children primarily. Staff interactions consistently warm welcoming positive energy-filled greetings encountered everywhere around property enhancing overall experience further enhanced via digitalized pamphlet system accessible QR-code scanning smartphones enabling seamless navigation/tipping options customizable amounts recipients chosen directly interface itself!     The Room was very spacious, allowing for a relaxing stay. Although we did not use the pool this time, we enjoyed the resort-like atmosphere. One concern was that the amenities were somewhat simple considering the price. It would be nice if they were more comprehensive. Additionally, while dishes were available on each floor, there was no prior notice about this, which caused some confusion. They were also a bit far from the Room, making them slightly inconvenient to use. That said, overall it was a comfortable stay and we had a leisurely time.

    I stayed for two nights. The lobby and the Room were stylish, and I had a very comfortable stay. The welcome ice cream was a nice touch, but since it was only available from 3 PM to 5 PM, it would be helpful if the service could extend to a later time. The Room was well-equipped without excess or shortage, making it suitable even for long-term stays. While laundry detergent is available for purchase, it would be more convenient to have at least one provided in the Room as going to the front desk to buy it felt inconvenient. The pool wasn’t very large but had a stylish design that my children enjoyed. Breakfast offered slightly different menus each day, which I appreciated. The restaurant staff provided excellent and courteous service as well.

    The room type chosen was the "Ocean View Special Room without Pool." It was very spacious, clean, and offered an excellent view from the window. With four beds and a large sofa in the living area, we were able to relax comfortably. This level of space and cleanliness at this price range is rare to find in Ishigaki Island. A drum-type washing machine was also provided in the room, which made daily laundry very convenient. This accommodation offers a style that feels like a mix between a hotel and a condominium. It’s perfect for those who prefer to spend their time quietly at their own pace rather than seeking excessive services or resort-like experiences. It’s also recommended for those who might feel overwhelmed by glamorous resort hotels like Fusaki Beach or ANA InterContinental. 【Points of Concern】 ① While our room was comfortable, rooms with direct pool access seem to lack privacy as opening the curtains makes the interior visible from outside. Although having direct access to the pool is appealing, it may be reassuring for privacy-conscious guests to confirm their room location beforehand. ② Breakfast The breakfast buffet was delicious; however, during stays longer than three nights, we noticed that some dishes remained unchanged and wished for more variety. ③ Cleaning Service During our stay, towels were replaced daily and trash collected; however, regular cleaning of the room wasn’t included by default. While cleaning could be requested via mobile order service, it seemed only possible during towel replacement times. By the third night of our stay, we started noticing some dirtiness in the room—offering optional cleaning services would enhance comfort for long-term guests. *We’ve seen similar feedback mentioned in other reviews as well; addressing this could make this accommodation even better. ④ Kitchen Area Although there is an impressive kitchen in the room, there were no utensils such as cutlery or basic items like sponges or dishcloths available. This made it difficult to properly clean after using appliances like coffee makers. Since such great facilities are already provided, having basic kitchen supplies prepared would be much appreciated!

    The meals are delicious, but if you arrive a little late, the food might be cold and there may not be much to choose from. They don't ask how you'd like your beef cooked, so if you don't prefer rare, it might be better to opt for pork or chicken.

    It's a decent hotel. However, it seems more like a hideaway hotel for adults rather than one to stay with small children. Unfortunately, there is no beach in front.

    The view is outstanding.

    I stayed one night in an ocean view Room. The view from the Room was excellent. The Room was spacious, and it was nice that the bedroom had a proper door. Also, it was nice that the basic cosmetics were PORA, and the hairdryer was Panasonic's Nanoe. I didn't expect anything from the condominium's hairdryer, so it was a pleasant surprise. For breakfast, the restaurant had wide spacing between seats, so even a solo diner could eat comfortably, which was nice. What I would like to see improved is the kitchen area. I cooked in the kitchen at night, but there was no dish rack, so I had trouble finding a place to put the washed dishes. Also, it was inconvenient that there was no kitchen paper, and there was no towel rack, which was inconvenient because I often washed my hands while cooking. There is really nothing around, so I recommend stocking up well at the supermarket in advance. Overall, I was satisfied, so I would like to come again.

    Used during the Ishigaki Marathon.

    I stayed at this Hotel in advance for the Ishigaki Marathon. I had arranged a surprise cake beforehand, and the manager kindly assisted, making the surprise a success. The Hotel itself was very clean and well-maintained, and I would love to stay here again. The staff provided excellent service with great attention to detail. Although I didn’t choose a dinner-included Plan, I enjoyed the breakfast buffet—it was delicious! I booked a Room with a pool, but it’s definitely better suited for warmer seasons! The Room was very spacious with an amazing view. I will absolutely stay here again. Thank you so much!

    Wonderful Hotel!

    I had a great experience last May, so I stayed here again. The Hotel is still new and comfortable, as expected. The Room was part of a leave-it-to-us Plan, but once again, I got a spacious and bright Room on the second floor with a sea view. The bedding was comfortable, and I had a dreamy time. However, if I may say, the previous stay had a more relaxed atmosphere in a good way. Last time, due to the limited number of local buses, I could enter the Room earlier than the official check-in time if I arrived early, and breakfast was available 15 minutes before the official opening time. This time, everything was on schedule (which is normal). If I may express a wish, the nearest local bus stop is a few hundred meters away, and the bus departs at 7:44 (the next one is about three hours later), so with breakfast opening at 7, it was tough to fully enjoy the delicious food without rushing. If an early restaurant opening is difficult, it would be nice to have a perk allowing early entry for early morning local bus users.

    I was able to relax.

    Clean, luxurious hotel available at an affordable price. Spacious room with separate toilet and bath, equipped with a refrigerator and IH, making it suitable for long stays. I would like to use it again. This time, it was midwinter, so I thought it would be nice to have a sauna and a large public bath. Also, there was a Shuttle Service. The room pool could be used if it had warm water, but it might be difficult; I would like to come in summer next time.

Although advertised as an infinity pool experience conceptually appealing measures like privacy screens or restricting access along sea-facing paths should enhance guest comfort significantly while addressing concerns over visibility into rooms (e.g., bathrooms).     Resort-like atmosphere at an affordable price.

    I stayed in an ocean view room with a pool for three nights with breakfast included. The room was spacious, equipped with a kitchen and a washer-dryer, making it comfortable. The beautiful sea right in front of us gave a satisfying feeling of being in Ishigaki. Although I was slightly concerned that two out of four people would have to sleep on the sofa, the sofa was large enough to function as a bed when the backrest was removed, and it was not uncomfortable to sleep on. I had read a review beforehand that the white sofa was stained, so I was prepared, but although there was some wear and tear, it was in reasonably clean condition, which was reassuring. During the multiple night stay, only towel exchange and garbage disposal were provided, with no room cleaning, which seems to be becoming the norm lately. However, depending on the cleaning staff for the day, they would lightly clean the room, which was nice. However, there were days when dust and hair on the floor were left as they were, and it felt unpleasant to stay in a room with dust and hair left as they were, even though I clean every day at home. At the very least, if there were cleaning tools like a quick wiper in the corner, I could clean it myself, so please consider this. Perhaps because cleaning during the stay is skipped, there was mold on the bathroom floor, even though it is a new hotel that just opened this spring. Since it is a TOTO Hokkarari floor with deep grooves, there were spots of black mold in the crevices... I think it's a waste because water areas deteriorate quickly if not cleaned frequently. On the first day, we arrived at night, so we didn't have time to eat out and bought groceries at the supermarket before entering the hotel. It was helpful that we could freely borrow cooking utensils and dishes to use in the kitchen, allowing us to prepare simple meals. The breakfast menu was almost the same for all three days, but there was Blue Seal ice cream, and the menu was rich in local cuisine, which I looked forward to every morning. There was also a corner of what seemed to be a primeval forest within the hotel grounds, and there were many subtropical plants, making it enjoyable to take a walk around.

    I was very satisfied.

    The room was spacious with beautiful interior design, a great view, a fully automatic washing machine, and even an espresso machine. Everything was perfectly equipped, and I was thrilled! My daughter, who had a pile of laundry, was extremely delighted. The breakfast buffet was impressive, with a chef making omelets right in front of us and a wide variety of menu options. The shop had essential marine goods and, most notably, a range of Blue Seal ice cream flavors. The walking paths were beautifully landscaped, and the pool was pristine, leaving us in awe. I definitely want to visit again. Thank you very much.

    The Room was excellent!

    The Room was incredibly spacious and fantastic! Although it was a Room type "Leave it to us" Plan, I was healed by the location where I could see the sea from the Room. It seems there were Rooms directly connected to the pool (shared) right from the Room, but I thought that since the inside of the Room is completely visible from other guests, you would have to keep the curtains closed all the time. I thought a Room with a sea view was better, even though it wasn't directly connected to the pool. Moreover, it's cheaper. One point for improvement: Check-out was smooth due to the automatic check-out machine, but since the card case and card need to be returned to the front desk, if there is only one person at the front desk or if they are dealing with other Hotel guests, you end up waiting in line to return the cards even though you have already checked out, which was inefficient. I thought it would be nice to have something like a collection box.

    There are situations where being completely online can be inconvenient.

    The room is spacious and very comfortable, with a drum-type washing machine and a kitchen. However, I was a bit confused as the facility guide and cleaning requests can only be accessed online, and there was no explanation at check-in about the location of the restaurant or breakfast times. When requesting cleaning during a multiple night stay, there was no option for full cleaning in the menu, but having cleaning done would make the stay more pleasant (as there are many insects, and their remains tend to scatter on the floor).

    It was great!

    Stayed for one night on October 17th! Two middle-aged men, each in rooms 108 and 109! The drinks in the refrigerator were all-you-can-drink, but the middle-aged man couldn't finish them and lay on the long sofa, gazing at the island of Taketomi floating in the sea! We leisurely enjoyed the pool and the resort! I asked what the name of your Hotel means, but the response was "I don't know," which was disappointing! I hope the staff can at least be informed of the meaning! Also, the bathroom seemed small for the Room. Are the amenities a bit lacking? If asked if I would come again, I would say I will if you consider the Shuttle Service a bit more! There is a neighboring Hotel. If I were to go, it would only be by taxi or rental car! But don't worry, the Hotel itself is not bad!

    The room is clean.

    The room is spacious and clean. Depending on the room, it can be quite far from both the front desk and the elevator. We used the stairs up to the third floor each time. There was no bath mat, room wear, or water in the bathroom, possibly due to being uncleaned or forgotten. When we called the front desk, they kindly brought the bath mat. We went to buy the water ourselves.
