    Recommended for family trips with children!

    We took a family trip before our children’s summer vacation ended. The entire Facility was clean, and we were very satisfied. The meals were especially delicious, and the service was very kind. We would love to come again. Thank you.

    Relaxing trip

    The purpose of this trip was to relax, soak in the Onsen, enjoy delicious meals, and take it easy. The Room was very stylish, and we were able to spend our time comfortably. It was great that the lounge offers a 24-hour drink bar. (I did wish there were some small snacks as well.) We filled the take-home nol original tumbler with our favorite drinks and enjoyed them in the Room. When we went to the thermal pool right before closing time, it felt like we had it all to ourselves and could swim freely; afterward, we warmed up in the large public bath across from it. The large public bath is on the smaller side with four washing stations. It was also nice that both the pool and the large public bath have swimsuit spin dryers. There was origami in the lounge, and for the first time in a while I felt like a kid again and had fun folding paper—this was very soothing too. Unusually for a Hotel, there is a farm on-site where summer vegetables were growing. The vegetables served at dinner and breakfast made us wonder if they came from that farm, which made the meals even more enjoyable—and everything tasted great. The staff were wonderfully diverse and all very lovely. One small thing I noticed: the stylish faucet at the Room sink is a bit too long, making it hard to wash your face without splashing water everywhere (haha). Overall, it’s a truly wonderful Hotel where you can relax completely. On our way home, we received a small seedling sprouted from seeds of a maple tree from the farm and brought it back with us. I’d like to take good care of it as it grows.

    Exceptional Hospitality

    We visited as a family during the Obon holidays. Since our trip coincided with Obon, we were looking for a Hotel around Gora. It was our first stay, and everything—the Onsen pool, the Onsen, and the meals—was wonderful. The greenery outside the window and the birdsong were truly soothing. In particular, all of the Hotel staff were very attentive. During meals they kindly accommodated our requests, and during the Shuttle Service to Gora, the driver’s courteous service helped our whole family relax completely. This is a Hotel we would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

    It was a wonderful accommodation.

    I was able to relax both mentally and physically. The Room was spacious, and the open-air bath was very pleasant. I felt that a bit more consideration for privacy from outside views would have been nice. Most of the staff were foreigners, but their service was very polite and excellent. Both dinner and breakfast included plenty of vegetables and were gentle on the body. I look forward to staying again.

    I stayed for one nig...

    I stayed for one night in July. I used the Shuttle Service from Gora Station, but the driver’s driving felt very unsafe. I understand they were giving a local tour as part of the hospitality, but distracted driving is truly dangerous. An oncoming car even honked at us. Also, although it may be unavoidable due to the season, the entire open-air bath was covered with dead insects, which was quite unsettling. Dinner took an extremely long time to be served, and overall I couldn’t enjoy my stay much and left disappointed.

    Family Trip

    It’s a great Hotel. <What we liked> Surprisingly, there were hardly any insects for a Hotel in the mountains. That made us really happy. All the staff were cheerful and welcoming. There were many international staff members, but their Japanese was excellent and they never made us feel uncomfortable at all. We came to relax as a family, and the level of attentiveness felt just right for us—comfortable without being intrusive. Not having to bring towels from the room was fantastic. There were plenty of fresh towels piled up right in front of the large public bath. Filling the in-room Onsen took about 30 minutes, but soaking while looking out at the Hakone mountains was wonderful. The complimentary drinks were amazing. I did feel there weren’t many juice options for small children, but our family was satisfied. The thermal pool was outstanding—so much so that it made us want to come back again. There was also an outdoor terrace, but we didn’t use it because the sun felt too strong. Since we stayed on a weekday, we could enjoy it almost privately even during summer vacation season. We didn’t take photos because there were “no photography” signs, but it’s just as lovely as shown on the website. The atmosphere is completely different between daytime and nighttime, so I recommend trying both. It was also a nice bonus that there was a free swimsuit spin dryer in the changing room. And most importantly—the food is delicious. This time we only added breakfast, but it was a buffet that our whole family loved. There isn’t an overwhelming number of items, but the vegetables were excellent, and everything house-made (like ham) tasted great. For me, the smoothies and pudding stood out; my daughter loved the baguette and ham; my husband said the oden, sausages, and curry were especially good. I definitely recommend adding breakfast. <What could be improved> The loungewear. The moment I unfolded it… there was hair on it. That’s simply disappointing. Maybe because of the fabric material, there were lots of pills and it looked worn overall. Unfortunately none of us could make it work. The property is generally clean, but from a very detail-oriented perspective: several used towels were left sitting around by the thermal pool/deck area for quite some time, and there was noticeable limescale on our room’s showerhead. Still within a range we could overlook. Recommended for anyone who wants to unwind in nature among mountains. Because it isn’t a large Hotel overall stays quiet throughout. A relaxing walk through their well-kept garden followed by time in the thermal pool or Onsen—and then delicious food—made this trip truly enjoyable. It’s one of those Hotels I’d love to visit again.

    Thank you for a wonderful stay.

    Thank you very much for your hospitality the other day. The entire Accommodation felt very clean, and the interior design was wonderful, so I was able to relax comfortably from the moment I arrived. The lounge offered an impressive variety of teas, which became one of my favorite parts of the stay. All of the food was delicious as well, and I was very satisfied. What left the strongest impression was the breakfast buffet. It was centered around salads, and being able to freely combine a variety of toppings and sides felt refreshingly new. I used to think that a buffet is better with more items, but it was fantastic how this one focused on a clear theme while still feeling truly satisfying—and everything tasted great (though honestly, the chocolate Danish was my favorite). Since this time was just a one-night stay, I ended up too tired to use the pool, which is my only regret. With such well-equipped Facilities in-house, next time I would love to book a Multiple Night Stay and enjoy everything at a more relaxed pace. Thank you for such a comfortable stay. I look forward to staying again.

    It feels like I’m abroad.

    About 80% of the guests are international, and many of the staff are Asian. At breakfast, it felt like being abroad. I enjoyed my stay and had fun chatting a little with people from various countries. The pool and large public bath were clean. The meals were just the right portion size, and I was satisfied. Next time, I’d like to bring my grandchild. Excellent value for money.

    This is my second stay.

    I returned because I had such a great experience on my previous stay. As always, the staff’s hospitality was outstanding, and I truly enjoyed the delicious dinner. The vegetable-focused breakfast was also healthy and satisfying. I relaxed in the lobby facing the courtyard while enjoying complimentary coffee and herb-infused water. There was a good selection of teas, but it would be appreciated if herbal teas such as chamomile could be blended as well. If I have the opportunity, I would love to stay again.

    We were very satisfied.

    Thank you very much for your hospitality. I stayed with my elderly mother, and even she—who is very particular about Hotels—seemed to love it. The Onsen, pool, meals, and everything else were wonderful. It’s a Hotel we would love to visit again. We hope to stay with you again.

    What a surprise—it was a Harvest Club.

    I used to stay at Harvest Club often, but I haven’t used it much recently. I had made a Reservation thinking this was a Hotel called “nol hakone myojindai,” so I never expected it to be part of the Harvest Club group. When we arrived, the Harvest name was there and I thought, “Oh—really?” I heard the tennis courts that used to be here are gone, and it’s now a farm area and a dog run. This time we chose a Room with an open-air bath, but it was pouring rain and hard to use—though that’s not the Hotel’s fault. At night my husband filled the bath, but even with only hot water running, the temperature wouldn’t rise; even he (who likes lukewarm baths) said it was too cold. The next day we tried again and it reached about 40°C properly. Not sure what happened. The Room is easy to use overall. However, it’s slightly inconvenient that you have to fill your own kettle with water and bring it back yourself. There is a free drink corner on the first floor where you can take tea or coffee back to your Room, and kettles are provided for that purpose. Still, I would have been happier if coffee and tea were provided in the Room. There were no welcome sweets. The tea selection at the free drink corner is extensive; they also had Calpis and strawberry jam for Russian tea. It would have been perfect if they offered small cakes or similar items as well, but unfortunately there were no sweets at all—just a corner for tea and coffee only. We were told we could go to the restaurant in loungewear, but these clothes were in poor condition: the elastic waistband was completely stretched out and would slip down unless tied with the string. It felt too sloppy to walk around inside the building at all. Do they check their condition regularly? I’d prefer something more comfortable to wear pleasantly. Only two towels of each type are provided in the Room as well, so if you wash your hands and dry them, you may not have enough left for the next morning. Dinner was Italian and very good. One tall male staff member (possibly not Japanese?) spoke so quietly that we couldn’t hear any of his explanations about the dishes at all; there was no issue with female staff members’ service. For breakfast, I ate a whole bowl of their recommended vegetable salad and then couldn’t eat anything else—which was disappointing on my part as well as theirs perhaps! If the weather had been better, I would have liked to walk around in the renovated garden, but this time we couldn’t go outside at all due to rainy conditions during our stay . Since it’s located on higher ground , there are mountain views , lots of greenery , making this place very nice overall .

    This was my second v...

    This was my second visit, and once again the heated pool and mist sauna were excellent. Last time, some guests were taking photos even though photography is not allowed in the pool area, which bothered me, but this time everything was comfortable with no such issues. The food looked beautiful and the vegetables were delicious. However, the spacing between table seats felt a bit tight. Overall it was a very good stay, but since checkout at 11:00 gets extremely crowded, I think it would be even better if there were ways to spread out the timing—such as introducing Diamond benefits or offering pre-checkout options. I waited at the lounge counter after being told “We will assist you in order,” but it seemed I was forgotten and it ended up taking over 40 minutes. It wasn’t a problem as I had no particular plans, and they called soon after to apologize, so I felt they were being considerate in various ways.

    This was my first stay in a while since the renovation. The service was good, and the drink corner was well stocked; it also felt like the clientele has improved compared to before. One thing that concerned me was the cleaning. There were cigarette butts in the courtyard and parking lot. There was mold inside the water tank of the Room air purifier, and on the basket where small towels are placed in the bathroom. Someone who seemed to be the manager makes rounds, but is it only a surface-level check? I’m sharing this as a comparison with other Hotel properties because I’d like to see further improvements. Thank you.

    It was a wonderful Hotel.

    To celebrate my retirement after many years of work, I stayed at this Hotel that I had been interested in for some time. The hospitality of all the staff was excellent, and we also loved the nearby vegetable-focused dinner and breakfast, the complimentary drinks, and the open, airy feel of the lobby. My wife was very satisfied as well. We would definitely like to stay again.

    The Room, lobby, poo...

    The Room, lobby, pool, and other facilities were well equipped, and the overall atmosphere was nice. Because the property feels smaller than it looks in reality, it was less glamorous than in the photos. However, there were fewer guests, so it was quiet and easy to relax. I chose a Japanese-style Room with an indoor bath, which made it very comfortable to unwind. As other Reviews have mentioned, the pool temperature felt a bit low. What was most disappointing was dinner. Overall it was very delicious, but I had made my Reservation well in advance and requested gluten-free and allergy accommodations at that time. Even though I also discussed this by phone, the side bread (made with wheat flour) was simply removed with no substitute such as rice-flour bread. Also, instead of offering gluten-free pasta for the pasta course item, they replaced it with soup. As a result, the course ended up feeling like salad + soup + two fish dishes—there were no carbohydrates at all—so I didn’t feel full. When I asked if rice was available, I was told they didn’t have any... They did accommodate gluten-free needs and other allergens on the menu itself, but I wasn’t sure about changes that clearly reduce both portion size and satisfaction. I really would have liked rice-flour bread or rice as an alternative. In the end, I had no choice but to go eat again at a nearby restaurant. Compared with breakfast buffets at other Hotels—and given that international guests visit these days—I felt it would be better to have more gluten-free options. The restaurant staff were very pleasant!

    A Hotel Where Adults Can Spend Time to Recharge and Reset

    A Hotel nestled in the quiet forests of Hakone. I stayed here with my dogs. This is a small, hideaway-like Hotel where you can step away from the crowds and take time to reset as an adult. A gentle stillness filled the property, and I truly enjoyed a calm, relaxing stay. Every staff member we met was friendly yet professional, and we felt comfortable throughout our visit. When I requested a change of loungewear, the manager personally came to apologize the next morning, which showed that even small matters are properly shared with senior staff. Their sincerity made me feel this Hotel will continue to grow into something even better. The Italian dinner far exceeded my expectations. The quality rivaled restaurants around Roppongi and Azabu, and it felt fully comparable to top-tier restaurants and luxury Hotels in Tokyo or Osaka. The vegetables from their own garden were especially memorable—fresh and vibrant, with each ingredient’s flavor coming through clearly. The 24-hour drink bar (including tea), available via dedicated bottles provided in the guest room, was also high quality and further enhanced our stay. The building is a renovated former Tokyu Harvest Club Hakone Myojindai property, so not everything is brand-new; however, the bold design blends beautifully with retro touches preserved throughout. Unlike many uniform newly built Hotels these days, it was a space that felt naturally soothing. The cleanliness was impeccable in every corner of the property, which also left a strong impression of their genuine commitment. I was also surprised by how considerate the other guests were. There were many international visitors who seemed experienced travelers with a polished demeanor, and Japanese guests were exceptionally well-mannered as well—leaving the Onsen washing area and powder room neatly arranged when they left was particularly impressive. I have stayed at many nearby Onsen Accommodations over the years, but this is the first time I’ve encountered a Hotel with such consistently good guest etiquette. In addition to the Onsen baths, even the pool is an Onsen pool—perfect for unwinding at your own pace. It may be livelier during school holiday periods for children; if possible, visiting on weekdays in the off-season will let you experience this Accommodation’s quiet charm more deeply. The dog-friendly room was very clean and well maintained; however, it is somewhat compact, so a bit more space would make it even more comfortable. Also, having an open-air bath in the room would make it even more appealing. I’ll be back again in autumn!

    Relax and unwind at your own pace.

    We stayed for a two-night, three-day trip. Having a private open-air bath in the Room that we could use anytime was truly appreciated. During our stay, it rained heavily all day and we couldn’t go anywhere, so we spent the day inside the Hotel, but thanks to the open-air bath in the Room, we were able to relax and take it easy all day. The drink service in the lobby and the warm hospitality of all the staff also made our stay extremely comfortable. The amenities in the guest Room were well thought out and stylish, but the toilet and shower booth were a bit inconvenient to use. It was also disappointing that the sink faucet extends far out and is fixed in place, making it hard to move; it was very difficult to use when washing my face. Other than that, I think this is a Hotel with a very high level of satisfaction.

    Although it was a newly renovated Hotel, the interior was very clean and the atmosphere was relaxing. Dinner was generous in portion, and each dish was carefully prepared. The Room was spacious, the air conditioning worked well, and we fully enjoyed the open-air bath. The only downside was that our Room was far from the main building, so going back and forth to the restaurant and drink bar was a bit inconvenient. I was also disappointed that there were no swimsuit rentals at the thermal pool, so I couldn’t use it. Other than that, we were extremely satisfied. Thank you very much.

    Dinner was delicious Western-style cuisine, and as the view outside the window gradually turned into a nightscape, I was very satisfied. I would have appreciated it if amenities had been provided in the Room, since I mainly spent my time using the bath in the Room. Although photography at the pool was prohibited, some guests were taking selfies, which made me feel uncomfortable.

    All the meals were delicious! The service was polite, friendly, and truly wonderful! Since the in-Room shower and the open-air bath are separated, it was a little inconvenient, so I’m giving 4 stars. Having a few extra towels would also be helpful when using the bath in the Room. It would be great to have some juice options in the lounge for guests who don’t like coffee or tea.

    I feel refreshed.

    This was my fourth visit. The Shuttle Service driver on the way there was friendly and shared lots of interesting stories, which really got me into the travel mood from the start (it was my first time experiencing this, and I thought it was wonderful). This time, I stayed in a Room with a rock bath for the first time, and it was very comfortable since I could use it anytime without needing to fill it. Also, breakfast used to offer two choices, but since I had already tried both before, I was happy to see it had changed to a buffet this time. The salad was not only fresh and delicious, but also fun with various toppings, and I enjoyed all the other dishes as well. I would be glad if the menu could be updated regularly. Dinner felt even better than before. The sauce combinations were enjoyable and everything was delicious—I think it would be worth visiting just for dinner alone. All of the staff were kind and worked hard to assist us, and I truly appreciate it. I would love to visit again for a refreshing getaway.

    The meals are outstanding.

    This was my third stay. Every time, it feels like the dining options are still being fine-tuned—such as the dinner appetizer & salad buffet being discontinued, set-course choices no longer available, and breakfast switching to a buffet style—but the seasoning is always excellent and I truly enjoy the food. There are plenty of fresh vegetables, and I especially love the breakfast smoothies, pudding, and homemade jam. Also, the renovated Room is stylish and very comfortable. The open-air bath in the Room feels wonderful, though it’s a bit inconvenient that it isn’t adjacent to the shower booth. It’s also a shame that the cold bath in the large public bath isn’t located next to the sauna—but I suppose that can’t be helped. What disappointed me most this time, however, was that the lounge drinks had been significantly downgraded. It’s now a self-serve free-drink setup using the tumbler provided in your Room. Previously there were syrups that tasted great mixed with sparkling water and things like yuzu jam, but this time there were completely unappealing syrups (to an almost spiteful degree) and an oddly chosen concentrated Calpis base—it was very disappointing. The detox water also seemed to be diluted over time; as more water was added (or so it seemed), it gradually lost flavor and by night it no longer tasted good. Since take-home tumblers seem to be well received, I hope you can enhance what’s offered for free drinks a bit more. If that improves, this Accommodation would feel like an even better value for money—I can refresh myself with delicious meals—and I’d definitely want to return.

    Adults-only Hotel

    This time, I was able to stay at a great price by using 40% of my points, so I booked one night in a Deluxe Twin with an open-air bath. The Room was spacious and tastefully decorated, making it very comfortable. The open-air bath was large enough for two people, and the Onsen filled automatically at a perfect temperature, which was wonderful. The Italian course dinner was delicious across the board, and breakfast—featuring fresh vegetables from their own garden along with homemade smoothies and minestrone—was truly excellent. All Hotel staff were very pleasant, and I had a comfortable stay from check-in to check-out. The Shuttle Service driver was especially friendly, sharing various stories during the ride and providing great service. This has become one of the Hotels I would like to stay at again if I have the chance. It’s less of a family-oriented Hotel and more a place where adults can truly relax.

    The Onsen pool was wonderful. I thought it might be an Accommodation mainly for adults, but they also had kendama and jump ropes, so the kids could play without getting bored. We also really enjoyed the lounge and breakfast; everything was delicious. If I had to suggest improvements, it would be nice to have some kids’ juice available among the lounge drinks. Also, the coffee at breakfast tasted better from the same machine used at lunch. We would love to stay again.

    A comfortable and stylish space

    It was my first visit. The beautifully renovated Hotel interior was clean and provided a comfortable atmosphere everywhere. The Room was spacious, and the bathroom facilities were easy to use. I particularly enjoyed the generously sized tub bath, which exceeded my expectations. The lobby offered a perfect balance of an urban vibe and scenic natural views, creating a soothing experience. Dinner featured an innovative fusion of Italian cuisine with Japanese elements, which felt unique and tasted delicious. The organic farm vegetables were especially delightful, with every bite being flavorful. The pool matched the images—clean with pleasantly warm water that made swimming enjoyable. However, the public bath was slightly small, which is why I deducted one star. The staff's hospitality during meals and throughout the floors was excellent. It turned out to be a rejuvenating two-day stay that recharged my energy. Thank you very much!

    This was my second stay! I generally like this accommodation as it has a pool and is child-friendly, but all the staff at the breakfast venue were foreigners... Some staff members struggled with Japanese and couldn't answer our questions, which was surprising. We are traveling to the Onsen area of Hakone Gora in Japan, not abroad. Please ensure there are staff proficient in Japanese for better service. It was quite unpleasant.
