    A comfortable accommodation.

    A wonderful accommodation with a sense of cleanliness and hospitality. The dinner was very delicious, and it was clear that seasonal ingredients were carefully prepared. Breakfast was just to my liking in both quantity and taste, with perfectly cooked rice that left me fully satisfied. This accommodation offers excellent balance in many aspects. I would definitely like to stay here again.

    It was a relaxing and rejuvenating trip.

    The service provided by the friendly and lovely staff made my stay very pleasant. Thank you. It was partly my oversight for not checking the facility details in advance, but since there were only stairs, moving between the room on the second floor and the onsen in the basement was challenging. As I had a knee issue at that time, I gave up after using the bath once. Additionally, walking around inside with socks and slippers provided was slippery and difficult, especially for someone like me with foot problems. Using that set on stairs felt dangerous, so I switched to wearing my own sneakers midway through my stay. During check-in, a male staff member explained about items like ice cream, tea and snacks in the room, as well as drinks in the refrigerator one by one while saying they were part of "our hospitality." Personally, hearing "Please feel free to enjoy" would have sounded more natural than repeatedly emphasizing "hospitality." I apologize for pointing out such small details; however, this is such a wonderful accommodation that I hope these comments might be helpful in some way. Thank you again!

    A Perfectly Balanced Hideaway

    A cozy Ryokan with personalized service for each guest. The meals are just the right amount, and the staff's service is attentive. The view from the Onsen is excellent, making it a Property I would like to continue using as a hidden retreat.

    I visited for the first time.

    I made a reservation after reading the reviews on IKYU. It was a wonderful property, just as everyone said. The staff's hospitality and the cleanliness of the property and room were at the highest level among the properties I've stayed at so far. Especially the dinner, which was a unique Japanese course meal different from other properties, was very satisfying in terms of appearance, taste, and quantity. The shower in the large public bath was a bit weak, but the changing room, washing area, and bathtub were very clean, and the onsen had a very soft spring quality. I would like to visit again in a different season. To all the staff, it became a wonderful trip for my wife's birthday. Thank you very much.

    The design of the Room is...

    The scenery, food, service, and quality of the hot spring water were wonderful. The sea bream rice, made into rice balls at the end of the meal, was especially exquisite. There are two disappointing points. The first is the Room design, I suppose, but the floor was so uneven that I stumbled many times. I felt it would be better if the floor were flat. Also, the window side of the bed was at the foot, and it was disappointing to feel the chill. The second is the private bath. I was informed there was no washing area, but it was inconvenient that there was no washbasin or anything in the changing room. It was also disappointing that there was nothing available for hydration.

    The meals were delic...

    The meals were delicious. I have doubts about whether the facilities are worth the price. I thought a review of the room lighting, room bath facilities, and room amenities was necessary. As for the staff, there were some outstanding individuals, but I thought overall skill improvement was necessary.

    It's a favorite.

    A favorite Stays that makes you want to come again. I am very pleased with the local love that focuses on local products and the comfortable service of the staff. Everything, from the Room and meals to the simple yet elaborate design of the Property, was polished at "Kuroshio Sou". I will visit again next time.

    I used it for an anniversary trip. Not only was the room clean, but every staff member had a spirit of hospitality, allowing us to have a truly comfortable time. The food was especially exquisite, with a dinner full of delicious dishes and a breakfast that was simple yet profound, all of which we enjoyed. Since there are few rooms, the property was quiet, and I was able to relax and reflect on my thoughts while enjoying the scenery and the snacks and drinks provided in the room. There was no elevator, so it was necessary to use the stairs to move to the large public bath, but since I knew in advance, it was not a problem. If I have another opportunity, I would definitely like to stay again.

    The best Stays for a long and relaxing trip

    I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days in November. The weather was nice, and I had a relaxing time. The entire building reflects the dedication of Kuroshio So. The gentle touch of the wood and the calmness from the unified white theme were wonderful. I reserved a room on the second floor, which had a great view, and I woke up with the sunrise in the morning. There was also a sofa space, allowing me to relax with my friend. The room also had a shower. The bath wasn't particularly large, but since there were few rooms, it was never crowded. There was also a proper open-air bath. Additionally, the scent of the shampoo and body soap was very pleasant, showing attention to detail. And above all, the food! We enjoyed carefully prepared Japanese cuisine using local Wakayama ingredients. The course meal was just the right amount, not too much. For both days, we were served different dishes, allowing us to enjoy the flavors of autumn. Moreover, the view from the breakfast venue was the best! The mountains and sea were breathtaking. Shirahama was warm, close to the sea, and the perfect environment for relaxing. With just one night, it tends to be rushed, so it was the perfect place to enjoy a leisurely stroll around town and stay for two nights. The staff's service was very courteous, and I had a wonderful time. I will visit again for a refresh!

    Everything was perfect!!

    Everything was perfect!! I went after seeing the high ratings on IKYU, and it was a great decision!! The round trip from Haneda by plane is just under 30,000 yen. It takes only an hour. I want to go four times a year from now on!
