    Everything is perfect.

    It started snowing, allowing us to enjoy a breathtaking snowy view while soaking in the bath. As always, the meals were delicious. If I had to mention one thing, it would be that I wished for assistance with clearing snow off the car. I definitely want to visit for the fifth time!

    I had a relaxing time.

    The hospitality was very pleasant. We are deeply grateful for the thoughtful consideration of the staff, including the parking lot and Room arrangements, as we had a person with disabilities in our group. The tatami-matted interior was very easy to walk on, and the entire facility was warm and comfortable. Thank you very much. Everyone was surprised by the generous New Year's gift in the Room.

    Is this price really correct?

    I stayed before Christmas at a discounted rate and was surprised to find an even further discount after making the Reservation. Is it really okay at this price? I felt a bit guilty, but I appreciated it as a Christmas gift and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The meals included three small dishes that could be refilled, and they were delicious. Both dinner and breakfast were beautifully presented and tasted great. The Onsen had many varieties, and the private open-air bath was free to use with fresh foot mats provided, which was very thoughtful. If possible, could face towels also be prepared? The Room was clean, allowing for a comfortable stay. It truly felt like receiving a wonderful Christmas gift!

    Everything is perfect.

    I decided to stay at this accommodation after seeing it on social media and wanting to visit at least once. Everything was simply perfect. From the shuttle service from the parking lot to the main building, the cable car waiting area, and then from the main building to the room... The entire facility being covered in tatami gave a unique sense of relaxation, making it an ideal place to unwind from daily stress. The large public bath, private baths, and even the open-air bath in my room were wonderful; however, since I visited during winter, I couldn't muster up the courage to use them—what a shame! While enjoying everything inside this accommodation, I ended up skipping their famous "Yonaki Soba" as well. I left with a firm resolution to return next time during autumn or earlier! (laughs)

    The hotel is excellent.

    The hotel facilities are excellent and very clean. The concierge staff are polite and professional. However, the restaurant staff's service could be improved as they seemed undertrained. Overall, it was a good experience.

    It was a brief yet delightful stay.

    This was my first visit. From the moment I arrived at the slope car waiting room to my departure the next day, I had a pleasant and relaxing time. Upon arrival, my suitcase casters were cleaned, and I left my shoes behind, feeling a sense of freedom from the ground up. A coffee mill was available for rent, allowing me to enjoy freshly ground coffee in my Room while taking leisurely baths. The pillow rental service was also great. Additionally, I could use both the large public bath and private baths while enjoying the late autumn foliage. The meals were delicious as well. If I may suggest improvements: perhaps reducing the portion size of dessert at dinner and considering an alternative serving method for miso soup at breakfast instead of using a pot. I would love to visit again if given another opportunity!

    It was excellent. The meals were very delicious. The sashimi was very tasty, and the Tochigi Wagyu beef and vegetables were incredibly fresh. The staff were all kind and left a great impression. Additionally, since the accommodation is located in a valley with snowfall, the atmosphere was wonderful. The courtyard was also illuminated, creating a magical scenery. Next time, I would like to stay in a detached room.

    After golf,

    I stayed at this accommodation for the first time to relax in Nasu after golfing. The facility was clean and well-maintained. The attention to detail in hospitality was truly outstanding! There were drinks, ice pops, and snacks for when you feel a bit hungry. Although I couldn't try it because my dinner was late, the "night soba noodles" looked delicious. The meals were tasty with an impressive variety of dishes! Also, the tatami-like flooring throughout the facility made it comfortable to walk barefoot. This is an accommodation I would love to visit again.

    We stayed at the accommodation to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were touched by the thoughtful message from the staff. The meals were excellent, the hospitality was outstanding, and we would love to stay again.

    It was excellent.

    I stayed with my mother and son during a break from my mother's battle with cancer. The Room had an open-air bath, and the Room was clean and spacious, allowing us to relax. The private bath and large public bath were also excellent. The meals were delicious and so plentiful that we couldn't finish them all. I would love to visit again if I have the chance. Thank you very much!

    The meal service was disappointing.

    The facilities, guest rooms, and amenities exceeded expectations. They were well-thought-out, luxurious, and satisfying. However, both dinner and breakfast were disappointing due to the poor timing of serving dishes and the unprofessional behavior of the staff. For instance, a young staff member mumbled phrases like "Here we go" while carrying dishes from the service station to the table and even commented, "It's hard because I'm tall." At one point, they asked if it was okay to serve rice together with another dish but ended up bringing it after I had already finished eating. The dessert was also served consecutively with a request to finish dining by 7:10 PM when it was already past 7 PM at that time. This prompted me to complain as such instructions should have been communicated earlier. Additionally, when ordering drinks at first using the call button during dinner service or requesting refills during breakfast as instructed via button presses multiple times—no one came over. Upon leaving, I reported that the button seemed broken but left feeling very dissatisfied overall. As a result—it became an unpleasant memory for us unfortunately!

    I'm full.

    It was my first time feeling so full from a Kaiseki meal. The taste was excellent. I thought I wouldn’t be able to try the late-night soba, but I couldn’t resist the curiosity of trying the yakisoba ramen. A unique flavor... Indeed, it felt like yakisoba and ramen combined...??? Before I knew it, I had finished it all despite its volume. In the morning, I warmed up with a delicious soy milk hot pot and enjoyed perfectly cooked grilled fish with thoughtful preparation—completely satisfying. Besides the wonderful Onsen, having plenty of towels prepared in the Room was a delightful touch. Overall, I was constantly full and happy throughout my stay. Thank you!

    Paying over 90,000 yen for two people is unacceptable. If it were 50,000 yen, I’d rate it 4 stars. First of all, the service was terrible. The parking guidance upon arrival was frustrating. Overall, the staff seemed like high school students in a club activity—far from professional service. Wearing masks is fine, but no one could understand what they were saying. There seems to be a manual in place, but it appears to be fundamentally flawed. The open-air bath had no cover and was full of stink bugs. The only way to get rid of debris and insects was to keep overflowing the water constantly. The public bath was good though, so I’ll give it 2 stars. The food was mediocre—lacked freshness and took too long to be served; plus the surroundings were too noisy. I’ve traveled across The whole country but this place is a rare disappointment after a long time. IKYU’s ratings are unreliable here!

    A Hotel You'll Want to Visit Again and Again

    This is my second stay at this accommodation. I love Kyoritsu Resort for its amazing free services, but this place stands out even more with its exceptional hospitality. I enjoy staying at different accommodations every month, but this is one I would want to revisit again and again. The staff always greet you warmly as you pass by, the facility is clean, and the onsen in the room is absolutely fantastic, making for a very pleasant stay. The late-night soba was interesting with both regular and soup yakisoba options. It tasted just like proper yakisoba but served as late-night soba—delicious and unique! Many of the staff are young yet well-trained and polite, while the senior staff exude professionalism, creating a great balance overall. I’ve stayed at both luxury accommodations and budget-friendly ones, but this place offers value that exceeds its price point. If you stay in the main building, parking is about 1.3 kilometers away with a shuttle service available (they’ll depart immediately even for just one group). However, my husband mentioned wanting to park closer to the entrance next time—so we’re considering staying in an annex room instead! (laughs)

    Lacks a sense of privacy.

    Park your car in a parking lot located 3 minutes away from the main building, then share a minivan with several families to reach the main building. At the front desk, more families and groups gather to check in according to their assigned numbers. The Room is clean and comfortable, but for dinner, several families get stuck at the entrance and are guided by number as if it were a family restaurant. The meals seem to be the same for everyone, lacking any sense of specialty. Check-out follows a similar process. For two people at 100,000 yen, only the cleanliness of the Room stands out as valuable. The "family restaurant" atmosphere of this Hotel lacked privacy or any sense of exclusivity.

    A wonderful accommodation as reputed

    I often use the accommodations of Kyoritsu Resort, and I was looking forward to staying at Rengegetsu as it has a great reputation. I stayed with friends, and everything from the welcome to the meals and the onsen public bath was very satisfying. However, when I tried to use the open-air bath in our room, the water stopped filling at about 10cm and we couldn't use it. Additionally, since there were four women in our group, we ran out of toilet paper in the room's restroom. Considering that women tend to use more than men, it would have been nice if there had been an extra roll prepared. As another suggestion, since rooms are limited to a maximum capacity of four people, having rooms for five guests would be appreciated.

    We fully enjoyed an extraordinary experience!

    This accommodation always strives to think about how to delight its guests. You can see thoughtful touches throughout the room, designed for convenience and ease of use. Staying at such a guest-focused accommodation made me very happy. Three days before my stay, I received a confirmation call from the accommodation, during which I mentioned that I was staying to celebrate a birthday. On the day of my arrival, I was deeply moved to find a message card and an origami peacock placed on the table in the room (I brought it home and have it displayed). Dinner exceeded my expectations; however, breakfast was slightly disappointing. I hope for further improvements in this area. I'm looking forward to seeing how much better things will be when I visit again next time!

    First-Time Accommodation

    I discovered an accommodation I had never visited before on IKYU and decided to try it for the first time! The detached room was truly quiet, allowing me to relax. The staff, mostly young, seemed enthusiastic and motivated. When I turned on the lights amidst the greenery and opened the windows, quite a few insects entered into the living room light—perhaps unavoidable in such a setting. It would have been more pleasant if the light covers were cleaned during room cleaning. The private bath in the room was comfortable and clean. I look forward to staying again!

    Beyond expectations

    Honestly, I thought Kyoritsu Resort was just an ordinary Hotel, but it was a series of wonderful surprises. The youthful staff, the luxurious meals, the quality of the hot spring in the Room's open-air bath, the tatami flooring throughout the facility, and the comfort of the beds—all were exceptional. I will definitely return.

    Since it was summer, it couldn't be helped, but the open-air bath in the Room had countless types of insects floating in it, so I decided not to use it... It might be enjoyable in winter.

    I stayed for one nig...

    I stayed for one night for the first time. I booked a deluxe twin room with a bath, and the quality of the hot spring was excellent, allowing me to relax completely. Due to the size of the accommodation, there was a long wait when boarding something like a trolley train to enter or exit the accommodation and before entering the dining area. Other than that, I was very satisfied. Thank you very much!

    To Another World

    When you park your car at the first parking lot, a shuttle bus promptly arrives to take you to the gondola station! Greeted by three staff members upon getting off the bus, you are guided to the gondola. Before you know it, you've arrived at the accommodation! The transfer was so smooth that suddenly you're at the front desk checking in! Our room was on the 4th floor. After passing through a door next to the front desk and walking down a tatami-lined hallway for a short distance, we reached our room in no time! Relaxing on a comfortable sofa for a moment, we then headed to the large public bath. The open-air bath offered stunning views, and enjoying an herbal bath made it even more special. Soon after, it was time for dinner. Every dish was exquisite and served seamlessly; before we knew it, two hours had passed while savoring each bite. At night, we reserved a private bath—it was spacious and absolutely wonderful. Early in the morning, we enjoyed another visit to the large public bath before having breakfast and relaxing in our private room bath one last time before checking out. Riding back on the gondola felt like returning from an extraordinary world back into reality—the fun had come to an end too soon. Everything about this stay was seamless and perfect; I couldn't find any faults during this incredible holiday experience. Thank you so much to all of your staff!

    Everyone was satisfied!

    I stayed at this accommodation about two and a half years ago, and since it was a great experience, this was my second stay. This time, I brought my sister-in-law who was experiencing Kyoritsu Resort for the first time, and everyone was satisfied. There were no particular complaints; however, if I had to mention something, it would be that it was a bit disappointing not being able to have ice cream after the morning bath.
