    I decided to stay this time because of the onsen with natural hot spring water. The temperature was just right, allowing me to soak leisurely and relieve my daily fatigue. It seemed that the staff were handling various tasks, and during meals, they appeared quite busy with serving and clearing, which made it a bit difficult to enjoy a relaxed meal, which was a little disappointing. The room seemed to have been renovated, as there were some signs of age, but it was kept clean. Although the room was right next to the bath, it was quiet, and I was able to spend my time peacefully.

I hope you can improve the issue with the room's bidet, and the fact that when turning off the main power, all the lights go out, making it impossible to turn on only the bathroom light when going to the bathroom at night. Also, I think it would be nice if the checkout time could be extended by an hour, or if there was such a Plan.

    New Year's Rates...

    The parking location is a bit far, and although I received a map, it's hard to understand as there are no signs. No welcome drink? You have to carry your luggage to the Room yourself, holding luggage in both hands along with a yukata feels inconvenient. There's no towel rack, so what do you do with the bath towel after a bath? There's no wardrobe, just a clothes hanger at the entrance, and because of the shoes, the door can only be opened halfway, requiring you to enter and exit sideways. It cost over 100,000 yen for two people, and although I mentioned it was to celebrate my wife's birthday, there was nothing special. I was looking forward to New Year's, but it was disappointing.

    We experienced a disappointing one-night stay.

    The clay pot rice is served before the ordered drinks. Sashimi that seems to have been plated at an unknown time. We enjoyed Showa-era banquet dishes both at night and in the morning. The hallway also had an unpleasant smell. If you're going to charge New Year's rates, at least provide the minimum hospitality... I don't think I would go even at weekday rates. It was a memorable New Year's stay.

    This time, we planned a trip to celebrate the 88th and 80th birthdays of an elderly couple, focusing on a leisurely trip. We enjoyed sightseeing and relaxed in the Room bath until mealtime after check-in. The Ryokan was barrier-free, making it convenient for the elderly couple to move around indoors. However, there were stairs leading to the dining room, which were a bit challenging for the elderly couple to climb up and down, so we hope for improvements in the future. Additionally, regarding the meal portions, they were slightly large for the elderly, and I thought that improving the quality over quantity might increase repeat visitors. Lastly, we are grateful for the staff's attention to the elderly couple, which allowed us to complete this celebratory trip.

    The Best Izu Trip

    Attracted by the "Onsen flowing directly from the source in the private open-air bath," I stayed in the Anniversary Suite with a friend. First, the interior of the Room, based on a modern Japanese style, was excellent! The amenities were all in a natural taste, and I was delighted that the shampoo and treatment in the shower room were ReFa. (Of course, the hairdryer too) Thanks to that, my hair was silky smooth! Having an Onsen in the Room is really nice. Moreover, it's flowing directly from the source. I took a bath once before dinner and once right after waking up in the morning. I actually wanted to take more! After getting out, my body stayed warm for a while, and I slept soundly at night. The meals exceeded expectations in taste and quantity!!! Shizuoka beef, eel, crab, sushi... everything was delicious, and I was so full I felt like I would burst. (I ate about three times my usual dinner amount) There was also a local sake tasting that matched the dishes perfectly, and I was very satisfied. Breakfast was sea bream chazuke! Along with arajiru and buffet-style side dishes. Despite having eaten so much dinner the day before, the luxurious breakfast was a delightful surprise. This time, the comfort of the Room (especially the sofa) was so good that I regret not being able to enjoy the footbath & marshmallows at the entrance and the BAR. It was a Property I wanted to stay at for two nights.

    Everything was great.

    The food was very delicious and I was very satisfied! The Room had an open-air bath, which allowed me to relax comfortably! Also, the young men who served us were all nice people, making it a heartwarming trip!
