    La Vista/Accommodation is a safe choice—you can’t go wrong.

    La Vista (Kyoritsu Group) is consistently a solid choice overall. “Upper mid-range”: not luxury, but a safe and reliable Accommodation, including the meals. Kannonzaki Terrace is a renewal of the former Keikyu Kannonzaki Hotel, with the bathing Facility “spasso” in a separate building offering a sauna and hot stone spa, providing a spacious and relaxing atmosphere. However, it’s a bit of a walk from the Hotel building and requires using an outdoor passageway for part of the route, which can be inconvenient on cold or rainy days.

    This was not my first stay here, but there were several disappointing points.

    This was my third stay. I always leave the Reservation to my travel-loving eldest daughter, and this time as well she booked through IKYU. We usually arrive a little before 3:00 p.m., and at check-in we request the earliest dinner seating. This time we also arrived shortly before 3:00 p.m., but were told, “The earliest seating is already full, so dinner will start at 7:45 p.m.” We were also told that priority for choosing dinner times has changed to guests who book via the official website. If the Hotel changed the rules for its own convenience, shouldn’t they notify guests who booked through channels other than the official site by phone or email? Also, as on our second-to-last visit, the meat served at dinner was tough and cold. Last time it was tender and served piping hot, so this was disappointing. Because our dinner was pushed to a late time, we couldn’t have the late-night soba we were looking forward to, and we could barely eat breakfast either. We liked this place and stayed about once every six months, but this visit made it clear that this is not a Hotel that values repeat guests. We probably won’t stay again.

    There were various services available, and the staff’s hospitality was pleasant, making our stay comfortable. Dinner was too much for us in our 50s and 60s, so we couldn’t fully enjoy the main dish, which was a bit disappointing. The breakfast omelet was a smaller size than at other hotels, which we liked. We also enjoyed the Japanese-style dishes. The bath was quiet on a weekday, with a great view and a comfortable temperature—very relaxing. It was also convenient that we didn’t need to make a Reservation for the private bath, and we were able to use it without waiting this time. Overall, we were very satisfied and would like to stay again for a birthday. We hope you will offer Plans such as a senior-friendly course that focuses more on quality than quantity, or a light-course Plan for dinner. We are grateful to the evening front desk staff for their kind help when I wasn’t feeling well. Thanks to them, we were able to enjoy our wedding anniversary trip. Thank you very much.

    Day-use

    We stayed here to celebrate a birthday. Unfortunately, the weather was not great, but we enjoyed the large public bath, had tea in the lounge, and relaxed in our Room. Dinner was a set course meal, and the staff member in charge kindly explained each dish and served us. When we mentioned it was a birthday celebration, they also added a message to our dessert. With pleasant service, delicious food, and a clean Facility, we had a wonderful time.

    The meals were so-so...

    The meals were so-so, but the steak was tough. The portions were too large. The bath requires going outside once, which is not acceptable. The weather was good on the day of our stay, but even though umbrellas are provided for rainy or snowy days, no thanks.

    Filial piety

    We stayed as three generations, traveling with my 91-year-old mother. Thank you for thoughtfully preparing a Room that was easy for her to get around in. Dinner and breakfast were outstanding. It was the best breakfast I’ve ever had on any trip—sashimi buffet in the morning and live tempura, and we were completely full from the start of the day.

    A Comfortable Room

    I was able to relax and enjoy the bath, and the Room was very clean, so I could spend my time in comfort. It turned into a wonderful day, as both of our wishes were met—I wanted to enjoy the bath and hot stone sauna for a long time, while my husband preferred a shorter bath and then relaxing in the Room.

    We stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

    We stayed to celebrate our wedding anniversary on the Spring Equinox holiday. We were impressed by the punctual and efficient round-trip Shuttle Service between the station and the Hotel, as well as thoughtful touches such as being able to enjoy light snacks in a scenic lounge while waiting to check in. It was clear they made every effort to minimize waiting time. The five private baths, each with a different design, featured gentle Onsen water, and high-quality amenities such as Mirable shower heads, allowing us to relax and enjoy the Onsen together. The spa annex also had massage chairs and a stone sauna, and we could enjoy ocean views from the open-air bath. The Room felt a bit dated around the bathroom area, but it was very clean. Since we were on the third floor, we were able to enjoy an ocean view. However, the slippers in the Room often caught my toes when walking and were difficult to walk in. As for dinner, it was disappointing that the pasta was softer than I prefer and that we couldn’t request how our meat was cooked. That said, portions were generous, and we were truly satisfied with the warm service—especially the anniversary message plate at dessert and a gifted instant photo with a handwritten message. Breakfast offered plenty of choices to suit our preferences. The Misaki tuna and whitebait were particularly good. I didn’t have enough room left for the navy curry this time, so I’d love to stay again. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

    We were very satisfied with this Hotel.

    I made a Reservation at a reasonable price with late check-in and early check-out, so I didn’t expect much from the meals, but dinner was a delicious full-course French meal and I was very satisfied. Breakfast also offered such a wide variety that I couldn’t finish everything, and it was all excellent—especially the locally sourced items. The Room was spacious, and the spa even had an outdoor bath with an ocean view, which I enjoyed while watching the ships go by. All of the Hotel staff were wonderfully hospitable, and I would definitely like to stay again. Thank you for taking such good care of me.

    A great-value Hotel.

    This was my first stay since the Keikyu Hotel became La Vista, and I think it has become a very nice Hotel. Because the old building has been renovated, there were a few spots where it still felt dated, but overall it has a clean finish with a warm, wood-toned design. There were thoughtful services that made it feel like a great value—welcome drinks on arrival, free beer and mineral water in the refrigerator, late-night soba after dinner, and ice cream after bathing. The French dinner was much improved compared with the Keikyu Hotel days, though it still didn’t quite have the polish of a top-tier Hotel. For breakfast, I enjoyed the buffet: the DIY seafood rice bowl was delicious, and there was plenty of variety. The five newly added private baths were also quite spacious, so I could relax and take my time. The downside is that to get to SPASSO you have to go outside once; on the day I went there was strong wind and rain, so I used only the private baths instead. It would be nice if they could add a covered or enclosed walkway. Inside the Hotel you can walk around freely in loungewear, and loungewear is also allowed at meals, so you can stay comfortable and relaxed. Above all else, this is an enjoyable Hotel for watching container ships and tankers sailing through Tokyo Bay as well as Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force escort ships (and on the night of my stay, Asuka II passed by!).

    Even if you check in before 3:00 PM, dinner will be served at 8:00 PM. This may be difficult for guests who arrive after having lunch as usual.

    A Nearby Resort

    I was able to relax and unwind at a nearby resort. With the Shuttle Service available, access was easy, and I was very satisfied. The hot stone sauna felt so good that I fell fast asleep. The reclining bath while looking out at the sea was also wonderful. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. My favorite was the all-you-can-add salmon roe at breakfast. I was looking forward to the late-night soba, but I was too full to try it—I'll have to come back for a second attempt. Since you need to walk outside from the Hotel building to the spa building, it may be a bit tough during colder seasons. We had an all-inclusive Plan, but there wasn’t much guidance at check-in, so unless you ask proactively, you might forget to make a Reservation for karaoke and similar activities. Also, I had requested something for my companion’s recovery celebration, but there was no message or note, which was a little disappointing. Next time, I’d like to visit again during a season when we can use the pool.

    Second time.

    As before, there was no child toilet seat or step stool. The area map was helpful for walking around. Having separate loungewear is great, and there are plenty of size options for children. The clock in the Room was about 13 minutes slow, and we ended up missing dinner time because of it. It made me realize for the first time that it’s better not to rely on the Room clock. Dinner was heavily seasoned, and the children drank a lot of water. Since the kids’ one-plate meal and the adults’ course meal were served at different times, we asked them to bring dishes out more quickly, and they accommodated us—much appreciated. Having five private baths was very convenient because we never had trouble getting in. There was chocolate among the after-bath ice creams, which was a big hit with the kids. The SPASSO hot stone sauna was excellent; I would have liked to enjoy it more if time had allowed. We visited last time in summer and this time in winter. It was nice to see some improvements as well. We’d like to stay here again when visiting the Yokosuka area.

    Hmm...

    The private bath is never available at all—you should switch to a Reservation system! During the meal, there was a large group of Chinese guests who were loud and exhausting, though the food was delicious. While I was using karaoke, two people—probably Chinese—came into the karaoke Room without permission and gestured as if to say “get out.” From now on, I will stay at properties that do not accept large groups of Chinese guests. You should be more selective about which guests you accept.

    Perfect for families with children!

    We had a wonderful trip with our grandchild as a group of three. Thank you to the staff for your thoughtful service in ways we might not have noticed when traveling as just the two of us. The baths, table tennis, meals, and lounge were all great. We’ll be back again—thank you!

    Disappointed

    The Room, location, meals, and service were all very satisfying. However, the bath was disappointing. To access the large public bath, you have to step outside of the Hotel. I went to the large public bath in the cold sea breeze. After bathing, I felt chilled due to the winter cold and even got caught in light rain. I thought it would be better if there was a proper covered walkway.

    I thought it was a wonderful Hotel.

    The staff's hospitality was excellent. The welcome drink service and breakfast buffet were delightful experiences. However, during this stay in a room on the 3rd floor of the hotel building, the air conditioning was outdated and the heating did not work, which was a critical issue. I would love to stay again, so I hope this can be improved. Additionally, it was disappointing that the sauce for the sirloin steak at dinner tasted like sweet soy glaze, ruining its flavor. My partner also mentioned that fish skin should be crispy as it becomes difficult to cut otherwise. I'm also interested in trying glamping next time! Thank you very much for this experience.

    Excellent service

    We made a last-minute Reservation and stayed at La Vista. Although we couldn't go sightseeing due to strong winds, we were truly glad to stay here. The dining services, spa, and meals (both quality and quantity) were absolutely satisfying. The grape aperitif served at dinner was exceptional and so delicious that I wanted a refill. Additionally, the aromatherapy massage we booked for an extra fee was outstanding. We will definitely come back!

    The operation was extremely poor.

    I chose this accommodation because of its high ratings and proximity to the city, but it was a big mistake. Dinner took 20 minutes to arrive after we were seated. Meanwhile, others who arrived later were being served promptly, leaving us as the only ones waiting. When we finally received our food and mentioned the delay, the staff reacted as if it couldn’t have happened. Despite having many guests, there was no one monitoring the floor. No one noticed when water spilled or responded when we tried to order drinks. It was truly shocking. It seems impossible to serve so many people at once with a course meal setup like this. Also, while the stone sauna was excellent, it was mixed-gender in use. At night especially, I felt it could be unsafe—there were no staff members around anywhere—which would make it impossible for me to go alone. I don’t think I’ll ever stay at a hotel from this group again.

    Service is excellent.

    Initially, I made a reservation through the hotel's official website, thinking it was the best deal. About a week before the reservation date, I happened to check IKYU.com for the same plan and discovered that it was even more affordable with point rewards and instant coupons! I called the hotel to inform them of this and to confirm the cancellation fee. They kindly offered to waive the cancellation fee (even though it was within a period where fees would normally apply) if they could immediately confirm my reservation on IKYU.com. Thanks to their flexibility, I was able to reserve the same plan at an even better price. I had expected to pay a cancellation fee, so their kind response truly impressed me. Although my stay was from 4 PM as part of a short-stay plan, they informed me that my room was ready earlier than expected, allowing me early access—this made me very happy. The room itself was very clean and had a calm atmosphere. The complimentary snacks were also delightful! However, I did notice some signs of age in the sink area and heard faint motor-like noises late at night after midnight (possibly from an air conditioner). During my stay, I enjoyed using both the large public Onsen baths and private Onsen baths multiple times. The complimentary ice cream bars and probiotic drinks after bathing were wonderful touches. Dinner featured course meals that are not something we usually have often; each dish brought joy as we savored them one by one. Breakfast in the same venue included seafood bowls while overlooking views of the ocean—it was absolutely delicious. The staff left an impression with their bright smiles and approachable demeanor without feeling overly formal! This location is not far from home for us; hence we hadn’t considered traveling here before. However, staying at this hotel gave us an opportunity to explore nearby attractions—a great experience overall! My mother who stayed with me kept saying how amazing this hotel’s service spirit is—she couldn’t stop praising it!

    I had always wanted ...

    I had always wanted to stay here, and this time I was able to visit for the first time with my husband. The Room was clean with a great view, and the meals in the morning and evening were very delicious and filling. I was delighted by the thoughtful service of having binoculars in the Room. We enjoyed watching many ships passing by. Through the binoculars, we could also see beautiful views of landmarks like Skytree, Tokyo Tower, and Minato Mirai sparkling in the distance. The private bath was free to use, and all the staff were very pleasant. I would love to visit again!

    The Facility was new and comfortable. The private bath being available for free was very convenient for families. With five baths available, there was no need to wait to enjoy them. Dinner was delicious and visually appealing. It was a bit disappointing that the roasted duck breast felt slightly dry. Overall, I am very satisfied and will visit again!

    Enjoy the Sea and Cuisine

    Thank you for your stay at our glamping site. The service was stress-free, the BBQ ingredients were delicious, and the quantity and quality of the breakfast buffet were highly satisfying. Enjoying a morning bath while gazing at the blue sky and sea provided an extraordinary experience. Walking along the beach in front of us and collecting sea glass made for a delightful trip.

    The meals are delicious, but the bath is a bit far.

    The meals at Kyoritsu Resort are always delicious, and this location was no exception. However, the baths are a bit far... On rainy or cold days, having to step outside can be inconvenient. That said, the baths themselves are spacious and well-equipped with saunas and massage chairs, which were fantastic. If the access to the baths could be improved, I would love to visit regularly.

    Meals and bathing facilities were disappointing.

    Check-in is available from 4:00 PM under this Plan, but when arriving before 4:00 PM, the 5:30 PM dinner was already fully booked. For those interested, curry bread was offered as a substitute at 6:00 PM, but having bread before dinner might not be ideal. The 8:00 PM dinner felt prolonged and ended around 10:00 PM, leaving little appetite for the breakfast buffet we had been looking forward to. The bathing Facility is located in a separate building, requiring guests to walk with umbrellas in cold rain.

    Great value for money

    I chose this accommodation because of its high ratings and easy access from my home via public transportation. The facility was more compact than I expected, but that meant the large bath was not crowded, and there was no need to wait at a packed breakfast venue, which was great. The front desk being on the second floor and my room being close to it made it convenient to access the restaurant and lounge as well. The dinner course was decent (considering the price, they did a great job, so it's not a negative review), while breakfast exceeded my expectations despite not expecting much based on the accommodation fee—it turned out to be excellent. This has become a hotel I’d like to revisit about once a year for its bath and breakfast. The staff's hospitality was pleasant, making it an enjoyable stay. Thank you for your service!

    A Hotel with Wonderful Dining

    Thank you for your prompt and kind assistance despite our very late arrival. The dinner course was luxurious and tasted excellent, though the portions felt excessively large. We only used the Onsen and did not utilize other facilities, but the Onsen facility was quite far from the hotel building, making it inconvenient to access. There were three types of baths; however, they didn’t feel like authentic Onsen water, and despite being labeled as "hot bath," it seemed to have the lowest temperature. The absence of a sauna + cold bath was also disappointing. The mist room was just as its name suggests—a room with mist—and not a proper sauna, making it feel incomplete as a facility. The stone spa area was very small for mixed-gender use; fortunately, we could use it during late hours without waiting, but during peak times, long wait times are likely expected. Compared to La Vista Tokyo Bay, the facilities' layout and quality were significantly lower overall, which left us disappointed. The condition of our room was good but felt slightly outdated? Thanks to all staff members' kindness and excellent service, we had no inconvenience during our stay!

    Comfortable Accommodation

    We stayed as a family. The bath is in a separate building, requiring a short walk, but it was spacious, had a great view, and allowed us to relax. It was an accommodation where we could relieve our daily fatigue. The meals were delicious and excellent in content; however, the dinner portions were slightly large and we couldn't finish everything. It might be nice to have an option to choose between meat or fish for the main dish. The availability of drinks and snacks added to the enjoyment. Thank you very much!
