    The service was very careless.

    Although the directions by public transportation were posted on the Hotel website, when I called in advance to ask about them, I was told it would be difficult without knowing the area. When I tried to ask further, they seemed annoyed, which gave me a bad feeling—and it turned out to be right. After arriving, there was no staff guiding guests in the 1F lobby. When I went to what looked like the front desk, I was told that check-in is done in the lounge. Even though I had quite a lot of luggage, there was no sign of consideration; they got into the elevator with me and even tried to hand me my Room key while both my hands were full. Also, unless you mention it yourself, they neither explain nor provide IKYU Diamond member benefits—so please be aware. The sofa in the Room smelled strongly—possibly like someone’s sweat—and no matter how much deodorizer I used, the odor would not go away. I also mistakenly thought breakfast was on 1F and tried to ask at the front desk, but no one was there. I called using the phone that had been left out, but no one answered no matter how long I waited, so I checked online on my smartphone instead. The only good point was that you are allowed to bring lounge food and drinks back to your Room. There are many Hotels in Nagasaki with better locations that are newer and cleaner and offer better service, so I don’t think this place is worth going out of your way for from central Nagasaki. It seems to be part of the same group as Garden Terrace; having experienced excellent service there before made this all the more disappointing.

    A place where you can escape the everyday and completely Clear your mind and body.

    This time, I stayed on the 60-minute Aroma Massage Plan, and it was wonderful! Surrounded by a soothing fragrance and treated with such attentive care, I could truly feel the therapist’s professional skill—my mind and body gradually became lighter and lighter. It was a blissful moment where all my everyday fatigue seemed to melt away at once. The service throughout the Hotel was also excellent. In the lounge, you can enjoy a relaxed, luxurious time with a drink in hand in a refined and calming space. One of my highlights—the meals—was outstanding as well. With every bite, you could taste the quality of the ingredients, and everything looked beautiful too. In every way, the hospitality exceeded my expectations, making this an exceptional Hotel stay that I would absolutely love to return to again.

    It was excellent.

    The Room, service, lounge, and breakfast were all excellent. We must have gotten a great rate, but it was so much better than the price that we even double-checked our Reservation.

    A place you’ll want to come back to again and again

    We stayed for one night and two days. It was a very comfortable space, and we were able to enjoy an extraordinary, out-of-the-ordinary experience. We would definitely like to stay again!

    Private sauna, clean Room

    What I liked - A clean, beautiful, and spacious Room exactly as shown in the photos - The sauna was private because no one else used it during my stay - Excellent Diamond member benefits - A wide variety in the lounge; plenty of drinks to choose from What concerned me - The dinner course I asked about in advance was mistakenly booked as a lower-tier course (Fortunately, I noticed before the meal started and they corrected it.) - Past Reviews said swimsuits and sauna wear were provided in the Room, but they were actually available only for a fee (Swimsuit / gym jersey / gym shoes: 1,100 yen each) While the building overall shows its age, the Hotel areas felt renovated and were clean and comfortable. Overall, I was satisfied.

    Anniversary Trip

    I can’t find any words other than “satisfied.” This was our first visit to Nagasaki to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary. The Facility, the Room amenities and cleanliness, and the staff’s service were all excellent—we were very satisfied. It became a wonderful memory. Thank you very much.

    I’d like to stay for a Multiple Night Stay.

    Because we had golf planned for the next day, we couldn’t stay and relax as much as we would have liked, but if we have the chance, we’d like to book a Multiple Night Stay. We were satisfied with the clean Room. Thank you.

    Relax in a wonderful Room

    Check-in was smooth with a warm smile, and the Room was wonderful and very relaxing. Breakfast service was also attentive, delicious, and filling. Since my wife and I both enjoyed it so much, we would like to add dinner next time and book a Multiple Night Stay.

    Use the Junior Suite.

    I made a Reservation because I was going to see the Lantern Festival and it looked like a nice place. The parking lot is a bit hard to find, but the Room and the facilities were clean overall, so I was satisfied! The cookies provided were on the firm side—just how I like them—and I ended up eating a lot. The amenities were also plentiful, and the bath towels and bathrobe were very thick, which was great. I brought my own bath salts, so I didn’t check what was available. There isn’t a convenience store within an easy walk, but next time I stay here, I’d like to try the meals as well.

    I will come again.

    I booked a Corner Suite with breakfast included and separately reserved French dining at the hotel for dinner. The day before, I stayed at Garden Terrace Nagasaki, but honestly, this accommodation provided a more exceptional experience overall. While the night view may not surpass Garden Terrace, everything else here was outstanding. I didn't plan any sightseeing and stayed in the hotel from check-in to check-out. First, I parked my car in front of the entrance. There were no designated parking lines, so I wasn't sure if it was okay to park there, but seeing others do so, I followed suit. The entrance faces a large intersection which might make entering or exiting slightly challenging depending on traffic conditions. At the 1st-floor reception desk, I informed them of my stay and was guided to the 4th-floor lounge where all procedures were completed smoothly. The lounge was excellent—cozy table seats resembling private rooms made it very comfortable. Additionally, being able to take drinks and snacks from the lounge back to your room is a policy I'd love to see continued; it allowed me to enjoy them while watching TV in my room. My companion enjoyed using both the sauna and gym facilities; they mentioned that the sauna was particularly fantastic—I plan on trying it myself during my next visit. Dinner at their French restaurant featured smaller portion sizes for courses which suited me as someone with a small appetite—a delightful point! For those who need more food options beyond courses offered à la carte are available for additional orders too; everything tasted exquisite. The room itself felt spacious with an elegant atmosphere exuding luxury throughout its design elements like stylish tableware & thoughtfully curated coffee equipment leaving positive impressions behind alongside complimentary rental swimwear/training wear adding convenience value further enhancing experiences here though having bath bombs provided within rooms matching such high-grade accommodations would've been appreciated despite availability via purchase confirmed instead elsewhere noticed meanwhile subtle touches such as Nagasaki tourism pamphlets placed atop desks added charm quietly yet effectively nonetheless appreciated still overall positively impactful details noted fondly alike! Breakfast consisted soup paired choice between rice/bread/noodles salads desserts multiple side dishes limited one per person respectively satisfying lighter eaters myself included whereas companions seemed less fulfilled quantity-wise comparatively speaking however ultimately shared sentiments regarding wonderful stays together expressing desires returning future occasions ahead fondly remembered cherished moments spent mutually agreed upon undoubtedly reaffirmed lasting impressions left behind firmly established enduring memories created treasured forevermore!

    There were some concerns, such as difficulty with hot water and Wi-Fi only connecting in the neighboring room, but the meals, room, and amenities were excellent.

    Unfortunately

    I stayed for one night again this year, expecting the same experience as last year, but was shocked by the disappointing changes. The only good thing was the Room. The food was especially surprising. Before even considering the taste, everything was overwhelmingly salty. The pasta consisted of six pieces of salty penne in cream sauce on a plate—it resembled pet food and was something I had never seen before. My friend commented that "the bread is good," but eating it with pale wax-like margarine made it unappetizing. Although I received notice about a breakfast renewal, it turned out to be terrible. I understand rising costs and labor expenses are challenging, but if that's the case, raising prices without compromising quality would have been better—guests will come if there’s value in what you offer. The jacuzzi is completely visible from several adjacent apartment balconies, making it unusable for me. The plants were neglected and withered—a dismal sight overall. Arriving 30 minutes early due to my circumstances, I saw staff present but they didn’t even greet me; this left me disappointed as well. It felt like a complete waste of money this time around—especially since last year’s experience was so good—which makes it all the more regrettable. I will never return again.

    For your first trip to Nagasaki, choose our accommodation.

    3-night Multiple Night Stay. Initially, I didn't know check-in was on the 4th floor. No explanation for check-out either, so I had to go from the 1st floor to the 4th floor twice. The breakfast system seems to have changed and is confusing. Moreover, there are fewer options available. Staff smiles are rare. Even when passing in hallways or the lobby, they ignore guests. Phone responses lack a friendly tone as well. The jacuzzi was empty and inconveniently requires prior Reservation. The Room's air conditioning noise is loud. The location is inconvenient compared to downtown areas, with no shuttle bus service available. On a positive note: Room cleaning was thorough and tailored to guest needs—very impressive. These are my suggestions for improvement. I am willing to stay again next time with hopes that improvements will be made!

    The Room matches the actual photos and offers a luxurious space. I chose the Japanese-style breakfast, which included homemade tofu and dishes served from a wooden box; both the presentation and taste were exceptional.

    Enjoyed the sauna to the fullest.

    The lounge offers a limited selection, but with fewer rooms and a spacious area, it never feels crowded. Sportswear, swimsuits, and even sauna hats are provided in the room—an excellent service. I used the sauna three times (evening, night, and morning), and it was like having it all to myself. The cold bath had adjustable temperatures, towels were unlimited, and drinking water was available—an incredibly enjoyable experience. With fewer rooms and no Onsen available, there seem to be fewer guests overall; however, it's highly recommended for sauna enthusiasts. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious. The only downside was that the dinner course service felt rushed due to the private setting. The bed firmness suited my preference perfectly; linens and bedding were comfortable as well. I could relax in a spacious, clean room with ease.

    The lounge is beautiful.

    I had been wanting to stay here for a long time, and my wish finally came true. Although it is far from the center of Nagasaki and not very convenient in terms of transportation, I was able to fully enjoy the hotel life. The lounge is designed to ensure privacy for each group, allowing us to relax without worrying about others. I tried the Tornado Beer mentioned in other reviews, and it was an interesting first-time experience. The lounge also offers a selection of sake, including Daiginjo, which is perfect for sake lovers. However, I felt that the snacks were mostly dry items and a bit lacking; adding cheese or salami would make the lounge feel even more luxurious. The room amenities, hospitality, and service were all excellent. Since we mentioned that this was our 45th wedding anniversary during our stay, we were touched to find a bouquet in our room upon arrival. We also chose a plan with an anniversary photo included; at checkout, we received a beautifully cased photo with a heartfelt message attached. This thoughtful gesture made it extra special as it was unlike any other photo services we've experienced before. Thanks to such attentive service at this wonderful accommodation, I am already considering staying here again for future occasions!

    Unable to fully enjoy the benefits of a Multiple Night Stay.

    There are two types of saunas, a lounge with various seating options such as sofas and low tables for relaxation, massage chairs, a gym, and the rooms are equipped with Refa beauty devices and wear for sauna and gym use. Due to the limited number of guest rooms, I was able to enjoy these amenities at leisure without encountering many other guests. The services were available from 7:00 to 23:00, so I planned to enjoy the sauna during the day while staying multiple nights or work on my PC in the lounge. However, when I tried to have tea in the lounge on the second day at noon, I was informed that services like saunas and lounges were unavailable from 11:00 to 15:00. Thinking I might have missed this information somewhere, I returned to my room but couldn't find any mention of it even after rechecking the tablet provided at check-in which listed hotel services. While there may not be many guests like us who use it this way, there are some who do; therefore, it would be helpful if this information is noted somewhere.

    All-inclusive Hotel Resort

    I was a bit unsure about staying in Akasako, which is not a tourist area in Nagasaki, but I was able to enjoy an extraordinary experience and relax. The room was spacious, and the drinks in the room were plentiful. I also enjoyed the lounge at a leisurely pace. I used the sauna the day after my stay, and I was able to relax without encountering other guests. Dinner was at an old-looking Western restaurant on the first floor. The breakfast the next day was at a new facility on the fourth floor, which I thought was better. The meals on the first floor were disappointing for Nagasaki, as all the fish dishes were fried. The beef was overcooked and lacked flavor. The first floor was a bit cold. The food was served quickly. The Japanese breakfast the next day included freshly made tofu, which was delicious. There was no doorman, so the parking lot was hard to find. The man who guided us upon arrival put the luggage in the elevator first, and the guests got on later, which I found curious. However, the woman who guided us afterward let us, the guests, get on first. Overall, it was satisfactory, but I feel it could be even better.

    A hotel where you can enjoy a private retreat stay.

    Nagasaki can mostly be navigated by tram, but the Hotel is located on the outskirts of the city, requiring travel by bus or car. The Hotel feels like part of a wedding venue, with Room suites that are spacious, very clean, and relaxing, and the bathrooms are nice. Amenities and Room wear are of high quality and well-prepared, leaving nothing to be desired. In the check-in lounge, you can freely enjoy alcohol, various drinks, snacks, and more. The Room's refrigerator was also free. It was fun to try various beauty devices from ReFa. Unfortunately, there is a sauna but no large public bath, and the terrace jacuzzi was very cold. There was also the inconvenience of having to wear swimwear in the Room due to the lack of a changing room. The meals were neither good nor bad, feeling like wedding venue cuisine, and while the lounge and Room alcohol were free, drinks during meals were expensive. (laughs)

    Hotel with the latest facilities

    The Room was equipped with a full set of ReFa products, allowing guests to try them out. The massage machine was also a robot. For sauna enthusiasts, there is a jacuzzi, making it an enjoyable Hotel. The taste of the food was good, but considering the price, the number of dishes was limited, so it would have been better if there were more variety to enjoy both visually and in terms of quantity.

    Proposal!

    We used the Hotel for a birthday celebration and a proposal. From the planning stage, Mr. Yamakawa and the staff were very attentive, and we are truly grateful. Not only were the dinner and breakfast excellent, but the Room, Facility, and amenities were also wonderful, making it a truly memorable proposal and trip! It was undoubtedly No. 1 among all the Hotels we've stayed at! We definitely want to use it again. Thank you very much!

    The meal was so disa...

    The meal was so disappointing that it seemed like it was just reheated retort food, with neither a good smell nor freshness. Breakfast was served at a cold seat near a dark and narrow entrance, and although I mentioned the cold wind, there was no response other than acknowledgment. It seemed like the staff, possibly part-timers, couldn't do anything beyond their set tasks. It was a Japanese meal, but I wished they would at least ask if I wanted more tea. However, I lost the desire to even say anything. Additionally, a concierge staff member recommended making a reservation for the airport bus, but upon checking, it turned out it wasn't reservation-based. It took quite a bit of time, which was disappointing. On the way back, there were three staff members on the first floor, but none greeted us. The garden spa was surrounded by apartments, unlike the photos. The lounge was different from a regular hotel club lounge, lacking comfort and quality, so I ended up just watching TV in the room, feeling no different from being at home.

    I was able to relax ...

    I was able to relax in a Room with a sauna and jacuzzi bath. I enjoyed having free access to the gym and massage room. In the lobby, which features lovely sofas, I could enjoy all-inclusive drinks like wine and sake, along with snacks, allowing me to relax and chat outside of the Room as well. The Hotel was charming in appearance. Thank you for the hospitality.

    It was the best Hotel...

    The facility is well-equipped, clean, and perfectly maintained. Although there is no large public bath, the bathroom in the room (it was a junior suite) is more than sufficient, with a sauna and the option to reserve a jacuzzi, leaving nothing to be desired. You can also use ReFa products freely. The staff were kind and made it a great trip. However, the breakfast was ordinary, and since there is not always someone at the front desk, it felt a bit awkward when leaving. It seems you can serve yourself tofu, but there was no explanation on the first day, and there was no explanation about the dessert after the meal, so we left before it was served... Since there weren't many people around, maybe we should have approached them... We had dinner in Nagasaki's Chinatown, so I'm not sure about that, but you can enjoy breakfast in various places around Nagasaki Station, so No Meals Included might be a good option... but it was delicious. Access from Nagasaki Station is by tram or bus, but since it's a bit of a walk from the last tram stop, I recommend taking the bus. Also, for check-in and check-out, they provide a shuttle service to Nagasaki Station, and they can send your suitcase by cash on delivery, which is appreciated.

    Enjoyed an exquisite Hotel life.

    My first trip to Nagasaki accompanying my husband! I happened to find this hotel on IKYU. I was worried because I had no sense of the area, but I was relieved to find there was a Shuttle Service to the station. It was a more relaxing space than I imagined. The staff were courteous, and the drinks in the lounge were excellent! I was surprised by the draft beer. The Room was spacious and clean, and you could use "ReFa" products as much as you wanted! The meals were made with fresh ingredients and were very filling. I relaxed in the massage chair and was soothed by the outdoor jacuzzi under the starry sky. A hotel that fulfills all the wishes of women! The security was solid, and I felt safe during my stay, making my Nagasaki trip the best! Thank you to everyone at the Hotel.

    There were so many things I wanted to do, but I didn't have enough time.

    Beauty, relaxation, refreshment, and service were all satisfying. I didn't have enough time, so next time, I plan to make it a Multiple Night Stay. The Room was so comfortable, it felt just like my own. The breakfast was healthy, and the homemade tofu was very delicious. I live in Nagasaki City, but I think it's the best for stress relief, and I definitely want to visit again. Thank you very much.

    No complaints

    October 24th, stayed one night in the Corner Suite Wa-Modern (ReFa Room) with a close friend. After the stay confirmation, the bellboy (a woman at this time) guided us through the facilities and dining areas before arriving at the room. The interior of the elevator was elegantly decorated with an oval mirror, raising expectations for the hotel. The entrance to the accommodation floor is opened and closed with the room's key card, ensuring privacy. The room entrance has a thick soundproof door, and the doors to the toilet and water areas are also designed to minimize noise leakage. The water area's door, in particular, is equipped with an auto-closer, showing thorough consideration for noise. The cleaning was perfect down to the smallest detail, leaving no room for complaint, and it was very pleasant. Perhaps as proof of perfect cleaning, the AirDog's number was in single digits. The bed was a semi-double with just the right firmness, and there were two types of pillows available, which was appreciated. My friend was amazed at the stylish amenities drawer. The display of usable glassware showed the hotel's unique attention to detail. The all-inclusive refrigerator's drinks were impressive, but the lounge was even more so. Various soft drinks, wine, beer servers, and even daiginjo were available. Snacks and sweets were equally abundant. Among them, the cartridge-type soft serve ice cream machine was a first! I tried it immediately, and in addition to the fun of serving the ice cream myself, it was very delicious and a rare experience. In the room, my friend was delighted with the unlimited use of various ReFa products. The showerhead was also ReFa, which was impressive. The bathtub filled quickly with a large amount of water. Stretching out and lying down made the body float in a weightless state, fully relaxing! Dinner was a casual French course. Taste, appearance, temperature, quantity, and serving timing were all perfect. We were very satisfied with the freshly prepared dishes. Breakfast was also perfect. The homemade tofu was delicious. Although we didn't use it this time, there is an outdoor jacuzzi and sauna, a small indoor gym, and a recovery room with a luxury massage machine for meditation. Necessary items like swimsuits are in the room's closet, so I plan to use them next time. The professional work of all the hotel staff makes me want to come to Nagasaki at least once a year just for a multiple night stay at the hotel. Thank you very much.     The Room is new, wit...

    The Room is new, with perfect facilities and amenities. Cleaning is well-maintained. However, the location is inconvenient as it is far from tourist spots and the station, and the meals were disappointing.
