  Perfect for treating yourself.

  It was a trip that served as both a gift for my mother and a reward for myself. The shuttle service was provided by a lovely car with staff in suits, which made us feel very secure and luxurious. Although it was raining, the garden viewed from the entrance had a modern and stylish atmosphere that was picturesque. The hospitality of the staff was very warm, friendly, and courteous, which made my mother happy. The room was simple yet stylish and comfortable, like a luxury apartment, with a focus on usability. The attention to detail in the interior, amenities, and cleanliness was impressive. Since it was the lowest grade room, the view was not enjoyable, but it was not a problem as the weather was not favorable. The bath was lovely, but my mother found the flow from the shower booth to the bath on the terrace a bit inconvenient. The meals were served in a restaurant, and before taking our seats, a special experience was prepared, making us feel like we were in another world, which greatly impressed my mother and me. Each dish was crafted with great care, and the bread baked in the restaurant was exquisite. The breakfast, with vegetables and eggs grown in the restaurant, was also impressive. Unfortunately, as we are light eaters, we couldn't finish everything, but it was a healthy and artistic creative French cuisine that appealed to women. I recommend it to those who want an experience different from a typical Onsen Ryokan. I would like to stay in a different room if I have the opportunity again.

There are various events happening daily at our own farm. This summer started with a good weather streak and a bountiful harvest of vegetables, followed by heavy rain and flooding, a direct hit from a typhoon, and extreme heat, which are annual occurrences, but there were many challenges. We are very pleased to hear that you enjoyed meals made with the vegetables we grew and harvested ourselves. When you have the opportunity to visit us again, we would love to show you around our farm, where you can enjoy the vegetables you see, their taste, and their transformation on the plate even more. We offer tours to all our guests if they wish. The entire staff is looking forward to welcoming you back for another stay, akiakis-sama.

  It's a wonderful auberge, but the service is a bit disappointing.

  A wonderful auberge has been born in Yufuin, where there has been no satisfying Stays until now. The cuisine is more than expected, and the Room is comfortable. The service staff left a very good impression, but it was disappointing that some Japanese service staff were unpleasant or forgot requests.

  Thank you very much for your stay the other day. We sincerely apologize for any shortcomings in our service staff during your stay. We are very pleased to have received many compliments on other aspects. The vegetables we offer in our meals are currently growing well as we head into winter. Our seasonal recommendations are beets and kale, and we are also ripening sweet potatoes after harvest to offer them to everyone. Our farm staff is working daily to ensure you can enjoy each season. We hope you will enjoy these many vegetables again on another occasion. All of our staff are looking forward to welcoming Dr. Ichinotani (Ichinotani Hakase) for another stay.

  I see, that's how it is.

  The staff who welcomed us were from the same hometown, which created a comfortable atmosphere for asking questions, and we were able to understand how to spend our time well. As it is a new Facility, both the guest rooms and the open-air bath were reasonably comfortable. However, the open-air bath with flowing water requires about a minute of stirring when you first enter, as the lower part of the bathtub is cold. This is something to be cautious of during the upcoming colder season. Other than the meals, everything was neither good nor bad. I rated the meals a 5, but if there were a rating above 6, it would definitely be above 6. The explanation of "meals" and "farm" on the website was only understood after actually tasting them. Honestly, I thought the vegetables were exaggerated. This perception was overturned by the turnip I had at the Farm Bar. The temperature and texture when I put it in my mouth made me realize that to provide this, it must be harvested with careful judgment of size and freshness, rather than just daily farm management. The temperature control was calculated backward from the serving time, and it was not something stored in a refrigerator, but rather cooked in a way suitable for each ingredient. Although I usually dislike sansho with eel rice, I sensed the aroma of sansho in the chestnut dessert and didn't find it unpleasant at all. It was a meal where I could feel the chef's sensibility and delicacy with all my senses. As I'm not good with alcohol, I felt it would obscure the quality of the ingredients, so I chose mineral water and was convinced it was the right choice after finishing everything. At the checkout time, it was explained that the chef was out at the farm. I thought, indeed, that's how uncompromising meals are provided.

We are delighted to receive high praise for our meals, as it is something we most want to convey and have our guests experience. Our organic farming at our own farm is great for producing delicious vegetables, but it involves a daily battle with various insects and weeds. The fact that the vegetables grown in such conditions, with a little extra effort from our chef, have reached your palate and received such feedback is a great encouragement for all our staff. The vegetables we harvest change with the seasons. Soon, we will be harvesting a lot of sweet potatoes, and beets and kale are currently growing well as we head into winter.   The food, in particular, was exquisite.

  First of all, regarding the facility, the building and hotel were modern and beautiful. The room was spacious enough and had a luxurious feel. The open-air bath on the balcony was said to be possibly too hot, but it was just right and comfortable. The staff's service was excellent. As for the food, I've eaten at various places before, but personally, it was among the top levels I've ever experienced. I've never seen a dish that elevates the potential of vegetables to this extent, and there were plenty of dishes, both in variety and quantity. It's not a place I can easily visit from my home, but I definitely want to go again. Thank you for all your considerations this time.

  Thank you very much for coming all the way from distant Hokkaido to stay with us, and for your many compliments. This summer, we had a stretch of good weather, resulting in an abundance of good vegetables... However, the typhoon that directly hit Kyushu in late August caused significant damage to our farm's tomatoes, pumpkins, and zucchinis. Despite such circumstances, our chef, kitchen staff, and farm staff have been working hard to provide meals with the vegetables currently available, planting radishes that can be harvested in a planned manner after a certain number of days, and preparing for autumn and winter without being discouraged by the typhoon damage. We were pleasantly surprised to see that the okra and eggplants, which were heavily submerged in water and seemed to be in a tough situation, regained their vitality with the subsequent good weather, bloomed again, and bore fruit. There have been various hectic events at the farm over the past month, but we are very pleased to hear that you enjoyed your meals. Hokkaido also has many delicious vegetables, and although Kyushu is far away, we hope you will enjoy your stay again when you have another opportunity to visit. All the staff are sincerely looking forward to welcoming you back for another stay from Hokkaido.
