    This was my first time staying here. The location was excellent, and it was convenient to access the club. It was also close to the Osaka Grand Sumo Tournament venue, and I was very satisfied with the shopping. I would like to stay here again.

    I’d been curious abo...

    I’d been curious about this Hotel for a long time, and I was excited even before my stay. The comfort, atmosphere, and meals were beyond my expectations—everything became a wonderful memory. Thanks to being allowed to stay until 3:00 PM, I was able to take my time catching up with a friend I hadn’t seen in a while. Thank you so much! I will definitely stay again!

    I was so impressed b...

    I was so impressed by the wonderful hospitality during my last stay that I decided to return. This time, I tried in-room dining for the first time and was amazed again to enjoy authentic Thai cuisine. Thank you very much for the upgrade as well! I’m already considering my next Reservation. I can’t wait to see what kind of memorable experience awaits me next time!

    Everything was great! I’m a huge fan—I love it so much that I go every year.

    I was surprised to see that the Hotel has become even nicer, with many services upgraded. It was truly wonderful. I visit every year, so I look forward to coming again. The only downside was that there was so much pollen in the Room that I couldn’t sleep (lol).

    I did not receive the Diamond member benefits.

    I stayed under a private sale, but the late check-out was the standard 12:00 and there was no Room upgrade. I understand this may depend on availability, but if no benefits can be provided at all, I believe the offer should be reconsidered. I also felt it was unhelpful that we were not clearly informed at check-in that the benefits could not be applied. On the positive side, the Room was clean and the breakfast was delicious.

    If you’re expecting a Thai vibe.

    This was my fourth or fifth stay at Centara Grand Hotel. The system seems to change every time I visit, but this time I enjoyed the most fulfilling weekend yet. First, I checked in on the 32nd floor and went straight into afternoon tea. With a Chang beer in hand, I enjoyed the sweets. In the evening, there was an even wider selection of alcohol and a much better variety of snacks, so I was satisfied enough that there was no need to go out for dinner and headed back to my Room. If you want classic Thai dishes like tom yum goong or pad thai, you can simply go to the 2nd floor. The club lounge is very clear about what kind of food it offers, which I really appreciated. Breakfast the next morning was the same: if you want Thai food, go to the 2nd floor—an approach that’s refreshingly straightforward. For me, that worked perfectly. I’ve always rated the food highly here, but this time I felt I truly understood the Hotel’s basic policy, so I’m giving it an especially high score.

    You can clearly hear the neighbors talking.

    I stayed alone. I live in the Kansai area, and for a change of pace I sometimes stay at a slightly nicer Hotel in the city. With my Diamond member benefit, I was upgraded from “Yu” to the higher-floor “Rei.” The view—overlooking Harukas and Tsutenkaku—was excellent and really lifted my mood, but around 10:00 p.m. I started noticing voices from the next Room. I tried to drown it out with the TV, but even after 11:00 p.m., when I went to bed, the talking didn’t stop. It sounded incredibly clear—like listening through a single thin sheet of metal. They weren’t shouting; normal conversation was fully audible. The Room I stayed in had part of one wall that functioned as a door, so it seemed it could be used as a connecting room. Unable to bear it any longer, I called the concierge after midnight. They said they would handle it right away, and it seems they went to ask the guests next door to keep it down. After a while the voices stopped, and peace finally returned. I highly appreciate how promptly they responded. However, this time the issue seemed less about loud neighbors and more about the Room’s structure. The voices were loudest near the connecting door area. If connecting rooms are assigned to unrelated guests, some consideration may be needed—for example using only one side or pairing solo guests together. From what I could hear, my neighbor seemed to be an overseas guest, so I felt slightly uneasy that this might have put a damper on their enjoyable stay in Japan. Other than that, there were no major issues with the Room’s Facility overall. The bath water temperature only reached about 39–40°C even at maximum; since I usually bathe at 42°C, it felt lukewarm to me. The shower produced hotter water than the tub did, so if you prefer hotter water you may want to fill using that instead. Because of this noise issue, even though I received an upgrade I couldn’t fully enjoy my stay—it felt like a wasted opportunity. The breakfast buffet venue was spacious and comfortable with coffee machines placed throughout. There was a good selection of Japanese/Western/Thai dishes, and everything was delicious. About 80% of guests were foreigners.

    Experience Thailand in a Tuk-Tuk

    Many of the guests are international, so having breakfast makes you feel like you’re abroad. I chose this Hotel because I wanted to have pho for breakfast. They also upgraded my Room, and the tuk-tuk Shuttle Service to in front of Namba Station was fun—overall, it was a very satisfying stay. It’s a wonderful Hotel where you can enjoy an extraordinary experience.

    A Long-Awaited Stay

    As it is a little away from the station, the area around the Hotel is not crowded and is quiet. When I arrived at the club lounge, it was just in time for tea time, so I enjoyed afternoon tea. It wasn’t available during my previous stay, so it felt new, and since I was alone, it may have been served on a plate rather than on a stand. The Room is a long, narrow suite with the bathroom area in the center, and a bedroom on one side and a living space on the other. I like Thai food, so it was nice to be able to enjoy it at light meals and breakfast.

    An exceptionally satisfying Hotel stay away from everyday life

    On my first stay, I was able to relax in the lounge on the 32nd floor while enjoying views of Osaka. The oriental fragrance reminiscent of Thailand and the refined guest room made me feel as if I were abroad, and I could take my time and enjoy the scenery at a leisurely pace. During cocktail time, a wide variety of dishes incorporating Thai cuisine were served, and I was satisfied with both the quality and quantity. It was also great that Thai beer (such as Singha) was available throughout the day. For breakfast, I chose Japanese cuisine in the lounge. Using fresh seasonal ingredients, it was especially satisfying—the beautifully presented dishes expressing nutritional balance and natural beauty were truly appetizing. The only disappointment was having to wait at the check-in counter on the 2nd floor because my Reservation could not be confirmed. However, after that I was able to check in at the lounge, and thanks to the kind and attentive service from the club lounge staff, I enjoyed a wonderful stay right through checkout.

    The Room was clean and had a great view.

    The room was very clean with great views and a convenient location, and the staff were all very kind. However, there was an odor in the room when I entered, and it lingered until morning. Other than that, I was very satisfied. Thank you!

    Club Floor Multiple Night Stay

    I stayed for three nights on the Club Floor. The lounge is not very spacious, but the seating is well-spaced, and the large windows offer a stunning city view. The limited number of rooms ensures it never feels crowded. The guests were mostly well-mannered upper-class international visitors. Many were families from Western countries with children, all behaving politely, making my stay enjoyable. I had delightful interactions, such as playing with an adorable 5-year-old from Canada and being invited to join an Australian family at their table to chat about drinks and travel. However, things changed on the third day when a Japanese family with children arrived and disrupted the atmosphere. From their unruly behavior in the elevator to loud noises in the lounge—especially one boy constantly screaming—it was unpleasant. Both parents ignored their child while focusing on eating, drinking, or using their laptops. Later they joined in making noise at a level that echoed through the bar area. Other families with children also became noisy; it was embarrassing as a fellow Japanese guest since even younger Western kids had been quiet and respectful during previous days. That said, I appreciated how Club staff addressed other guests like us during this time by offering care and attention—thank you for your efforts! While I thought banning children during cocktail hours might be ideal to avoid such issues again, it would also mean missing out on meeting wonderful international families like before. The lounge food focused more on snacks paired with alcohol rather than full meals but was satisfying enough for me. Though portions were modestly sized with fewer options available overall—they featured carefully selected ingredients emphasizing vegetable-based dishes alongside excellent drink selections curated thoughtfully! Club Floor staff provided professional yet friendly service throughout my stay; one particular Japanese female team member stood out due to her promptness & accuracy handling requests—a true professional indeed! With how comfortable & fulfilling staying within this space felt (even skipping nearby restaurants), next time around mixing reservations between Lounge Access Rooms versus Non-Lounge ones seems worth considering further planning-wise ahead now!     The lounge is excellent.

    I was concerned about parking on the day of my stay during the Toka Ebisu festival, so I called early in the morning to inquire. The staff kindly provided information, which was very helpful. When I went to drop off my luggage, I was delighted to be informed about early check-in. The afternoon tea and evening cocktails at the club lounge were delicious and exceeded my expectations—the evening cocktails felt like a full dinner. The staff were kind, and I had a relaxing post-New Year holiday staycation. Thank you very much!

    It was my first stay, and I found this accommodation so wonderful that I wished I had visited earlier. The warm and thoughtful emails before arrival reflected their customer-oriented approach, and they were very attentive in many ways. Thank you for providing a quiet and clean environment; it allowed me to have a comfortable stay. The room was clean, functional, and I enjoyed the view of the Nankai train line. The app was user-friendly, making it convenient to manage information and place orders. The staff at the club lounge were excellent, especially the Japanese female staff member who responded promptly and accurately to questions or requests with great attentiveness. Additionally, the parking attendants' guidance and front desk phone support were polite. Even the young staff who handled turndown service or brought amenities were courteous—overall, customer service was outstanding. I stayed for three nights but due to my mistake, only on the first night did I have a different room type. I'm sorry for causing trouble with luggage transfers or cleaning arrangements; however, it was nice to experience two types of rooms. One small disappointment is that 40hb only offers double beds without twin options. The towels, bathrobes, pajamas in the room were fluffy with generous sizing—very comfortable! Thank you also for providing great pillows!

    A quiet Hotel near Namba Station

    The hotel is conveniently located near Nankai Namba Station. Since it’s not on the Dotonbori side, the surroundings are quiet. This is probably my third stay here, and as a new hotel, there are no complaints about the room facilities. It would be even better if they offered humidifier rentals. The lobby has a soothing scent reminiscent of Thai lemongrass, which makes entering the hotel very relaxing. I don’t usually eat breakfast, so I didn’t use the buffet, but for those like me, there’s a convenience store on the second floor of the neighboring hotel, so you won’t have any trouble. I’ll definitely stay here again!

    Had a relaxing holiday.

    I stayed on the Club Floor and enjoyed access to the lounge. The atmosphere was relaxing, and the scent within the accommodation evoked an overseas vibe, making it feel like being abroad while dining in the lounge. The afternoon tea at the Club Lounge was served on a cake stand, which added excitement. Additionally, during evening cocktails, there was a wide variety of dishes that were both visually appealing and delicious, with some offering a hint of Thai flavors—truly satisfying. The room felt very clean and comfortable. Taking a tuk-tuk ride to the station was also a delightful experience. We are already talking about staying here again as a family!

    Stayed at the accommodation for the third year in a row at the beginning of the year.

    This was our third New Year’s stay since the accommodation opened. We love the atmosphere of the room, and the bed was very comfortable, helping us recover from fatigue. For New Year’s breakfast, there was a buffet with traditional Japanese Osechi dishes as well as Thai cuisine and more, which we always look forward to. However, this year there were fewer options, which was disappointing. It might be because there are significantly more international guests than Japanese ones. There were several types of soup available, but it made the variety of other dishes feel limited in comparison. The fruit selection also felt lacking without dragon fruit or mangoes.

    Comfortable service and delicious cuisine

    I had the pleasure of using the lounge floor on the 32nd floor, and I was amazed by the attentive service from the staff and the high quality of cuisine, including afternoon tea. Having stayed at numerous hotels, both domestically and internationally, I would rank this among the top. Above all, what remains in my memory is the warm smiles of all the staff until the very end. It truly felt like heartfelt hospitality.

    We had a relaxing and comfortable stay.

    I visited with high expectations for the new Hotel! The Club Lounge was quiet, possibly because it was a Sunday stay, allowing for a relaxing experience. The afternoon tea was delicious, and although I didn’t have high hopes for the cocktail time dishes, they exceeded my expectations—I was very satisfied. Even though I had already dined out beforehand, I ended up eating and drinking too much. If I may suggest one improvement, it would be great to have takeaway coffee or tea (in paper cups) available from the lounge—it wasn’t offered in the breakfast restaurant on the second floor either. It was a bit disappointing that there were no chairs provided since we booked as a triple-use group. Overall, it’s a Hotel I’d love to visit again!

    The Ultimate Hospitality Experience in Osaka Minami

    Choosing the Centara Grand Hotel as our accommodation was absolutely the right decision! Despite our late check-in, the front desk staff welcomed us with warm smiles and a friendly atmosphere, just like the "Land of Smiles" Thailand is known for. The breakfast buffet the next morning featured not only international dishes but also unique and delicious Thai cuisine that left us deeply impressed. Highly recommended for anyone staying in Minami.     A new and clean Hote...

    A new and clean Hotel. There are many restaurants nearby, and the station is also close, making the location excellent. The Hotel parking is a bit expensive, but it is secure and allows in-and-out access. Despite being a high-class Hotel, the foreign staff, especially at the front desk, lack hospitality and do not smile, which is disappointing. The Japanese staff, however, were very pleasant.

    I arrived for check-in at 3:00 PM, but there was a long line, and I waited for about 20 minutes. The Room was very clean! However, I noticed some pink mold on the showerhead, which concerned me. Late at night, I heard a rattling noise while lying in bed. I ended up moving the bed around to investigate, which delayed my sleep. There were no room wear provided initially; upon inquiry, I was informed that it wasn’t available on lower floors. However, they delivered it to my Room promptly—thank you for the quick response!

    Everything was satisfying.

    This was my first stay at the accommodation. Since I stayed on the club floor, I also used the lounge. I visited during tea time, cocktail time, and breakfast, and it was always quiet with a wide variety of delicious menu options. The bed in the room was large and very comfortable for sleeping. I especially liked the body milk for its pleasant fragrance. However, there were times when it was hard to hear the TV as the volume only went up to 23. I would love to stay here again!

    Simply outstanding.

    It was a wonderful stay that exceeded our expectations. The upgraded Room had a great view, offering a panoramic sight of Osaka city. Both the daytime scenery and night views were stunning, and we could gaze at them endlessly. The Room was clean, and I loved the pleasantly scented body cream so much that I purchased it to enjoy at home as well. The breakfast included delicious Thai dishes as well as Japanese cuisine, all of which were excellent. If I may make one suggestion, it would be nice to have small sweets to pair with coffee after meals. I look forward to visiting again!

    I would like to stay here again.

    First visit. Upgraded to a high floor with an amazing view. Enjoyed a comfortable and relaxing time in the spacious Room. Attentive service from the staff. Although it's an international Hotel, it felt like a traditional Japanese Hotel. I forgot my earrings in the Room, but they were quickly found and sent to me. Thank you to the housekeeping team for your help!

    We used this as a base for sightseeing in Osaka. The location was excellent, allowing us to visit the Expo and explore downtown areas with great satisfaction. Although the Room was compact, having a separate bath and toilet was convenient. We would love to stay here again when visiting Osaka. Thank you for your hospitality.

    The club lounge was excellent.

    I stayed here specifically for the club lounge. Arrived at 2:30 PM after missing lunch and headed straight to the lounge. A staff member, likely from Thailand, kindly prepared scones and sweets for me. Thank you very much! The Thai-inspired drinks were also incredibly delicious. For breakfast, I had read in reviews that the variety was limited, but since I don’t eat much in the morning anyway, I went to the lounge as well. It was completely different from what I had imagined—very stylish, charming, and delicious! I heard that the menu changed starting in September. There were some items I couldn’t try this time, so I look forward to trying them on my next visit. All of the staff members were very pleasant and welcoming. Thank you so much!
