    Wedding Anniversary

    My favorite time of the year has arrived! Yes, I am a Christmas-loving person. I love this time of year when the whole city is covered in illuminations, Christmas songs are playing, and I can feel happy! However, this year, I want to enjoy the Christmas spirit slowly and fully, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and share such a premium trip with my wife. Coinciding with our 24th wedding anniversary, we carefully selected from many Hotels and chose this Hotel, "FIVE SPRING RESORT THE SHIRAHAMA." We splurged on a suite Room. In addition to the luxurious all-inclusive suite Plan, the words "Christmas Plan" caught my heart, and with high expectations, we checked in. As we entered the front desk, Christmas songs were playing, and staff in Santa costumes greeted us with smiles. We were even moved by the piano performance. As we headed to our Room, still in high spirits, we found a wreath hanging, making us feel like children again. Furthermore, a Christmas tree welcomed us, and our spirits soared to the highest! Conversations with my wife flowed. The excellence of the Room, cuisine, and Onsen goes without saying. It thoroughly healed the fatigue of the year. We promised each other to come again next year.

    It was a trip with my wife for the first time in a while. Our children have become working adults, and as things have settled down, I remembered going to Wakayama during our single days. My wife mentioned that there is a newly opened Hotel, so we decided to indulge a little! As expected from a new place, the building had a luxurious feel, and it made us feel extravagant. The sea in front of the Hotel offered the best view, and I was glad my wife was pleased. It was a bit cold, but since we were there, we decided to try the Onsen pool inside the Hotel, and it was warmer than expected, so it was the right choice! The meals were delicious, featuring fresh seafood and kaiseki cuisine typical of Wakayama Prefecture, but it would have been nice to have some Western dishes as well. The lounge also had a nice atmosphere. The bath was also an open-air Onsen, and it was fantastic. Next year, I want to swim in the sea, so my wife and I are planning to go with our children in the summer!

    Great satisfaction

    The building is new and luxurious, and the spacious grounds were very soothing. The staff's attentiveness was excellent, allowing us to have a comfortable stay. The food was lavish, with plenty of seafood, and it was incredibly delicious. For this price with all-inclusive service, it is very satisfying.

    We stayed for one night with two upper-grade elementary school children. We usually use the Exiv in Shirahama, but we were excited to try this all-inclusive place that just opened this spring, and it was amazing! 【Staff】 The response was neither good nor bad, but they were polite. 【Room】 It was a room called Dragon. The children were thrilled as they could jump directly into the pool from the room, just like a lodge in the Maldives. Although the weather was a bit chilly, we thoroughly enjoyed it as it was an Onsen. It was very stylish and I think it's perfect for couples. 【Onsen】 The hot spring is said to be sourced directly from underground, and we enjoyed the unique smoothness of the Onsen both at night and in the morning. I think it would be better if there were a few more chairs for relaxation. 【Meals】 Despite having two picky children, they surprisingly ate a lot, including steak, abalone, and Ise lobster, and enjoyed the desserts to the fullest. As an adult, I fully enjoyed shochu, local sake, and champagne for the first time in a while. The breakfast was also too luxurious, but I couldn't eat much due to a hangover. 【Others】 The laser mapping on the walls was impressive. (I won't touch on the content as it would be a spoiler.) The Facility had a high level of design with paintings and such, but I couldn't really appreciate it due to my lack of aesthetic sense. There were quite a few large beetles and stag beetles, which delighted the children. Personally, I think it would be perfect if there was a sauna. We checked the website and social media like YouTube beforehand, so we were able to enjoy every corner. Thank you very much for taking care of us, the three of us. We will definitely visit again in early spring, so please take care of us then!

    Very satisfied. It was the best!

    We stayed for one night and two days with my wife. The hotel was simply the best, with the sea right in front and surrounded by nature. The building was very beautiful, and the room was spacious and comfortable. What impressed us was that we could enter the pool directly from the room's balcony. We could enjoy the private open-air bath next to the balcony after playing, and even adults could relax and enjoy it. Also, the meals were luxurious for both dinner and breakfast, with a wide variety of alcohol, which was very satisfying. Above all, the response of all the staff was good and kind, and it was a long time since we had a trip that healed us both physically and mentally. Next time, we plan to bring our children and stay for at least two nights, so we look forward to it. Thank you very much.

    Wonderful Hotel. This is the ultimate experience.

    I stayed with my wife and child. To conclude, it was such an excellent facility that I wished we had stayed for two nights. We arrived by train this time, and a staff member came to pick us up at the station, which was the first thing that impressed us with their excellent service. It was a very courteous response. The pool, which can be accessed directly from the room, seemed to use Onsen water, making it enjoyable even in winter. My wife and child were having a great time. It seems that the pool, which can be accessed directly from the room, is the first of its kind in Nanki Shirahama. A staff member explained to us that this hotel is a very rare facility where Onsen springs from within the premises, allowing us to enjoy Onsen 24 hours a day even in the room. My wife said her skin became smooth. The meals were kaiseki cuisine, with Ise lobster, meat, and local seafood dishes as the main features. It was very delicate cuisine, and although we have visited many luxury resorts before, this was the best quality. The BAR after the meal was also included in the price, so we were able to enjoy it as a family. Soft drinks for children were also fully equipped, and if all of this is included in the price, we are extremely satisfied. We will definitely come again in the summer.     Appearances can be deceiving.

    The actual building looks cheap despite its luxurious appearance. The restaurant feels like a cafeteria. All-you-can-eat spiny lobster and Kumano beef from the morning is too much. The Room and meals were not worth the price. Sorry for the negative opinion.
